Kaylee POV

I don't think that this smile has come off my face all morning, before me on the coffee table is a ton of paper work from the college for the photography course I'm applying for, Chandlar and Ross went with me early this morning to the university to speak to some professors and get the paperwork. I showed them some photographs that I had done and they even said that I had talent and a good eye for detail.

"Alright. Phoebe?" Monica says, I look up from this, I've not really been listening with all these papers I've been reading and going through with what needs signing, I've even got a pad and pen to write down what I need and any equipment and stuff.

"Okay, okay. If I were omnipotent for a day, I would want, um, world peace, no more hunger, good things for the rain-forest...And bigger boobs!" she says, I smirk at this,

"Yeah, see…you took mine. Chandler, what about you?" Ross asks, I laugh at this,

"Uh, if I were omnipotent for a day, I'd…make myself omnipotent forever" says Chandlar,

"See, there's always one guy. "If I had a wish, I'd wish for three more wishes."' Rachel says, I smirk at this, it's true there is always one.

"Hey, Joey, what would you do if you were omnipotent?" Ross asks as Joey walks in, sitting in his seat behind me,

"Probably kill myself!" he says I look to him confused at this,

"...Excuse me?" Monica asks, everyone from what I can see is also looking at Joey,

"Hey, if Little Joey's dead, then I got no reason to live!" Joey says like it's obvious, I smirk at this,

"Joey, uh- Omnipotent" Ross says, Joey looks to Ross from this and I see him looking really shocked and sympathetic, I cover my mouth with my hand to stop my giggles.

"You are? Ross, I'm sorry..." he says, putting his hand on Ross' shoulder in sympathy, looking to us like to say he didn't know.

"Joey, Ross isn't what you think he is, Omnipotent is a word meaning 'All Powerful'…not the other thing" I say to him, he seems confused at first then has a look of understanding,

"Well what would you do if you were one?" he asks me I smile at him for this, he knows what the word means now but I'm not sure he completely gets it.

"I would stop all animal cruelty in the world and be able to swim underwater without breathing" I say, happy with my choices, Joey nods at my choices in agreement,

"Ok then, then mine would be to fly" he says, I laugh at this,

"Hey dibs on the first fly ride" I say grinning widely, he salutes at me in response causing me to laugh as well as the others.

"I've got to go, I have an audition and I'm hoping to get it" he says, I give him a thumbs up as he leaves, getting back to the paper work before me.

"Hey, Ross, does this mock application look ok?" I ask, looking to him in question, he motions for me to come over and I go to sit beside him with the practice application in hand, handing it over to him to have a look at,

"This is looking good Kaylee, just a couple of improvements" he says, I nod at this and watch as he shows me what to do to make it better.

I vaguely hear Chandlar leave for work and Rachael still working, I've been sitting in front of Ross in case I need any more help, thankfully I haven't needed it much but its good to know he's here.

"How does she do that?" Monica asks, I look up thinking they might be talking about me, but see they're not, I look to where they are looking to see Phoebe asleep on the couch, aww she looks so sweet.

"I cannot sleep in a public place" Ross says, looking to Monica and then to me, I shrug depends on the location, ive slept on a train once by accident,

"Would you look at her? She is so peaceful" Monica says, leaning a little towards her but as she does Phoeve wakes up startled, I back away a little,

"Oh! What what what! ...Hi" Phoebe says looking at us all sleepily,

"It's okay, y'know, you just nodded off again" Ross tells her, she sighs at this,

"What's going on with you?" Monica asks, I nod at this, concerned for her, she's been very sleepy recently,

"I got no sleep last night!" Phoebe says exasperated,

"Why?" Ross asks,

"My grandmother has this new boyfriend, and they're both kind of insecure in bed. Oh, and deaf. So they're constantly, like, having to reassure each other that they're having a good time. You have no idea how loud they are!" she says, I grimace at this, that would definitely keep me up at night.

"Well, if you want, you can stay with Rachel and me tonight" Monica says, I smile at that,

"Thanks" Phoebe says,

"Kaylee, do you want to join us? I mean do you have a date tonight?" she asks, I smile at this,

"That would be great! Jake's visiting his family in England this weekend" I say, she smiles at this,

"So he's from England? That's some information about this mystery man" Phoebe says, I smirk at this,

"Yeah I know, apparently he went to a private school near the boarding school I went to" I say, they nod at this, having known that Chandlar and I went to different boarding schools when we were younger, though my dad said it would be better for me to go to one in a different country for some reason.

"Hey! Here's the birthday boy! Ross, check it out: hockey tickets, Rangers-Penguins, tonight at the Garden, and we're taking you" Joey says to Ross, him and Chandlar having come into the café, hmm now I'm realising why I call this place a café – must be from the English boarding school, I just thought it was from all the films I've seen.

"Happy birthday, pal!" Chandlar says sitting down near Ross, I smile up at them in greting,

"Funny, my birthday was seven months ago" Ross says, I scoff at this, what are they up to?

"So?" Joey asks, trying to look innocent, well he's failing at that.

"So, I'm guessing you had an extra ticket and couldn't decide which one of you got to bring a date?" Ross says, I look to the guys for confirmation,

"Well, aren't we Mr. "The glass is half empty." Chandlar says, I smirk at this, getting back to my paperwork, wait…need to pee!

"Protect these papers with your life!" I say, hurriedly getting up and running to the bathroom, three cups of tea is a lot for the bladder!

I come out a little later and sit back in my seat

"C'mon, Ross!" Joey says, sounds like begging, weird that Ross doesn't seem to want to go, did I miss something?

"Alright, alright, maybe it'll take my mind off it. Do you promise to buy me a big thumb finger?" Ross says,

"You got it." Chandlar says nodding, looking down at me now,

"Hows my little soon-to-be-college sister?" he asks, I smile at him for this,

"Little nervous, trying to get this application right, Ross has been helping me" I say looking to Ross with appreciation,

"I'm sure you'll do fine" Chandlar says rubbing my shoulder I smile in appreciation.

"Look-look-look-look-look, my first pay check! Look at the window, there's my name! Hi, me!" Rachael says, hurrying over to us with an envelope in hand,

"I remember the day I got my first pay check. There was a cave in in one of the mines, and eight people were killed" Phoebe says, I look to her confused at this,

"Wow, you worked in a mine?" Monica asks, all of us basically looking at Phoebe in question,

"I worked in a Dairy Queen, why?" she asks, I frown at that, sometimes I don't understand her,

"God, isn't this exciting? I earned this. I wiped tables for it, I steamed milk for it, and it was totally—not worth it. Who's FICA? Why's he getting all my money? I mean, what- Chandler, look at that." She says, handing it to Chandlar, oh man I hope they didn't go too badly with her.

"Oh, this is not that bad" Chandlar says afrer looking at it, then handing it to me, my eyes widen at this, surely she should have received more then this? I hand it to Joey, who in turn hands it to the others, I try to discreetly get my purse, I know I don't make a lot but I can give her a little something to cheer her up, and I look to see in time that we're all apparanlty giving her some, bless her we all know what its like for getting your first pay check.

"Hockey!" the guys all say, though they pause for a secong when some girls come inside, then shout it again and finally leave.

"Rachel?" one of them says, whom I see looking at our Rachael

"Oh my God!" she cries then they all start screaming, I cover my ears from the sound,

"I swear I've seen birds do this on Wild Kingdom" Monica says, I smirk at her for that,

"What are you guys doing here?" Rachael asks the banshees,

"Well, we were in the city shopping, and your mom said you work here, aaand it's true!" one of the girls say, I narrow my eyes at this, I look to Phoebe and Monica seeing them both with similar expressions,

"Look at you in the apron. You look like you're in a play" says the very clearly pregnant one,

"Look at you, you are so big I can't believe it!" Rachael says hugging the pregnant girl,

"I know. I know! I'm a duplex" she says,

"So what's going on with you?" Rachael asks the other woman,

"Well, guess who my dad's making partner in his firm?" she says, then points to herself and they all scream, seriously is this a thing?

And while we're on the subject of news…" says the third girl, showing off her engagement ring…I think I can see where this is going.

"Look, look, I have elbows!" says Phoebe and they both scream together mimicking the girls, I laugh at them for that, that is funny.

"Let's get going girls, I'll get upstairs ready and you two get your stuff" says Monica, I nod at this, getting my stuf together and putting it carefully into my bag,

"See you later Rachael" I say, she waves lightly at me for this, I hope she'll be ok.
