Note: the series started in 1988, and ended in 1990. It's been a year since Tsuna started to be trained as Neo Vongola Prima. The Arcobaleno (with the exception of Yuni who is nearly 11) look like five year olds currently. Perhaps when they are in 5th year they will appear in their late teens to early twenties for canon's sake and from there on out will age normally.

Viper graced her little Sky with a rare smile as she gazed up at her from beneath her hood. It was night, and her pyjamas consisted of a hooded black shirt, and long black pants. Yuni wasn't her proper Sky, they only had a weak Bond but it was enough to label the Mist as her Guardian, because Luce died and neither Aria or Yuni had her Flames and it hurthurthurtburned, but Aria had been there after Luce and with Yuni's help they formed a shaky Bond that mostly protected them from the backlash of Luce's death and forced Bond snapping.

On a whim, she decided to ask, "Ne, Yuni, do you want to hear a story?" The eleven year old nodded enthusiastically, "Un!" The five-in-body (Verde couldn't speed up the process anymore than that, but really, random growth spurts?) gave her another rare smile and patted the spot next to her on the bed. Yuni had wanted to sleep with her, and Viper, seeing no reason to decline, said yes, much to the annoyance of Fon. He had asked if he could sleep with them, but Viper declined before he even asked.

"Okay, I have a story in mind, so no interruptions, ok?" The child nodded enthusiastically.

"'Our story here starts long before the world was created. There was once a small little angel called Azrael. Oh, but she wasn't any ordinary angel, no, she was a creation of both God and Death. Half angel, half reaper...

"She was mistreated and out casted by most of the other angels for her differences, after all, who would want to be near a creature that could smite even angels? But... there were four angels, Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and Lucifer, the archangels, the Firstborn, who absolutely adored her. Gabriel, as the youngest Archangel, was the one who raised her; the others were too busy with their duties to take care of a small fledgling like Azrael.

"Azrael had seen how they all looked at her, eyes full of love. But in Lucifer's and Michael's eyes, it... wasn't normal, brotherly love, it was the same type of love that Death looked at God with. That kind of love. She knew that the two oldest wanted to claim her as a mate, but she ignored it. She didn't love them like that, they should eventually get over it. Oh, boy was she wrong." She smiled bitterly.

"After god created the world and gave the order to love and protect the Humans, she followed her Father's orders and soon enough began to genuinely care for the humans, one in particular; Freddy. Freddy was kind, and caring, and oh Father, how she loved him. She had chosen him as her vessel... But everything changed that day. That horrid, horrid day.

"She and Lucifer had a fight (with the other archangels bar Gabriel supporting the latter) about hanging out with humans, particularly Freddy so much. Azrael had become enraged and told them she despised them and stormed off to brood, Gabriel following to make sure she didn't do anything stupid.

"The next day... Lucifer tricked some humams into killing her Freddy, and was left unpunished – until much later – because Lucifer was always Daddy's favourite." Once again, that bitter smile graced her lips. "Azrael, filled with grief, went to her Father to end her existence. But, Death's Angel had a special function. When they die, they get reincarnated. Azrael had long discarded reason and begged her Father to do away with her.

"The Father complied and destroyed her body, ripping her Grace out from her being, while casting an ancient protection spell on her that would help her become mostly undetectable from the other angels. Days after her 'death', the other angels became curious and worried as to why she was not around. He announced that Azrael had come to him to destroy her Grace, and he complied with her wishes. They were horrified. Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, and especially Lucifer for he knew it was his fault, grieved for their sister and love.

"Years later, she was reborn into her first human baby; Cleopatra VII Philopator.'" Yuni gasped quietly, and Viper nodded and patted the girl on the head. "'More commonly known as Cleopatra, the last active pharaoh of Ptolemaic Egypt. In Azrael's, now Cleopatra's, (first/or second if you count her angelic descent) early life, she was known more as the 'Greedy Broker' than the daughter of Ptolemy XII, due to her bad habit of giving information for money. It was much later that she stepped onto the throne.' You know her story from the history books, yes?" Yuni nodded solemnly. "Perfect.

"'Later in life, after her exile, Pompey was killed. But... he wasn't murdered by a former officer as Ptolemy XIII claimed. No, he was assassinated by the young Cleopatra, beheaded in front of his wife and child. You see, Pompey did something to, ah, 'anger' the young woman and was 'punished' severely for it.

"Cleopatra was eager to take advantage of Julius Caesar's anger towards her brother, and had herself secretly smuggled into his palace to meet with Julius. She became his mistress and nine months after their meeting, in 47 BC, Cleopatra gave birth to Ptolemy Caesar. Although Cleopatra was 21 years old when they met and Caesar was 52, they became lovers during Caesar's stay in Egypt between 48 BC and 47 BC. He had reminded her of Lucifer, strangely enough. As you know, Julius left as he did in the books.

"During the war Cleopatra made a name for herself, 'The Vicious Queen', due to her horrendous killing methods when some assassins were sent after her head. After Caesar died, she met Anthony and fell in love, later having twins with the man. She had also gained another name 'Queen of Kings', and with good reason too.

"I'll skip out the rest of her history and go straight to her death. Many ancient sources think she committed suicide, others think she was assassinated. The former is true. Azrael, growing bored with the life of Cleopatra, wanted to move onto the next life. So she did, with a bang. She ensnared a viper, seeing as she somehow managed to obtain the power of the Snake Tongue, to bite her on the breast and inject its poison. She died at the age of 39, in Alexandria, Egypt.'" Yuni nodded for her 'aunt' to continue.

"Is that, why you call yourself Viper?" Said woman glanced at her sharply, before sighing and grumbling under her breath. "Of course you would know that's not my real name." Yuni looked at her innocently, so Viper continued on.

"'Her next life, quite ironically, was Saint Mary.'" Yuni giggled and Viper raised an eyebrow, "What are you laughing at, brat?" Shaking her head, she answered. "It's funny don't you think. Some call Mary the 'Mother of God', yet, she is His angelic daughter's reincarnation." Viper blinked then laughed.

(Everyone, no matter where they were in the mansion, shivered at the heard Esper fucking Mammon laugh. Fon silently fumed at not being the one who made her laugh.)

"Too true. 'Back when she was a child, Mary was as greedy as ever, but this time, she became a follower of God. She then met Joseph. And became betrothed to her fourth love. So she was quite shocked when Gabriel, of all angels, appeared before her. Panicked, Mary had told him to 'not tell anyone she was here, because not even Father would recognize him when she was through with his archangelic behind'. Gabriel, not knowing it was Azrael, bluntly asked what the girl was talking about. Mary had looked at him in pure joy and preformed a little happy dance and song. Gabriel, a whole lot weirded out, told her about Jesus in her then-body's-Virgin womb.

"Gabriel had apparently left quickly after she exploded and had him tell God 'to not show your stupid as fudge face around here or she'll cut his... mini-me off and charge him double. I mean, how stupid are you to impregnate your own fudging daughter!?' God was successively cowed after that, much to the horror of the angels. Gabriel was no better, the woman had terrified him with her threats.

"Mary later told Joshua that she was pregnant with God's son during dinner, as he sipped some water, making him choke. Sure, he was used to his wife's crazy antics, but this... was not normal, even by her standards. He gave up understanding what the hell was going on and they moved to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born. Joshua was just glad that he could still move his arm after her labor. It had, apparently, been broken in two places.

"When Jesus was born, it had been the happiest moment in her Mary life. Joseph's too. Mary watched as her husband died, as Jesus taught people that God existed, as Jesus's friends died. The last straw had been when those idiotic humans killed her baby boy, crucifying him right in front of her eyes. That same day, many learned to not mess with the Blessed Virgin Mary, because she isn't some weak willed peasant.

"Back in Heaven, years later after Mary had died, angels, mainly the archangels, questioned the Father of why he picked such a barbaric woman as the holder of his mortal-ish child. Laughing, He asked if they remembered how Azrael used to act. They nodded solemnly, Gabriel questioning why he would pick such a time to mention the deceased angel. God merely answered; "The only One who can smite a Reaper is Death Themselves. Those that aren't are reincarnated until They smite them." They got the clue, and were devastated once again that they had lost their sister. At least they knew why God and Gabriel were cowed, even if it was for different reasons.

"The third person Azrael was reincarnated into was born during the first few years of Earth's existence, long before Cleopatra and Mary lived. Azrael was a True Earthborn, a Daughter of Lady Gaia. Reincarnation works differently, you see. And Azrael knew that being semi-immortal that she would probably meet her other reincarnates. It didn't matter to her. She was Sepira, the first Giglio Nero." She stopped at seeing Yuni's face. It was a mix between amused, shocked and content.

"Yuni?"

"Hell yeah. My favourite Guardian is my ancestor." Yuni pumped her fist in the air, eyes sparkling with literal stars. Viper sweatdropped. Yuni beamed at her. "Does this mean I can call you obaa-sama?" Her innocent question caused the Mist to twitch.

"Hell no." Viper sighed at her Sky's kicked puppy look. "But, if you must, you may call me Oba-san or Nee-san." Yuni cheered, and Viper noticed something peculiar. "How in Father's name did you know that this was my history?" Yuni merely giggled, as if the question was the most idiotic thing she could ask. Viper didn't even know if giggling serenely was possible, but Yuni sure as hell pulled it off.

"Oh, silly. Me and okaa-sama have know for a long time. Obaa-sama knew as well, from the start I believe. But don't worry, Kawahira-ojisan isn't aware of who you are." She sent the Mist a wink.

Viper twitched but didn't look surprised anymore. She should've expected this from her. "I'll continue; 'Sepira was still a new Earthborn, so she didn't know much about her race. Well, until she met a certain individual named Kawahira. She had felt a strange connection with the young man, and knew he was just like her. A True Earthborn. However, Kawahira had also known that she was a Sky, his Sky. So he took her back to his clan. The Sanctus[1] Clan.

"They welcomed her immediately and she had bonded with the rest of five elements. In the end, the Sanctus clan had seven leaders. Sepira the Sky; Kawahira the Mist; Elladora the Lightning; Dimitri the Storm; Lyra the Cloud; Marcus the Rain; and Stella the Sun. They protected the Earthborns of their clan with a passion. The Sanctus Clan was settled in what is now known as Scotland." Yuni jerked, staring at her wide-eyed. She had a feeling that she knew just where the Sanctus Clan was settled.

"During the late 19 hundreds, when the non-magicals, or Muggles, hunted down the magicals." Viper's lip curled, "In all honesty, I find that term highly insulting." Yuni nodded her agreement. "Whenever I have to go to the Magical cities, I use Mundane for Muggles, Mundane-born for Muggleborns, and First Generation Witch/Wizard for Half-bloods or those of Squib descent. And for squibs I use the word Non-Magical."

Yuni nodded, "That's such a great idea! I really dislike the way wizards look down on Mundane. It's so degortory." Viper didn't know how the mafia donna knew about the Magical World, nor would she like to know. It would only gain her a headache.

"'In 990 a group of five people came to request them of the Sanctus's help. The five mortals, Magicals, were Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Salazar Slytherin, and the last two members were Sepira's reincarnations. Helga Hufflepuff, the eighteen year old, and Titania Slytherin, the eight year old sister of Salazar Slytherin.

"Helga was actually her fifth life, Titania being her sixth. They were both a little amused at seeing the short blue eyes woman. And much to Kawahira's horror, they got along like a house on fire. The Sanctus, with the exception of Sepira, reluctantly agreed on allowing them to build a castle on their land for the Magical children and a nearby village for their families as a sanctuary against Mundane.

"While the castle was being built, Helga and Titania explained their lives to the Earthborn. Helga was born a Mundane-born, and when she unleashed her first bout of accidental magic, ran away from her parents after they attempted to drown her when she was five. She met Salazar and Titania, the Pure-blood children of Celeste and Antonio Slytherin on her travels. They later met Rowena and Godric once they left the Slytherins' House.

"Titania's life was a bit calmer than that. She was born on a bright sunny day, when Salazar was ten. Her life was pretty boring until she met her reincarnation. Well, she knew it would happen since she was once Helga though.

"In the year 1000, when Helga was twenty seven, Salazar twenty nine, Godric thirty one, Rowena twenty eight, and Titania seventeen, the youngest of the five Magicals was raped, burned and murdered by Mundane folk. Helga and Sepira despaired the most. And Salazar's hate of the Mundane started there. The only thing that kept him from going on a killing spree was the sweet Helga, the brash Godric, the wise Rowena, and the crazy Sanctus Clan.

"Rowena married Godric, Helga married Salazar, and Sepira married Kawahira. In the following years the four founders died, Helga first, then Rowena, Godric, and finally Salazar. Sepira saw that the Earthborns were dwindling, and knew what was to come. Everyone died and Sepira's Guardians were slowly dying as well. They split up the stones into the Tri-Ni-Sette and Sepira gave the Rings to Giotto. Kawahira and Sepira disagreed on the humans, and they parted ways for sometime. Kawahira and Sepira were the last Earthborns. At the end of the 1500s, Sepira died and Kawahira went into discord.'" Yuni watched her with sad eyes. "You really loved him didn't you?" Viper nodded. "Yes, but I have gotten over it. After all, I have had many lovers since then." Yuni nodded in understanding, trying not to focus on how bitter her friend's smile was.

"'Her fourth life was actually a Gorgon, a Medusa, named Azami. (Most of the following is copied off of the wiki) Azami was born into the world of humans without knowing the purpose behind it, because in this life she forgot almost all of her memories of her past lives. She used to trust humans to help her to find her true self and regain her memories. However, the humans feared her and thus tried to kill her in many ways. Her heart started to be filled up with emotions, and then decided to take revenge on humans. Not long after she killed many, she decided to be alone. She went to a forest where not even the sound of bugs could be heard.

"Azami used to live alone in the forest, looking down on humans as pathetic. One day she met the young soldier Tsukihiko that wanted to spend his life with her due to both of them being seen as "monsters". The two fell in love and had a child together, Shion. Because of the love she learned, she started to fear the day that she would have to part with Tsukihiko, due to his shorter lifespan, and created the Heat Haze, using the powers of all her snakes, as a paradise for her family. By doing so, it created the snake of Compassionate Eyes. Which you really don't want to know about, trust me." Viper was stern with her decision, so Yuni sighed and slumped.

"Although she attempted to live forever with her family in the heat haze, their home was attacked immediately after she created it, so she came to believe that unhappiness comes when she is involved with humans. She decides to enter the Heat Haze alone and live there forever.

"However, when her daughter Shion and granddaughter Mary were murdered by humans, she could not bear to let such a terrible thing go ignored, so she pulled Mary into the heat haze. She gave Mary the "Combining Eyes" snake, the one ability that would serve as Mary's life, which was saved, while Shion lost hers.

"Azami lost her ability to unite the snakes, so she became unable to undo the order she gave to the Heat Haze: "Bring in the people who died on August 15th – the day of Mary's death!".

"Azami died when she resurrected the Mekakushi Dan members and other people; Ayaka, Kenjirō, Hibiya, Kuroha, Hiyori and Ayano. She died with a smile on her face, not knowing that she would be reincarnated.'" Yuni had tears in her eyes.

"How terrible... Ne, Viper-neesan? How many lives have you lived?" Viper pursed her lips, "I think... about... This might be my 21st life? Or 22nd? I forgot." Yuni teared up.

Viper continued before the girl could start crying. "'Her next life was 'Murasaki Shikibu'. She was born in 973. In that life, Azrael was a Japanese novelist, poet and lady-in-waiting at the Imperial court during the Heian period. Shikibu was the author of The Tales of Genji, which was written between 1000 and 1012. As you might know, the name 'Murasaki Shikibu' was an alias, but her real name being, not Fujiwara Takako, but her younger sister Fujiwara Takara.

"In her young days as Shikibu, she showed quite a talent for the Chinese classics and managed to acquire fluency. Shikibu married in her mid-twenties and gave birth to a daughter Haruka(?) but her husband died, two years after they were married. She began writing The Tales of Genji when she married. In about 1005, I forgot when exactly, she was invited by Empress Shōshi to serve as her lady-in-waiting in the Imperial Court. She still wrote during her service, adding scenes from her court life to her works. Five years later she left the Court, retiring with Shōshi to the Lake Biwa region. Shikibu died due to being poisoned by a belladonna plant in 1014.'" Yuni blinked and smiled at her five-in-body ancestor.

"'Her next life was...Jeanne D'Arc, who was born on the 6th January 1412. Jeanne was born to Jacques and Isabelle D'Arc, a peasant family in north-east France. She received visions of Archangel Michael, Saint Margaret and Saint Catherine of Alexandria instructing her to support Charles VII and recover France from English domination late in the Hundred Years' War. The uncrowned King Charles VII sent Joan to the siege of Orleans' as part of a relief mission. She gained prominence after the siege was lifted only nine days later. Several additional swift victories led to Charles VII's coronation at Reims. This long-awaited event boosted French morale and paved the way for the final French victory.

"On 23 May 1430, she was captured at Compiègne by the Burgundian faction, which was allied with the English. She was later handed over to the English and put on trial by the pro-English Bishop of Beauvais Pierre Cauchon on a variety of charges. After Cauchon declared her guilty she was burned at the stake on 30 May 1431, dying at nineteen years of age.'" Yuni covered her mouth, tears glistening at the corners of her eyes, "Humans really are cruel."

Viper continued, not voicing her agreement. "'Her ninth life was Lisa del Giocondo, born 15th June 1479. She was known by many names; Lisa Gherardini, Lisa di Antonie Maria(or Antonmaria) and most importantly, Mona Lisa. Lisa was a member of the Gherardini family of Florence and Tuscany in Italy. As you know, her portrait, 'Mona Lisa', was commissioned by her husband and painted by Leonardo da Vinci during the Italian Renaissance.

"Her younger days were as amusing, confusing and hectic as any other Azrael-reincarnation's was. Greedy as ever, Lisa went to the gambling halls clothed in a dark hooded coat, and literally beat them of their money...in Poker.'" Yuni muttered something along the lines of 'never play poker with Viper-neesan'. Viper rolled her eyes. "'In her teens she married to a cloth and silk merchant who later became a local official. In her days she gave birth to 5 children and led what is thought to have been a comfortable and ordinary middle-class life. Lisa outlived her husband, who was considerably her senior.

"'Her death was a tragic, but peaceful, one. Her children and grandchildren surrounding her as she took her last breaths. Her death was a natural one.'" Yuni smiled, at least in that life Viper-neesan was relatively happy.

Viper took a deep breath. "'Azrael's – my – next life was...Elena Vera. Her father was Duke Antonio Vero and her mother was Angelica, who died on the 4th August, 1568 from childbirth. Elena grew up hating this life. Her father had grown into a cruel, horrid piece of man. Many times she had wondered how her mother could have ever loved him, but then she understood. The reason he became like that, was because of her. Because she killed Angelica.

"She took great care of the servants and everyone else in the mansion. In 1580, when Elena was 12, when she and the Head Maid, Monica, were out to do shopping, she met three young men by the names of Giotto, Cozart Simon, and G. She grew to like the kind Giotto, the calm Cozart, and the tempered G. She knew who they were, after all, she had once given them the meaning to create their dream. She watched as they created Vongola in 1583.'" By then, Yuni knew who this 'Elena Vera' was. How could she not, when she was the reason Enma's family was killed and Daemon swore revenge. Yuni stared at her wide eyes and Viper smiled sadly.

"I'll say this nicely. Daemon was an idiot. 'Elena had met Daemon Spade during an aristocrat party at her father's mansion where Duke Vera tried to engage Elena to someone. She learned of his equal resentment for other aristocrats who had no social standing for the public, and they both wished to change this as both of them believed that no matter position in society was, highly capable people should be the backbone of society.

"Elena later introduced him to the Vongola, and Daemon quickly became Giotto's, Vongola Primo's, Mist Guardian. Well, getting Daemon to join Vongola was an amusing affair that would go down in history as 'Vongola Insanity; Primo Edition: The Daemon Incident#1'." Viper chuckled.

"Elena and Daemon fell in love and in 1595 they got married with the whole of Vongola and Shimon and allies as guests. Daemon gave the Vongola everything he had for the love he had, for both, the Vongola and Elena. Because of this, she said that she thought that the Vongola Famiglia, protectors of the weak and defenseless, was Daemon's pride.

"As Vongola gained more power, Giotto grew more worried for the safety of his friends as Famiglia, and Elena, seeing this, urged him to leave for Japan. He did as the Mist told him to, and left in 1597. However, this action created an opening for an enemy Famiglia to invade Vongola's territory and critically wounded her, causing her death hours later, but not before telling Daemon to protect the weak with the Vongola because she believed Daemon would be able to do it. And, as you know, after she died, Daemon swore to make the Vongola strong in Elena's name, although he misunderstood her, assuming that she meant to eliminate the weak to make the Vongola strong. However, what he did not know, is that Elena had been pregnant with their second child, their first child having disappeared moments after his birth. Daemon was on a long term mission, and Elena did not want to make his despair at the loss of their child, so she told him nothing.'"

Yuni stared at her in shock. "S-Second child...does that mean we have Daemon's descendants running around?" Viper rolled her eyes.

"Chrome is Mukuro's long lost younger sister. Daemon's laugh was 'Nufufufu'." She deadpanned causing the young child to blink.

"Things suddently make sense. I now understand all of Mukuro-san's creepiness and Chrome-san's surprising skill in Illusions." Viper smirked at the compliment.

"'The name of her next life was Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed, was born on the 7th of August, 1560. However, in that life, Elizabeth was a little...well, unstable. She had grown to love seeing the blood of the innocent and had killed even during her childhood. In total, when she had died her death count was 1674. I don't have much to say about her, but Elizabeth was a cruel woman who became insane because of her countless reincarnations.' It was the life that I regret living." She stopped. Yuni gazed at her with sad, knowing eyes and the Mist Arcobaleno 'myu'-ed in discomfort.

"'Jane Austen was the name of her twelfth life. Jane had a calm life, so there isn't much to say. She was a quiet, unsocial but very intelligent child. Even when she was young, she spent her free time either at the gamble hall/bar or above her table writing stories and such. Later she published her books, one of them being Pride and Prejudice. Jane died a quiet, natural death.'" Yuni nodded to continue.

"'Her next life was Charlotte Brontë. In that life she was once again a writer but a bit more social. She wrote many books in her days, Jane Eyre being one of the more popular books. I don't really know what to say, but Charlotte died 3 weeks before her 39th birthday with her unborn child. Many think she died due to 'morning sickness' but in reality it was caused by the belladonna poison, again, which a maid unfortunately put in her tea on accident.'" She paused to take a deep breath.

"'Elizabeth Cochran, aka Nellie Bly, was the name of her next reincarnation. Nellie had a curiously adventurous life. In her young days she was usually found in the bars gambling with old men and drinking them under the table, or in the library reading. Later in her life, when she travelled around the world and had her 'asylum plan', she met tons of people and made many enemies and allies. In those years she had a rather..eccentric personality. Nellie died 1922 due to pneumonia after being drugged and thrown into the local lake during winter by one of the enemies I had mentioned.'" She shrugged at Yuni's rather aghast expression.

"'Her next life was, rather ironically, Ariana Dumbledore.'" Yuni giggled and Viper shot her a 'Look'. "'Ariana was the youngest of three children, her older brothers being Albus and Aberforth Dumbledore. Even at the age of six Ariana was a little wonder. Though, often times than not it caused headaches for the Dumbledore family.'" Viper sighed wistfully, eyes full of a certain type of melancholy Fran had when the young girl was remembering her parents.

"'Their happiness ended when a group of Muggle boys attacked Ariana when they saw her practicing her magic. Poor little Ariana was so traumatized she couldn't control her magic anymore. Her father went into a fit of rage and attacked the Muggles held responsible. The boys died and he was sentenced to Azkaban.

"Kendra, her and her brothers' mother, moved them to Godric's Hollow for protection for Ariana. But, when she was fourteen she had a huge fit when her favourite brother was not there – it was Aberforth, mind you – that ended up in her mother being dead. Her oldest brother, Albus, had to stay in England to take care of her seeing as Aberforth still had to finish his education at Hogwarts.

"Ariana's death was truly a tragedy. Sometime after Kendra's death Gellert Grindelwald moved in with his aunt Bathilda Bagshot after being expelled from his school. Albus, being the idiot who ignored the former's history of violence, soon joined him on conquering the world. Aberforth insisted the Ariana was in no shape to be running around, and he, Albus and Gellert argued. It ended in a three-way-duel that ended with me dying. At her funeral the youngest son punched Albus forever breaking his nose...'" She smiled sadly, a vacant look in her eyes.

"Do you miss them?" Yuni asked quietly. "Who?" Was the answer – well, question – she received. "The people from your past lives. God, Gabriel, Lucifer, the archangels, Joseph, Kawahira, the Sanctus, founders, Daemon, your children, your siblings... everyone. Don't you miss them?"

Viper smiled, a truly rueful, sad smile that had Yuni's heart clenching and her eyes prickling. "Sometimes, I do. Sometimes, I just want to curl up into a little ball and cry. Swear at my Holy Parents even. But I don't. The reason is, is because of everyone here. I truly value your friendships, even Fon's," she grimaced saying it. "And that is enough for me to forget I was Azrael, that I was the little murdered girl Titania, that I was an Earthborn, and just be Viper." Yuni smiled sadly at her Guardian's outburst, and stayed silent.

"Shall I continue?" Receiving a small nod she did just that. "'Vongola Ottava, Daniela di Vongole was the next life of the fallen angel Azrael. She was a headstrong, daring woman. Kind, accepting, forgiving. Those were the traits that female Skies tend to have, but Daniela defied her father's expectations and became the first Vongola Donna. She ended Vongola's shadier touchings, and started to add towns – Namimori included – under Vongola's protection under her rule.

"She raised her five children single handedly. The oldest son, Timoteo, who went on to become Vongola Nono, the oldest daughter, Alexandra, who ended up taking over CEDEF until Iemitsu came, the third oldest children – twins – Annabelle and Hadrian, who ended up joining the Varia somewhere along the road, and the youngest daughter, Aurora. Aurora was just like her mother; brash but with a hint of kindness and acceptance that oozed from Daniela in waves. So it wasn't a surprise that when Aurora was kidnapped by the Estraneo, Daniela handed off the job to Timoteo, deciding to give the rest of her life into finding Aurora and killing every Estraneo she found.

"Daniela was killed when Timoteo was in his mid to late thirties. Her death was greatly rewarded. As she went down she killed more than half of Estraneo's British branch, but was unfortunately caught in an explosion that destroyed the train track of Hogwarts for the rest of the year. So the brats had to Floo.'" Sweatdropping, Yuni thought her Guardian to be a rather vindictive person, but to be so happy about kids using Floo... She sighed and decided she was going to let Fon deal with Viper's unnatural habit of inflicting mental, emotional and physical trauma. "But, unfortunately, Aurora was never found and presumed dead.

"'Enough of her now, let's move onto a more pressing deal. Lavina di Serra, mother of Gokudera Hayato, was her reincarnation after Daniela's death. Her early life had been entertaining, seeing as how even when young Laving had made an impression when she played the piano. Honestly, it was all thanks to her mother she had gotten that far.

"It all went downhill from when a mafia boss fell in love with her and she had her baby taken from her. When she saw him, it was to only teach him the gift of the piano. Shortly before her death, she requested Shamal, an old friend of hers, to protect her son. She was killed by Lukas's – the name of Hayato's father – jealous wife.'" Yuni smirked, a truly daring expression for the usually modest Sky Arcobaleno.

"That means you Gokudera-san's mother. This is going to be amusing." She said softly, causing Viper to let out another burst of laughter. (No, not 'bark of laughter' cause that solely belongs to the dogs; Sirius, Remus, Hayato, and Ken)

(Fon swore that he would get how to make his precious Viper laugh out of his Sky. One way, or another. Eventually.)

"'The next name she received, more like gained, was Mammon, the second oldest Demon Princess of Hel, and a Demon ruler among Hell's court. She gained the name Mammon in her very first years of being a demon, and quickly joined her fellow rulers on the court. Her fellow rulers were Lucifer of Pride, but seeing as he was sealed by the Father, a demoness named Lilium took his place. Beelzebub of gluttony. Leviathan of envy. Asmodeus of lust. Belphegor of sloth. Satan of wrath. And Mammon of greed.

"However, there was also one more demon that ruled Hell along with the named demons; her name was Tristitia, the demon of sorrow, despair and despondency. She had given all the rulers of hell names of her kind. Gula for Lord Beelzebub of Gluttony, Luxuria for Lady Asmodeus of Lust, Superbia for Lucifer-er, sorry, Lady Lilium of Pride, Ira for Lord Satan of Wrath, Vanagloria for Lady Leviathan of Envy/Vainglory, Acedia for Lady Belphegor of Sloth, and Avaritia for Lady Mammon of Greed.

"Tristitia, or Tris for short, loved all of the demons as her own. Though, she was usually seen yelling at Satan for blowing up and scaring his fellow brothers and sisters. The demons spent their lives killing and condemning innocents to Hell, terrorizing the petty, arrogant humans till death.

"It all changed one starry night. Mammon was the weakest of the demons, along with Lilium, and they weren't fighters. A rogue demon attacked them both one night and murdered Lilium and Mammon brutally. The Kings and Queens of Hell did retribution for their lost sisters, but everything in Hell changed. It became a cold, cruel place filled with death and torture. Let it not be said that Hell was never the same.'" She finished with a small cough at seeing Yuni about ready to cry.

Viper hastily continued before the younger could burst into tears. "'Azrael's current life was christened Belladonna Dorea Liliana Potter at birth, which is my original name. The first fifteen months of my life were filled with the crazy antics of dogpapa Sirius and papa James, the amusing furball days of (honorary) uncle Remus – which literally caused my mother and James to nearly have a heart attack – the dangerous temper of Lilian 'Lily' Potter, and the stupid ideas of Peter.

"My life changed for the worst when Peter betrayed us and Sirius was taken to Azkaban and Remus was forbidden to see me. James and Lily were murdered by Voldemort on Samhain night in '81, causing Dumbledore, manipulative old bastard, to place me with my mum's sister and family relatives.

"In my childhood I was somewhat mistreated and neglected by my uncle, aunt and cousin – though the latter two did sometimes helped me – and that caused me to be a bit more vicious than in my last couple of lives, bar the Blood Empress and one or two other. I ran away when I was six and stumbled upon a rogue time turner that sent me back to '40s where I adopted the name 'Viper Blanche'.

"In my mid teens I met a young woman named Victoria Brume, who quickly adopted me into her family as a younger sister. She had a daughter a few months later named Charlotte, who I was honorary aunt to. Viki sadly died during childbirth. When Carla, that's a nickname for Charlotte, was six and I twenty, I was invited by 'Checkerface' to attend the meeting of the Arcobaleno.

"I attended, and a year later was baby sized. In 1979, when Carla was 30, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who I was godmother to. Her name was Francesca Alicia Brume, but you know her as Fran. I took care of the child when I had the time, but I gave the then-baby Fran to her father's mother to grow up with. I would not pull her into the mafia until I had to, she deserved a normal life. I continued stopping by for a few years until Fran was 10 and she joined Mukuro's pineapple gang. Skull laughed at me for that for days.

"And as you know, the rest is history.'" Smiling slightly, she watched as Yuni finally drifted to sleep and she let a few tears slip by. It hurt talking about what she would never have again, but it also helped her. She promised herself that she would try to be a great Guardian to Yuni, be a better godmama and make Albus Dumbledore's life a living hell. Brother or not, he deserved what was coming for him. He's becoming delusional since her death.

Viper finally drifted off into the peaceful abyss of sleep.

Hi guys, still alive. Please don't kill me for not updating Memento Mori and Hecate Potter. I have had a lot on my shoulders since February. I needed to fix my grades, get better from my fainting stunt on the 14th of February (I hate Valentine's), and other shit.

And yay! I finally started a new story.~

Question: What should I use for Yuni's surname? Kuroyuri or Giglio Nero?
