Fiery, the Angels Fell
Oh if I could remain up here,
In this world above the clouds.
With only sound of engine hum,
Of voices never loud.
…
To be beyond the reach of lightning,
Streaking up to sky.
As those beneath this world of clouds,
All seek to us defy.
…
I see our chariots awaiting,
That will take us down to Hell.
Angels of better nature,
Above the land so fel.
…
I see legionnaires and stalwarts,
Visages aghast and grim.
All march in anguished silence,
On Intruders, pile in.
…
The clouds soon won't protect them
Soon they'll breathe more bitter air.
Soon now will sound the fury,
Of war, death and despair.
…
Soon I too will have to join them,
But I'll take what time allows.
Here within the New Sun,
Up here among the clouds.
