Hello, everyone! This is Duckboy016 here to remind everyone that I am alive! I've found the right motivation to come back to this site and continue my stories. Even though it took nearly three years to do so. Also, I've been seeing this particular story blowing up in reviews and favourites! You guys must really love this story, and that's why I've decided to come back and rewrite this entire document. After reading the entire two chapters, I couldn't help but cringe at the level of intelligence the 2016 year me had. That's why I'm rewriting it and changing the story for a much better introduction and story builder. That's all I have to say for now, enjoy the new story!

Prologue

Past, Present, and Future. When you think of these words, what comes to mind? Past mistakes? Present action? Or future success? What ever the thought, it couldn't possibly be more complex than the fighting against a super-dimensional lifeform to save the existence of time, now could it? This was the problem that three super powered hedgehogs had in the palm of their hands. It's up to them to save time itself and seal Solaris once again. But, to defeat a god of time, they each had to defeat it in separate timelines. One hedgehog had to defeat it in the past, one had to defeat it in the present, and the last had to defeat it in the future.

In the midst of this time distortion, one super powered hedgehog who goes by the name of Sonic, and is originally royal blue coloured, but due to the power of the mystical gems called: Chaos Emeralds- He was shining like a golden star. This, as known amongst most of his friends, is called his Super Sonic state. Normally, he would need fifty golden rings to keep this transformation going, but due to his unpredictability, he could keep this form going for as long as he needs, even without the golden rings. Which was what he was doing now. He was the hedgehog who had to defeat Solaris in the present. Solaris wasn't someone you could just play around and taunt with. All the years of fighting against his arch-enemy, Dr. Eggman, made him adapt to the doctor's constant ruin on taking over the planet. But this was a serious fight, and he couldn't play around like he usually would with Dr. Eggman. He had to save the present if it was the last thing he did!

Along with Sonic, in the time distortion, was another golden and red streaked super powered hedgehog, who goes by the name of Shadow; Given to him by Dr. Eggman's grandfather, Dr. Gerald Robotnik, when he was created as Project Shadow. But, the dark story is that he is only an android of Dr. Eggman's creation, a near copy of the original ultimate lifeform Dr. Gerald Robotnik created. He is also here to defeat Solaris, but in the past. In the time of him working in G.U.N., he always had the sense of pursuing the mission, no matter the cost. You could say that with a face like his, he doesn't have many friends or even try to make any. Shadow has always been the serious type. Even when he's around an optimistic person like Sonic and his friends. Fighting a god of time in the past kind of surprised him, but he knew he had a job to do, and he was going to destroy this being. He was Shadow the Hedgehog, the ultimate lifeform!

Finally, the last member amongst Sonic and Shadow in their battle against Solaris, was a young psychokinetic, super powered hedgehog from two hundred years in the future of Sonic's timeline, who goes by the name of Silver. Originally, he came to Sonic's present to kill the Iblis Trigger that caused ruin and devastation in the present of his timeline. He thought Sonic was the Iblis Trigger, but after getting some literal sense knocked into him by Shadow, he became more open-minded and saw that Sonic was protecting the container of Iblis. Elise, the princess of Soleanna, and the container of the flames of Iblis. He then realised he was tricked by Mephiles; a being constructed by Shadow's own shadow, and a figment of darkness that was sealed into a scepter. Both him and Shadow went into the past to seal him back successfully, but he was then freed when the scepter was destroyed. Now, he was facing the Solaris of the future with a grim expression on his face. He had defeat it, for he was the future's saviour!

The three hedgehogs were fighting with all their might at what was the perfect being that could destroy the dimensional matrix without a problem. They were pretty much distracting it from erasing their entire timeline, considering that it was taking their hits well. Shadow was really frustrated with it all. Seeing possibly everything you had being blocked or dodged like it was nothing was really graving on his nerves. A thought came across his mind and he scoffed at the idea, but he had no other choice in the making now did he. He's been analysing Solaris during his fight in the past timeline, and the thought of having to go against all three of them at in different timelines was inhuman. Well, technically speaking it wasn't human, but it had to have limitations, right? Or possibly a flaw in its defenses. He didn't know if the others could communicate with his in different distortions of times, but he took his chances anyway. "Sonic! Silver! Can you hear me? If you can, then listen up. I think I know how we can defeat it."

Sonic, being in the present timeline, heard his voice, but it sounded a little shaky due to all of the ripples being made because of Solaris' attacks. "Yeah, I hear you!" He yelled at no one present, but in the past and having to immediately dodged a beam of light that brushed right past him. He wasn't the fastest thing alive for nothing. A measly beam of light couldn't dream of coming close to touching him. "What's is it, Shads?" Dodging another beam, he smirked to himself knowing that little nickname would irk Shadow off. Maybe he should stop playing around for now.

Rubbing his temples at the nickname he told Sonic not to call him, but he still did anyways. When this was all over, he was going to seriously kick his blue ass back to Green Hill. "Listen, faker. Since we're all in different timelines. Wouldn't it be difficult for Solaris defend against all three of us at the same time?" He was thinking on this subject for the longest, but he couldn't think of any possible conclusions that would all three of them out alive. Either take the direct approach, or play dodgeball and carry out the fight longer than necessary. He certainly didn't have he patience to do the latter, and he was pretty sure the blue hedgehog didn't either.

Silver, who was quiet during their little conversation, decided to speak up about what Shadow was trying to relay to them. "Of course! It couldn't possibly block all three of us, if we charge it at the same time!" It was a brilliant solution, but a pretty straight forward combat plan. If they can break its defenses , then it would be game over for Solaris. A smile crept of Silver's face when he thought of Solaris defeated and his timeline saved. "Alright, let's do it guys!" As soon as those words left his mouth, he began to expand his range of his psychokinesis to grab all of the debris that was sent flying at him from Solaris. He continued to gather as many as he could until either Shadow or Sonic gave the call to charge.

Sonic flashed his trademark grin at the being opposing him. Pointing a single finger at it with a much higher resolve to defeat it. The image of his friends back home flashed in his mind, as he closed his hand into a fist. He was definitely going to take it down now. He was the hero in the story, and you better believe he didn't anything of it to save the lives of others. "You're going down, Solaris! Super Sonic style!" After that comment, he started to roll into his signature move, the spin dash, to charge up the second phase of it. Small particles were being absorbed by his charging, and his spin ball began to glow brighter each second.

Shadow was busy taking off the inhibitor rings that were around his wrists and ankles, which were also made to subdue the raw chaotic power he had. Call it a hidden power, but a major risk towards his life force. The surprise was him taking off all four of his inhibitor rings, justifies how serious he's taking this fight. As soon as they were released from his person, he could feel the raw energy trying to escape and was on a timer until it forced its way out. "Now!" He didn't waste any time after that, and just charged straight towards the exposed core shown on Solaris. As he drew near, a crimson aura began to encase his golden enigma.

Thinking he had enough debris to make his attack, Silver then started to combine the very large debris until it was just a huge meteorite encased by the radiance of his psychokinetic powers. When he heard Shadow yell out the signal to charge, he didn't waste any time to use the force of his powers to send the meteorite skyrocketing towards Solaris. "You'll never disturb another timeline again!" Forcing his limits, he made the created meteorite accelerate faster than before. Looks like Silver really wanted to take this being down for good. Having seen your timeline in ruin, and seeing the one would could've possibly caused it would make anyone go berserk with anger. "Take this!"

Feeling all charged up and ready to go, Sonic's spin ball was glowing brightly from all of the light particles he absorbed during his charging. He immediately flashed forward at Solaris, leaving a trail of light behind his charging spin ball. He saw Solaris' attention went towards him and it shot out another light beam, but it was no use compared to his maximum charged spin ball. He met the blast head on and went straight through it like it was nothing. He kept this up until he reached the core, which he was approaching head fast.

The super-dimensional being saw all super powered hedgehogs charged towards it with their own unique techniques. This was an opposing problem considering that it fighting all three of them in the past, present, and future- Not a good look if you were known as the god of time. It was stuck in loop at not knowing what to do to block all three of them at once. It tried to charge up another beam of light to throw at least one of them off, and that would be its move to attack and recover. But things didn't go its way when it felt something smash against its backside and heard-

[ METEOR SMASH ]

That caused it to tumble over and fire off its light beam in some random direction and nowhere near one of the hedgehogs. In rage and humiliation for being caught off guard like that, it was about to urn its attention towards the direction of the unexpected attack, until it heard another cry out.

[ CHAOS BLAST ]

A sudden burst of energy, as big as half its form exploded in the front side this time. Having being attacked unexpectedly the first time caused it to retaliate without thinking, so it didn't expect another unexpected attack in the next second. This one was so sudden that it completely stunned it long enough for Sonic to make the final attack, which he was fast approaching in the one second that was going to pass.

[ LIGHTSPEED ATTACK ]

The spin ball Sonic went straight through the core of the super-dimensional being, and unrolled to watch its form fall into the deep abyss of time. The tired expression that adourned his face lifted up into a content smile, throwing his fist above him in sweet victory. "We did it! Teamwork makes the dream work! We won!" After that little celebration of his, his super state began to faulter. He was pretty sure that they wouldn't need them anymore due to the downfall of Solaris. "Silver, nice going with that move! You too, Shads!"

'I'm going to destroy that blue idiot.' Came the thought of one grumpy hedgehog, as he reattached his inhibitor rings on his wrists and ankles. Though he didn't look it, that chaos blast took everything out of him and his super state began to faulter as well. Unlike the spunky blue hedgehog, he kept his attention on the defeated Solaris. Something felt off for some reason, but that could just be his paranoia spiking up again. There was no way that thing could get back up after a beat down like that. With that, he folded his arms over his chest and smirked at a job well done. "Hmph."

Rubbing the back of his head, Silver couldn't help but be shy, even though no one was around him. The praise Sonic gave him just made him feel all embarrassed, he didn't know. But then, he put up a grim expression as he stared down at Solaris' falling and defeated form. A few tears threatened to fall from his eyes, but he wiped them away as soon as they made themselves known. He remembered back to the time where Blaze, his feline friend, sacrificed herself to be the vessel for Iblis, after it rejected him. His super form began to faulter as well, when he looked down at Solaris with a heavy face. "This is for Blaze."

Just then, Solaris arose from its defeated state with its spectrum wings flapped out with all of their glory, surprising all three hedgehogs. Immediately its core started to glow, and brighter by the second, like it was trying to self-destruct. Apparently, it figured that since it didn't use its full power because it was defeated so suddenly, it could use the remaining energy it had into this one great blast. The brightness grew at such an amazing speed that the hedgehogs didn't have time to stop it or defend them themselves against it. All, but one noticed one important detail about the whole action of Solaris. Shadow's eyes widened when he noticed what Solaris was doing, but didn't know how on earth it knew this technique.

'This is chaos contr-' He didn't even get the thought processed out, before he was cut off by nothing but a white flash.

Naruto Uzumaki was a lot of things. Unpredictable, a knucklehead, hyperactive- You name it. But today, he might as well of have been unlucky Naruto. He had chose the wrong day to vandalise the great stone faces of all of his village's leaders, otherwise know as the Hokage Monument with different colours of paint. Instead of the usual genin and chuunin that would chase him down after he would do such a disrespectful action, there were jounin and anbu operatives chasing him this time. He'll even tell you that they are no joke when it comes to searching and knowing how to find culprits. They had found him about the seventh time, before he just decided to just keep running and sticking to the shadows to at least throw them off before hightailing it again.

It got so out of hand, that he didn't realise that he was out of the village, yet they were still chasing him down. He could've probably lost them if he wasn't wearing such ridiculous clothing. Seriously, who wears bright orange all over in a ninja village. Apparently Naruto did, because that would literally be all he would wear.

He kept running until he tripped into an open water based clearing with a large waterfall. He figured that he would be able to lose those guys, if he hid behind the waterfall. Because not only would they be able to trace him, they wouldn't be able to smell him out either. He could've sworn he saw some dogs after him too. Leaving that thought behind, he dived into the water and swam towards the waterfall. He read in a book that waterfalls usually have and indention behind them, because of all the force of the water coming downfalls sometimes breaks parts of the stone off the mountain. It also helps travelers have some secrecy when they want to bathe.

As he came closer to the waterfall, he held his breath and prepared for impact of the full force of all the water rushing down on his small body. When he felt the water castrate his back, he winced in pain and kicked with all of his might to get to the other side and under the indention. It felt like he was in a water vortex and he was destined to drown in it. He could feel his lungs begin to crush themselves and beg for air, when he was under water for too long. He now began to panic and flail his arms around in desperation, as he released the rest of the remaining air that was trapped in his mouth and came out as bubbles underwater.

By some miracle, he felt himself being propelled upwards and then out of the water, where he inhaled the biggest some of air in all of his life. It didn't end vey well when he landed painfully on solid stone flooring. "Tch.. Ouch..!" A groan escaped his mouth, as he slowly began to stand back up onto his feet. He began to take notice of his surroundings, and was confused on where he had ended up. The entirety of this place was made of stone from his perspective, and there was a lot of moss everywhere. But the whole complex of this place reminded him of something familiar. It reminded him a lot like.. "Is this a temple..?" The place did look like a temple, a very old one at that considering all the moss, and the very few light coming the cracks in the area above. There were also huge statues of weird looking creatures with spears and shields. They almost looked like some sort of guardians in Naruto's eyes. They were also lined up down a corridor leading to what looked like a pyramid made of stairs, with some very old looking stone sitting on top.

Curiosity getting the better of him, he made his way towards the pyramid stairs. He wasn't going to lie. Those statues creeped him out. It was almost as if they were watching him. He made it to the stairs without a hitch and walked to the very top, where the old stone sat. It looked gross from a distance, but now that he was close enough to examine it, he felt drawn to it. It was like it was radiating some ancient power. Curiously, he began to brush off some of the moss that was on it, and his eyes widened when he saw what was underneath it. It was green. This old stone which looked very old, but in reality it seemed to be some giant green stone. He quickly began to brush off as much moss as possible covering the stone. When he was done brush off all the moss, he was amazed at what he saw. It was a giant gem. "Wow..!" And the weird thing about this gem was that it was glowing. Placing his hand on it, he felt so much warmth in his body.

But then, images began to flash through his mind at a rapid pace. He come only make some, but he saw some sort of massive being in a weird looking place. He also saw what looked like three separate trails of golden light, but then a white flash blinded him so suddenly. It felt so real, that he started rubbing his eyes because of how bright that sudden flash was. Whilst he was bust tending to his sight, the giant stone began to glow brighter every second and three bright dots on it were shown getting bigger, almost as if it was going to break out from the stone.

When Naruto began to regain his sight, but had to squint at how sensitive his vision was now, he didn't notice what was going on until it was too late. He turned to look at the stone again, but didn't expect to be impaled by three beams of light that sent him crashing through the temple's walls, and out of mountain side at high speed.

Ironically, he crashed exactly where the jounin and anbu operatives were going to separate and track him down in groups of two. When the smoke cleared, and the now on guard ninjas realised there wasn't any danger, they looked into the now ten foot crater and saw a smoking and unconscious Naruto there. Most of his clothes were burned off now, but the most distinguishable area everyone there noticed was the sealing tattoo on his belly, and the three new kanji detailed on it: Wind, Chaos, and Mind. One of the anbu operatives touched the side of his neck to push a button on her communication receiver.

"Captain. We have a problem.."
