This is a Blast of Tempest fan fiction, and merchandise for that is where I got my cover art from. This is in no way intended to be yaoi. I do not do yaoi; if you do then that's your thing.

"Yoshino! C'mon!" Mahiro called out to his friend. "And you complain about me being late, geez!"

"I'm coming!" Yoshino replied, running to join his friend but he tripped and fell. Mahiro backtracked to Yoshino.

"You didn't spend all last night studying or something did you?" Mahiro asked as he offered Yoshino a hand. "We can go another day, you know." He added.

"No, it's alright." Yoshino said, taking Mahiro's outstretched hand. Mahiro pulled Yoshino up, and when he did, he noticed something.

"Really? Cause you're looking kinda pale."

"I'm fine…"

Yoshino trailed off and his eyes fluttered as he started falling backwards.

"Yoshino!"

Mahiro swiftly caught him and gently sat him down on a bench. Yoshino propped his arm on the arm rest and held his head.

"What's wrong?"

"I-I just felt a little dizzy… Do… you have any water?"

"No, but I'll go get you some. I'll be back soon; don't move."

Mahiro ran off to get Yoshino some water. How was he going to get water? By kicking a vending machine. Luckily, one was close by and he managed to get a water bottle out of it without too much trouble. He was glad that Yoshino was too out of it to realize that he totally stole the water from a vending machine. Had he realized that, he probably would have refused to drink it. When Mahiro returned, Yoshino's face looked even paler than before. Mahiro was really starting to worry now.

"Here, I got you some water." Mahiro said.

"Th-thanks." Yoshino said, taking the water from Mahiro. Mahiro sat down next to him, studying him carefully as he drank the water somewhat slowly.

"Now, we're definitely not going." Mahiro stated. "You should go home."

"Yeah… you're right." Yoshino agreed. "Sorry, Mahiro."

"It's fine. Do you feel a bit better?"

Yoshino's face didn't look quite as pale as before. Maybe he was just dehydrated?

"Mm, just give me a minute."

Mahiro waited several minutes as Yoshino recovered.

"Okay, we can go now." Yoshino said.

"Without passing out? I'm not in a hurry."

"Yeah. Just don't go too fast."

"Pfft, I'm not that stupid."

"No, just extremely unpredictable."

Mahiro gave him a slightly annoyed look.

"You must be feeling better."

"Yes, I am."

"Let's go then."

"Okay."

The two of them stood up. Mahiro was still watching over him just in case he faints again. The two of them walked slowly to Yoshino's house but there weren't any more problems.
