If you had asked me, do I believe, I would have laughed you off without a care. And promptly called the nearest psych-ward, insisting you needed treatment for delusions, hallucinations, and whatever else they could crack up.

Yet, here we are.
The burning is more than unpleasant, it's fire and acid, eating its way through the blood that runs in my veins. Pain, unlike anything I have ever experienced, forcing my muscles to spasm and my back to arch as a bloodcurdling scream tears itself raw from my lips. The floor sears my skin, coated in the same disgusting substance, and the heat of a fire that has long since died without the necessary time needed to do so. And the creature; that same, monstrous atrocity, towers over me with fangs and spit and heaven only knows what else. Not even the intensity of a blue-eyed angel that pleads for my return or glowing amber cat-eyes that hold my every attention can save me now.
So, you ask if I believe now, if I can see the world that lurks beneath the ignorant nose and blooms from the shadows unnoticed by mundane eyes?

Canon: I will be following the Shadowhunters Episode Timeline, with my own scenes and interludes written in to break up the events we've already seen and loved. Some information from the books will be utilized in regards to practices, history, etc.
AU Elements: This will be Original Character centric, as my main character and the POV that you will read from mostly, is a character I've created. I will also have a handful of other original characters added in, though their roles will be smaller. Though this is a Twin/Sister!Fic, she will not be just stealing Clary's lines and going about the episodes in her shadow. The OC will have her own take on the Shadow World, her own abilities, and her own experiences. I will also be pulling in knowledge/elements from other supernatural/mythical sources, etc.
Update Schedule: I am hoping, now that I've edited this (05/07/2019), that my muse will be a present part of myself and that I will at least be able to update once every two weeks. There is a ton of material to go through, now that it's come to a close. I'm annoyed with myself because there were some elements of my outline that have actually shown up in the show in the third season, but because I didn't get my writing out there, now look as if I just twisted what they've put out. But, sometimes real life just gets in the way. And things don't always stay on task. So I make no promises! Just sincere hopes.
Reviews: Loveeeee them! Seriously, they feed my muse which means you guys get more content. But I won't demand them, or hold chapters hostage for them. I also try to answer every one. Before I put it at the end of each chapter, but now I will answer by inbox or review replies.
Shipping: A big shout out to CoffeeJunkie33 who came up with Malecbeth for our main pairing! I'm still in love with it. It's even the title of my Spotify Playlist for the couple.
Casting: I'll make note of any casting updates! At one time, I had planned to change a few of them about for some of their movie counterparts, but I've decided to leave that be. Creative Licensing: Alec's eyes are still blue in this, fight me.
Tumblr: Ugh, apparently from disuse or from a purge, my Tumblr was deleted. I am in the process of creating a new one that will be under my username, and feature Heart Of Runes as its own side blog! There will be aesthetics, playlists, story inspiration content, sneak peaks and chapter hosted there as well. Just in case something goes wonky and this is deleted.
