CHAPTER ONE

Hallie's life has been one constant adventure after another. Within her heart lies connections to many people spanning across worlds, dimensions, and even time. Those ties lead to people who had suffered greatly in order for her to be where she is today, who had suffered immensely from the actions of her ruthless and mad grandfather, Master Xehanort. Fate had chosen her to become guardian of the Light, destined to battle against the forces of darkness and stop it from covering the universe. She was fortunate that she didn't have to bear this crushing burden by herself; she had her friends to lift it with her. It began when she arrived in a world called Hollow Bastion, a world once named Radiant Garden before it was consumed by darkness, where she met three unique boys: Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Sora and Hallie had some special similarities between the two. Not only were their hearts tied to those from the distant past, they were also chosen wielders of the mystical Keyblade, a weapon that could be used to either protect the light or conquer the darkness.

They were not the only wielders. The Keyblade was once wielded by thousands of people long ago, who clashed against one another in a brutal and bloody struggle known as the Keyblade War. The Keyblade was passed down throughout the ages until it fell into the hands of Master Xehanort. From her somewhat "noble" birthright through her grandfather and her mother, as well as her strength of heart, Hallie received the power of the Keyblade. Countless others today wield the Keyblade along with Hallie and Sora, including friends of Sora, Riku and Kairi, and King Mickey.

But the wielders that peaked Hallie's curiosity the most were three people who lived twelve years ago: Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. They trained under the watchful eye of Master Eraqus in a world called the Land of Departure. Also within their sight was Master Xehanort. Out of the three, only Aqua attained Keyblade Master rank. The story of these three friends brought great grief and anger to Hallie's soul when she thought about it. These best friends were driven apart and faced terrible fates from the hand of Xehanort: Aqua was banished to the Realm of Darkness after sacrificing herself to save Terra. Terra's body and heart had been taken over by Xehanort's heart, he became an apprentice under Ansem the Wise in Radiant Garden, created the Heartless species, and became a Heartless and Nobody himself to continue his research, as well as sacrificing many others in the process. Ventus, the youngest of the three, was a victim of Xehanort's lust for Kingdom Hearts. Xehanort sought to create the χ-blade, Kingdom Hearts' counterpart, through Ventus, but when he saw the boy wasn't strong enough to do so, Xehanort forcefully extracted the darkness from Ventus's heart, turning it into his new apprentice, Vanitas, and damaging Ventus's heart. In the end, Ventus had to fight against Vanitas. He destroyed Vanitas and the χ-blade, but his heart was damaged once again. His heart rests inside Sora, and his body sleeps within a room called the Chamber of Waking, placed in there by Aqua. Supposedly, the room is only able to be accessed by Aqua, since she created the room through Master Eraqus's Keyblade, yet Hallie once found herself within its walls, and the reasons are still unknown to her.

Sora, Hallie, Riku, and Kairi now have a mission to find the three lost Keyblade wielders and prepare to battle against Xehanort in an inevitable second Keyblade War; to fight for the protection of the worlds and Kingdom Hearts from falling into the old man's clutches.

Every day since Hallie and her friends lived in Destiny Islands- long-time home to Sora, Riku, and Kairi- Hallie thought endlessly about these three Keyblade wielders. She had the opportunity to meet them throughout her first journey. As stated before, Hallie met Ventus's comatose body when she stumbled upon the Chamber of Waking. In the beginning of Hallie's adventure, she was led out of the Realm of Darkness by voices of her past and the guiding hand of Aqua, as well as at the end of her adventure, when she met Aqua in person at the Dark Margin in the Realm of Darkness. Her very first time of meeting the Keyblade Master happened when Hallie was a child and lived in Radiant Garden with her friends Kairi and Ren, a mysterious boy she met later on in life in the undersea world of Atlantica. Following the voice of the most elusive of the three, Hallie and her friends were taken through a strange portal that lead them to Lingering Will, Terra's Keyblade Armor that housed his mind. Terra also helped Hallie in one of her most struggling times and blessed her with the power of her own Keyblade Armor.

Hallie wished she could meet the famous trio. She wished she could express the infinite gratitude she felt towards these three, who sacrificed everything to unknowingly raise those who would save them. She held in her hands the relief to their sufferings and pain; she wasn't going to let them down.
