Hello! Sigh boy it's been a long time hasn't it?

I never did end finishing this story up, did I? But, I did have a lot of ideas for it. And a while back I had this one written with a Christmas theme. Not for a real chapter, just a standalone, and I figured "what the heck?"

Been thinking, maybe I can share some chapters I did still have finished. Because looking back, I have a lot more of this fic finished than I ththtut I did

Either way, I still hope you enjoy it

"Christmas Hoodies"

Fanny was sitting outside on a swing. It was snowing around her, as she waited out in the empty playground around her. It was a Friday morning, one more school day left before winter break. She had just got a call from Patton the night before on how he had something to give her.

She was sitting there looking boredly at the snowflakes falling around her, until she heard the sounds of jingling bells and crunching footsteps approaching her direction.

"Hey Whizzer", she greeted Patton with the same nickname she had since when they first met. He waved towards her in his orange mittens as he came closer to her view. It was then when she finally got a clear view of what kind of hodie he was wearing.

Fanny looked wide-eyed at his current hoodie. It was dark green with multiple lights, and a giant reindeer on the front with a large red nose.

"Uhh…did you get a new hoodie?", she asked hesitantly.

"Yes I did", Patton answered proudly. "My mom made it. Isn't it Christmas-y?" He moved his scarf back to completely show it off. "Oh, and look at this!". He pushed the red reindeer nose, and the lights on his sleeves started changing lights hoodie started singing. "It's my favorite Christmas song", he explained as his sweater played Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

"Pretty neat huh?", he asked.

"Uh..yeah", Fanny answered. "Definetly in the Christmas spirit. It…it suits you."

"Thanks", he smiled. "I'm glad you think so because", he then pulled something out from his backpack, "I had mom make you one too!"

Fanny looked at the sweater in his hands. It was light blue with snowflakes around them and a snowman with candy canes on the sleeves. She hesitated before looking up at Patton.

"…For me?", she asked, half-scared.

"Yup", he answered before he handed it to her. "Put it on".

Fanny took it and slowly put it on over her current shirt and jacket.

It was big. Her hands completely disappeared in the sleeves and the sweater started to loosely fall on her small frame.

"It's big", she told him.

"Oh. Sorry, I tried to make it smaller than most of mine. Oh! But it's got some else too!"

He then pushed a button on the snowman as Fanny started to hear a guitar play out of it. Soon, she was standing there listening to her hoodie play Jingle Bell Rock.

"As if he couldn't possibly get any weirder", she thought to herself.

"So what do you think?", Patton asked excitedly.

Fanny looked at the ground for a second, as she thought about her response.

"Should I give him an honest answer, or a Christmas answer?"

However, before she opened her mouth, she then looked up at him. He was smiling hopefully and there a small twinkle in his mismatched eyes. She found herself staring at them for a moment, before smiling at him warmly.

"It's gorgeous", she told him. He smiled back as the 2 started to walk off from the playground onto the sidewalk to head to school.

"So is this what you wanted to show me?", Fanny asked as they walked.

"Yeah. I wanted to get you your present a little early", he answered.

"Wow…thanks", she said with a brief pause.

"Merry early Christmas Fan", he told her happily. She smiled back up at him.

"Merry early Christmas Whizzer."
