Skull shifted nervously as he waited to be seen by the Wizengamot. After all, it wasn't everyday a wizard tried to tell a muggle about the Wizarding World. He was next to be seen by them and he was getting nervous. He never had to see them before, especially since his jobs were either solely in the muggle world or mafia related.

He could only think of all the negative things that could go wrong. They could deny his request, force them back into the Wizarding World, obliviate them all. Obviously, some of these options wouldn't happen but that didn't stop them from floating around Skull's mind. It was made worse since all he knew about the Minister of Magic was his name, Nobby Leach, and that he was a muggle-born.

"Lord de Mort?" A feminine voice said with a small quiver to her voice. Skull stood and brushed down his robes nervously. He hadn't worn robes since his last year at Hogwarts so sue him if he felt like he was drowning in them. He smiled kindly at her.

He watched as confusion and surprise flashed through her eyes. "You're Lord de Mort?" she asked with wide eyes. Skull blinked in confusion. "It has always been my name. I'm Skull de Mort," he answered truthfully. The lady just pursed her lips and stared at him distrustfully, making Skull shiver. "Follow me," she said and turned away. Skull had to walk quickly to keep up with the short woman.

When he entered, he felt like a small child once more. Everyone looked like they were in their early hundreds or late nineties. There were a few younger lords but that was it. They all seemed tense when the lady introduced him and he didn't know why.

"Is this some joke?" one of the older wizards asked with a frown. Skull blinked in shock. "Uh...no?" he said with a frown. "What is your true name?" another older wizard asked with a glare.

"My name is Skull de Mort, has been since the day I was born. If you don't believe me then look through Hogwarts records since I was a student there," Skull said with a bit more fire then was necessary but damn if he wasn't confused.

All of the Wizengamot sat above him and whispered to each other while either staring or glaring at him. "Why did you request an audience with us?" the Minister, Nobby, asked. He seemed like the most open of the bunch but even he was pursing his lips slightly.

Skull shifted nervously while rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "I would like to ask if I could tell a muggle about the Wizarding World. A few of them to be precise," he spoke honestly. If his last name made them nervous then he was sure his request made some of them have heart attacks. "And why would you do that?! We have a Statute of Secrecy for a reason," an older witch asked in shock.

"I live with muggles and I'm raising a young wizard who will display accidental magic. I ask so that they can be prepared for it," he explained calmly. Everyone was once again whispering. All but the Minister who watched him with keen golden eyes. "How many muggles?" he asked searchingly.

Skull straightened and actually thought about it. There was Fon, Mammon, Verde, Lal, Colonello, Yuni, and Reborn. He shouldn't have to tell anyone else and he would just have to stress that they couldn't tell anyone. Of course, if Yuni was as powerful as her grandmother then he wouldn't even need to tell her. But then again, seeing as she hasn't found him then she probably wasn't.

"There are seven in total," he replied after a pause. He thought that was manageable since he won't be telling all of Vongola or Varia about it. That would add thousands more so the seven he thought was fairly reasonable. "Seven?!" a younger witch asked in shock. All of them seemed to look at him in a new light at this revelation.

"Well, I have been living in the muggle world for most of my life now," he said with a small grin. That seemed to shock them more for some unknown reason. "So you have no idea what is going on in the Wizarding World at the current moment?" the older wizard that spoke first asked with a frown.

Skull shook his head. He had a faint idea if that man's plan went the way he thought it did. Whispers broke out again while the Minister silently sat and stared at him searchingly. "And this child?" the man questioned, silencing the room. Skull almost smiled at him. He certainly knew how to get straight to the point and keep everyone on track. "His name is Severus Snape. He was my cousin's son but she signed his rights over to me so now he his my son," he spoke honestly, He felt his eyes narrow and a small smirk to slip on his face. "He has shown a lot of accidental magic since I've gotten him and it is becoming difficult to explain to the muggles," he spoke with a small, tired sigh.

He could hear them whispering about it all and stood stoically in the middle of the room. The Minister finally smiled slightly before nodding. "All those who are against?" he spoke. Some raised their hands to just put them back down when they noticed that the Minister did not raise his.

"All those in favor?" he questioned while raising his own hand. A lot more raised their hands this time. Skull smiled happily. "Now remember Lord de Mort," Minister Nobby spoke with narrowed gold eyes, "this is a privilege not bestowed often. I hope you do not break your word." Skull shivered at the words and the power behind them but continued to smile happily at them.

"I wouldn't dream of it, Sir."

"When is Papa coming home?" Reborn's eyes twitched as this was the hundredth (it was only the twelfth) time hearing this damned question. "He'll be home when he walks through the door," he answered darkly.

Severus pouted up at him from his spot in the middle of the living room. "I'm hungry," he countered snidely. Reborn rolled his eyes as he got up from his seat. "What do you want to eat?" he asked. Severus quickly got up and ran to the kitchen. "Burgers," he answered with a small happy lilt to his voice. Reborn smirked down at the child.

"Think you got an addiction there, Chibi," Severus paused and turned to look at him darkly. "What does that mean?" he asked with a frown. Reborn rose a brow as he got the hamburger meat from the freezer. "What does what mean, Karasu?" he asked with a smirk.

Severus groaned and practically threw himself onto the dining room chair. "You and Papa play the same games. What does chibi and karatu mean?" he spoke with a pout. Reborn didn't actually know what that first part meant but he answered nonetheless. "Chibi means you're short basically and Karasu means raven," he spoke with narrowed obsidian eyes. Severus' eyes shined slightly at the new knowledge and said them under his breath as though to memorize them.

As Reborn cooked he watched his charge closely. The boy seemed much more occupied with trying to memorize the two words then paying attention to whatever he was doing.

"How much Italian do you actually know?" he asked curiously. Severus smirked up at him, "Credo di essere abbastanza fluente ora," he responded with proud eyes. Reborn chuckled at this and nodded. "So the lackey is good at teaching. Never knew he had it in him," he said with smirk.

Severus scoffed and glared at him. "Stop calling him that. Papa is no one's lackey," he growled out. Reborn rose a brow and smirked almost evilly down at the child. "Oh~, but he is. He's my lackey," he returned. Severus did growl at this. "He belongs to me," he continued before the boy could say anything else. Severus froze before shifting slightly with curious eyes.

"He belongs to you?" he repeated softly. Reborn blinked before nodding, "Of course," he replied questioningly. "Do you belong to him then?" he asked with narrowed eyes.

Reborn's eyes widened fractionally and almost didn't remove the food from the stove. He finished making the burgers silently even though he could feel those onyx orbs watching his person closely. He put the brat's food in front of him and his own burger in front of himself.

"Why would you ask that?" he questioned with dark eyes. Severus didn't say anything at first before he smirked. "You didn't deny it," he countered, completely ignoring the question. Reborn rolled his eyes. This child was too much like him when he was younger and it was giving him a headache. "I don't belong to anyone," he said with a frown. Severus just took a big bite of his burger with a knowing smirk and confident eyes.

If this was anyone else's brat he would've gouged out those eyes for looking at him like that. But seeing as Skull would somehow strangle him with his own testicles made the other pause before scoffing.

"Would you like to learn the language that I spoke to you?" he asked while eating his own burger. Severus nearly choked when asked that but managed to swallow it and looked at him with wide, almost sparkling onyx eyes, "Really?" he asked hopefully. Reborn nearly choked as well at the pure 'Skull' look he received from the child. "I never lie," that was a lie, not like the child knew that.

"What language was it?" he asked while quickly finishing off his food. Reborn smirked at the other, "Japanese," he answered. Severus hummed while finishing his last bite of food. "I would like to learn it," he spoke with a hopeful tilt of his head. Reborn almost smiled at the child tenderly.

Almost.

"We'll start lessons after I finish eating. Meet me in the living room and we'll get started once I'm done," he motioned towards said area. Severus smiled happily, for once directed at him, before hopping off the chair and racing towards the living room.

Reborn chuckled and quickly finished his food. What the child never knew wouldn't hurt the hitman's reputation.

Short chapter but I love it all the same. Tell me what you think. After this, I'm thinking of making them longer. Should I make them longer or keep the chapters short?
