Hey everyone, I've decided to rewrite my Legend of the Royal Knights story. Starting off with chapter one. It's different from the original, so I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 1: A legend

Long ago, the Digital World lived in peace and harmony. Ruling the Digital world was a being known as King Drasil, the king of all Digimon, a beloved ruler who loved seeing his subjects live their lives in peace.

But then, seven evil digimon who called themselves the Seven Semon loads, along with their master, Millenniummon threaten to plague the digital world into darkness. King Drasil fought the Demon Lords and their master to protect his people from their evil.

However, they defeated King Drasil, and the digital world was soon devoured by darkness. Only a few digimon chose to oppose Millenniummon and the Deven Demon lords, for their beloved King. But the seven Demon Lords deleted all who oppose them and their master.

King Drasil, badly wounded after his defeat at the seven Demon Lords' hands, could only watch as tyrants ruled his world, and how his people suffered. Left with no other choice, King Drasil sent a call for help to the Human World, hoping that brave heroes would come forth and aid him in defeating the seven Demon Loads, and Millenniummon.

His call was answered, and 20 humans came to assist him to win back his home.

However, the humans were all children, not even over the age of ten. Even so, they answered his call and now they cannot return home. The children were given a Digimon partner from King Drasil, one for each of them. These 20 Digimon have suffered from the Demon Lords and have come to King Drasil to fight gainst them They all became great friends really fast.

The battle between the humans, their partners and King Drasil against the Demon Loads and Millenniumon lasted three years in the digital world. During this war, the children experienced the cruelty of the Demon Lords and Milleniummon. They were forced to mature, losing their innocence as children. They lost lots of allies and friends to the Demon Lords, and come close to death itself.

However after so long and many hard fought battles, King Drasil, the humans and their partners defeated the Demon loads and Millenniumon and won back the digital world. However, Millenniummon was too powerful to defeat, so they were left with no other choice, but to seal him away. Before the tyrant Digimon was sealed away, he spoke 18 words that left King Drasil with a heavy heart.

"You may have won the battle, but not the war! Mark my words, the digital world will be mine!''

These words troubled King Drasil greatly, but he chose to ignore them for now. Because he had other matters to attain to. Even if they won the war, many sacrifices were made.

So many Digimon were killed by the Demon Lords, but not in the ordinary way. The Demon Lords absorbed date, preventing them from ever being revived again. The digital world was almost destroyed from the battles of this war. History would come to know this war as the 'Ancient War'.

King Drasil didn't forget the children. Out of all of them, only 15 and their partners were left alive, while the other five and their partners were killed. The remaining children also lost something. They may still be children in appearance, but the war forced them to mature. Their minds lost the spirit of normal children, having seen death, pain and lots more in this war.

King Drasil felt that it was his fault that things came to this. If he didn't call them to join this world, they woudn't have experienced the horrors they saw and the children that died, could still be alive and lived happy lives. But now because of his actions, those children lost so much and his heart grew heavy with regret.

The remaining children tried to reassure him that they know how dangerous this war was, but they still fought for him and the digimon and their dead friends felt the same. They feel sad for the lost of the friends they made, but they wouldn't let their sacrifice wouldn't be in van. The scars of the war would forever be with them, but they will never sink into despair. The 15 remanning Digimon felt the same as their partners

King Drasil felt touched by the children's words and thanked them. King Drasil told them all that someday, Milleniummon would be free and will continue his crusade of destruction on the Digital World.

"Even if it's over for now... one day they will return!"

King Drasil said these words to the remanning children, warning them that their battle wasn't over yet. He gave them a choice, to come back when the Digital World needed them, or live their lives in peace. The children chose to return here someday to finish what they started.

King Drasil, although thankful, wished they refused. They've lost so much in the war that they deserve to live a peaceful life. For them to be ready, King Drasil placed the children's partner Digimon in hyper sleep. When the Demon Lords return, their partners would return to free him to continue the war and defeat the Demon Lords and their master once and for all.

Finally, with his power restored, King Drasil returned the 15 children back to the world and families, wishing them a peacefully life. The children bid farewell to King Drasil, who became a father figure to them all, and swore that they'd return someday.

Many years has passed in the Digital World after that battle and the Digital world and Digimon have lived in peace. King Drasil soon took to hiding, thinking it was time for the Digital World to live without its king. Before he left, he made a promise that one day he'll return to rule over his people again and fight the Demon Lords.

The thought of any new evil Digimon appearing to disturb the peace entered King Drasil's mind, so he created artificial beings, who would protect the Digital World in his place. In some time later, these artificial beings would create a new team of humans and Digimon partners, who would be known as the Digidestined.

Eventually, new humans were called to protect the Digital World from new threats and succeeded. However, what the Digidestined didn't know was that every time that when evil Digimon appeared, the darkness they spread found its way to Milleniummon's seal, draining its power. The time for the Ancient War to continue was coming soon and the great battle fought so long ago will continue.

However, thirteen of the remaining children and their Digimon partners created a bond so strong that it created a new power for each of them. This power allowed them to merge with their Digimon partners to form thirteen Digimon with unimaginable power.

This power that these three teen digimon had won the war for King Drasil. King Drasil, who saw this power, decided to make these thirteen Digimon his great champion knight Digimon. These Digimon had no names, so King Drasil decided to give them all a name.

The black knight was named: Alphamon - The Alpha Knight.

The white knight was named: Omnimon - The Knight of Fusion.

The golden knight was named: Magnamon - The Knight of Miracles.

The crimson knight was named: Gallantmon - The Knight of the Hazard.

The black and white knight was named: Leopardmon - The Knight of Strategy.

The pink knight was named: Crusadermon - The Knight of the Rose.

The dark purple Knight was named: Craniumon - The Knight of Steel.

The silver knight was named: Dynasmon - The Knight of Winds.

The red knight was named: Kentaurosmon- The Swift Crimson Horse Knight.

The blue knight was named: UlforveVeedramon - The Knight of Speed.

The dragon knight was named: Examon - The Dragon Emperor knight.

The human knight was named: Gankoomon - The holy knight.

The red and white knight was named: Jesmon- The Knight of Security.

These Knights were legendary heroes for defeating the seven Demon Lords and their master, restoring peace to the Digital World. After the ancient war, they all vanished, like they never existed.

Legend tells that when the digital world would be at the brink of destruction once more, these legendary knights would appear once more to save the Digital World and destroy the forces of evil.

They also had another name.

A name that would bring hope to the innocent and fear to their enemies.

They were called…

THE ROYAL KNIGHTS!
