Disclaimer: I do not own Danny Phantom. Pretty sure Butch Hartman isn't a teenage girl.
First fanfic. Reviews are greatly appreciated.
Danny Phantom may have gotten into an all out war with a (probably rabid) raccoon ghost that lasted for nearly two hours, but that's not what people were talking about the next day. Nope, all the Amity buzz was centered on but one thing: Phantom's boxers. A lucky shot from the rather oversized raccoon had left an unsightly burn in the back of the infamous hero's jumpsuit, revealing a neon green pair of boxers embroidered with tiny cartoon ghosts.
Needless to say, Danny's face was redder than a ripe tomato as he clumsily fled the scene, a pack of crazed phangirls led by none other than Paulina Sanchez hot on his tail.
It was all anyone could talk about, those embarrassing boxers, and Danny was sick of it. Stores everywhere were frantically searched, but the closest anyone came to a pair of "The Phantom Underpants", as they were being referred to (much to Danny's disgust and Tucker's uncontainable delight), were dark teal "Casper the Friendly Ghost Boxers".
Not that anyone would be able to find those ectoplasmic undies, anyway. The bright green boxers were hand-made by none other that Mrs. Fenton herself, complete with a "DJF" sewn into the waistband (thank goodness no one had noticed that!). Of course, the oldest Fentons were much too caught up with trying to capture the raccoon ghost (that had gotten away under Phantom's embarrassed watch) to realize where those boxers had come from, much less that their son seemed to be permanently pink.
Danny had managed to maneuver his way around those hated boxers for twelve days (Superhero, remember? Ain't nobody got time for laundry), only to cave in after wearing swim trunks for the last two.
Of course, that day, of all days, had to be THE day that Dash decided to get revenge on Danny. Why, you ask? For being Danny, of course. The usually loud bully motioned for his friends to watch as he stalked silently over to where the youngest Fenton was talking with Sam and Tucker, going for a much more subtle tactic than usual.
"Think fast, Fenturd!" Dash exclaimed gleefully as he pantsed Danny so quickly that the halfa didn't have time to react.
A blush bloomed across Danny's face as he tried desperately not to turn invisible on instinct, yet still hide those evil, evil, fluorescent green underpants. Snorts and giggles quickly turned into stares, however, as the usually oblivious students began to realize exactly what Dash had revealed. The hallway was completely silent until a single voice finally spoke up.
"Doesn't Phantom have those boxers?" squealed the incredulous voice of Paulina Sanchez.
Then, all hell broke loose.
