Chapter 16: Sneak Attack, Secrets Revealed, & True Colors

After his defeat against the Rider known as Poseidon, Asuka had brought Yuuma back to Cous Coussier where the rest of their friends were waiting for them after they heard what happened, except for Yagyu who was missing for some reason.

Asuka had brought Yuuma to his room, where she was applying bandages on his wounds and placed a bandage on his cheek which causes Yuuma to wince in pain.

"Itai!" Yuuma said.

"Oh I'm sorry, Yuuma-kun." Asuka said as she was now done treating him.

"It's alright, just be a little more gentler next time." Yuuma said.

"But still, I'm still a little surprised you fought against a Greeed who's also a Kamen Rider as well." Ikaruga said.

"Yeah, truth be told I'm still a little shocked about that." Yuuma said.

Yuuma and the others then turns to Ankh who was leaning on the wall.

"Ankh, you wouldn't know anything about this do you?" Yuuma asked the Greeed.

"I told you before, I didn't know about this Poseidon until now. And I'm still shocked myself that he's able to transform like you." Ankh told him and the others.

"But still, you are one of the only people in this room that knows more about the Greeeds and OOO better than anyone. You're really sure you don't know anything?" Ikaruga asked.

"And just this once, I don't know about this guy. We never even met before until now." Ankh told her and the others.

"Well I guess there's no point in asking pointless questions then." Yuuma said.

Katsuragi looks down before she took a deep breath and walks towards Yuuma.

"Katsu, is something wrong?" Yuuma asked as he saw there was a serious look on her face.

"There is…" Katsuragi nodded. "It's about the girl you met earlier."

"You mean, Hikage-chan? What about her?" Yuuma asked.

"There's something about her that you need to know." Katsuragi told him, which made Yuuma blinks in confusion wondering what she meant by that.

(Cue Anything Goes by Maki Ohguro)

(You count the Medals: 1, 2 and 3 Life goes on, Anything Goes, Coming up OOO!) We start seeing the screen replaced with a rocky surface and the Taka Medal is on it followed by the Tora and Batta Medals. We then move to see OOO with a magnifying glass on him. As it goes on OOO, we see OOO with different parts. Finally, we see OOO in his default form posing behind the Tatoba symbol.

(Instrumental) A Cell Medal is flipped through the air by Yuuma as he soon catches it. He inserts the Medal in the Ride Vendor before allowing it to transform into a bike. Yuuma, as OOO, drives the bike down the street as the title appears.

(Inranai motanai yume mo minai FUREE na joutai sore me ii kedo {Kokkara hajimaru The show we're waiting for Count the Medals: 1, 2 and 3}) We then see Yuuma wandering a desert carrying his underwear tied to a stick, then changes to Asuka walking through a forest, and changes to Ankh was walking on a roof in the city. Yuuma placed his stick on the ground and relaxes while on the ground as Ankh (As an arm) flies around the screen before showing the Taka, Tora, and Batta Medals.

(Unmei wa kimi hottokanai kekkyoku wa susumu shika nai {Michi naru tenkai Give me energy Count the Medals: 1, 2 and 3}) Yuuma relaxes but gets up as he notices the Taka Medal and picks it up. Asuka notices the Tora Medal and picks it up while Ankh picks up the Batta Medal. The three stand back to back with their Medals as Ankh's arm files around the screen again before showing the three Core Medals again.

(Daijobu! Ashita wa itsudatte Blank!) The Greeed are showing placing their colored sheets on the beach as they appear relaxed. Asuka runs after Ankh but a red curtain gets in between them. Asuka tears it down to find Ankh gone.

(Jibun no kachi wa jibun de kimeru mono saa!) Ankh grabs a bunch of Cell Medals and looks at them while Yuuma stares at him. Yuuma looks at the Medals in his hand as Asuka looks at him. Yuuma soon uses the O-Scanner to scan the Taka, Tora, and Batta in his Driver.

"Henshin!" Yuuma says before transforming.

(OOO! OOO! OOO! OOO! COME ON!) We see OOO posing, then appearing in this chapter, then appearing on his Ride Vendor, and them him attacking. We then see him on the desert where he raises his arm out and several Medals burst out of the ground.

(Anything goes! Sono kokoro ga atsuku naru mono!) OOO drives his bike and the next thing we see are the Tatoba Medals appearing on Yuuma's hand with a smile. We then see him transforming into OOO. We then get a close up on his helmet.

(Mitasareru mono wo sagashite!) We see the Hanzo students on one side of a Taka Cell Medal, and the Serpent Academy students on the other side of the Cell Medal, between them are Hanzo, Kiriya, and Suzune.

(Life goes on! Honki dashite Tataku no Nara!) OOO gets his Tora claws out before charging. We then see OOO driving his bike being followed by several Taka and Tako Candroids, the Tako Candroids then form a ramp that OOO drives on which made him fly to the air with the Taka Candroids. Asuka hugs the red curtain; hugging Ankh from behind, Ankh then made a somewhat sad face.

(Maker ki shinai hazu!) We see the rest of the Greeed, including Poseidon, in front of their respective curtains. OOO gets the Medajalibur, charges it with three Cell Medals, and slashes the ground. As he slashed the ground, Medals burst from the ground and the song ends with the Tatoba Medals appearing from the ground to the screen.

"Eh? Hikage-chan, is an evil shinobi?" Yuuma asked a little surprised to hear that.

"That's right." Katsuragi nodded. "Not only that she's also one of the two who attacked us during our island trip."

"I see so that was her." Ikaruga said in understanding.

"No way...I didn't expect Hikage-chan would do that." Yuuma said as he was still stunned by this.

"And she's not the only one." They look and saw Yagyu entering the room.

"Oh Yagyu-chan, I was starting to get worried." Hibari said as she runs and hugs onto her and Yagyu smiles as she returned the hug.

"I'm sorry about that, Hibari." Yagyu told her before they let go of each other before she turns to Yuuma. "Anyway, that other girl you met, the one who called herself Mirai. She's also an evil shinobi."

Which furthered shock Yuuma when he heard that.

"No way...Mirai-chan too…" Yuuma mutters.

"Yes, I know this is hard for you to accept but it's the truth." Yagyu told him. "Also it might be possible that she was also a part of the same group that the other evil shinobi that attack Ikaruga belongs to."

"I was also thinking the same as well." Ikaruga said in agreement.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that. Who was she?" Yuuma asked.

"Well she never told us her name, but she has this strange love for bean sprouts." Ikaruga told him.

"Wait, bean sprouts…" Yuuma said as he remembers Yomi and her love for bean sprouts. "Umm...by any chance she wouldn't happen to have long blond hair and green eyes?"

This surprised Asuka and Ikaruga when he said that.

"Wait, you met her as well?!" Ikaruga gasped.

"Y-Yes I did…" Yuuma sighs as he rubs the back of his head.

"So not only two but three evil shinobis had made contact with you. I still can't believe that you let them fool you like that. But then again you are too trustworthy for your own good." Ikaruga said.

"Well it's not like I know they were shinobi or not. Isn't being secretive sort of their skill set?" Yuuma said.

"Okay, I admit that is a good point. But still, to think they made contact with you." Ikaruga said.

"Hanzo-san did say they were going to do something like that. But I still can't believe those three are evil, I mean they look like such good people." Yuuma said.

"You also shouldn't forget the fact that they're the enemy." Ikaruga told him.

"The enemy? Isn't that going a little too far, Ikaruga?" Yuuma asked.

"Sorry Yuuma, but I have to agree with her." Katsuragi told him. "They attacked and humiliated us so many times, and who knows what they have planned for you."

"I know...but even so…" Yuuma mutters as he rubs the back of his head.

Ikaruga then saw the sun was now setting through the window.

"Anyway, it's getting late. We will discuss more about this tomorrow." Ikaruga told him before she and the others leave the room, while Asuka stays behind.

"Ummm...Yuuma-kun…" Asuka mutters.

"It's alright, Asuka-chan. You can go, I need to be alone for a while." Yuuma told her.

"A-Alright…" Asuka nodded before she reluctantly leaves the room and meet up with her friends.

"You know, I have to agree with that girl with the sword. You really let them play you like a fool." Ankh stated coldly with a smirk.

Yuuma choose to ignore him as he lay down on his bed to rest. As he was lying on the bed, his mind was still thinking on the fact that three of the girls he met turned out to be evil shinobi and are the enemy to his friends of Hanzo Academy.

"Man...just how did it turn out like this?" Yuuma said in wondering as he falls asleep.

(Meanwhile at Hebijo)

After Mirai and Hikage had returned to Hebijo Academy, Haruka is treating the injuries Mirai had received after her defeat against Yagyu.

"There all done." Haruka said as she finished treating Mirai's injuries.

"Thank you, Haruka. Man I swear that girl, next time I'm going to pay her back for this humiliation." Mirai growls as she plans on making Yagyu pay.

"Don't worry, I have no doubt you will, my dear Mirai. But anyway, how was your time with Yuuma-kun?" Haruka asked.

Mirai's cheeks blushed when she said that before she looks away from her as she scratches her finger on her cheek.

"W-Well I guess he wasn't so bad...for a guy." Mirai answered which made Haruka chuckled in amusement.

"Anyway, now that your wounds are treated, we need to go, Suzune-sensei wants to see us." Homura told them.

"Fine." Mirai and Haruka said before they all leave the room together.

Homura, Mirai, Haruka, Hikage, and Yomi were now in Suzune's room as they were kneeling in front of the latter.

"You wanted to see us, sensei?" Homura asked.

"I'm glad that you're all here. I have a mission for you five." Suzune told them.

"A mission ma'am? What kind is it?" Homura asked.

Suzune soon begins to tell the details of their mission and objectives.

(Next day)

Yuuma, and their shinobi friends were now in Hanzo Academy's training room to further improve themselves, while Ankh was doing some more research in the Academy's archives room.

Kiriya was overseeing them as Asuka was hanging upside down on the ceiling while swing her sword, Katsuragi was standing in front of a large daruma doll to ready herself to break it, Yuuma sparring with Ikaruga, and Yagyu sparring with Hibari.

Hibari is seen charging at Yagyu to punch at her, but Yagyu blocks her punches with ease using her umbrella as a shield.

"Keep your eyes on your opponent." Yagyu said as she gently pushes Hibari back which made her fall to the floor.

Hibari then turns to her side.

"Let's take a little break, Yagyu-chan." Hibari requested.

"I can't believe you're already exhausted." Yagyu said.

"It's so scary. Those girls could attack us again." Hibari said in worry.

"Don't worry. Hibari…" Yagyu said as she placed her umbrella on her shoulder and turns to the ceiling. "I'll protect you."

That made Hibari smiles in relief to hear that.

"Hey, you!" Kiriya exclaims at Hibari which made her flinch in fright. "Don't slack off! Get on your feet right now! The enemy won't let you catch your breath in a real battle!"

"H-Hai!" Hibari said as she immediately jumps on her feet.

As Hibari punches at Yagyu again as she was blocking her punches with her umbrella, Kiriya was still deep in thought about the Hebijo ninjas that had attacked them and had made contact with Yuuma.

'Those girls said they're from the Hebijo Academy for girls. And to think they made contact with Yuuma. All they're doing is provoking us without fighting seriously. But why? I may not yet know what they're really after, but one thing is clear.' Kiriya thought.

Katsuragi soon jumps above the daruma doll and drops an axe kick on top of it to break it in half before she lands on her feet.

'I must train my girls and Yuuma, so they can fight the enemy an equal footing as soon as possible.' Kiriya thought.

"Katsu-nee! You're...so...intense!" Asuka said as she was watching as she training.

Katsuragi then turns to her with a serious look.

"We've got no clue when those snakes will come after us again. I have to become much, much stronger!" Katsuragi stated as she turns and walks away.

"Oh? I think you're plenty strong already." Asuka said before she accidently let's go of her sword as it falls to the floor.

Katsuragi was now standing in front of several more large daruma dolls, before she remembers her defeat against Hikage and her words to her.

"You're such a pushover."

"His blood was really sweat."

Katsuragi rage and jealousy increases as she jumps at the dolls and breaks them with a flying kick.

'I won't lose. I have to become stronger! I will become stronger!' Katsuragi said as she remembers her parents and Yuuma's kindness as he comfort her of her sadness.

'Katsuragi, is certainly giving it her all. But how is Yuuma doing.' Kiriya thought, before he turns to Yuuma and Ikaruga as she was swinging her bokken at Yuuma as he parrying her attacks but was being pushed back by the force of her attacks.

"What's wrong with you, Yuuma? You're holding back on me." Ikaruga stated.

"I'm sorry. I guess I'm still thinking about those girls." Yuuma told her.

"Are you now?" Ikaruga asked as the others heard that as well.

"Yeah, I just don't want to believe that they're completely evil. I just can't." Yuuma said.

"I see. But you should believe it!" Ikaruga said as she used that chance to swing her bokken at his legs sending Yuuma falling to the floor, as Yuuma sits up Ikaruga points her bokken in front of his face. "If I was one of them and if this was a real battle, you would already be dead."

Ikaruga then moves her sword away from his face and reach out his hand to him, and Yuuma grabs onto her hand as she helps him stand back up.

"I know, you don't have to tell me." Yuuma said.

"Honestly, Yuuma, I know how naive and trusting you are to most people, but you can't let that blind you to the truth." Ikaruga said. "Those three were never your friends. They were just deceiving you to earn your trust, just so they could betray you later on. That's just who they are."

"But still, I just don't want to believe that. I want to believe there was another reason for that." Yuuma stated, which made Ikaruga sighs.

"Fine, then believe what you want to believe. Just don't blame me if you'll regret it later on." Ikaruga told him.

"I will." Yuuma nodded.

"Alright, I think that will be enough training." Kiriya said getting their attention as they turned to him. "You're free to take a 30-minute break."

"Hai." They said before they leave the room together.

(Meanwhile)

Homura and her Crimson Squad had infiltrated Hanzo Academy as they enter the school's grounds wearing the uniform.

Hikage is seen walking by a tennis court as the tennis team is practicing on it.

Watching the regular students on top of the school's roof, were Yomi and Haruka.

"Not a single care in the world. Yet despite how easy their lives are, they keep complaining, as if they were entitled to everything. Look at all those spoiled brats. They almost make me want to puke." Yomi stated.

"They seem like they'd make wonderful dolls. Too bad I'm not allowed to lay my hands on them." Haruka said. "Oh well, at least I'll have Hibari-chan and sweet little Yuuma-kun to play with."

"So you still have your eyes set on him." Yomi said as she turns to her.

"Oh come on, Yomi. You're still a little on edge because of Yuuma-kun being the son of a politician? You once told me you enjoy the time you spent with him." Haruka said.

"That was then, and this is now." Yomi said as she turns away from her, and Haruka sighed as she shrugged.

Yomi closes her eyes as she remembers Yuuma's words to her when they first met.

"Well I've travel most of the world, and I eat all sorts of foods, and they were quite good as well. And in most of those places I eaten with a bunch of different people and for some reason the food tasted even better when we eat together. And there were a few places where I often share the food with some strangers and with that food will become even better. That's when I learned the importance of sharing food, because it will be even better if we all eat together."

"Honestly, I can't believe I'd let him won me over like that. He doesn't know what it truly means to live in poverty and experience true hunger." Yomi said.

Both Homura and Mirai were in different parts of the academy as they were walking through the hallway that connects the school as they walked past the regular students of the school who were walking in the opposite direction.

"We need to locate the classrooms of the light shinobi first." Homura told her.

"Why did they set up a shinobi training center inside a normal prep school? Makes looking for it a real pain in the ass." Mirai stated in annoyance.

"Just as trees are best hidden in a forest, students are best hidden in a school." Homura stated as she and Mirai stops in front of a stairway. "Apparently the light faction prefers to approach things a roundabout manner."

"Hmph! If they keep running around in circles, they might find themselves trapped in a maze soon." Mirai stated.

(Meanwhile, at Hebijo Academy)

As the 5 elite students of Hebijo had infiltrated Hanzo Academy, Suzune is in the headmaster's room as she was kneeling in front of the latter.

"Our five students have successfully infiltrated Hanzo Academy." Suzune told him.

"They're our pride and joy. Infiltrating a school should be a piece of cake for them. The real challenge is..." Dogen said.

"Yes, sir. They have to locate Hanzo Academy's concealed classrooms and find the super-secret ninja art scroll inside." Suzune said.

"And you're sure it's hidden there, right?" Dogen asked.

"No doubt about it." Suzune told him.

"I'm not doubting you. After all, nobody but you would have gathered that information in the first place." Dogen said.

"Correct." Suzune said.

"But we dark ones must always dwell in the deepest shadows. Taking public action risks bringing us to light." Dogen stated.

"I'm sure our girls are keeping that in mind." Suzune said.

"Don't let me down, Suzune." Dogen told her.

"I won't, sir." Suzune said.

(Back with Yuuma and his friends)

After they're break was now over, Yuuma and his friends were now in the main room of their classroom. Yuuma was seated on the other side of the room as he was stretching out his arms.

"Man, training with Ikaruga can sure be tough sometimes." Yuuma said.

"But thanks to that, you've become a little stronger." Yuuma turns and saw Ankh walking towards him as he was eating his usual popsicle.

"Oh hey, Ankh. I guess, you're done in that archives room?" Yuuma asked the Greeed.

"Well I think I learn all I can on shinobis in that room. No doubt it will prove useful." Ankh stated before he saw the others on the other side of the room.

Asuka and her shinobi classmates were seated in front of Kiriya as he was standing in front of them, as he was explaining ninja arts to them.

"Oi, Yuuma. What are they doing?" Ankh asked.

"Hmm…" Yuuma said as he turns to them as well. "Oh, Kiriya-sensei is teaching the bases of ninja arts to them. But I've sort of lost track of it, and decided to sit over here as he goes on."

"I guess that's no surprise from you." Ankh said as he walked a few feet closer to them to listen more closely to learn about this.

"Ninja arts are based on your mental abilities. Your body is merely a tool used to execute them. But you can only learn skills when your body is powerful enough to keep up with your mind." Kiriya said.

'What the heck is he saying?' Ankh thought as all of this was confusing to him.

"For example, when you're standing on the ground with your own two legs, you should be able to draw power from the rigidity of the Earth's core in which…" Kiriya said.

As he was going on, Hibari nodded by each word as the others listen carefully but Asuka started to fall asleep, and Katsuragi was starting to fall asleep as well as she falls to the floor.

"Hey!" Kiriya shouted which made Asuka and Hibari to flinch.

"I'm sorry!" Asuka said as she woke up.

But his eyes were mostly set on Katsuragi was she was snoring.

"Katsuragi!" Kiriya shouted which made Katsuragi to wake up as she lifts up her head.

"Huh? It's lunch time already?" Katsuragi asked.

"Katsu-nee!" Asuka and Hibari said while Ikaruga and Yagyu sighs in disappointment, while Yuuma chuckles.

"Idiot! Go hang in the hallway!" Kiriya ordered her.

After checking out the entire school grounds, Homura and her teammates were now standing in front of where the Academy's ninja classroom is hidden.

"We've checked everywhere else. This is the only place left." Haruka told them.

"The building looks quite old." Yomi stated.

"Apparently it's no longer used. They left it standing because it's a part of the school's heritage." Homura told them.

Mirai saw the sign as it said.

"'No unauthorized entry.'" Mirai said which made her smile in excitement. "How fishy. I can almost smell it. This just reeks of light shinobi."

(Meanwhile)

Katsuragi is now hanging on the ceiling with a piece of rope tied around her ankles, and while holding two buckets filled with water in her hands.

"Making me hang in the hallway for dozing off in class is overdoing it." Katsuragi said before she saw the sunny weather outside through the windows of the hallway. "The weather's awesome today, though. Makes me want to run around outside. Yeah, to really run around like I did back then."

Katsuragi then remembers her memories as a child, and how she used to play outside with her pet dog Choco. But also remembers how her parents left her to protect their daughter, after they failed in their mission and had to become rogue shinobis. Remembers, how she promised to them and to herself that she'll become the most powerful shinobi to help make up for her parents' failure and flight, allowing them to return to her.

"Again." Katsuragi said with a frown. "I had to think if it again. Jeez."

She then remembers Yuuma's words to her after she told him about that.

"Katsu, I don't think you should give up that your parents are still out there. I mean the only reason you have come this far, as a student of Hanzo, is because you still have hope that you'll be with them again. And besides you won't know until you actually see them or hear anything about what happened to them, at least that's what I think."

That causes Katsuragi's cheeks to turn red.

"Honestly, that Yuuma he really has a way with words." Katsuragi mutters to herself before she remembers her second meeting with Hikage and how she pointed a knife at Yuuma, that made Katsuragi to narrow her eyes as she tightens her hold on the buckets. "I won't let it happen again. I'm not going to lose anyone I care about, ever again."

(Back with Homura and the others)

Homura and her teammates soon enter the old school building.

"We're here to attack them, so let's get moving." Hikage stated.

"If this actually is their headquarters, we won't be able to get in easily." Haruka said.

"Then what should we do?" Yomi asked.

Haruka chuckles as she turns to her.

"We'll get rid of the biggest obstacle first." Haruka told her and the others.

"Hey, stop being so cryptic." Homura said.

"Don't worry. We'll have them stripped down soon enough." Haruka said as she chuckles before the alarms started to go off.

The alarms reach the main classroom, which surprised most of them, as Asuka falls on her rear and Yagyu hugs onto the scared Hibari.

"What's that?" Asuka asked.

"What the heck is that annoying sound?!" Ankh exclaimed as he and Yuuma covered their ears.

"Is this some sort of fire drill?" Yuuma asked.

"It's the intruder alarm!" Ikaruga told them.

"Intruder alarm?" Asuka said.

"Wait, wouldn't that mean there's an intruder here?" Yuuma asked.

"Of course it does, you moron!" Ankh told him.

"Who is it?" Hibari asked in fright of an intruder in their school, as Yagyu held her closer.

After turning off the alarms, Kiriya soon brought out a periscope to look through the building's camera systems, and saw two normal students had entered the building through the main doors.

"Just regular students, apparently." Kiriya told them as he puts away the scope.

"Regular students?" Asuka said.

"Ah, what a relief." Hibari said in relief.

"Yeah, with you on that." Yuuma said in agreement.

"Anyway, you kids stay here. I'll go handle this." Kiriya said as he leaves the room.

Katsuragi wonders what that alarm was about and if there were actually intruders in the building, before she saw Kiriya walking to her.

"Sensei, is it just regular students skipping class again?" Katsuragi asked.

"Looks that way." Kiriya answered as he walks past her. "Katsuragi, you're done. Get back to the classroom."

"Got it." Katsuragi nodded before she turns away from him to hide her cheeky smile. "Hehehe, whoever they are, I should thank them for getting me off the hook early!"

Katsuragi then flips and lands back on the floor without spilling even a drop of water from the buckets in her hand.

The two regular students were sitting on the floor, before Kiriya appeared as he walks to them.

"What are you two doing here?" Kiriya asked as he stops and the two students turn to him. "You know this area is off-limit, right? Are you skipping class?"

They didn't answer as they stare at him.

"Cat got your tongue?" Kiriya asked before the two regular students stand up and faced him.

They soon charged and attack the shinobi teacher, but Kiriya attacks them first by punching them in the abdomens and soon grabs hold of them by the collar of their shirts as he lifts them off of their feet.

"Jeez, reckless punks." Kiriya said he carries them outside and throws them to the ground as they land on their rears. "Name and year? Let chance to talk before I take you to the faculty office."

The two regular students falls on the ground, which made Kiriya to knelt down and check on them, but as he touched one of their heads, their faces turned to him revealing they weren't students at all but were actually human shape puppets in disguise.

"Puppet!" Kiriya gasped in shock before he turns to the old school building. "Don't tell me…"

He soon saw that the entire building is covered by a Shinobi Kekkai.

Yuuma and his friends saw this as the room around them turns blue.

"Hey, isn't this…" Katsuragi said as she just arrived in the classroom.

"Huh? What's going on?" Asuka asked.

"A Shinobi Kekkai!" Ikaruga said.

"A Kekkai? Wait, wouldn't that mean that a shinobi is behind this?" Yuuma said.

"Yeah, it seems like it." Ankh said as he brought out his Greeed Arm.

"But who's behind this?" Asuka said in wonder.

Yagyu quickly stands up and runs out of the room.

"Yagyu-chan!" Hibari said.

"Yagyu!" Katsuragi said as her underclassman runs past her.

"Yagyu-chan! Yagyu-chan!" Hibari calls out.

"Let's go!" Katsuragi told her friends.

Yuuma and his friends left the classroom together to follow Yagyu, as they were in the hallway they saw that the Kekkai had completely covered the entire building.

"The old school building...No, the entire campus is inside a Shinobi Kekkai!" Ikaruga said before they stopped in the middle of the hallway they were in.

"Don't be ridiculous. No one could put up a barrier that huge." Katsuragi stated.

"No one could do it alone. But if several shinobi create barriers at the same time, they can be linked together." Ikaruga told them.

"Is that really possible?" Yagyu asked.

"I read somewhere that a few shinobi have the skills to do it. For instance, someone who has mastered puppetry." Ikaruga stated, which reminded them about a puppet master who had send puppets to attacked them weeks ago.

"Puppetry...Perhaps it's the same one who attacked us?" Hibari said.

"Then shinobi from Hebijo Academy for girls are coming after us?" Asuka said.

"Wait, so Yomi, Hikage, and Mirai-chan, are behind this?" Yuuma asked.

"It's highly possible. The intruders earlier must've been decoys to get rid of Kiriya-sensei!" Ikaruga concluded.

(Outside)

"It's a surprise attack!" Kiriya said as he gritted his teeth. "The dark faction took us by surprise!"

(Back inside)

Ankh then attempted to open one of the windows but it couldn't even budge, Ankh then attempts to punch the window with his Greeed Arm but it didn't break.

"Guess, we can't escape through the windows." Ankh said as he walks away from it. "Whoever is behind this, wants to keep us inside of this building."

"Seems like it. Do any of you girls know a way to get us out of here?" Yuuma asked.

"There should be a shinobi linking the barriers together somewhere. If we can defeat her, the link between the barriers around the school will be undone." Ikaruga told him and the others.

"Sounds good to me!" Katsuragi said as she punches her fist on her other hand. "Let's find her and kick her ass!"

"Yagyu-chan…" Hibari said in worry as she hugs onto Yagyu and Yagyu held her close.

"It will be alright. I'll protect you." Yagyu assured her.

"Everyone!" Ikaruga said as she turns to her classmates and Ankh. "Prepare for battle!"

"Shinobi Tenshin!"

They nodded in agreement, as the shinobi students changed into their shinobi battle uniforms, Yuuma brought out and puts on his Driver and soon inserted the Core Medals into it and soon scanned them.

"Henshin!" Yuuma said as he transforms into OOO.

After they had transformed, Katsuragi jumps forward in the hallway as she calls out to the enemy.

"Where the hell are you?! Come out and fight!" Katsuragi calls out.

"Katsuragi-san!" Ikaruga calls out which made her to stop as she turns to her.

"What now?" Katsuragi asked.

"We're trapped inside of the enemy's barrier. Running off unprepared could cost you your head." Ikaruga told her.

"But just sitting on our asses won't get us anywhere!" Katsuragi stated.

"And neither will falling into the enemy's trap. You muscle head gorilla." Ankh said as he rubs his finger in his ear.

"What was that?!" Katsuragi exclaims as she was about to rushed to Ankh to give him a piece of her mind, as OOO holds her back as he placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Katsu, calm down! He didn't mean it like that!" OOO told her.

"You know, you could've acted a little concern. You're trapped in here as well." Asuka told the Greeed.

"And why should I?" Ankh asked as he pulls out his finger and blows on it. "It's not like I'll be getting any Medals from this."

Asuka narrow her eyes at the Greeed for saying that.

"In anycase, we need to figure out what they're planning first." Ikaruga said as she brought out her sword.

(Meanwhile)

In a separate Kekkai, Haruka was spying on them with a smile on her first.

"It's showtime." Haruka as she snapped her fingers.

(Back with the others)

They soon saw several puppets dressed in ninja outfits appearing out of the ceiling above them.

"Here they come." Asuka said.

The puppets soon falls to them to attack them. Katsuragi destroys one of them by smashing her leg into its head, which frighten the others and she lands an upward kick in front of another puppet to cut it in half.

Ikaruga draws out her sword as she dashed through several of the puppets, destroying them as they dissipated into nothingness.

Yagyu blocks against several of the puppets using her umbrella as a shield.

Another group of the puppet change up on Hibari, as she punches them away.

"Stay away from me!" Hibari demanded.

Asuka cuts down several puppets with both of her swords, and OOO did the same as uses his Tora Claws, while Ankh dodges their attacks with ease as he punches them with his Greeed Arm.

As Asuka lands near to OOO and Ankh, they soon found that the landscape they were on has completely changed.

They were now in a Japanese feudal battle with battle flags around them, with samurai armor on the ground with katanas stabbed into the ground as well.

"Huh? Where are the others?" Asuka said as she saw that the others were gone.

"And where exactly are we?" OOO said as he looks around.

(With Katsuragi)

Katsuragi found herself in a familiar environment as she saw monstrous heads and skulls around her.

"The Kekkai! What's going on?" Katsuragi said.

(With Hibari)

Hibari found herself all alone in a pink Kekkai, filled with floating ribbons, fruits and desserts around her.

"Yagyu-chan? Yagyu-chan!" Hibari calls out.

(With Yagyu)

Yagyu found herself standing on an old foreign tank, on a ruined battlefield with destroyed buildings as snow falls around her.

"Hibari? Hibari!" Yagyu calls out.

(With Ikaruga)

Ikaruga was in a dark Kekkai with floating bean sprouts all around her.

"We let our guard down. They only used those puppets to separate us." Ikaruga said before she heard chuckling behind her which her turned around.

"Rich kids are so naive." Said Yomi as she was standing behind her.

"So you're behind this." Ikaruga said.

"Greetings, little princess." Yomi said before Ikaruga notices that she was wearing the Hanzo Academy uniform.

"That uniform...You're quite daring to infiltrate the academy." Ikaruga said.

Yomi then looks at the uniform she was wearing.

"I'm not surprised an academy for rich girls issues uniforms this pleasing to the touch." Yomi stated.

"Answer me! What can you hope to accomplish with this attack?" Ikaruga asked, which made Yomi to turn back at her.

"I don't like your condescending attitude." Yomi stated as Ikaruga fully turns to her as she holds her sword with both hands. "I'll tell you...as long as you can defeat me."

"Shinobi Tenshin!" Yomi said as she changes into her shinobi battle uniform and brought out her large sword as she swings it down at Ikaruga, who dodges it by jumping away.

Yomi jumps again at her and swung her sword at her, and Ikaruga dodges it again by jumping backwards, and the force of Yomi's attack made a large crack on the ground.

"So powerful!" Ikaruga said. "If that hits me, it's over!"

Yomi jumps at Ikaruga again to attack her with her sword as she dodges it.

"You dislike fighting because you hate breaking a sweat?" Yomi asked as she slashes at her again as Ikaruga dodges it. "You're still a spoiled little princess!"

Yomi lifts up her skirt and soon several bombs fall out of it as they fly towards Ikaruga before they exploded in front of her.

(With Yagyu)

Yagyu is seen running on the streets of the ruined town to search for Hibari and for a way out of here.

"Where'd they take Hibari?" Yagyu wonders out loud. "Where'd they take her?"

Yagyu then saw Mirai running beside as she caught up with her.

"I won't hold back this time. Shinobi Tenshin!" Mirai said before she jumps in front of Yagyu as she changes into her shinobi battle uniform.

But Yagyu ignored her as she ran past her, much to Mirai's displeasure as she turns to her.

"Don't you ignore me!" Mirai shouted as she lands on the ground and fired bullets at Yagyu using her umbrella, and Yagyu simples outruns the bullets as she still runs forward.

"Hibari?! Where are you?!" Yagyu calls out.

"Stop ignoring me!" Mirai said in annoyance as she lifts up her umbrella gun.

(With Katsuragi)

Katsuragi is seen wandering throughout the Shinobi Kekkai to look for the user.

"Stop hiding and come on out! Let's settle this fair and square!" Katsuragi calls out before she heard railroad signals behind her, before she turns around saw Hikage standing behind as she was behind a railroad track wearing her shinobi combat uniform.

"I'm here, aren't I?" Hikage asked.

"You're…" Katsuragi said as she glared at her, and she remembers her first battle and lost against her and how she pointed a knife at Yuuma.

Katsuragi gritted her teeth.

"So you're my opponent?!" Katsuragi said.

"I've been ordered to fight you, so that's what I'll do." Hikage told her.

Katsuragi then smiles.

"I'm glad you're my opponent." Katsuragi stated which made Hikage to blink in confusion. "This means I can pay you back for the last time right away!"

Katsuragi soon jumps at Hikage to attack her, but then a black train appeared in front of her as it runs down the track between them.

Katsuragi then kicks on the train to stop it in its track, but Hikage used that chance to sneak up behind her while sticking out her tongue.

Katsuragi soon notice that as she turns to her.

"You little…" Katsuragi said as she spins around to kick at her, but Hikage dodges it by jumping over her.

"I don't get it." Hikage said as she lands on the train. "Why are you getting so fired up?"

Katsuragi gritted her teeth before she remembers the day her parents left her behind and Yuuma's words to her when she told him.

"You can't win…" Katsuragi stated as she jumps and kicks at Hikage. "It you stay impassive all the time!"

Hikage brought out her knife as she jumps towards Katsuragi as well to stab her with it, and the two fly past each other before they land on the ground.

But a cut appeared on Katsuragi's shoulder as her sleeve was cut opened revealing it, and Hikage quickly moves up behind her to placed her knife by her face.

"It's skills that bring victory, you know?" Hikage stated.

"When did she…" Katsuragi said in shock by how quick she was.

"I didn't get whatever you were talking about." Hikage stated which made Katsuragi to grit her teeth.

(With OOO, Asuka and Ankh)

OOO, Asuka, and Ankh still continues to look around the area to look to see if any of their friends were around.

"Everyone is…" Asuka said.

"I hope they're alright." OOO said in worry for them as well.

"You two seem well." Said a familiar voice for the both of them.

They turned around and to their shock, it was Homura wearing their school's uniform as she was waving at them.

"Homura-chan?!" OOO and Asuka gasped in shock before they turned to each other. "Wait, you know her too?"

"Thank you for looking out for me back then." Homura told them.

"Wait, if you're here…" OOO mutters.

"Then wouldn't that mean…" Asuka said as she was having the same conclusion as OOO.

"Don't get all flustered. You're a shinobi too, aren't you Asuka? And not even you aren't that dumb, Hino." Homura stated.

"B-But...Why?" Asuka asked.

"I wanted to get close at how strong you two really are." Homura told them.

"How strong?" OOO repeated.

"After all," Homura set her eyes on Asuka. "You're the granddaughter of the legendary shinobi." She then looks at OOO. "And I wanted to see what a real life Kamen Rider is capable of."

This further shocked the both of them, before Homura brought out her scroll.

"Shinobi Tenshin." Homura said as she changes into her shinobi combat uniform armed with a single sword.

"I'm Homura, one of the five-star pupils at the secret Hebijo Academy for girls. Pleased to make your acquaintance again." Homura said.

"I never would've guessed you're from the dark faction!" Asuka said.

"I don't believe it." OOO mutters in shock.

"Back then you were so weak, I didn't even bother drawing my katana. And for you Hino, I was under orders to observe you. But today I mean business." Homura said as she pulls out her sword from its sheath.

Asuka soon did the same as she brought out her katanas.

"Yuuma-kun, Ankh, don't interfere." Asuka told them, which surprised OOO as he and Ankh turns to her. "This is a battle between shinobi, so I'm sorry to say you have no right to meddle in this."

"Well I can take on the both of you, but I guess you have a point there." Homura said.

" But Asuka-chan, this isn't right." OOO told her, before Asuka felt Homura's strong killer aura.

'Such an intense killing intent.' Asuka thought.

Homura soon jumps at Asuka and Asuka pushes OOO away from her, as she narrowly dodges Homura stab at her.

"Are you shivering?" Homura asked.

As the both of them turned at each other, Homura lands a slash in front of Asuka's chest ripping up her shirt as she cries out in pain as Homura lands another slash as Asuka falls to the ground.

"Asuka-chan!" OOO said as he was about to run to stop this before Ankh stops him as he placed his arm in front of him. "Get out of my, Ankh!"

"There's no point interfering Yuuma." Ankh told him. "Besides, she has a point, since you're not a shinobi like those two, you don't have the right to stop this. Besides, it's like we'll get any Medals from this."

"Even so, those girls are my friends! I can't just stand by and watch them kill each other." OOO said.

"How pitiful!" OOO looks and saw Homura charging at her to slash at her again.

"You're the legendary shinobi's granddaughter, aren't you?! You should at least try to live up to his name!" Homura stated.

"Th-That's right. I am…" Asuka said as she quickly dodges Homura's attack by jumping backwards.

"You won't get away!" Homura said as she jumps to her.

"...His granddaughter!" Asuka said as Homura was now in front of her.

"Get ready!" Homura said.

"Asuka-chan!" OOO said in worry.

"I'm not going down here!" Asuka shouted as a red aura appears around as her uniform turns to shreds leaving only her swimsuit on as she charges and slashes at Homura with both of her sword which she blocks in time.

"Oh? So you switched to Mortal Combat mode all of a sudden? I like it. At least now you're trying hard enough to take off your clothes." Homura said.

'Homura-chan...I thought you were a real nice person. And that we could be friends.' Asuka thought as the memories she made with Homura flashed through her mind.

"Homura-chan!" Asuka shouted as they both land on the ground still locking their swords against each other.

"You're so ridiculously naive!" Homura stated as she manages to overpower Asuka as she sent her flying and Homura jumps to her. "If we're ordered to, we mercilessly slaughter even your friends and families. That's what it means to be a shinobi."

Homura swings her sword at Asuka, and Asuka blocks her attack using both of her swords.

"That's not true!" Asuka said as she lands on the ground before Homura vanishes.

Asuka looks around her before Homura appeared behind her, and slashed at her, but Asuka dodges it and kicks at Homura's sword knocking it out of her hand.

"I did it?" Asuka said as she stands up and face Homura.

"Alright. Hopefully, with that, Homura will stop now." OOO said.

"Don't be so sure about that." Ankh told him.

Homura smirks as she chuckles before she turns to Asuka, and then five more swords appeared on her back, and she pulls them out holding them between her fingers, with two on her right and three on her left.

"Looks like I can finally get serious with you." Homura said, seeing those swords surprised OOO and Asuka.

(Meanwhile)

Hibari was looking around the Kekkai she was in and for some reason it felt familiar to her.

"It feels like...I've been here before." Hibari said before she turns around and saw Haruka behind her as she was sitting on top of a large floating feather.

"Welcome!" Haruka greeted her.

"W-Who are you?" Hibari asked.

"You're so adorable. You're like a fluffy bunny caught in a trap." Haruka said in a loving tone.

Hibari took a step back as she recognizes her now.

"I remember now! I saw you back then!" Hibari said as she remembers meeting her after she and the others were first attack by puppets. "Then you're the puppet master?"

"There's no reason to be afraid. Come over here, my cute little bunny." Haruka requested as she reached out her hand to her.

'I-I need to defeat her.' Hibari thought before she placed both hands on her chest. 'Please, everyone lend me your strength.'

"Shinobi Tenshin!" Haruka said before she changes into her shinobi combat uniform.

(With Yagyu)

Yagyu was now at the edge of the Kekkai she was now as she touch it.

"Looks like Hibari is inside a different barrier." Yagyu said before she saw several bullets shooting around her.

Mirai was standing behind her as she was panting while leaning on her umbrella gun.

"That was quite the chase! But I've got you now!" Mirai said, before Yagyu eyed on her.

"I might be able to enter the other barriers if I defeat her." Yagyu said.

"Don't ignore me!" Mirai exclaims as she swings her arms up and down.

Yagyu pointed her umbrella at Mirai which made the latter to flinch before she acted calm and rubs her hand on her umbrella gun.

"Looks like you're finally ready to fight." Mirai concluded.

"I'm in a hurry. Do me a favor and lose right away." Yagyu told her.

"You ignored me this long, and those are your first words to me? You'll pay for this!" Mirai said as she lifts up her skirt.

"Hidden Ninpo…" Mirai soon reveals a large machine gun from her skirt and aims at Yagyu. "Walkure! I'll definitely make you pay!"

Yagyu remains calm as she opens her umbrella.

(Meanwhile)

Outside of the old school house, Kiriya was looking at the two inactive puppets that were used to draw him outside as a distraction.

'True, they were disguised as students, but I still can't believe that intruders slipped this easily.' Kiriya thought as he would be impressed if the intruders weren't here to cause trouble.

"There's a whole network of shinobi sensors setup within the school." Kiriya looks and saw a black cat behind him as it was on top of a tree branch. "Getting past the surveillance unnoticed is no simple task. I'm sure you've realized that someone must've shown the infiltrators how to get in. And it must've been a current or former member of the light faction."

Kiriya gritted his teeth before the cat turns around and disappeared. Kiriya turns back to the old school house to enter but the barrier prevented him from doing so.

(Back with OOO and Asuka)

Asuka and Homura still continues to fight against each other as they clashed their swords, as OOO and Ankh still continues to watch them as OOO was worried for the both of them.

They eventually by one of Homura's sword as it was in the ground before Homura kicks it at Asuka, and Asuka deflected the attack back at her but Homura catches it in her hands and soon she was holding all six of her swords in both hands.

Homura grins as she swings three of her swords at Asuka, and she manages to block her attack but Homura swings the other three at her and Asuka blocks that as well but Homura uses that chance to knee strike on Asuka's stomach, sending her rolling on the ground.

"Asuka-chan!" OOO said in worry.

"That's all you've got?!" Homura asked, and Asuka soon stands back up.

"I've got plenty more!" Asuka told her. "Hidden Ninpo…"

Wind begins to gather around Asuka before she flies into the air before the spirit of the frog appeared behind her.

"Nito Ryozan!" Asuka shouted as she unleashed a twin energy slash at Homura.

But Homura withstood as she was still standing as sher clothes were destroyed leaving only her black bikini. Homura smirks at Asuka as she was a little impressed by her attack.

"Not bad at all." Homura said.

"No way…" OOO mutters in shock.

"My Hidden Ninpo had no effect?! How's that possible?!" Asuka said in shock.

"That's nothing compared to what I endured during training!" Homura stated as she charges at Asuka and lands an upward slash on her, Asuka cries out in pain as her aura diminished and while falling to the ground.

"Asuka-chan!" OOO shouted in worry as Homura was looking down on her.

"It should be obvious to you by now, but someone as naive as you doesn't stand a chance against us." Homura told her.

"A-Are all the girls in Hebijo Academy this strong?" Asuka asked as she slowly sits back up. "Will...Will the others be okay?"

"You're still worrying about your comrades? That's what makes you naive! You can depend on nobody but yourself!" Homura scolded her, as Asuka stands on her feet.

"Is that really how you want to live?" Asuka asked.

"Nani?" Homura said.

"You'll be all alone if you follow your own advice." Asuka stated.

"She's right." Homura and Asuka soon saw OOO walking in between them to face Homura and to protect Asuka. "Would that really make you happy?"

"Yuuma-kun...What are you doing?" Asuka asked.

"I'm sorry, Asuka-chan, but I can't stand by and let this go on." OOO told her.

"Fine by me." Homura said which made OOO turned back to the evil Shinobi. "I've been itching to fight you for a while now. I hope you'll make a decent challenge."

"Homura-chan, let's just stop this. There's no reason for us to be fighting each other." OOO told her, but Homura clicks her tongue in hearing that.

"You too huh? Just how naive are you?!" Homura exclaims as she charges at OOO to attack with her swords.

OOO manage to dodge the first of her attacks before he dodges her next one by jumping over the Evil Shinobi as he lands behind her.

Homura soon turns at him and OOO did the same as he brought out his sword before Homura charges at him.

OOO manages to parry her sword attacks by using his own sword before he blocks Homura's swords with his own sword as the two were in even ground.

"What's wrong?! Why aren't you fighting back!" Homura exclaims.

"Homura-chan, please, I don't want to fight you!" OOO told her.

"And why is that?! I'm your enemy now!" Homura told him.

"Even so, I still think of you as my friend!" OOO told her, which surprised Homura and Asuka to hear that.

"A friend…?" Homura growls as she lowers her head. "Even though I was lying to you. Even though I'm attacking Asuka. And the fact that I showed my true self!" Homura lifts up her head as she glares at him. "You still see me as a friend?!"

"Of course I do!" OOO said. "Even if you're an evil shinobi, I know deep down that you're a good person! And I still see you as a friend!"

"Yuuma-kun…" Asuka mutters in shock, while Homura gritted her teeth as his words reminded her of the man she used to trust lied to her and betrayed her.

"Ridiculous…" Homura mutters. "Just how naive do you think I am?!"

"Eh?" OOO said before Homura charges and attack him with her swords, as he was dodging and parries her attacks.

Then the two clashed their swords against each other before Homura pushed his sword out his hand swings her swords at him, OOO dodged her attack in time as he jumps away from the evil shinobi and soon lands as he and Homura were now staring at each other as Homura was glaring at him.

"Do you really think you can trick me? Like he did?" Homura asked.

"What? What are you talking about? I'm telling the truth." OOO assured her.

"Just shut up!" Homura exclaims as she charges and swings her swords at OOO, which he manages to blocks in time using his Tora Claws. "I know you're kind, Yuuma Hino! The type of person who would spit out kind words like you and just betray people later on!"

"Homura-chan…" OOO mutters in wondering what she means by that.

"But I'm not falling for it! I know a liar when I see one! I won't let you fool me like how that man fooled me!" Homura exclaims as she pushed his sword away and lands another slash on OOO's chest to force him to stumble back and Homura lands a double slash on OOO using all six of her swords which sends OOO rolling on the ground.

"Yuuma-kun!" Asuka said in worry as she runs to check on him as OOO slowly sits up.

Homura was ready to attack him again, but something went wrong with the Kekkai was warping.

"The Kekkai?" Asuka said.

"What's going on?" Homura asked.

"Mirai has been defeated." Said a voice that was familiar to OOO. "Because she's unconscious, the link between the barriers has become unstable. It'll be difficult to maintain it."

"Wait, that voice…" OOO said as he recognizes that voice.

OOO then saw Haruka appearing out of nowhere as she walks to Homura's side and was surprised by that as well.

"Haruka?" OOO said in shock, as Haruka turns to him with a smile.

"Hello again, Yuuma-kun. Or is it OOO-kun in that armor of yours? You know this might be our first time meeting as our other selves." Haruka said.

"No way...So you were an evil shinobi as well?" OOO asked in shock.

"Yes, guilty as charged. And truth be told I was really hoping you wouldn't find out like this, but I suppose that wasn't meant to be." Haruka said as she shrugged.

"So does that mean you were lying to me this whole time?" OOO asked, and Haruka frowns as she placed her hand on her cheek.

"Well I wouldn't say that it was all a lie. I'm still quite fascinated with you. But anyway, this is where we'll part ways for now at least." Haruka said before a bright light appeared out of nowhere.

Homura clicks her tongue in annoyance.

"Guess it's time to go." Homura said before she turns to Asuka and OOO. "Someone as clueless as you two, who calls herself a shinobi and someone who calls his enemies his friends makes me want to puke!"

"I'll tell you something else." Homura said as she pointed her swords at Asuka. "You're not worthy of calling yourself the granddaughter of a legendary shinobi!"

That shook Asuka to her core before both Homura and Haruka turns to the light and they soon disappeared before the Kekkai did the same.

OOO, Ankh, and Asuka looked around and saw that they were now back in the old school as it was now back to normal. They soon saw Ikaruga appearing near to them.

"It seems the barriers vanished." Ikaruga said.

"Ikaruga/Ikaruga-san!" OOO and Asuka said in relief that she's alright.

The next to appear near to them was Katsuragi as her forehead was bleeding.

"So they got away!" Katsuragi said before OOO saw the wound on her forehead.

"Katsu!" OOO said in worry as Katsuragi sits down on the floor as OOO knelt down to her. "Are you alright? You're bleeding."

"Yeah I'm fine. It's just a scratch." Katsuragi assured him.

They soon saw Hibari and Yagyu appearing next, but with a wounded and unconscious Yagyu in Hibari's arms, as Hibari was crying.

"Hibari-chan! Yagyu-chan!" OOO said as he and the others runs to them to check on the youngest of their class.

"Yagyu-chan!" Hibari cries as this was her fault that she's hurt like this.

(Meanwhile)

After her talk with Dogen, Suzune is now taking a shower before she remembers Dogen's words to her about the Yin and Yang scrolls.

(Flashback)

"The objective of this operation is not to steal their super-secret ninja art scroll?" Dogen asked.

"That's our ultimate goal, but we need to prepare beforehand. I raised those five girls myself. There's no cause for concern." Suzune told her.

From behind his screen, Dogen opens up a box on his desk to reveal the Yin Scroll in it.
