It had only been 5 minutes since Marinette had arrived at the bakery.

Upon entering, her parents had questioned her on Alya's whereabouts, so Marinette had explained the situation as quickly as possible and retreated to her room to prepare. Tom and Sabine we're their understanding selves.

This brings us to present time, with Marinette staring out into the city on her balcony, Tikki hovering near her.

"Isn't he the sweetest! Oh Tikki, we held hands!" Marinette squealed, a dreamy look on her face. She brought both hands to her face and clutched her cheeks, before leaning over the railing to look at the city.

"You only held hands for a few minutes Marinette." Tikki deadpanned from her right, a playful smile on her face.

Marinette pouted, turning to stare at the tiny god, "I know that! But his hand is so warm and it covered mine perfectly-" Marinette cut herself off with a squeal.

The young designer twirled in a dazed manor and effectively tripped over her own feet. Marinette landed on the balcony floor with a yelp, making Tikki chuckle.

The teen groaned just as Tikki began to speak, "I really am proud of you Marinette." Marinette blinked and glanced towards the red bug who continued hovering, "Really?"

Tikki nodded, "You've faced one of your biggest fears! Talking to Adrien and not making a fool of yourself!"

Marinette grimaced at Tikki's choice of words but thanked her anyways.

A loud boom brought both of them back to their senses.

Marinette scrambled to stand, both chosen and Kwami looked in the direction of the smoothie shop. A mountain of fruit could be seen from miles away, launching into the sky in a flurry of colors.

They nodded to each other before Marinette yelled into the sky-

"Tikki, Spots on!"

"You're Lovesick."

"Am not!"

Plagg didn't respond, merely rolled his eyes for the umpteenth time.

The kwami wasn't new to his chosen's obliviousness.

Adrian had a tendency to miss the biggest clues being thrown in his direction. His blindness to Marinette's crush on him was living proof of this.

"I say go for it, you probably have a better chance with her than you do with Ladybug."

Adrien scoffed in response.

He'd been having this conversation with Plagg for 15 minutes, since they've been in the car and ever since they'd arrived home, and was frankly tired of trying to defend himself. Sure he'd been seeing Marinette in a new light ever since she became more confident in herself, but he had his heart set on Ladybug, and that wasn't going to change.

Adrien was idly flipping through channels on the TV, looking for any reports of the new akuma.

"I'm not giving up on Ladybug. Marinette's a really good friend and she just opened up to me. I don't want to ruin what we have..." Adrien trailed off, absentmindedly flexing the hand he had been holding Marinette with.

Plagg looked his chosen up and down, nibbling on his cheese in the process, before allowing a smirk to creep onto his face.

"Then why does your hand keep twitching?" Adrien blinked.

"What do you mean."

Plagg rolled his eyes again, "You've been flexing that hand ever since we left that bakery-" Adrien blushed. "-and haven't stopped since we've arrived."

An awkward silence quickly filled the room when Adrien caught himself mid-flex. Meanwhile, said Kwami was floating around the room with a smug smile on his face, chewing his latest piece of cheese.

Plagg was satisfied when his chosens face lit up in a pretty shade of red. Though the satisfaction was short lived, when a loud boom resounded throughout Paris. Plagg groaned as Adrien yelled the magic words.

"Plagg, Claws out!"

Ladybug and Chat Noir met up on the rooftops of Paris 2 minutes later, both surveying the scene at the smoothie shop.

"Looks like a banana and berry bomb exploded in the shop." Ladybug murmured, knowing Chat Noir would hear her.

"That doesn't look very a-peeling!"

Ladybug could only respond with an exasperated sigh. Suddenly, another boom shook the earth, a little farther away from our heroes and near Chloe's home. Ladybug and Chat Noir only made eye contact, before running across rooftops towards the explosion.

They arrived at the fruit covered scene and stared at the villain with pointed looks.

"I am Banana Blitz! Chloe Bourgeois, come out and face my wrath!" The akuma was seething, her appearance resembled that of a fruit parfait.

How odd...

Her clothes were of very bright and bold colors. Splashes of bright red, yellow, blue, orange, and green decorated the full body suit she wore. Her head was adorned with something that closely resembled a tiara that had, what seemed like fruit decorating the left and right sides. Her weapon was a long and hollow baton that closely resembled a straw.

"Hey Banana Blitz! Why don't you come play with us instead!" The akuma turned towards Paris' heroes, she narrowed her eyes and raised her baton.

"Ladybug and Chat Noir, hand over your miraculous and bring me Chloe Bourgeois!" The akuma raised her weapon to her mouth and fired.

Ladybug and Chat Noir dodged the tranquilizing strawberries the akuma shot from the straw. They performed their usual tactic, Chat Noir drew the akumas fire, meanwhile Ladybug got closer and pinpointed where the akuma was hiding.

Apparently Banana Blitz was prepared for this, for the minute Ladybug was close enough she turned her fire on the female heroine and shot a single cherry from her straw. Ladybug caught the cherry effortlessly as Banana Blitz jumped away over the rooftops.

Ladybug glanced at Banana Blitz as she bounded away, "What's up? It's just a cherry," Chat Noir spoke, appearing next to his partner.

"I know, I'm just debating where the akuma could be-"

Ladybug didn't get to finish, as the red cherry she previously held exploded in her hand, knocking both superheroes off their feet. The spotted super heroine screamed, the red mist the cherry left behind burned her eyes, and the explosion sent her flying into a chimney.

Chat Noir, rose to his feet quickly, screaming Ladybug's name and muttering something about a cherry bomb. He made a move to run to his partners side, but the akuma wasn't having that, and engaged the last standing superhero.

Ladybug grit her teeth, and winced from the dull ache in the back of her skull and the sting of her eyes. Mentally berating herself for being so naive, she rose quickly, rubbing at her eyes and running towards the fight.

Banana Blitz moved to swing her baton at a dazed Chat Noir, but was stopped by a spotted yo-yo wrapping around her weapon of choice. Ladybug tugged on her yo-yo string, hard, and the baton shot out of the akuma's hands and into Ladybug's.

The super heroine wasted no time in snapping the baton in half, and mentally cursed when no butterfly flew out. Suddenly, Banana Blitz was there, delivering a kick that sent Ladybug flying, and grabbing the halves of her baton. She joined the halves together and smiled when the baton reformed.

Raising the baton to her mouth, she shot several Cherry Bombs in both heroes directions and made her escape as they exploded, leaving behind a red mist to cover her tracks.

Chat Noir met up with Ladybug once the mist cleared and offered her a hand.

"I think the akuma's in her name tag, near her right shoulder."

Ladybug blanked, mentally berating herself for forgetting about the name tag and nodded. She stood and launched her yo-yo into the air.

"Lucky Charm!"

A large silicone cone fell from the sky and into Ladybug's waiting hands. Turning the cone in her hands, she turned to shoot a confused expression at Chat Noir, who shrugged. Ladybug took a few seconds to look around, but frowned when nothing stood out. She slipped the cone into her belt and faced Chat Noir.

"Let's end this."

The akuma found Chloe first.

The blonde had gone to a hair stylist, just like she said she would. The entire staff, and Sabrina, seemed to be attending to her every need as Chloe barked out several demands. There was a long line of angry women outside, peering through the window and glaring at Chloe, who had apparently demanded everyone else be sent outside.

The line dispersed quickly, however, when Banana Blitz arrived. The women looked up, screamed, and ran in different directions.

The shouts hadn't reached the women inside, for they continued meeting Chloe's every demand, so Banana Blitz shot a single Cherry Bomb in front of the closed door.

The front door exploded and the windows shattered, pieces of glass flying everywhere as the Cherry Bomb exploded.

The women took a single glance at the akuma outside and bolted from the building, screaming all the while. Chloe sat frozen, hair slightly red from the mist and mouth agape. Sabrina moved quickly, screaming at Chloe to move and grabbing the blondes hand.

"Chloe Bourgeois, I am Banana Blitz-" The akuma raised her baton at Chloe, "-and you will pay for the shame you brought me."

Chloe completely ignored Sabrina and the akuma, preferring to look at her reflection in the half broken mirror. Her expression contorted into one of pure rage at the sight of her now slightly red locks.

"You- RUINED MY HAIR!" Chloe released a frustrated scream, and ripped off the sheet protecting her clothes from stray hairs. Sabrina winced at Chloe's aggression.

"First, that little gremlin at the smoothie shop and now YOU! DO YOU KNOW WHO MY FATHER IS?! HE'LL RUIN YOU!"

Banana Blitz didn't respond, only raised her baton to her mouth and shot another Cherry Bomb.

Sabrina screamed and shielded herself, forcing Chloe to realize she had been yelling at an akuma.

Fortunately, Chat Noir appeared and smacked the Cherry Bomb back at the akuma.

"Fore!"

The akuma dove out of the way just as the Bomb went off and glared at the cat themed superhero below.

"You-" Banana Blitz raised her baton to her mouth, "ALWAYS RUIN EVERYTHING!"

Chat Noir pushed Chloe and Sabrina behind the remains of a car and moved quickly to avoid the barrage of deadly fruit sent in his direction.

Ladybug was hidden behind another damaged car, crouched and frantically looking around.

"Come on there has to be something." She mumbled.

Chat Noir was forced to stop, when his tail got caught in a particularly sticky mess of Banana. Banana Blitz chose that moment to jump off the roof, and use her momentum to hit Chat Noir with her baton, sending him flying into the nearest building.

Ladybug stood quickly, but stopped when the end of the akuma's baton flashed a spotted red.

Banana Blitz loomed over Chat Noir's dazed figure and raised her baton, the outline of a glowing purple butterfly framed the akuma's face and Ladybug made her move.

"Hey Blitz, don't forget about me!"

Banana Blitz scowled and directed her fury towards Ladybug. She only managed to shoot 3 cherry bombs before Chat Noir came to his senses and used his baton to push the akuma off balance.

The damage had been done, however, and Chat Noir watched, horrified, as the 3 cherry bombs continued their path of destruction towards Ladybug.

"Ladybug!"

Ladybug on the other hand seemed to wink at Chat Noir, before performing a very familiar move.

With the cone in her hands, Ladybug stuck out her arms and used her momentum to transition into a handstand, she then pushed off the ground and vaulted into the air.

The akuma, which had resumed her previous position, aimed her weapon and prepared to fire. She wasn't fast enough, however, and Ladybug was able to plant her lucky charm on the weapons opening and push the akuma away.

The cherry bomb the akuma had been preparing exploded in the cone, knocking her off her feet and the weapon away.

Ladybug glanced at Chat Noir, only to find her partner staring at her as if she had grown two heads. She moved fast, grabbing the akuma's nametag and throwing it at her partner.

"Chat Noir, Cataclysm!"

Chat Noir, who seemed to finally snap out of his stupor caught the weapon and used his signature cataclysm to reduce it to dust. He could only watch as Ladybug went through the familiar motions of capturing the akuma, his mind completely blank.

"Bye bye little butterfly." She waved towards the small white butterfly, and plucked the cone from the ground, before tossing it up in the air. "Lucky charm!"

Miniature ladybugs swept through the scene, repairing the damage and cleaning up the akuma's weapons.

Ladybug walked over, and stuck out her fist. "Pound it?"

He mindlessly returned the gesture, but it was the loud beep of ladybugs earrings that brought him back to reality.

"Oh! Chat Noir, can I leave the victim to you?"

He nodded, "Of course, leave it to me Ma- Uhh... M'lady!"

She shot him a confused look, but took off nonetheless.

Chat Noir could only watch her go.

Under the cover of a darkened alley, a bright flash of green light went unnoticed by passing civilians. A small black cat flew out from the hidden boy's shirt pocket with a slice of cheese, and proceeded to moan in delight as he ate.

The boy stayed silent, watching the cat consume his cheese quietly.

"Hey Plagg?"

Plagg paused in his eating to look up at his chosen.

"Yeah kid?"

Adrian stayed silent for a few seconds, deep in thought, which worried Plagg.

The kid had never stayed silent for this long.

"Is Marinette... Ladybug?"

For the first time in his life, Plagg stopped eating.

I have literally no excuse.

I think at some point I reread this story and just cringed really hard. I have half a mind to just delete the entire thing and rewrite it.

But i'm not gonna do that.

So instead i'm just gonna go chapter by chapter and fix them.

I think I will do that so don't expect another chapter until it's done. When I post a new chapter i'll put an authors note at the top telling people to reread the story cause i'll have changed it up a alot.

It's probably gonna be a really slow process too, since i'm really obsessed with Voltron Legendary Defender and have been touching into Miraculous Ladybug less and less. But i'll get it done.

Eventually.
