Disclaimer: I do NOT own Godzilla or Fairy Tail!

Hey guys, guess who's back?! I want to start by giving a quick heads up to everyone out there. First off, thank you to everyone who waited patiently for this chapter. I was planning on updating sooner, but I decided that getting through the Spring Semester was too important and I knew I wasn't going to have time to write this chapter. Secondly, I've decided to update this story since I saw Godzilla: King of the Monsters three time now and I wanted to update this story while the creative juices were still flowing.

For those out there who want to know what I thought about Godzilla: King of the Monsters, I will tell you right now that I absolutely LOVED it! Seeing this movie really made me feel like I was watching a classic Toho film and it really made me feel for the kaiju. The battles were incredibly jaw-dropping and my mind felt like it had exploded once it was all over. I also really loved Ken Watanabe and Kyle Chandler's performances in the movie and the score was just completely beautiful. I also thought that the other human characters were a lot more interesting than in Godzilla 2014 and I also thought they were given a fair amount to do despite what some may say. I really loved the designs of all of the monsters too, especially King Ghidorah's. I thought Grand King Ghidorah from Rebirth of Mothra 3 would be my favorite version of Ghidorah, but I think this new look for him takes it for me. Rodan's new look was phenomenal and intimidating, which I really like, and Mothra really shined in every scene she was in. I will admit that it did have a few minor nitpicks, but it's still great; a new modern take on the classic Toho Godzilla movies that came before it.

I read some of the critics' negative reviews on Rotten Tomatoes after seeing the movie and a lot of them sound so vague about why they hated it and even sound controversial to what I had seen! Some even called the monster action "boring" and "dull" or that there "wasn't nearly enough monster action" and all I can think is "Did you even WATCH the same freaking movie?!" At least it shows more of Godzilla and the other Titans than the 2014 movie! (Which I wanna get out there that I also really liked by the way.) If you're coming to a Godzilla movie, you're coming to see Godzilla because HE'S the star! People, do NOT listen to what those critics say, because I can definitely confirm that this is definitely a movie to watch if you are a Godzilla fan! It's obvious that Michael Dougherty and everyone else involved made this movie for the fans and not for the critics.

*Whew!* Anyway, with my little rant over, I wanna let you all know that I recently decided that instead of stressing myself out and work on writing four stories at once, I'll be temporarily shifting my focus into primarily working on my Persona: Infinity War story over the summer break since it will be much shorter than the other three I'm also currently writing so that way once it's out of the way, I focus on completing my other three. So if any of you readers are wondering my the updates for my other stories weren't coming, that's why.

Anyway, before we get started, I actually wanted to take this time to answer a select few of the comments you guys sent in really quickly, so here we go!

Swampthingy: Interesting choices for voice actors for the Space Kaiju. I'll check those out when I have the time.

The Specter: I actually find the idea of alternate versions of Fairy Tail characters existing on Terra to be really interesting and something I never really thought of.

Hunter2: Thanks! To be perfectly honest, the idea to make a Godzilla/Fairy Tail crossover just came to me. I remember re-reading Godzilla: Rulers of Earth and watching Fairy Tail and suddenly thinking, "How cool would it be if these two worlds were to come together?" I also got the insperation after reading Tarbtano and Faith-Wolff's The Bridge.

andrewrgibson03: I actually am planning on making a mini-story like that once I finally finish writing this story. And once Godzilla: King of the Monsters is available to buy on YouTube, I'll be making a one-shot of them watching that for Godzilla's 65 year anniversary.

Red King: Me and ElekingGudon actually added that idea of yours to the Wiki page. Thanks for that, was really interesting!

Now then, with those out of the way, lets get started!

Chapter 35: One Last Game

Gaira let out a roar as he charged across the clearing that was once the Fairy Tail Base Camp towards Ganimes and Dagahra, the Green Gargantua raising his fists in preparation to beat the living snot out of the ones who had attacked and possibly killed his brother. As he came close to his brothers attackers, Ganimes acted first and swung his left claw at him, only for Gaira to quickly duck under the attack and smash his first into the Conqueror's face.

Ganimes let out a snarl of pain before Gaira grabbed him by his claw and in an impressive display of strength, began to swing him around before tossing him off to the side and sent him slamming into the ground. The Green Gargantua then turned his attention towards Dagahra, who was already gathering energy into his wings.

"So you chose to turn against us, is that right? Then prepare to join your brother in the afterlife! Crimson Sails!" With a piercing cry, Dagahra unleashed multiple crescent shaped blasts of red energy towards Gaira, who charged right towards the attack before jumping over them at the last second. As he came back down, he raised his fists above his head in preparation to deliver a double hammer-fist onto Dagahra.

"Scalding Spray!" Out of nowhere, a blast of boiling hot water struck Gaira in mid-air and knocked him off course as he struck the ground with sharp cry of pain from both the force of the impact and the boiling hot liquid burning his skin. He looked up to see Ganimes had recovered from his previous throw and was now approaching him with a sinister cackle.

"KYAHAHAHA! Thought you could take us both by yourself, huh? Well, tough luck! Now we're gonna stomp you into the mud until you never get back up!" he cackled maniacally.

"SHUT UP!" Gaira roared as he shot back up to his feet and charged at Ganimes, who responded by sidestepping to the right at the last minute before smacking him hard in the back of the head with his left pincer.

The Green Gargantua fell forward with a thud and grunted as he tried to get up, only to be stopped when he felt something press down on his head and pin him to the ground. He glanced out of the corner of his eye and saw Dagahra pinning him down with his foot as he glared down at Gaira.

"How foolish of you to turn against us. Had your brother learned to keep his mouth shut, he wouldn't have had to pay with his life now, would he?" the Conqueror said with a sneer.

Gaira responded with s snarl and a deep glare. "Keep Sanda out of this! You'll both regret what you did to him!"

"Hehehehe! As if you can threaten us when you're the one pinned to the floor." Ganimes insulted with a chuckle.

Nearby, the other members of the Earth Defenders and Fairy Tail could only look on as they struggled to muster up any power to enter the fray. Their own battles had left them all quite winded and drained of Magic Power, and thus could do nothing but watch.

"Dammit!" Bickslow cursed. "We gotta do something!"

"But what can we do? We've practically drained ourselves of Magic Power. In our current state, we would only be trampled on." Freed informed.

Gorosaurus snarled as too could only stand by and watch. "If only I had more strength in me, then I could keep fighting."

Suddenly, the sound of something slamming into the ground caught their attention and they all turned to see Elfman with his fist pressed against the ground as he glared up at the two Earth Conquerors with a serious glare.

"Attacking ones own comrades is one thing...but using someones own family for selfish intentions is something I'll never tolerate!"

"Big bro..." Lisanna whispered to herself.

Elfman rose to his feet and mustered up as much of his remaining Magic Power as he could before he suddenly charged towards the fray while his right arm transformed into his new Ebirah claw that he had gotten earlier.

"Get away from him!" he yelled as he raised his claw and charged at Dagahra.

"Big brother!" Lisanna called out to him in worry.

Upon hearing his yell, Ganimes turned and noticed the Take-Over Mage rush towards them. "Ooh! Looks like Ebirah was able to give you a hand! Get it?! Hand! GAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Laugh at this, freak!" Elfman shouted as he lunged at him with his Ebirah claw, but Ganimes countered with his own giant left pincer. He managed to catch Elfman by the wrist of his Ebirah claw before he slowly began to squeeze it, causing Elfman to let out a yell of pain.

"Elfman!" Levy shouted.

"Let me tell you something, chump." Ganimes said as he continued to apply more pressure with his pincer. "Ebirah's claw is pretty nifty for slicing and dicing, but I'm much more of a cruncher."

Freed tried to get back up, but his body still felt too weak to move. "Elfman, get away! Quickly!"

"Elfman!" Kamoebas yelled.

With Ganimes keeping Elfman at bay, Dagahra looked back down at Gaira as he slowly began to gather energy into his throat. "Now then, any last requests before you meet your demise?"

Gaira continued to struggled a little before he stopped and looked back up at Dagahra, a smirk appearing on his face.

"Yeah. Tell SpaceGodzilla...he's roadkill if he thinks he can take down Godzilla."

The Earth Conqueror's rage spiked after hearing that and he prepared to fire his Irabushan Bean.

"DIE TRAITOR!"

However, before he could unleash his attack...

"GREEONNNGK!"

A loud roar caught Dagahra's attention and he quickly shot his head up in the direction it came from just as a he was suddenly struck by a stream of fire and blasted off of Gaira.

"What the-?!" Ganimes looked over and was shocked to see Dagahra on the ground groaning in pain, his body covered in scorch marks. Elfman noticed the mutated stone crab was distracted and used this moment as an opportunity. He reached up with his free hand and grabbed Ganimes' left pincer, causing him to turn back around to see that Elfman's Ebirah claw was glowing again.

"Thanks bub! I needed a new arm!" The Take-Over Mage said with a fierce grin as his Ebirah suddenly transformed into a replica of Ganimes' own left claw, further surprising the Earth Conqueror as Elfman used the strength in his new arm to force open Ganimes' claw off of his wrist.

The others looked over to see who had saved Gaira and their gazes were brought towards the medical tent. Their eyes widened with shock when they saw two familiar faces standing side by side, with one having steam flowing from his may due to having just released that last fire attack.

Fairy Tail OST: Cobra the Poison Dragon...

"Baragon! Gajeel!" Gorosaurus exclaimed in both surprise and utter relief.

Levy was in utter shock at seeing the Iron Dragon Slayer back on his feet again despite the damage he had received earlier that day. And despite all of the bandages that covered his body as well as the few minor bruises and cuts, he looked as fit as a fiddle. Even Baragon's wound he had gotten from Ganimes earlier had fully healed as the bandages that had been wrapped around him were removed, no doubt due to his natural healing factor.

"No way, they're already healed?" Cana inquired.

"Looks like it." Kamoebas answered. "And at a pretty good time too, it looks like."

Baragon glanced off to the side and noticed Sanda lying on the ground unconscious, then towards Gaira, and then finally back at Dagahra. He gave a deep frown with a sharp glare on his face.

"I knew you Conqueror punks were low, but I never knew you could sink any lower."

"That's for sure." Gajeel replied with a sneer.

Baragon looked from Dagahra to Ganimes before glancing at Gajeel. "What do you say? Wanna take the crab and I take the lizard?"

The Iron Dragon responded by cracking his knuckles, his sneer turning into a fierce grin. "Fine by me. I was looking for a good chance to get some payback after last time."

"Sounds like a plan then." the Subterranean Terror nodded as the two got ready to fight again.

"Ah, dammit! Those two are still alive?! This blows!" Ganimes complained.

"Focus Ganimes!" Dagahra barked at his fellow Conqueror. "Just be ready to fight!"

"Righto!" he replied with a nod.

Baragon and Gajeel charged ahead, with the latter going straight for Ganimes while the former went for Dagahra. Black Steel jumped above the stone crab kaiju as he raised his right above his head.

"Iron Dragon's Sword!" Gajeel's arm transformed into a large steel blade as he swung it down towards Ganimes, who managed to raise his left pincer and black the attack. The Earth Conqueror raised his right claw to slice at the Dragon Slayer, but was stopped when Elfman came up from behind and struck him in the back with his new Ganimes claw. Ganimes stumbled forward as a result, allowing Gajeel to break through his defense by turning his left arm into an iron pillar and smash it into the kaiju's face. "Iron Dragon's Club!"

The Earth Conqueror stumbled backwards as a result and Elfman came in for another attack, only for Ganimes to spin around and bat him away with his left claw before turning back to Gajeel and releasing a blast of his Scalding Spray, but he managed to roll to the side and avoid the attack. The Dragon Slayer came to a stop and pointed his arm at the mutated stone crab.

"Iron Dragon's Lance: Demon Logs!" Gajeel's arm transformed into a spearhead and began to fire a large number of iron spears at the Kaiju, but Ganimes responded by puffing his chest and taking a deep breath.

"Bubble Cannon!" Ganimes released a volley of bubbles towards the oncoming attack, intercepting it and resulting in numerous small, fiery explosions that forced the Dragon Slayer to cover up. "HA! Did you forget my bubbles are explosive, dummy?! There's no way you can beat me!"

However, much to his confusion, he noticed that instead of scowling, Gajeel was giving him a fierce grin. "Who ever said I needed to be the one to beat ya?"

Ganimes was left confused until a noise from behind prompted him to quickly turn around, only for him to meet the angry face of Mothra Leo as he let out a loud shriek before shooting a heavy blast of silk into his face.

"GAH! MY FACE! IT'S IN MY EYES!" the Earth Conqueror cried out as he desperately tried to use his pincers to cut through the thick layer of silk.

"Pay attention, you idiot!" Dagahra roared before he quickly jumped back to avoid a slash from Baragon's claws, landing a short distance away. Dagahra looked up at the Earth Defender with a sharp glare. "Still plan on defying us, are we? You do realize you cannot defeat us, right?"

Baragon merely scoffed in response. "That's funny coming from you, especially after we beat the snot out of you last time."

The Conqueror's glare hardened as he growled in fury. "Why you... YOU DARE MOCK US?!"

Dagahra unfolded his wings and launched himself towards Baragon before he began to spin around like a large drill as energy rings started to form around him, much to Baragon's surprise.

"Barem Rings!" With a shout, the energy rings shot off of his body and raced towards Baragon, who quickly jumped out of the way as the continued its course and blasted through several trees on the edge of the clearing.

"Magma Buster!" Baragon skidded to a stop and unleashed a torrent of flames from his maw. Dagahra countered by opening up his shoulder spikes and firing his Barem Cannons at the oncoming attack, creating a large fiery explosion in the middle. The Subterranean Terror raised his paws to shield his eyes from the blast while Dagahra gave a sinister smirk.

"Unlike you Defenders, I learn from my past mistakes. Don't think I'll fall for the same tricks so easily."

"Well too bad for you, cause we won't be using the same old tricks."

The new voice caught his attention and Dagahra turned just as a fist socked him clean across the cheek and sent him slamming onto the ground with a painful snarl. Gaira cracked his knuckles as he glared at the Conqueror while Baragon approached him.

"So, I'm gonna assume we're on the same wavelength, right?" he inquired.

"These Conquerors were just using me as a bargaining chip against my brother." Gaira replied with a thunderous glare at Dagahra. "As far as I'm concerned, they might as well rot in the deepest pits of Hell."

Baragon joined him in glaring towards Dagahra. "Fair enough for me. You ready to do this?"

"Never felt more ready than I am now."

The Earth Conqueror managed to recover and looked up to see Baragon and Gaira standing side-by-side while facing him. His temper flared once again at the sight. "So now you're joining forces with these Defender scum, are you?!"

"It's better than having to work with bastards like you!" the Green Gargantua retorted harshly.

"The you will DIE with them!" Dagahra roared in fury as he unleashed his Irabushan Beam towards the two. Gaira and Baragon both split off and avoided the attack while the former grabbed a nearby log and hurled it towards the aquatic kaiju.

Dagahra fired his Barem Cannons and destroyed the oncoming log instantly, but this was revealed to be a mere distraction as Baragon suddenly burst out of the ground underneath him and fires another Magma Buster, striking the Earth Conqueror point-blank on its underbelly and causing him to let out a cry of agony as his stomach area suffered serious third-degree burns.

The force of the attack sent Dagahra hurling into the air before crashing back to the ground with a loud thud. He groaned in pain as he tried to rise to his feet, wincing in pain as his stomach continued to sting from his burns. However, as he did he noticed Gaira charging towards him with his fists raised and a blaring roar.

"Crimson Sails!" Dagahra released more of his crescent-shaped energy blasts, but Gaira managed to successfully weave around and dodge all of them, much to the Conquerors shock. The Green Gargantua then brought his fist back and delivered an uppercut to Dagahra's chin, making him flip over and land on his back.

Gaira glanced over his shoulder and noticed Ganimes still struggling to remove Mothra Leo's silk before an idea struck him. He turned back to Dagahra and grabbed him firmly by his tail with both hands, then proceeded to give a powerful tug before throwing the Earth Conqueror through the air and towards his comrade. Ganimes, who finally managed to cut away the silk that was covering his eyes, looked up and immediately noticed Dagahra already heading towards him before giving a deadpanned expression.

"Ah, sonova-"

*BAM!*

Dagahra and Ganimes' skulls collided with each other before both Conquerors collapsed in a small heap with dazed expressions, the force of the collision apparently having rattled their brains a little too much.

Gaira turned his attention towards Baragon. "NOW!"

The Subterranean Terror got the message and nodded as he began to gather energy into his claws, which began to glow a bright reddish-orange color. He then raised both claws over his head before slamming them into the ground with a thunderous roar.

"TREMOR CLAWS!"

The ground beneath Baragon cracked and shook like a mini earthquake before more cracks began to appear and travel towards the two downed Conquerors, with the cracks giving off a fiery orange light inside. Suddenly, as the cracks reached them, a massive column of fire, molten rock and lava erupted from beneath the two, completely engulfing them.

Dagahra and Ganimes could be heard crying out in agonizing pain from within the attack before they were seen being blasted into the sky before disappearing into the forest several miles away.

Baragon soon cancelled his attack and let out a loud sigh of exhaustion as he slumped onto the ground. "Jeez, that one...took a lot out of me. Must...rest."

"Heh, you and me both." Gajeel agreed as he joined the Defender in sitting down.

Elfman's Ganimes arm returned to normal as he slumped onto the ground as well and landed on his back. "Man...I feel like I'm gonna be sleeping like a baby these next few days."

The others could only smile with relief upon seeing the two Earth Conquerors finally defeated and their friends safe before they turned and noticed Gaira approaching the motionless form of his brother as he knelt down and cradled him in his arms.

"Sanda..." Gaira muttered as he closed his eyes with a crestfallen and devastated expression. "I'm...I'm so sorry. I should've known sooner that you were being used, I should have been there to help you. I...I failed as your brother. I'm sorry..."

However, he then felt Sanda's body slightly stir and he looked looked down to see his brother was still breathing, but he still looked to be in a lot of pain. "Sanda! SANDA!"

Seeing his brother in desperate need of care, he looked up at the others, who were surprised and saddened to see the pleading look in his eyes.

"P-Please... Please help my brother!"

Meanwhile:

A thunderous explosion ripped through the air as the roof of the Grimoire Heart Airship was completely blown away, sending debris all across the beach and in the water surrounding the ship itself. The sound was so great that a small pack of wolves hanging close to shore took notice and stared at the now smoking airship.

As smoke and dust spread through the air, Lucy, Wendy, Gray, Erza and the Kaiju watched from where they laid/stood as Natsu's punch collided with Hades' face and sent him skidding back across the ship deck with a grunt of pain.

"Natsu!" Lucy exclaimed before something caught her attention. She looked up and noticed that Natsu's scarf had come off of him after that last attack and was being carried by the breeze towards the edge of the ship, threatening to go overboard. The blonde acted fast and managed to grab it, but almost went over the edge herself until Wendy managed to pull her back to safety.

Meanwhile, Hades stared at Natsu in utter shock. "No...That's impossible! My Black Magic had no effect on you?!" Natsu only responded with heavy breathing as he stomped towards the Guild Master with pure rage on his face. "How can that be?! My Magic lies within-!"

Hades' eyes shot wide all of a sudden as his Devil's Eye deactivated and returned to a normal eye, causing him to cover it with his hand. "It...couldn't have..."

"RRRAAAAHHHHHH!" Natsu lunged at Hades and struck him with an uppercut to the chin, sending him reeling back with a loud gag.

...

Inside the lower halls of the ship, gave serious glares as they stood before the damaged remains of the Devil's Heart, the protective glass once shielding it now shattered and the dark liquid flushing out of it. The pulsing structure itself was intact, but still damaged.

Lily glanced over his shoulder with a smirk while the Dark Mages he was fighting began to panic over what they saw. Happy and Carla responded with a quick high-five to each other.

...

"What have you done...to my heart...?" Hades wheezed.

The demons began to howl with fury and desperation as their once purple ethereal bodies turned pitch black and began to crack like stone before breaking apart and turning into dust.

"What's happening?!" King Caesar exclaimed with surprise.

"The monsters are starting to crumble!" Erza stated.

Gray stared in shock. "They're disintegrating!"

"But why?" Rodan asked.

"I doesn't matter right now! They're defeated!" Anguirus answered with a glare. "Now we can take care of Hades!"

...

At the edge of the forest close to the airship, Rustyrose laid across the ground in a slight daze while staring up at the sky, his raft having come ashore near where the river connects to the shore.

"The secret behind Master Hades' incredible Magic Power and longevity lies in the demon heart kept on our ship, known as the 'Devil's Heart'. he muttered to himself. "Should it ever be destroyed, Master Hades will lose all of his Magic Power."

...

As Natsu continued to lay the smack down onto the defenseless Hades, Wendy perked up when the sound of rumbling reached her ears. She looked towards the direction it was coming from and her eyes widened.

"Wow..." she said to herself in awe.

Lucy heard her and turned towards her. "Is everything okay, Wendy?"

Eventually, she and the others also saw what she was seeing and they too were left speechless. They all saw the Tenrou Tree afar, slowly tilting back up back to it's base.

"You kidding me?" Gray muttered.

"How...?" Rodan said, too shocked to even finish his sentence.

Godzilla was left dumbfounded. "The Tenrou Tree. It's...returning to normal?"

...

At the base of the Tenrou Tree, dust blew as Ultear used her Arc of Time to restore the tree to what it was before Azuma fell it. She huffed in exhaustion.

"Thanks to all of you...I have been given a new lease...on life." She huffed as her Magic was exhausted completely when the tree was restored.

From behind a nearby tree, Meredy glowered with a glare at Ultear.

...

As Levy and Lisanna were preparing to bandage Sanda, everyone at base camp looked up in surprise to see the Tenrou Tree rising up, towering over every other tree in on the island and bathing the island with magic power once again.

"What the..." Elfman muttered with shock.

Cana was astonished. "The Tenrou Tree is...growing back?"

...

Nearby, a slightly wounded Titanosaurus trudged slowly through the forest when the ground began to shake violently. He soon noticed a shadow begin to form over him and slowly turned around to see the tree slowly growing back up.

"Great Tanaka..." he muttered in awe.

...

Back on the ship, Lucy and the others gasped when their guild marks suddenly began to glow brightly.

"What's happening?" Lucy asked.

"Our emblems are glowing." Wendy said in surprise.

Erza looked down at her hands with wide eyes. "Our Magic Power...it's back."

"Well it's about time." Gray answered.

As his guild mark ceased glowing, Natsu let out a cry as he felt his Magic Power return to him before charging towards Hades, who was left in shock.

'How could I, the all-powerful Hades, be defeated by Makarov and his children?!'

"This is what you get for hurting out master, you jerk!" Natsu yelled as he brought his fist back in an attempt to strike Hades, only for the Grimoire Heart Guild Master to respond by smashing his own gloved fist into Natsu's face.

"STAY BACK!" he yelled as he sent purple wave at the Dragon Slayer, forcing him back, before he sent a kick towards him and struck him in the face again. "Until I stand above all others who follow the path of sorcery...THE DEVIL IN ME WILL NEVER SLEEP!"

Suddenly, something out of the corner of his eye caught Hades' attention and he turned just as Laxus came around and socked him in the face, sending him stumbling backwards.

"Laxus!" Natsu said with surprise.

"ATTACK!" the Lightning Dragon Slayer cried out. "COME ON, FAIRY TAIL!"

With that, lightning crackled across Natus' body before he once again entered his Lightning Flame Dragon Mode. Hades sent another purple shockwave at Laxus and sent him sailing backwards and onto the ground, only for him to notice the others also charging at him.

"This might be our last chance, so lets make it count!" Erza yelled.

"We've gotta blast this geezer with everything we've got!" Gray added.

"Get ready to get smacked, you fossil!" Rodan called out as he flew over the group.

"Come any closer and you shall feel my wrath!" Hades made a quick hand motion before thrusting both hands forward and sending a bright blast of purple towards the group, forcing them to dodge.

Lucy skidded across the deck as she pulled out a Celestial Key. "We may not have a contract yet, but..." She then raised the key towards the sky as it gave off a golden glow. "Open: Gate of the Sea Goat - Capricorn!"

At her command, Capricorn appeared beside her in a flash of golden light, only he was now dressed differently from when he was possessed by Zoldeo. He still wore his shades, but now wore a formal twin-tail butler suit that covered his arms and legs.

"At your service, my lady." the Celestial Spirit greeted in a formal tone. "Do you need assistance?"

"Take him down!" Lucy ordered, pointing at Hades.

Capricorn nodded before lunging at the Dark Mage. "Understood."

Hades was left in shock to see his former subordinate turning against him. "How dare you!"

"I have rid myself of Zoldeo!" the Sea Goat exclaimed as he socked Hades in the face before spinning around and delivering a quick roundhouse kick. "I am now Lady Lucy's Celestial Spirit - Capricorn!"

As he said that, he drove his elbow into Hades' face and sent him stumbling backwards as Rodan and Wendy came in from behind him.

"Ready to put all that training to good use, kid?!" Rodan asked the young Dragon Slayer, earning a nod in response.

"I'm ready! Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" Wendy swung her arms downward as a large whirlwind of air struck Hades and sent him flying straight into the air. Rodan flapped his wings and shot upwards until he was above Hades.

"This is gonna hurt, you old fart! Raging Twister!" Rodan dove down and slammed into Hades with full force as the pterosaur's body became surrounded in a swirling funnel of wind, sending the Grimoire Heart Master shooting back towards the ground as King Caesar and Gray jumped up to meet him halfway.

"Ice-Make: Ice Bringer!"

"Prism Claws!"

Gray summoned two massive blades of ice and slashed them at Hades in an X-formation while Caesar's claws glowed bright reddish-pink as he slashed at him in a similar manner, making Hades cry out in agony. As he continued to fall back towards the deck, Anguirus and Erza charged at him next.

"Requip - Heaven's Wheel!" Erza's body glowed as she entered her Heaven's Wheel Armor before slashing at Hades with her dual swords in a star formation. "Pentagram Sword!"

Anguirus leaped into the air and curled himself into a ball as he flew towards Hades, his spines beginning to give of a red hot glow before smashing into the Dark Mage. "Thunderball!"

Hades let out yet another cry before he landed back onto the ships deck, his feet skidding against the wood. He managed to stop and hunched over slightly before looking up to see Natsu charge at him with a war cry as hands were surrounded with fire and lightning. Hades brought his hands close together as he summoned a swirling orb of darkness in between them.

"Grimoire Law!"

Before he could finish casting the spell however, he felt a strong presence behind him and spun around just as Godzilla's spines finished glowing.

"Atomic Spiral Roar!" The King of the Monsters unleashed a concentrated beam of energy surrounded by a spiral of purple from his jaws as it struck Hades point-blank, causing his Grimoire Law to completely dissipate and he was sent sailing in Natsu's direction.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art Revision -"

Hades' eyes widened in utter disbelief as he sensed his imminent demise approaching him. 'No! I'm not going to make it!'

"Crimson Lotus: Exploding Lightning Blade!"

With a swing of his arms, Natsu unleashed a massive vortex of fire and lightning that completely engulfed Hades, causing him to cry out in sheer agony as the attack completely blew him away and lit up the entire ship with a blanket of white.

By the time the light had begun to recede, everyone couldn't hold back their smiles as they Hades crash landed onto the opposite end of the ship, he eyes were as wide as saucers and his mouth was completely agape, but he showed no sign of getting back up this time.

Natsu remained standing for a few more seconds, staring at Hades' motionless body, before collapsing onto his hands and knees with a soft grunt.

"We did it, Gramps... We showed 'em who's boss." the Dragon Slayer muttered while clenching his fists against the floor. "We put everything on the line, and we showed 'em the power of our guild."

Laxus sat up on the floor and smiled at his words.

Then, Natsu threw his arms into the air and let out a powerful yell to the heavens. "FAIRY TAIL IS THE GREATEST~!"

Meanwhile, within the lower decks of the ship, SpaceGodzilla felt the shaking from the battle above cease. His senses on high alert, he had previously felt eleven different individual sources of power battling it out above him. That is, until he sensed one of those sources grow incredibly weak.

And he already knew who's it was.

"It would seem that Hades has been defeated." he spoke aloud to himself. "And with that, all of Grimoire Heart has also been defeated."

He turned his attention towards the strange device stationed in the center of the room as a crocked smile stretched across his face.

"Everything is gone according to plan. Now it's time I play my final part."

Back at the Base Camp, things were slightly bittersweet for everyone. Although Ganimes and Dagahra had been finally defeated and Gaira seemed to no longer be a threat to them, Kumonga and Sanda had both been seriously wounded. Kumonga's leg had been sliced clean off because of Ganimes and Sanda had suffered a serious burn on his chest area from defending his brother from Dagahra's Irabushan Beam.

All in all, it wasn't looking quite good for either of them.

"Looks like he's lost a lot of blood." Cana said as she inspected Kumonga, who was simply groaning in pain while lying on the ground.

"We've gotta seal the wound before he loses more." Levy suggested before pulling out a roll of bandages she had gotten from the medical tent.

As she and Lisanna quickly went to work on wrapping up the wound, the spider kaiju let out another weak groan. "My...leg..."

"Hang in there, Kumonga." Baragon called from the side.

Bickslow turned to Gorosaurus. "Is he gonna be okay?"

"I'm not sure. That wound looks pretty severe." he replied with a look of concern.

"But this isn't the first time Kumonga's lost a leg, so he should be able to pull through." Kamoebas assured.

That last comment made Freed's eyes widen slightly as he turned to the turtle kaiju. "Wait, you mean that he's lost legs before?"

Sitting on top of Mothra Leo's head, the Shobijin nodded. "That's correct. Kumonga has had a history of losing limbs duirng battles with other kaiju."

"Hmm, that's right. One was from Godzilla a while back and the other from Gigan." Kamoebas confirmed.

"But it looks like Ganimes' attack was just one too many for him." Gorosaurus said in a regretful tone.

Lisanna shook her head in fierce denial. "But we've gotta do something!"

"Need...food..."

Levy looked down at Kumonga when she heard him say that. "Food?"

"Grow...leg...back..." he managed to wheeze out.

Kamoebas' eyes lit up with realization. "He needs something to eat! That will give him the energy his body needs to grow his leg back."

Gajeel jerked his thumb over towards where the unconscious forms of Kawazu laid. "Well, we could always get Chicken Little over there to cough up some of his eggs, but it looks like he's out cold."

"Then what are we supposed to do to feed him then?" Lisanna asked.

Suddenly, they jolted with surprise when something landed in the middle of the group in front of Kumonga, which they realized to their disgust was Kumonga's severed leg. They all turned to see who had thrown and saw that it was Gaira.

"You may wanna chow down if you want that leg back." he spoke in a rather casual manner.

His words both shocked and further disgusted the Fairy Tail Mages. Cana pointed at him in an angry manner. "Is something wrong with you?! You can't force him to eat his own leg!"

"That's just sick!" Bickslow added.

However, the soon noticed that Kumonga started to stir a little before he suddenly lunged towards his severed leg and began to chow down willingly.

"Leg...MIIINNEE!"

The Fairy Tail Mages looked on in even more disgust while the Earth Defenders, Gaira and the Shobijin showed almost no reaction whatsoever.

"Yeeeaahh, this isn't the first time he's done this." Kamoebas drawled out as Elfman and Bickslow's faces began to turn a light shade of green.

"Eww." Levy said in disgust.

"Gross." Lisanna added before looking away.

"That's just nasty." Bickslow commented.

Elfman covered his mouth with his hand as his cheeks started to look a little puffy. "I think I'm gonna blow chunks."

Cana turned to the other Earth Defenders, but noticed the lack of reaction on their faces. "How are you guys not grossed out by this?"

"We are grossed out." Gorosaurus replied. " We've just had to get used to get used to it back on Terra."

"Trust us, he's eaten worse things." Kamoebas added.

Baragon nodded. "That's for sure."

Soon, Kumonga finished and let out a heavy sigh as he was already began to feel much better than he did before. However, when he turned around, he became slightly confused by the disgusted expressions on the humans faces.

"What? All spiders do it... I think."

Back at what was left of the Grimoire Heart Airship, Team Natsu, Godzilla, Rodan, Anguirus and Caesar all gathered around each other, smiling over their victory over Hades.

"I'm glad that's finally over." Gray said with a satisfactory smile.

"Yeah." Erza replied with her own smile as she Requiped back to her Heart Kreuz Armor.

Wendy looked up at Rodan with a hopeful smile. "So this means we won, right?"

Rodan gave a grin before playfully ruffling the young Dragon Slayer's head. "You bet this means we won, kid!"

"It was tough, but we still managed to pull through." Caesar commented with a sigh of exhaustion.

"Yeah. Still, at least it's all over now." Anguirus replied with a mild smirk.

Lucy knelt down beside Natsu and held his scarf out to him. "Here, you might want this."

Natsu grinned as he took it. "Thanks! It is a little chilly."

Meanwhile, Godzilla glanced over at Laxus, who was sitting cross-legged on the ground with his arms on his knees. "You feeling alright?"

"I've been better." Laxus replied halfheartedly before he looked back at him. "By the way, never got your name."

"It's Godzilla."

"Godzilla, huh?" the blonde male repeated before he gave a slight smirk. "You know, you're a real monster, you know that?"

Godzilla chuckled in response. "So I've been told."

"Guys!"

Everyone turned and noticed the Exceeds rushing towards them with wide smiles.

"Haha!" Happy cheered. "Mission complete!"

Natsu smiled. "Happy!"

Wendy gave a cheerful smile. "Carla!"

"It was difficult, but we somehow managed to destroy the power source."

Lily approached by her side. "And judging from the looks of it, I'd say you completely your objective too."

Gray crossed his arms. "You got that right."

While Team Natsu and the Exceeds reunited, Godzilla focused his attention up at the sky, noticing that the dark clouds still blotted out the sky. However, as he started at them, he couldn't help but get an eerie feeling from them, as though they were an omen for even more terrible things to come.

"Chief?" Rodan asked as he approached his leader. "You okay?"

"..." Godzilla remained silent, his attention still focused on the sky. While it felt like everything was all over now, he had a lingering feeling in his mind that something was still missing. "I don't know what it is, but I have the strange feeling that things aren't over yet."

Caesar raised an eyebrow as he stood beside Rodan. "What do you mean? Hades and Grimoire Heart have all been defeated. So have the Earth Conquerors."

"But have they really all been defeated?"

Anguirus was slightly confused by what he meant until his eyes widened. "You don't mean..."

Natsu stood up with a big smile while Happy perched himself onto his shoulder. "All right! Lets head back to the others and-"

BOOOOOM!

Suddenly, the flooring on the opposite end of the ship deck, close to where Hades' body laid, exploded as pieces of wood and steel flew all over the place, catching Team Natsu, Laxus and the Kaiju off guard.

"What the...?" Gray muttered in confusion.

Erza's eyes narrowed with suspicion. "What's happening now?"

"Did you really think it was all over?"

Godzilla's eyes instantly went wide, as did the other Defenders beside him.

"...I should have known." the King of the Monsters growled, his shock turning to pure anger.

Slowly, a figure appeared levitating out of the hole, it's body obscured by the dust before a gust of wind blew it away, revealing the newcomer in his entirety. Everyone instantly gasped with utter shock as they witnessed the figure float out of the hole before landing with a soft thud on the floor, his piercing orange eyes staring directly at Godzilla while giving a twisted smile.

"Good to see you again, brother."

Godzilla's temper was already beginning to flare by this point, his internal core boiling with power that was ready to be fully unleashed. He gave an unyielding glare.

"SpaceGodzilla..."

Back at the Base Camp, Gaira was sitting beside his brother, who had been placed underneath the medical tent along with Makarov, Mirajane, Evergreen and Zilla. Sanda had his upper torso wrapped in bandages and the soft rising and falling of his chest confirmed that he was breathing. The Shobijin had examined him and assured him that he would live, but required sleep in order to recover.

But despite that, it still didn't help the aching the Green Gargantua was feeling inside. Even if the two of them got into a few major scraps now and again or never saw eye-to-eye when it came to their opinions on humans, he still cared about Sanda. He couldn't help but feel like he had failed him as a brother for not being able to protect him or for not realizing that Sanda was being used by SpaceGodzilla. Gaira felt like a failure in every shape and form.

"He doing alright?" Elfman asked as he approached and sat beside the former Conqueror.

"He'll pull through." Gaira responded before giving a heavy sigh. "Still, it's my fault that he got hurt in the first place. Even though he's my brother, I wasn't able to protect him."

The Take-Over Mage gave a subtle nod. "Yeah, I know that feeling too."

Gaira looked at him with surprise. "How so?"

"I can't tell you how many times I've tried to protect my sisters, only for me to fail miserably." he replied with a solemn look. "I even thought I accidentally killed Lisanna a few years back, and yet she came back to us without any resentment towards me." he turned to look at Mirajane, who was still sound asleep. "I keep vowing to do my best to keep them safe, but I wonder just how long I'll be able to keep that promise for."

The Green Gargantua took Elfman's words at heart before looking back to his brother. "Y'know, maybe we aren't so different, you and I."

Elfman gave a small chuckle in response. "Heh, yeah. Maybe so."

Meanwhile, Mothra Leo sat in front of Lea's cocoon, still patiently waiting for when his sister will emerge while the Shobijin sat atop his head still, their eyes glued to the cocoon.

Lisanna approached them and knelt down beside Leo. "How's she hanging?"

"It is difficult to say." the Shobijin replied in unison. "Even after all we have done, I'm afraid there's no telling how much longer until Mothra Lea will emerge."

"Hey, don't give up hope just yet." Lisanna said with an assuring smile. "I'm still hopeful that Mira will wake up soon, and I know that Lea will wake up soon as well. Just have faith."

Leo gave a soft chirp of gratitude while the Shobijin smiled gratefully. "You truly are a kind soul, Lisanna Strauss. Thank you for everything."

Lisanna smiled back, but then something behind Leo caught her attention and her eyes widened. "GET DOWN!"

The youngest Strauss sibling quickly scooped up Leo in her arms before jumping back as two purple beams of energy shot towards them and blasted the ground they had just been standing on earlier. The noise caught the attention of the others, who quickly rushed over to them.

"What happened?!" Cana called out.

"I don't know!" Lisanna yelled back with Mothra Leo still in her arms. "Something just came out of nowhere and tried to attack us!"

Baragon looked around fiercely while looking like he was itching for a fight. "Alright! Who's there?! Come out and face us!"

Then, something in the air caught Levy's attention as she pointed towards it. "Hey, what's that?!"

The others looked towards where Levy pointed they could make a dark, strangely shaped object approaching despite the equally dark storm clouds above them. However, as the object got closer, their eyes widened in disbelief.

"Is that..." Cana started.

"It can't be." Kamoeabas muttered in shock.

"Why is HE here?!" Baragon exclaimed.

Gorosaurus noticed a faint glow come off the the object and it didn't take him long to realize what it was. "EVERYONE TAKE COVER!"

As soon as the therapod kaiju gave his warning, the figure released even more blasts of purple energy towards them. The group quickly scattered with yells of fear and surprise as they ducked for cover to avoid getting bombarded by the attacks. The beams struck the ground and exploded upon impact, sending chard dirt and debris flying all over the place.

Once the attacks ceased, everyone looked up to see their attacker touch down in the clearing while kicking up a large amount of dust. Bright red eyes could be see peering out from withing the dust before the figure gave a flap of its wings and blew lingering dust away, revealing their attacker.

The Shobijin's eyes trembled with fear while Mothra Leo's body began to shake with dread at the sight of the newcomer.

"It...It cannot be." the Shobijin muttered.

Battra glared ahead at the humans and kaiju before him, his eyes and horns glowing with mighty fury.

"Humans..." he growled venomously, prompting the group to get into fighting positions. "Prepare for your destruction."

Elsewhere:

As the final battles of Tenrou Island appeared inevitable, in a completely separate dimension, a familiar group of towering beings observed what was happening through their large crystal orb.

"It would appear the final battle is approaching." Gigamoth stated.

Irokus nodded. "It would appear so. And I'm afraid that in their current states, their chances of victory are quite slim."

"What should we do then?" Orikalkos inquired. "If nothing is done about this, they'll most likely die."

"I'm afraid with our current power, there's nothing we can do." Gamera said regretfully.

"No." Orochi spoke, grabbing the attention of his fellow guardians. "There is still one thing we can do."

Realizing what he was saying, Raiga's eyes widened. "Orochi, you're not suggesting we..."

"I am, Raiga." the eight-headed dragon confirmed. "We must use THAT!"

His words were met with shocked expressions from his siblings before Tornaq spoke up. "But Orochi, we've never attempted something like that before! There's no telling if it will succeed or not!"

Orochi nodded. "You are correct in that regard, Tornaq. However, given how grave the situation has become, I'm afraid that we have run out of other options by this point."

"I agree with Orochi." Gigamoth said. "It may be a long shot, but we have no other choices."

Orochi thanked the Guardian of Earth with a grateful nod before looking to the other guardians. "Now then, are we all in agreement then?"

He was met with many confirming nods from the others and his face went firmly serious as he turned to face the crystal orb again, the image within now focused on the cocoon of Mothra Lea.

"Then let us prepare."

Tenrou Island:

Back on the airship, Godzilla and his fellow Earth Defenders stood firm as he glared hatefully towards SpaceGodzilla, who returned the glare with a dark smirk. Nearby, Team Natsu and Laxus could only stare in shock as the leader of the Earth Conquerors himself made his presence known to them.

"It's...It's him." Lucy said with fear in her voice, her body shaking like a leaf.

Erza glared in shock as she felt her arms tremble. "We were careless... How could we have possibly forgotten about him?!"

"Dammit!" Gray cursed. "And I don't have enough Magic Power to keep fighting!"

Wendy said nothing, as she was completely petrified with fear and unable to bring herself to say anything.

Natsu simply glared ahead at the smirking face of SpaceGodzilla as he recalled witnessing all of the times the Celestial Saurian had invaded Godzilla's home and attempted to kill the King of the Monsters. The thought of it was making his body shake with anger, not wanting to have to see his Kaiju friend go through something like that again.

"You're looking well, brother." SpaceGodzilla said in a casual tone. "I trust you've been taking good care of yourself?"

"And what would you have to gain in learning about my well being?" Godzilla asked cautiously, his glare not letting up.

"Come now, brother. There's no need for such hostility. After all, I did come all this way just to see you."

Rodan stepped forward and joined his leader in glaring at the Celestial Saurian. "Cut the crap already, freak show! If you really ever cared about him, then you never would've tried to kill him, would you?!"

"You so much as lay one claw on our leader and it'll be the last thing you do!" King Caesar added.

Anguirus snarled as he looked like he was preparing to charge at SpaceGodzilla. "All you've ever done is attack our home and cause Godzilla pain over and over again! If you think we'd overlook something like that so easily, then you're sorely mistaken."

"Now now, you do know such anger can be bad for your health, yes?" SpaceGodzilla said a calm tone.

"Enough!" Godzilla snapped as he continued to glare at his 'brother'. "What do you want, SpaceGodzilla?"

"It's simple, really. I've come to renegotiate my offer from before." he replied as he held out his hand. "I would like you to join me in helping take back Terra and turn it into the wonderful Utopia was always meant to be for us. What do you say?"

Rodan gave a sarcastic scoff. "Utopia?! You're still going on about that whole 'Kaiju supremacy' crap?! Well here's our answer then: no way!"

Anguirus nodded in agreement. "The Earth Defenders were formed to promote coexistence with the human race, and yet all you and your Conquerors seem to care about is wiping them all out!"

"Coexistence?" SpaceGodzilla repeated. "Do you honestly believe something like will ever happen? Time after time, us kaiju have always been hunted by humanity across the globe so that they can simply eradicate us. I see no reason that your little 'coexistence' will ever come to be."

A groan from beside him caused him to turn his attention away from Godzilla and glance down at Hades, who was already starting to come to his sense.

"S-SpaceGodzilla...He-Help me, please..." he managed to let out despite the excruciating pain he was still in from Natsu's attack. "We...we can still defeat these brats...together."

The leader of the Earth Conquerors cocked his eye. "Together, you say?"

"Y-Yes. Isn't that why...we formed this alliance? To defeat them together? So please...help me defeat them and-"

Without warning, Hades' body suddenly started to levitate off of the ground by an invisible before he was slammed against a nearby wall, causing him to gag in pain. He looked up to see the crest on SpaceGodzilla's forehead glowing while said kaiju stared at him with a neutral expression.

"Don't take me for a fool, Hades." SpaceGodzilla said, his tone suddenly become more serious. "Did you honestly believe you could hide all of your little secrets from me? I knew what you were planning to do to us had we succeeded."

Hades' eyes widened.

"You intended to turn myself and my subordinates into your slaves once you had acquired Zeref, didn't you? You wished to use us as pawns to further cement your little 'Grand Magic World'. Admit it, you never intended to keep your word."

The Celestial Saurian flicked his wrist and two and two large crystals shot up out of the ground in front of Hades in an X formation, pinning him to the wall. Hades was completely powerless to resist due to his body still being too weak and his Magic Power completely drained, thus leaving him to do nothing but hang limply against the wall as the crystal held him in place.

"Consider this alliance terminated."

SpaceGodzilla turned to face Team Natsu and Godzilla's group. "Do you understand what I mean now, brother? No matter what, even on different worlds, humans will still do everything in their power to either control us, kill us, or both. That is why we absolutely must eradicate them, so that they cannot eradicate us."

"Do you honestly believe that I'll ever side with you?!" Godzilla yelled. "I may have had to go through suffering because of humans, but I'm trying to put that in the past! No matter what you try to say, I'll never allow you to harm them!"

"Not even if I showed you this?" SpaceGodzilla raised his left arm as an object surrounded with a green aura floated out of the hole he had come from before landed next to him with a loud thud.

Upon seeing the object in question, Hades gaped in shock. "Th-That's..."

"Indeed it is, Hades." SpaceGodzilla said as he glanced back at him with a smirk. "Did you really think you could hide this from me forever? While you were up here batting these maggots, I took the liberty of exploring your warship when I found this securely tucked away."

Rodan cocked his head to the side in confusion. "Uh, what even is it?"

The leader of the Earth Conquerors turned back towards the opposing group. "This, my fellow Kaiju, is what Grimoire Heart used to bring us to this world in the first place."

That revelation left the four Earth Defenders utterly speechless as they stared at the machine, a square-shaped podium with a golden spike sticking up from all four corners and a large white orb of crackling energy floating in the center.

"...What?" Godzilla inquired in shock.

"This is what the humans used to forcefully remove us from Terra and bring us to this world." SpaceGodzilla repeated. "Now that is in my possession, we can use it to leave this primitive planet return to Terra together."

Anguirus was the first to recover from the shock and glared at SpaceGodzilla. "And what happens after that?"

"Obviously, we then destroy the human race and take back the earth." he answered.

"Do you really think we'd be stupid enough to allow something like that?!" Rodan shouted angrily.

SpaceGodzilla's eyes narrowed at their continued defiance. "I don't think you understand just what is at stake here. The Humans has been the dominant species on Terra for thousands of years, and look at what has become of it as a result. They swarm across the planet like cockroaches, unable to sustain an over-expanding population. They choke the air with their toxic fumes. They have poisoned the seas. They have robbed the land of its lushness. They wage endless war against each other, determined to destroy each other over petty squabbles. And because of their idiocy, many lives have been snuffed out. Mass extinction is upon us, brother. The mass extinction the humans feared has already begun, and they are the cause. They are the infection killing Terra. If they go unchecked, the humans will turn Terra into a dead, decayed world. However, like all living creature, Terra unleashed a fever to fight against an infection."

"And what's that?" Caesar inquired cautiously

"I think you are well aware of what that is." SpaceGodzilla replied "It created us, the Kaiju. We bring balance to Terra, and when the natural order is disrupted, we were made to put it back in its place. They are the plague, and we are the cure. Once the humans are gone, Terra will heal and, like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, new life will spring fourth. Think about it. The climate will no longer be tampered by their gasses. The oceans will team with life as in days far gone. In place of cities, the green will return to Terra, absorbing the carbon and restoring the pure air. Species on the brink of extinction will thrive in this…Garden of Eden."

"This is a dangerous path!" Godzilla roared in anger. "You are gambling with live of billions! Yes, many humans be cruel and malicious, but not all humans are same!"

SpaceGodzilla glared at him. "And how would you know, brother? As far as I know, you've experienced nothing but the cruelty of humanity. How could you possibly know that they're not as I've described them?"

Godzilla remained silent for a brief moment as he thought back to when his view on humanity first changed. He still remembered the first human that made him realize the true importance of humanities existence

The Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Japan; Terran Realm - January, 2015:

Within the cold depths of the Pacific, a titan stirred.

Slowly, it cracked open an eye, then another. Shudders rolled across its massive body as life returned to its long-dormant limbs, and it rose to its feet groggily. The beast didn't know how much had past since the invasion, nor did he care.

All he knew was that the danger of the celestial invaders was over, at least for the time being. He had finally awoken after going into slumber following the difficult conflict against the colossal behemoth known as Magita, the scars and wounds he suffered during the battle having all but healed completely.

However, a new presence could be felt, passing through the cold salty seawater like wind in the air. It appeared to be calling out to something nearby.

No, it was calling to him specifically.

Whatever it was, it was trying to get his attention, to communicate with him through his mind. It didn't feel like an enemy, but instead felt somewhat familiar to him.

As he took in the feeling, he soon realized just what it was. Without much delay, the titan kicked his feet off of the ocean floor, his long tail propelling himself up towards the surface, his advanced senses directing him towards the exact location of the source of the message.

No, more like towards the one sending the message.

Meanwhile, a young woman in her early 30's of Japanese descent with long black jet-black hair and brown eyes stood at the front of the battleship USS Saratoga, staring out at the calm ocean surface with a look of anticipation. It was as if she was expecting something to appear.

Nearby, another Japanese man in his late 50's with black hair stood beside a woman in her late 30's with brown hair and brown eyes as well as a dark skinned man in his mid 40's with dark hair and a small goatee. They all observed the Japanese woman as she continued to look out over the sea.

"Thank you again for helping us get here, Commander Chavez." the brown-haired woman said to the dark skinned man. "We apologize for any inconveniences we may have caused because of our request."

Chavez shook his head. "It's not a problem at all, Dr. Graham. You know you two are more than welcome on board with us.I just wasn't expecting you to have her on board."

He pointed towards the woman at the front of the ship, to which Graham replied, "Miss Saegusa personally requested us to bring her here. We believe she means to try to make contact with Godzilla."

"I see. Still though, I find it hard to believe that she's really a psychic." Chavez said. "But then again, I've a lot of things while working with Woods, so I guess it wouldn't be all that crazy."

"Ah yes, I'd like to express my condolences over Commander Woods." Graham said with a sympathetic look. "His death must've been hard for you."

Chavez shook his head once again. "It's nothing to apologize over, Doctor. Steven knew the risks that came with this line of work, and I guarantee he didn't have any regrets."

The Japanese man turned to Chavez. "I am sure he would be very proud of you, Commander."

"Yeah, I hope so too." the CKR commander said. "He personally requested that I take over for him, so I don't plan on screwing this up for him."

"SIR!" a voice called down to them, causing the three to turn around to see a CKR soldier standing outside the door to the bridge. "Sonar systems just picked up a large object heading straight towards us! It could be Godzilla!"

That news quickly got their attention as they turned to look at each other. Chavez nodded before looking back up to the soldier. "Alright! Tell 'em to bring it to a stop! Remember, do NOT attack unless we know for sure if he plans on attacking!"

"Roger!" the soldier replied before running back into the bridge to give the others inside the orders from their commanded. Not long after, the ship eventually came to a slow and steady halt, leaving it softy drifting along the ocean surface.

Graham turned to look at the Japanese, who was staring ahead at the woman at the front while tightly holding an old pocket watch in his right hand, his thumb gently caressing the face.

"Sensei..." Graham began.

"I know." he replied as he placed the watch back in his coat pocket. "Let's leave it to Miki."

Miki Saegusa, the Japanese woman who was looking out from the front of the ship, glanced across the calming surface with watchful eyes, waiting for him to appear before her. It had already been four years since she last tried to make contact with him after he disappeared following the defeat of the Devonian Empire, but had gotten zero response despite her attempts, leaving her to fear he have been dead. But then, just last year, he had finally returned, managing to defeat the hoarding invasion of the Cryogs and the Trilopods before disappearing once again, most likely to recover from the grueling battle.

She was now ready to meet him again. Ready to meet with her friend.

Soon, Miki noticed a bulge in the ocean appear just about several hundred yards away from the ship before moving towards them. As it slowly got closer, three rows of white dorsal plates broke the surface and slice through the water like a giant sharks fin. Despite ordering the crew not to engage, Chavez couldn't help but feel slightly on edge at the sight.

On the other hand, Miki, Graham and the Japanese man remained calm and composed without an ounce of fear on their faces.

Eventually, the dorsal spines came to a sudden halt a few feet away from the ships bow, remaining completely motionless from a few moments. It wasn't long until the spines then began to slowly rise as a long tail breached the surface from behind, followed by a saurian-like head connected to a bulky upper torso with a broad chest covered in charcoal grey scales and decent sized arms with hands tipped with dagger-like claws.

Seawater slowly cascaded off of the creatures body as it rose up. Despite the lower-half of its body still submerged underwater, its height was still quite intimidating. The titan let out a deep throat growl before rearing its head up and delivering a powerful roar that pierced the air.

The King of the Monsters, Godzilla, had appeared.

Miki continued to look calm as the colossal being lowered his head, eventually making eye contact with the young Japanese woman. Slowly, he lowered his head towards the bow of the ship where she stood, getting quite close to her.

Chavez could feel his anxiety start to rise a little as he watched the towering Kaiju get closer, but held his tongue to avoid ruining whatever intentions Miki had or worse, possibly antagonize him into attacking the ship and the crew.

Graham and the Japanese man continued to remained calm as Godzilla eventually paused while staring down at the black-haired psychic. This the first time either of them had been this close to the famous Kaiju King, but did their best to contain their emotions for a later time as to not ruin the moment.

Godzilla and Miki's eyes remained locked on to each other in silence aside from occasional sounds of the Kaiju's breathing and the gentle waves hitting the sides of the ship. Despite the fact that she was staring at a 100 meter tall titan that could tear down entire cities, Miki showed no fear towards him. In fact, the longer she stared into Godzilla's eyes, the more calm she felt, much like how a child would feel safe under the protective watch of their father.

'Miki.'

A deep voice suddenly echoed through her skull, but again, the woman wasn't scared at all. Instead, she gave a soft smile in response.

'Godzilla.'

After giving their telepathic greetings to each other, Godzilla gave a look akin to a smile. 'You're looking well.'

Miki nodded. 'I could say the same for you. Have you been well?'

'Never better. Took some time to fully recover after the Trilopod War, but I'll survive.'

'I see.' the psychic replied. 'By the way, I heard a lot of Kaiju have been gathering on the Monster Islands. I'm guess you've decided to make yourselves at home there?'

Godzilla chuckled. 'You could say that. After it was abandoned, we figured we could use a new place to call home. Also, we needed a place where Gorosaurus and Caesar would feel safe since they're just recently awoke from their slumbers.'

'Ah, I understand. That does make sense.' Miki said. 'Either way, I'm glad to know that you're alright.'

Godzilla nodded as an awkward silence spread between them, neither feeling quite sure of what to say next. That is, until Godzilla spoke up through the telepathic link.

'There's something I should probably tell you.'

'What is it?" she asked, now feeling somewhat curious about what her friend wanted to say.

'...Me and the others have decided to form a faction.'

That news surprised Miki to the point that she almost thought she had misheard him. 'I'm-I'm sorry, what do you mean?'

'Myself and the others on Monster Island have decided to create a faction. A team, so to speak.'

Miki couldn't detect any humor in his tone, meaning he was being dead serious. 'Why is that?'

Godzilla paused for a brief moment before speaking again. '...Do you remember when you and I first made contact?'

The black-haired psychic wasn't quite sure why he was asking her that, but decided to go along with it.

'I do. It was a year after the Space Kaiju invaded when you killed the one called Kaiser Ghidorah. I was recruited by the military to use my psychic powers to keep you away from the cities. Back then, I was still going through the early stages of my powers, so often times they worked, but other times they didn't.'

The Kaiju King nodded, recalling the several times he had received Miki's telepathic warnings to keep away from the major cities. Sometimes he listened out of instinct or curiosity, but the next time he would just ignore them.

'Do you also remember the first time we met face to face?' he asked again.

Miki paused, thinking back to said event back in 2010, before Godzilla was supposedly pronounced dead back during the Devonian incident. 'Yeah... When our minds directly connected. I saw your past, and you saw mine.'

'It was the first time I had seen the world through the eyes of a human. For some reason though, watching it made me feel...guilty.' Godzilla spoke softly. 'Seeing the happiness you once had, only to have it taken away in an instant. I'm...I'm sorry."

'You have nothing to apologize for.' Miki said, shaking her head. 'It wasn't you who killed my family. It was Ghidorah.'

'No matter what Ghidorah did, I still feel partly responsible. I could have prevented his attack before it started, had I cared enough back then.'

The psychic beauty stepped forward closer to Godzilla. Near the back, Chavez looked like he was about to say something, but was stopped when the Japanese man, held his arm up to stop him. The CKR commander turned to him and saw the man give him a look that told him to trust Miki.

Miki brought her hand up and gently placed it against Godzilla's snout, feeling the smooth leathery skin of his face. 'That was back then, and this is now. You can still change, Godzilla. You may not believe it, but there are some out there who see you as a hero because of what you did back in Los Angeles.'

The King of the Monsters looked at her with a look of surprise. 'They...do?'

'Yes. You rallied the others to your side and saved the world from the Trilopod invasion. It's because of what you did that so many people are still alive to see another tomorrow. That's something you should be proud of.'

Godzilla let her words sink in for a minute before saying, 'Five years ago, you once said that if I changed my ways, I would be saving the creatures that took my old life from me. Did you really mean that?'

Miki nodded. 'Sometimes, the only way to move on from pain and tragedy is by making peace with the demons that created them. It may be a difficult process at first, but it proves that we're all capable of changing who we are.'

'...' Godzilla again took in her words, finding something in them that resonated within him. 'Making peace...'

'I'll prove it.' the Japanese woman said as she glanced over her shoulder to the three people behind him, more specifically to the Japanese man among them. Seeing her gaze on him, he cautiously approached the two, with Godzilla peering up at him. 'Godzilla, this is man is a close friend of mine, Dr. Ishirō Serizawa.'

That name sounded somewhat familiar to the King of the Monsters. Sure enough, he remembered. Serizawa was the same surname as Daisuke Serizawa, the man that killed him back in 1954. Could this man possibly be related to him in some way? And if he was, did that mean he possibly had any hatred towards him?

As Serizawa stopped by Miki's side, she took his hand and slowly guided it to Godzilla's face before placing it against his snout, all while she removed her own hand. Godzilla and Serizawa's eyes met and sure enough, the Kaiju King could in fact see something in the Japanese man. However, what he saw in his eyes wasn't hatred or resentment.

Rather, he saw respect, remorse, and understanding.

Just by looking at this man, he could see tranquility in his eyes similar to that of when he first met Miki. There was absolutely no malice in him whatsoever. He glanced up towards Graham and Chavez and, again, he sensed no malice.

Did this mean that not all humans are as bad as he had once thought? Were there really some that saw him as a hero? Where there really some that were related to those that had died because of him that held no malice for him?

Well, from what he saw before him right now, the answers to those questions were all too clear to him.

After a few moments of silence, Godzilla eventually moved his head back while Serizawa lowered his hand. The King of the Monsters stared at the man for few more moments before looking towards Miki.

'Miki...Thank you.'

'Anything for you, Godzilla.'

Godzilla nodded before giving her three companions another passing glance. He then slowly turned around and sank back into the ocean, swimming the opposite direction of the ship. Once he completely disappeared beneath the waves, Miki turned to Serizawa.

"Thank you doctor, for letting me see him again."

"It is my pleasure. Thank you for allowing me this moment." he replied with a smile.

It was then that Graham approached her. "You know Miss Saegusa, it's still not too late to accept our invitation if your interested. MONARCH could always use someone of your special talents."

Miki merely smiled at her. "Thank you Dr. Graham, but I'm gonna think about it a little longer."

Dr. Serizawa nodded, accepting her response before turning to Chavez. "We're done here, commander. Take us home."

"You've got it." he replied as he turned and headed up towards the bridge with Serizawa and Graham following close behind.

Miki, on the other hand, stayed behind for a little longer to stare at the area where Godzilla had disappeared. As she did, her smile brightened.

"If there really is a chance for man and monster to coexist, I know you'll be able to make it possible."

Tenrou Island, Present day:

"...Because Miki Saegus didn't befriend a monster."

Godzilla's reply caught everyone's attention, especially SpaceGodzilla, until he went on. "She lost everything that made her happy because of me, and yet she never held any sort of grudge. She was gifted with abilities she never asked for, and yet was able to help me understand because of them. She showed me that deep down, not all humans are the same. Yes, some may hate and despise us because of our past actions, but some respect us or even see us as heroes. It was thanks to Miki Saegusa that I believe that humans and monsters have a chance at living in peace side by side."

"..." SpaceGodzilla remained silent for a short moment as he allowed his brothers words to sink in before his expression became one of disappointment.

"So, you still intend to stand against me, despite everything I have told you? So be it then. Since you will not join me, I have no choice but to destroy you and your allies as well."

He then raised his arms as thunder began to boom overhead. "It would seem that I have to use my contingency plan sooner than planned. My apologies brother, but this is where you fall."

Suddenly, a light from above caught everyone's attention and caused them to look up, only to see what looked like a mass golden particles floating down from the clouds.

"What...is that?" Wendy inquired.

Gray looked slightly confused. "Is it dust?"

Lucy shook her head. "No, it looks more like...spores?"

Carla's eyes went wide as she watched the golden particles descend. It brought her back to something she had seen with her clairvoyance during the announcement for the participants of the S-Class Trial back at the guild.

Upon hearing that last word from Lucy, Godzilla's expression became one of bewilderment as he turned back to SpaceGodzilla. "SpaceGodzilla, you didn't..."

"Oh, but I did, brother." SpaceGodzilla confirmed. "I'll admit, it was somewhat of a hassle convincing her to cooperate with me, but it was well worth it in the end."

Erza looked back at the Celestial Saurian with a cautious look. "What do you mean by 'her'?"

As she asked that, the spores descended towards them before they drifted over the side of the ship and into the deep blue ocean. Then suddenly, they felt the ship start to shake and rock violently, causing both Team Natsu and Godzilla's group to stumble.

"Wh-What's happening?!" Happy exclaimed as he held onto Natsu for support.

Carla, who was being held by Wendy, looked around. "An earthquake?!"

"Everyone hold on!" Lily called out.

As the shaking continued, SpaceGodzilla remained still and calm before he slowly raised his arms and spread them with a loud cry.

"RISE, BIOLLANTE!"

As soon as he finished saying that, a massive form began to slowly rise up from the sea, casting a looming shadow over the entire airship and everyone on board. The others could do nothing but look on with gaped mouths and wide eyes as the figure continued to rise higher and higher, revealing more of itself as it opened its glowing yellow eyes.

The creature had a massive crocodile-like head with a mouth filled with knife-like teeth, even on its interior lining. Three large tusks protruded from both sides of the fulcrum-region of its maw and multiple vines waved around it, some having sharp spear-like ends while others had small sharp-toothed mouths similar to a venus fly trap. On its body was a large yellow and reddish-orange brain-like structure that was protected by a tangled mess of thick vines and plant tissue.

Frankly, it looked like an absolute abomination of biological science!

The towering creature slowly raised its head and opened its gaping jaws before releasing a powerful cry that spread across the island.

"MIRRRRRAAAAAAWWWWWW!"

Everyone except for SpaceGodzill and Hades (who was still pinned to the wall) was forced to cover their ears to avoid the risk of being deafened by the piercing roar.

"What the hell is that thing?!" Natsu yelled over the creatures cry.

"It's freaking huge!" Gray exclaimed in shock.

Godzilla whipped his head back to SpaceGodzilla. "What have you done, SpaceGodzilla?!"

"Since you refuse to stand by my side and help me destroy the humans, I've decided to leave you in the care of your dear sister." he replied with yet another smirk.

That last word left Team Natsu, Laxus and the Exceeds gobsmacked as they turned towards Godzilla, who continued to glare at his brother.

"Godzilla, you have...a sister?" Lucy inquired with surprise.

"And why is your sister so big and scary looking?!" Happy added in fright.

Biollante ceased her cries before she lowered her massive crocodile-like head and focused her gaze towards the tiny beings on the ship. As her gaze shifted from one to the other, she eventually found herself staring at her older brother, Godzilla. The one who had nearly killed her when they last met 6 years prior. The one who had forced her to retreat into Terra's atmosphere and remain in hiding since then. With her anger boiling to the surface, the Bio Beast let out another wailing cry as she raised her vines in preparation to attack.

"Aw, come on!" Rodan exclaimed. "How come SHE got to stay in her regular size?! It feels like fighting Magita all over again!"

"Focus Rodan! We have to think of something to do!" King Caesar barked at his ally.

Anguirus looked at Caesar and then back at Biollante. "What can we supposed to?! In our current states, we don't stand a chance against her!"

SpaceGodzilla's smirk widened, seeing that Godzilla and his allies were currently powerless since they had no way of reverting back to their original sizes. He had been initially surprised when he found that Biollante was the only one that had somehow managed to retain her normal size, but believed that it may have been possibly due to the fact that she had arrived in her spore form rather than her normal physical form.

He raised his left hand and pointed it towards the group. "Biollante. Destroy them."

The kaiju/plant hybrid let out a growl of compliance as she brought her vines back in preparation to strike. Godzilla saw this and turned to the others.

"EVERYONE BRACE!"

Team Natsu didn't need to be told twice and quickly hunkered down along with Laxus and the Exceeds. Anguirus, Rodan and Caesar joined them as they ducked to the ground. Biollante let out yet another piercing cry and she prepared to strike at her enemies

But just as she was about to attack, a blinding light suddenly erupted from the island just to her left, causing her to roar in surprise while also closing her eyes to avoid being blinded by the godly rays.

"What?!" SpaceGodzilla exclaimed in both anger and surprise as he brought a hand to his face to shield his eyes.

Godzilla and the others did the same, bringing their hands up to try to block out the light, but also to try and get a glimpse of what was causing it. Eventually, the four Earth Defenders were able to make out a very familiar outline coming from within the light, one that made their jaws nearly drop in surprise.

"What..?" Anguirus breathed quietly.

"Are you serious?" Rodan inquired in disbelief.

"But...But that can't be." Caesar spoke with awe in his voice.

Godzilla himself didn't know what to say. But with what he and the others were witnessing right now, what could he even say at this point?

"...It's you."

Godzilla vs. Mothra: Battle for Earth OST - Battra Theme...

Minutes Earlier:

"PROTECT THE INJURED!" Gorosaurus yelled as he lunged ahead with his jaws wide open to attack.

Battra flapped his wings and hovered back just as Gorosaurus' jaws snapped the air before charging up his horns and firing his Prism Beams from his eyes. Both purple energy blasts hit home in the Earth Defenders side, causing him to roar in pain as the force of the attack made him fall backwards.

"Gorosaurus!" Levy exclaimed before pointing her right hand at the Rogue Divine Moth. "Solid Script: Fire!"

A mass of orange flames that made out the word FIRE appeared from her fingers and flew towards the Earth Conqueror, who responded by gathering power into his claws, which started to glow purple and crackle with energy.

"Terra Claw!"

With a shout, Battra swiped his claws at the oncoming fire attack, causing it to completely dissipate much to Levy's surprise. Unfortunately, she never got the chance to verbally express it as the Rogue Divine Moth fired another Prism Beam towards her. Thankfully though, she was saved at the last second when Gajeel swooped in and grabbed her before jumping out of the path of the blast.

"Thanks Gajeel!" Levy said to the Iron Dragon Slayer.

"Pay attention, will ya?!" Gajeel responded in slight frustration. "This ain't the time to get distracted, you know!"

"He's right!" Freed said as Bickslow, who stood beside him, sent his dolls to attack Battra with green energy blasts. "We need to keep this one away from the injured at all possible costs! If he breaks through, it's over for them."

Baragon clawed the ground with smoke emanated from his nostrils as he glared at Battra. "Then lets fry this bug before he does!"

Beside him, Kamoebas fired a Rock Blast from his mouth while Freed attacked with his Dark Écriture Magic as several thin beams of purple energy flew towards the Dark Imago. Unfortunately, Battra was already ahead of them and gave another flap of his wings, emanated a large mass of reddish-orange powder that deflected Freed's attacks while Kamoebas' merely exploded upon making contact.

"What?!" Freed exclaimed in shock. "He can nullify our attacks?!"

Cana whipped out several cards before tossing them at Battra. "Try this! Summon Lightning!"

Her cards transformed into multiple bolts of lightning that flew towards the Rogue Divine Moth, who responded by shifting to the right, narrowly missing the attack. Battra then pointed his abdominal pincers forward as energy crackled between them.

"Firma Ray!" A concentrated beam of red electrical energy shot out and flew towards Cana. The Card Mage quickly dove to the side as the beam continued on its course before it sliced clean through a nearby tree, completely bisecting it.

"Magma Buster!"

"Venom Stingers!"

"Line Formation!"

Baragon released a torrent of flames from his mouth and Kumonga fired multiple purple barbed stingers from his mandibles while Bickslow's dolls stacked on top of each other and fired a lime green crescent-shaped beam at Battra.

"Macrocosm Bolts!" Battra unleashed a barrage of red lightning from his wings, swallowing both attacks in a large purple explosion that shook the air.

Bickslow was utterly stunned. "Are you kidding?!"

"Don't worry! We've got this!" Elfman shouted as he charged ahead towards the former Guardian of Terra with Gaira running beside him. The two brought their fists back and prepared to strike, but Battra flapped his wings again and ascended into the air just before their attack could connect. He then took advantage of their mistake by firing his Prism Beams down towards them, making them both cry out in pain and fall to the ground.

"Big brother!" Lisanna called out from the sidelines.

Battra landed back onto the ground as he eyed the remaining foes around him. "Foolish humans and Defenders. You try so hard, but you're efforts will continue to be fruitless." He then turned his attention towards Gaira, who struggled to get back to his feet. "And yet you, Gaira, are the most foolish for daring to turn your back and betray us like this."

"Betray?" Gaira repeated with a grunt of pain. "That's funny...coming from someone who's part of the same group that threatened my brother into joining them...just so they could use us. And here I thought...you at least had tact, Battra."

The Rogue Divine Moth felt his anger spike as he powered up his horns again. "Why you...!"

"WAIT!" Battra stopped when he noticed the same white-haired girl who protected his nephew slowly approaching him. "Please stop!"

"Lisanna, stay back!" Cana yelled to her, but the youngest Strauss sibling ignored her.

Lisanna continued. "Listen to me. I can understand why you hate humans, but it isn't worth destroying everything Mothra stood for!"

Battra responded with a heated glare. "You could never understand. All humans are the same. Traitorous. Manipulative. Destroing the lives of others just to satisfy their own greed. I could never understand what my sister saw in them."

"Well, maybe Mothra could see the good in humans of your world." the Take-Over Mage argued. "The Shobijin told me how much you cared for each other when you sealed yourself away."

"Sealed myself away?" Battra inquired with a raised brow. "Is that what those traitors told you?"

This caused Lisanna to stare at him with confusion. "What?"

Meanwhile, the Shobjin could only look away with shame.

"I never sealed myself away." Battra revealed, much to Lisanna's further confusion. "It was many years ago, not long after the human known as Deverich perfected his Psionic Transmitter, when he summoned invaders. That fool brought Ghidorah and Gigan to Terra, both on a path of destruction. Mothra and I tried to stop them, but we failed. Ghidorah managed to mortally wound me, but Mothra cast a seal on me so that I would be reincarnated fully healed. Three years I waited... Three years I waited to see my sister again."

Lisanna and the others merely listened on as Battra continued to explain.

"When my healing was complete however...they found me." he said with venom dripping from his voice. "As soon as I hatched from my egg, those twins Minette and Mallory used their psychic powers to claim me as their slave. They had even claimed Rodan's future mate, Radon, as well. We were forced to act as attack dogs for those menaces. It wasn't until we encountered Godzilla that we were finally freed from their control. I went on to find my sister after years being apart. After the monsters of Terra fought against the Space Kaiju, I finally reunited with Mothra. Even though we had our differences, she the light I needed in my life."

He paused again, his expression becoming hateful once again. "But then years later...they called upon me again... Those witches took control of me again and forced me to hunt down Mothra. They forced me...to slaughter my own sister."

The youngest Strauss sibling gasped in shock.

"Once I was free from their control for good, I finally came to realize just how evil humans are. I was meant to serve Terra...and they forced me to kill Mothra in cold blood! And yet I found her own children and her priestesses protecting these monsters! You Earth Defenders have betrayed Terra! I WILL ELIMINATE EVERY LAST HUMAN! STARTING WITH FAIRY TAIL!"

Baragon glared ahead. "He's lost it! Get ready, here he comes!"

Battra ascended into the air as dark purple energy gathered around his body before traveling into his wings, churning and crackling with power.

"FALL LIKE THE VILLAINS YOU ARE! Dark Hurricane!"

With a single flap of his wings, a powerful dark wind spread across clearing, forcing the Earth Defenders and Fairy Tail Mages to hunker down or cover up. Trees began to sway violently and dust picked up as the wind howled across the area.

"Grr! Every body hold on!" Gorosaurus grunted as he struggled to keep himself from blowing away.

Bickslow tried hold onto a log, but he found himself loosing his grip until he was launched into the air and slammed into Kamoebas, sending them both rolling onto the ground. Baragon stabbed his long claws into the dirt, anchoring himself to the ground, while Levy held on to Gajeel as the Iron Dragon transformed his arm into a pickax and stuck it into a tree trunk.

"Hang on, runt!" Gajeel yelled over the howling wind. Levy only responded with a shriek as she held on for dear life.

Cana glared as she raised her arms in front of her face to block out the wind. "What the hell's happening?!"

"This dark wind..." Freed grunted as also covered up. "Just what manner of power is this?!"

"Lisanna!" Elfman had managed to get up and wrapped his arms protectively around his little sister as the wind continued to pick up.

Mothra Leo chirped in fright as he tried to hunker down near his sisters cocoon while the Shobijin hid behind an exposed root.

"This..." Battra began as his voice echoed over the wind. "This is the power of a Divine Moth."

He continued to watch as the Earth Defenders and Fairy Tail Mages were mercilessly bombarded by the heavy purple and black wind.

"If a species, despite all evidence of council and logic, is intent on destroying the world for the sake of pure greed, it must be exterminated. There will be no exceptions. They enslaved me, forced me to be their hound. It's because of them that my sister is dead, and for that they will pay. For our race, for Terra...FOR MOTHRA!"

The others soon began to cough as the harsh howling wind seemed to suck the oxygen out of the air and was making it difficult for them to breath. Nearby, Mothra Leo started to panic, not sure of what he or the others could do in this hopeless situation. Against someone like his uncle, the chances of them winning were growing incredibly slim. If only his mother was still with them, then maybe she would be able to talk some sense into him and convince him to put an end to his vendetta.

But what could he do about it? He was weak in his current state and he knew that he stood no chance against Battra. If only his sister could hear him, if only she could hear the pleas of him and the others for help...

Just then, a light from beside him caught his attention. Leo slowly turned and noticed that Lea's cocoon was giving off a calm blue light that seemed to pulse in a manner similar to a heartbeat. The light gradually grew brighter and brighter until it seemed to resemble a lone star in a pitch black night sky. Battra eventually took notice of the light and turned towards it.

"What...?" he muttered in surprise.

The Shobijin looked up and also noticed the light coming from Mothra Lea's cocoon. Their eyes soon widened with realization before they turned towards each other.

"Moll..."

"Yes, Lora...The time has finally come."

They both stood up, fighting against the wind with every last bit of strength they had. As they did, a soft sound could be heard echoing through the dark wind, as if the island itself was responding to their resolve.

It was a sound that resembled music.

As the music grew louder and more audible for the others to hear, the Shobijin began to sing over the wind.

As the Shobijin sung, Lea's cocoon continued to pulse and the light gradually got brighter and brighter to the point that Battra's dark wind had started to slowly recede, much to his shock. Lisanna and the others eventually felt the air calm and their breathing returned to normal. The youngest Strauss sibling looked up while in Elfman's arms and noticed the Shobijin singing as Mothra Leo approached his sisters cocoon, looking as if he were in a trance.

Then, the light from the cocoon started pulsing faster and faster until a crack appeared on it, which started to leak out a bright white light from within. More cracks soon started appearing across it, much to the surprise of the others while Battra started to look almost panicked.

"No...NO!" He powered up his horns in an attempted to fire his Prism Beams at the cocoon, but unfortunately for him, it was already too late.

The cocoon completely shattered and a blinding, godly light completely lit up the clearing and almost the entire island like a second sun, creating a break in the storm clouds above the island. By this point, Battra's windstorm had been completely dispelled as the light started to ascend up into the sky and slowly began to increase in size.

Nearby, Mirajane's eyes slowly started to flicker open, which immediately became focused on the light rising into the air. Despite how bright it was, the eldest Take-Over Mage was able to make out the outline of a figure with flapping wings inside just as an angelic screech pierced the air.

The corners of Mirajane's mouth slowly rose into a warm smile as all of Tenrou Island was bathed in the equally warm light.

Godzilla's group, Team Natsu, Laxus and the Exceeds were speechless as they stared at the godly light that hovered above the island, with SpaceGodzilla, Biollante and Hades displaying nothing but shock.

'This light...' Hades thought as he too shocked by the sight to even speak. 'It's...It's like nothing I've ever seen in Earthland. Just what...is this warm light?'

Godzilla stared in dumbfounded silence as he slowly started to make out a familiar shape with large wings coming from within the light, one that made his eyes light up. Rodan, Anguirus and Caesar were also able to make out the figures shape and they too were in utter shock.

"...Lea?"

Biollante let out a deep, guttural growl as she eyed the light with caution while SpaceGodzilla's eyes narrowed into a pointed glare.

"So, she's finally reached her final stage, eh?" the Celestial Saurian inquired to himself.

Just then, the light quickly faded in an instant, finally revealing the figure hiding within. It's large, narrow wings were revealed to be a mixture of red, orange, yellow and black coloration which gave off a blue glow and had an eye pattern on the ends of each wing. It also had six legs, with the front and mid-legs being raptorial while the back legs were toed and it had a stocky head with bright blue eyes, two feathered antennae, and vertical-opening mandibles. It's abdomen seemed to resemble that of a large wasp and a majority of the body was covered in snow white fur.

"CHEEEEEEERRRRNNNT!"

The creature let out a loud screech as it suddenly dove towards them, the blue glow of its wings changing to orange in the process. As it got closer though, it was clear that it wasn't targeting either the humans or the shrunken Kaiju.

It was headed straight for Biollante.

The Bio Beast let out a roar as she prepared to retaliate, only for the new creature to dive bomb her and slam its full body weight into her. With Biollante stunned as a result, the creature screeched again as it stabbed the pointed tips of its front legs into the top of her head, making her wail in pain before shaking her massive head and prompting the creature to let go as it retreated back.

"What the hell...?" Laxus muttered in shock.

"Lea?!" Caesar exclaimed.

Lucy looked at him and then back to the creature. "What, THAT'S Lea?!"

"What happened to her?!" Erza asked over the sounds of the two massive Kaiju fighting.

"She must've finally reached her Imago Stage!" Anguirus replied.

Wendy looked at him. "Is that good?"

"You bet it is! Look at her go!" Happy yelled...well, happily, before Mothra Lea let out another screech as she slammed into Biollante's side, her raptorial legs slashing into the side of the Conquerors face. Biollante cried out before swinging a couple of her vines at Lea and sending her tumbling backwards. The daughter of Mothra shrieked in pain, but managed to recover and straighten herself out. Mothra Lea then did a sharp U-turn and prepared for another frontal assault on Biollante.

"WOOHOO! C'MON, LEA! KICK HER ASS!" Rodan cheered with excitement and encouragement towards the youngest Defender.

Biollante released an anger-filled roar as she raised her vines and launched them at Mothra Lea, the tooth-filled mouths snapping at the air along with the spear-like tips. Lea weaved her way around the oncoming vines before she got right into the Bio Beasts face and fired a large blast of her Silk Shot from her mandibles, covering her entire head in a thick layer of silk. The attack caught Biollante completely off-guard as she cried out while flailing around violently in a futile attempt to get rid of the sticky silk. As she did, one of her vines slammed into the water close to the airship, causing it to shake again.

Everyone on board held on for dear life, but Godzilla looked off to the side and noticed a reddish-yellow bolt of energy flying towards them.

"GET DOWN!" Godzilla warned as he ducked to the ground.

The others managed to hear him and were quick to get out of the way as the attack sailed over their heads until it cut out. They all looked back and saw SpaceGodzilla glaring at them while his crystals gave off a faint glow.

"It would seem the old saying is true: If you need something done right, you do it yourself." the Celestial Saurian growled before he turned to Godzilla. "This is it Godzilla, one last game to decide who's beliefs are truly just. It's time to settle the score, brother."

Godzilla stood up as returned SpaceGodzilla's glare with his own. "It would seem so."

Natsu and the others staggered to their feet, looking ready to keep fighting, but Godzilla brought his hand up. "No. You all stay back."

"What?! Are you kidding?! We can still fight too!" Natsu yelled angrily.

"Yeah! Don't sell us short yet!" Gray added.

"You really sure about that?" the King of the Monsters asked he looked over his shoulder at them with a serious look. "I can tell you all spent a great deal of power defeating Hades. Even with the Tenrou Tree back, I doubt you'll be able to stand much of a chance in your current physical states."

Wendy stood up. "But-"

"Kid, he's right." Rodan cut her off. "You guys aren't in any shape to take on someone like SpaceGodzilla. We're talking about a monster who's on the same level as Chief."

"As difficult as it may seem, this is something only Godzilla can finish." Anguirus added with a slight hint of regret in his eyes.

There was only silence from Team Natsu and the Exceeds after that, which Godzilla took as them accepting his friends words. He turned back around to face SpaceGodzilla, who looked to be waiting for him.

"GODZILLA!"

The King of the Monsters briefly stopped as Lucy stood up and called out to him, but he didn't turn around. "You better come out of this alive, you hear me?! Don't you dare die on us!"

"If you even THINK of dying, I'll kick your ass!" Natsu added. "When this is over, you're coming back to Fairy Tail with us!"

"Yeah! Take him down, big guy!" Happy shouted encouragingly.

Godzilla couldn't help but smile a little upon hearing the words of his human friends. They really knew how to get a point across without much effort.

"Go get 'em, Chief!" Rodan called.

Caesar nodded. "We've got your back, don't you forget that."

"We'll be rooting for you, so make sure you finish this!" Anguirus added as well.

Without facing them, he nodded before he took a few steps forward towards his celestial clone, who continued to watch him with a cautious glare.

"You're games end here, SpaceGodzilla." Godzilla said before bringing his hand up. "Give me the device."

"If you want it, then you'll have to take it." SpaceGodzilla replied as he raised his left hand, causing several crystal stalagmites to form around the device in a circular cage. "But you already knew that."

Godzilla's eyes narrowed. "I had a feeling you'd say that."

He got in a ready stance to which SpaceGodzilla gave him a calm look. "How many times have we fought?"

"Hard to say." the King of the Monsters replied. "It's only memory I have of us since we first met."

SpaceGodzilla responded to his answer with a small smile.

"Time to finish this, SpaceGodzilla!" Godzilla said as his spines charged with power. "Once and for all!"

The Celestial Saurian's response was his crystals giving of a reddish-yellow glow as he began to charge up as well, his smile widening into another smirk.

As Mothra Lea and Biollante collided yet again, creating another thunderous noise spreading through the air, Godzilla and SpaceGodzilla attacked.

Godzilla rushed forward full sprint across the ship, shaking the floor with each stomp, as SpaceGodzilla's shoulder crystals glowed with raw power and rocketed the celestial beast forward via telekinesis. Both crackled with blue and red energy raw nuclear power roaring throughout every cell in their bodies, causing minor explosions in the air, rain drops, and the ground around them as matter's physical structure ripped apart into plasma under the intense energy. Both saurians were glowing bright enough for the glow to be visible from the fleeing Magic Council ships off in the horizon as they collided together in an explosion that rocked the whole airship.

Rain drops, chunks of rubble, and even steel beams were launched up into the air in a vast bubble as the explosion rang out, forcing everything except for the two quarreling brothers up into the air. Floating up in the air, the debris all came crashing down onto the ship and into the sea surrounding it. The war zone was covered in a cloud of debris as two beastly forms fought up close as lightning crackled across the sky.

Team Natsu and the others held on for dear life as dust and debris flew everywhere from the force of the two combating saurians. Natsu and Wendy held on to Happy and Carla while Lily stabbed the tip of his new Musica Sword into the flooring to keep himself from flying away from the wind being generated. Lucy and the others covered up their faces with their arms to shield their eyes from the onslaught of dust flying in their faces.

Godzilla snarled, digging his foot into the ground and spinning around; swinging his large tail in a spiral that ended in a direct hit square in the face to SpaceGodzilla. The spacial beast screeched in pain, the blow having fractured his skull bones briefly before his regeneration took effect, painfully healing the injury in a matter of seconds. Pain in harm, pain in healing. Between the two, SpaceGodzilla was pissed.

Collapsing backwards some distance in an after-strike daze, the cosmic kaiju put his hands together and spread them as his shoulder crystal's glowed a bright white glow. A perfect, double-pointed crystal several feet long formed in the space between his paws. SpaceGodzilla cackled as he gripped the crystal like club and spun around. Godzilla didn't have time to react before SpaceGodzilla smashed the crystal into his face, and then swung again, bashing the weapon with glowing brilliance across his stomach. Fighting through the pain, the King of the Monsters lashed out as fast as he could with his right hand as SpaceGodzilla was about to bring the club down again on his skull, catching the blow. Godzilla pushed up as SpaceGodzilla pushed down, neither able to wrench free the weapon from the other's grasp.

Two pairs of eyes flashed colors, one blue, one crimson; as energy crackled through their bodies. Like a mirror image, both saurians balled a fist with their free hand that the energy condensed into. Limbs glowing, they both threw a punch aimed at one another's face, only for the fists to connect mid-swing and two hand-held nuclear pulses went off at the same time. The attacks smashed together and a brilliant white light grew between the two and absorbed both in a crack of an energy driven explosion. The crystal club shattered as both Godzilla and SpaceGodzilla were sent sliding across the broken wood flooring, both of their front halves of their bodies badly burned but rapidly healing. As long as they both had energy to expend, they could heal. And as long as they could heal, neither could kill the other.

So long as they had any of those occurring, they would fight.

"Why do you refuse to understand, brother?" SpaceGodzilla inquired as he stood up. "Every day, humanity drives itself closer to the brink of extinction. Their own self-destruction was inevitable from the moment they first evolved, so why try so desperately to save them?"

"Because I'd rather try to at least do something good for a change rather than waste another 60 years on pointless vengeance." Godzilla replied while glaring ahead at his clone.

SpaceGodzilla's eyes narrowed into a heated glare. "Pointless? After everything that they did to us, to you, you call your vengeance pointless?"

Godzilla glared back. "So what if I did?"

"How foolish, brother. When you and I first fought, you were young, full of rage. You had power fulled by boundless fury that could bring cities to ruins. But now, I see you've gone soft. I can no longer see that same rage that you once had."

The Celestial Saurian spread his arms out again as multiple crystal stalagmites manifested out of thin air and hovered in place around him.

"You're care for the humans has made you weak!"

He thrust his arms forward and sent the stalagmites forward, their spear-like ends pointed straight at Godzilla. The King of the Monsters responded by charging up his spines and unleashing another Atomic Breath attack as he swept the beam around at the oncoming projectiles, creating numerous explosions that rang through the air.

SpaceGodzilla's shoulder spikes began to spark with green energy as a similar-colored energy surrounded a large piece of rubble nearby. Utilizing his telekinetic abilities, SpaceGodzilla lifted the chunk of debris up and launched it towards Godzilla, who quickly brought his hands up and caught the hunk of rubble. His feet skidded back a few feet on the flooring, his toe claws creating gouges in the wood, before he threw the object in his hands back towards his brother. The leader of the Earth Conquerors waited until the piece of debris got close before casually flicking his wrist, using his telekinesis to send the rubble over the side of the ship and into the sea below.

"However," SpaceGodzilla continued, "what I seek is the start of a new era for Terra, one where Kaiju can finally be free from the oppression of humanity. You should honestly be grateful I'm not trying to kill the planet, not like Ghidorah tried to back then."

"Maybe, but that still doesn't change the fact that bringing about humanities extinction is wrong." Godzilla retorted with a glare.

The cosmic kaiju shook his head, a look of minor annoyance on his face. "Honestly, why go so far for them? Even if this 'Miki Saegusa' you spoke of earlier really did have a part in you change, that could not have been all, rightr? There must have been something more that changed you."

Again, Godzilla found himself silent for a moment, with the only noise being the rain and the wind as well as the shrieks and crashes from where Mothra Lea and Biollante were fighting nearby. He thought back to when everything had begun, to when Lagos Island was destroyed, to when he first attacked Tokyo, recalling afterward when he had killed by the Oxygen Destroyer and sent to Hell, only to escape sometime after. He remembered all of the many battles he fought after that against other kaiju that would become his enemies/future allies, along with all of the other times he continued to lay waste to human civilization.

"...I used to think that mankind was an abomination at its worst, and a self-destructive annoyance at its best." he finally said, getting SpaceGodzilla's attention. "I remember in the early years I tried to destroy them, so that no one else would have to experience the agony that made me who I am today. That said, they're still a part of this world...and that's something I've learned to accept."

"What...?" SpaceGodzilla inquired.

"They're not perfect, no species is, not one individual..." he continued. "But what makes you think they are worth sending to extinction? Do not begrudge them their right to exist, and they will not begrudge you."

The Celestial Saurian's body began to shake and tremble while his face contorted into a look of pure rage, his orange eyes turning bloodshot.

"Right...? A right? You call their existence...a right?!" Suddenly, SpaceGodzilla's crystals flashed red and electrical energy surged across his body. "UTTER NONSENSE!"

A sudden gale forced Godzilla to cover up as SpaceGodzilla began to levitate off of the ground, his eyes glowing bright red. "The human race is a disease! A parasite! And I am the only one who will cure our world of their hazardous existence! If I must destroy you to make that happen brother, then so be it!"

The two saurians glared at each other before both released another ear-splitting roar and charged at each other.

Back at the camp, the remaining members of Fairy Tail and the Earth Defenders were left in utter shock as to what they had just witnessed. Not only did Lea finally break out of her cocoon in a new form, but she also had suddenly grown to an incredible size. It was something that had caught them completely off guard.

"What just happened...?" Cana inquired.

Baragon gave a slight smirk beside Gorosaurus. "Looks like Lea's finally grown up."

Levy looked over to them. "What do you mean?"

"This is the what the adult stage of a Divine Moth looks like." Gorosaurus responded. "Her and Leo's mother went through a similar sort of phase in her younger days. They start off in a Larval Stage in their youth before cocooning themselves and then coming out in their Imago Stage."

"So it's kinda like what butterflies do then, huh?" Gajeel asked with crossed arms.

Kamoebas nodded. "Pretty much."

Freed looked somewhat confused on the other hand. "But hold on, Lea looks rather different compared to her mother. When we were exploring Godzilla's memories, Mothra didn't look like what her daughter looks like at all."

"Yeah, what the deal with that?" Bickslow added.

Elfman, who continued to hold Lisanna protectively, gave his own assumption on the question. "Well, Mothra and Battra are supposed to be siblings, right? And they look pretty different. Could it sort of connected to that?"

"How should we know?" Baragon asked back with slight annoyance. "Do you really think we would know the exact reason why Mothra's kids look different?"

At the same time, Battra was in complete surprise. He hadn't anticipated that his niece would have reached her Imago Stage by now, especially in Kaiju size for that matter. His claws dug into the mud as he slowly turned his gaze towards the Shobijin, his horns and eyes glowing with power.

"You...!" he hissed. "You did this!"

Battra kicked off the ground and flew towards the two small fairies, who responded by embracing each other and looking away with fright.

"Look out!" Lisanna cried out with worry.

As the Rogue Divine Moth was about to reach them however, a sudden blast of yellow energy struck him in the side, earning a cry of pain as he was thrown off course and slammed into the side of a tree. The others around were both surprised and confused as to what had just happened until they turned towards where the attack came from, noticing a familiar creature standing on the edge of the clearing with a glare.

"Oi! Didn't anyone ever teach ya that it ain't nice to pick on ladies?!" he yelled in a snarky tone.

Everyone was left in shock, with Cana speaking up first. "Varan?!"

"Where the Daiei have you been?!" Kumonga exclaimed angrily.

"Was helping the old geezer out with some other guy." Varan replied before he glanced at Cana. "And before you ask, he's alright. Just had to stop to take a breather for a moment."

The Card Mage let out a silent breath of relief upon hearing her father was still alive. Varan then turned back towards Battra with a glare. "Alright pal, you wanna get Leo and the little ladies, then you've gotta get through all of us too!"

Battra glared at Varan until he looked around and realized that the other Earth Defenders and Fairy Tail members started to surround him again, looking ready to keep fighting. The Dark Imago gave another sharp look.

"Is that so? Very well then, so be it."

Baragon and Gajeel acted first as they charged ahead at Battra, with the others following after them.

"Magma Buster!"

"Iron Dragon's Roar!"

The kaiju and the Dragon Slayer both released their unique breath attacks, sending a torrent of flames and a tornado of sharp metal shards towards the Conqueror, who flapped his wings and shot up into the air to avoid the oncoming attack. However, as he did, Cana pulled out more of her cards as they glowed with magic power while Levy made a motion with her right hand.

"Sun's Strength!"

"Solid Script: Thunder!"

The brunette threw the cards towards Battra, which caught fire as soon as they left her hand, while the blunette fired a large bolt of lightning from her finger tips. The Dark Imago shifted to the right and managed to avoid Cana's fire attack, but he was unable to dodge Levy's lightning.

"Gngh...!" Battra grunted as the bolt of electricity struck his left wing and caused it to go numb.

"Now!" Levy shouted.

Freed leaped off of the ground and activated his Dark Écriture: Wings, flying towards the Earth Conqueror. "I never thought I would have to use this spell again. But I will for the sake of Fairy Tail!"

He brought his right hand up and swiped the air as runes appeared on his upper body.

"Dark Écriture: Darkness!"

Freed's body began to glow purple and he suddenly transformed into a large dark-colored demonic creature with horns sprouting from his head and his right eye covered with scales.

Elfman's eyes went wide. 'That spell... It's the same one he used on Mira during the Battle of Fairy Tail!'

The green-haired mage let out a roar as he closed in on Battra and raised both arms over his head as a sphere of red and black energy formed in his hands.

"Darkness Flare Bomb!" Freed swung his arms down and the sphere slammed into Battra, making him cry out in pain as he was sent crashing back down to the ground. The earth shook as the Dark Imago made a small crater in the ground upon impact and he grunted as he tried to stand back up.

A roar caught his attention and he looked up to see Gorosaurus up in the air and coming down towards him. Battra flapped his wings and flew back as the dinosaur's feet impacted the ground were he had previously been, sending dust flying and shaking the earth again.

"I will not suffer defeat!" Battra declared. "Especially from the likes of you!"

"Then you'll definitely hate this!"

The Conqueror turned around just as a large yellow spider web appeared above him and landed on top of him, pinning him to the ground.

"Gah!" Battra grunted as he struggled to break out of the net. "What...is this?!"

Nearby, Kumonga let out a cackle of laughter. "Why don't you stick around for a while, huh?! Hahahaha!"

"Alright, my turn!" Kamoebas called before turning towards Gaira. "Throw me!"

The Green Gargantua nodded without hesitation and picked the Earth Defender up, then launched him towards the immobilized Battra. Kamoebas's head and limbs retracted back inside of his shell as he started to spin around like a Frisbee.

"Shell Smash!"

Kamoebas soon slammed full-force into the Dark Imago, who let out an agonizing cry as the web restraining him was torn to shreds as a result of the impact. Battra skidded against the ground with a grunt before struggling to stand back up.

Gaira glanced to his right and noticed Varan walk up beside him, the reptilian kaiju giving a slight glare in his direction.

"Just so we're clear, I'm still pissed about China." he said bitterly.

"Noted." Gaira responded before looking back towards Battra as he began to get back up. "You ready to do this?"

Varan nodded as he too turned towards the Conqueror. "You even have to ask?"

The two soon charged towards Battra and it was Gaira who made it first. The Green Gargantua roared as he grabbed one of Battra's abdominal pincers and swung him towards Varan, who began to charge up his back spines with yellow light.

"Oral Beam!"

The Defender fired a concentrated beam of yellow energy at Battra, engulfing him in a yellow explosion. He let out a cry as he crashed back to the ground yet again, his left wing slightly smoldering. Everyone slowly turned towards the gliding kaiju with both stunned and confused expressions as to what they had just witnessed him do.

"...What?" Kumonga muttered in confusion.

"When the heck did you learn to do that?!" Cana yelled in utter shock.

Varan simply blinked before shrugging. "Uh, about an hour ago."

Before anyone could ask any other questions regarding Varan's new skill, Battra had managed to recover from his injuries and suddenly fired his Prism Beams at the gliding Defender. Varan cried out in pain as the beam struck him in the shoulder and sent him slamming into the side of a large rock, cracking it upon impact before he slumped to the ground.

"VARAN!" Gorosaurus called out with worry.

Battra grunted as he gave a flap of his wings and hovered off of the ground with a piercing glare. "To think that I would be outmatched like this. It seems as though I underestimated you."

"Then are you ready to give up?" Elfman inquired. "You know you can't beat us all by yourself."

Battra glared at the group as his wings began to spark with red electricity. "Never! I made a vow to avenge Mothra at all costs, and I will NOT go back on that promise! Macrocosm Bolts!"

The Dark Imago unleashed yet another volley of crimson lightning from his wings. Screams of pain filled the clearing as everyone from the group aside from the injured members, Mothra Leo and the Shobijin, who managed to take cover behind a fallen tree.

Leo could only shudder in fear as the hateful cries of his uncle and the cries of his friends rang through the clearing.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters OST - Old Rivals...

Mothra Lea let out a battle cry as she flew in towards Biollante, who responded by sending several of her mouth-tipped vines towards the her. The Daughter of Mothra retaliated by blasting them with her antennae as twin sky blue beams blew apart the mouths in a show of green ichor and vegetation. It did no good as four more vines broke the waters surface almost immediately and streaked skywards to take their place. Two of them spewed an emerald sap which sizzled as it hit nothing but open air. Lea used her newly-acquired flying skills to avoid the acid sap as she twisted and turned in the sky, never once hitting the deadly ichor, if barely staying clear of it.

Getting herself to a safe distance, Mothra used her Antennae Beams to cut off/blow apart Biollante's vines that were coming to attack her. Some were blown apart into small, icky pieces while other chopped off and fell into the sea, lifeless. Biollante roared out in pain at having her limbs severed and destroyed. But the Bio Beast managed to send six more vines after the Divine Moth to replace the others that were destroyed, only to be blasted to bits by bright blue bolts of lightning from the underside of the giant lepidopteron's wings.

Regardless, other viny appendages replaced those lost and continued their relentless pursuit of her. Lea realized that the only way of defeating Biollante was to attack at the source of the relentless vines.

And that meant destroying the main body.

Mothra Lea unleashed another barrage of Mana Lightning from her wings at Biollante's head and body. Each bolt hit home and struck the Earth Conqueror in the head and main body, piercing her vegetated flesh with ease. Every hit caused green sap to fly out of every wound inflicted upon the giant plant/kaiju hybrid. Biollante roared out in pain and fury, and its attacking vines began to wriggle madly as if in confusion. Lea continued with her assault by bombarding Biollante with both her Mana Lighting as well as her Antennae Beams, striking with deadly precision. All this made Biollante roar out even louder.

Being hurt in multiple spots on her person, Biollante roared again before unleashing a spray of acid from her toothy maw, aiming directly at Lea's underside. The Daughter of Mothra sees what's heading her way and although the deadly sap doesn't hit her, it does force her to cease her attack on the Bio Beast. As Mothra Lea turns around for another assault on her foe, Biollante launches one of her own and fires sap from numerous heads of her vines as well as her own and shoots it towards the giant butterfly. Using her great speed, Lea was able to dodge most of the attacks.

Most...but not all.

A pair of sap attacks strikes her on the underside of her thorax and abdomen, causing her to cry out in pain as the substance burned at her flesh. Then, two more vines rushed up and bit Lea on the base of her wings by her main body. She cried out in pain yet again as the vines pulled her towards Biollante's monstrous maw. No matter how fiercely she struggled and fought, Lea couldn't break free from the mouths of Biollante's vines. Once she was close, Biollante's massive mouth closed in on Mothra Lea's thorax with a tight vice-like grip that made her cry out.

Godzilla roared as his fist collided with SpaceGodzilla's stomach, sending him reeling back with a snarl of pain. The Celestial Saurian retaliated by spinning around and swinging his tail, the solid crystal tip smashing into his brother's face and causing his head to jerk to the left as small droplets of blood flew from his mouth. The two stared at each other with heated glared, their postures slightly slouched as the wounds that littered their bodies from their intense brawling already began to heal.

"Still as stubborn as ever, I see." SpaceGodzilla growled bitterly. "How much longer do you intend to stand in my way?"

"Until one of us drops dead, obviously." Godzilla replied. "That's how it's always been, hasn't it?"

The Intergalactic Monster smirked at his brother's response. The two then proceeded to charge at each other once again before slamming into each other, their collision causing the ship to quake. Team Natus and the others desperately tried to keep their balance as the force nearly knocked them off of their feet.

"Oh man! They're tearing each other up!" Gray exclaimed in shock.

"Shouldn't we try to help him?!" Happy shouted over the noise.

Rodan shook his head. "Even if we wanted to, Chief would just kick our asses for interrupting him!"

"He's right." King Caesar added. "This is personal for him and to him, this is a fight he feels he needs to settle alone."

SpaceGodzilla released a roar before firing his Corona Beam, raking it across the ground at Godzilla's feet. The King of the Monsters snarled as he brought his arms up to block the dust and debris caused by the attack, but SpaceGodzilla used his telekinesis to levitate off of the ground and fly towards Godzilla, slamming into him with full force.

Godzilla cried out as he stumbled backwards, giving SpaceGodzilla and opening to attack. He summoned a large crystal from the flooring before ripping it out with his clawed hands and swinging it at the Kaiju King. Godzilla just barely managed to recover and quickly ripped a part of a broken steel support beam from a pile of rubble nearby and swung it at the oncoming attack. The steel beam and the crystal collided as the two saurians used their makeshift weapons to engage in a heated standoff.

"You're efforts are futile, brother." SpaceGodzilla glared. "I will bring about a glorious new age for Terra, and there's nothing you can do to stop me. I will turn our world into the pinnacle of perfection!"

"And just what kind of perfection is that?" Godzilla asked, though he already knew what kind of answer he would give.

"Crystalline perfection. It is the future of our world. It is the future of all worlds, because I will make it that way. I will purge all worlds of those that try to wipe out our race. Those who try to stop me will be ground underfoot like the insects they are."

Godzilla's eyes widened at that reply. "You...you intend to go beyond just Terra?!"

The Celestial Saurian frowned. "How many times has our planet been the target of intergalactic species? How many times have they come to our world and claim it to be there's? Even if I do manage to conqueror Terra, there's no guarantee that they'll just end it there. Once I have wiped out humanity and taken Terra, I will eradicate all those who dare oppose me, whether they be human, alien, or fellow Kaiju. I will rule it all unopposed!"

"You're completely insane!" Godzilla yelled. "First you talk about bringing peace for our race, and now you're saying you intend to rule Terra?!"

"I will rule it so that our world will remain at peace." SpaceGodzilla answered. "Even if Terra were freed from humans, what would happen from there? In order to ensure that other Kaiju will remain in line, someone has to step up and lead them. And that someone will be ME!"

With that last declaration, SpaceGodzilla managed to shove his crystal weapon hard enough for the support beam in Godzilla's hands to go flying out and land a few feet away. With the King of the Monsters completely defenseless now, the leader of the Earth Conquerors then proceeded to stab the sharp end of his crystal weapon straight into Godzilla's gut.

"GODZILLA!" the others all called out in utter shock and fear.

Godzilla's eyes shot wide open and he let out a sharp cry as a wave of agonizing pain surged through his stomach area. He instinctively reached our and grabbed SpaceGodzilla's wrist to try and force him to let go, but the Celestial Saurian continued to push the crystal deeper and deeper into his gut.

"Foolishness, brother. Foolishness. I gave you numerous chances to join me, and this is what it has finally come to."

SpaceGodzilla finally removed the crystal as Godzilla slumped over and fell to the floor with a loud thud. The others were absolutely stunned and horrified to see the Kaiju King go down like that.

Wendy covered her mouth with her hands as her eyes showed nothing but horror to the point she couldn't even speak.

Gray and Erza's eyes trembled with shock. "Such...monstrous power." the latter whispered.

"It...can't be..." Anguirus muttered quietly.

"Chief...lost?" Rodan added with utter shock in his voice.

SpaceGodzilla slowly walked up to his brother's side as he desperately tried to force himself back to his feet. The Intergalactic Beast merely raised his clawed foot and brought it down onto Godzilla's side, pinning him to the ground.

"You are wounded and weak." he said with a stoic look on his face. "All of those previous battles today have finally caught up with you."

"Godzilla!" Natsu stood up to try and help his friend, only to stumble and fall flat on his face. "Gah! No way, I'm still out of Magic Power?!"

Happy quickly rushed to the Dragon Slayers side. "Natsu, get a hold of yourself! Godzilla needs our help!"

"I know! I know! Dammit, my body won't listen to me!" the pink-haired teen cursed to himself.

SpaceGodzilla continued to stare down at the injured form of Godzilla as he slowly began to raise his crystal weapon up over his head.

Lucy noticed and felt her heart jump into her throat. "No... Don't do it! Leave him alone!"

Ignoring the blonde's pleas, the leader of the Earth Conquerors, continued to stare down at Godzilla. "Any last words brother?"

The King of the Monsters snarled as he slowly turned his gaze up towards his clone. Much to SpaceGodzilla's surprise, he could still see the pure defiance burning in his eyes.

"Even if you kill me here SpaceGodzilla...others will rise to defeat your tyranny."

SpaceGodzilla slowly recovered from his shock and gave a piercing glare.

"Maybe... But they will suffer the same fate as you."

"Godzilla!" Lucy shouted again with tears threatening to come pouring out.

"Run! Get outta there!" Natsu yelled from where he lay in pain and exhaustion.

"Come one! You can still fight!" Gray added as well.

"You fight for the weak." SpaceGodzilla said as his glare widened and his grip on his weapon tightened. "AND THAT IS WHY YOU LOSE!"

He then proceeded to plunge the weapon down towards Godzilla's face, the Kaiju King staring town the oncoming blow with a burning glare.

"GODZILLA~!"

Aaaaaaand CUT! Aw man, another cliffhanger?! I know, I know a lot of you are probably upset, but I just had to end it somewhere. I originally intended this chapter to be longer and have it be the final chapter for the who Fairy Tail and Earth Defenders vs. Grimoire Heart and Earth Conquerors, but I realized with how much stuff I was putting into it, I decided to just split the chapter into two parts. So expect the NEXT chapter to be the conclusion to the current battles.

I bet you all weren't expecting for me to give Mothra Lea her Godzilla: King of the Monsters design, did you? To be honest, I was originally planning to have her design go the Showa Mothra route, but after seeing King of the Monsters and the unique design they gave Mothra, I decided to have Lea take on the Legendary design just to make her more unique and to set her apart from her mother. Plus I just REALLY liked the Legendary design they gave her!

Anyway's, don't forget to leave a comment and follow for further updates down the line!

As always, this is Godzilla Boy signing off!
