Freya, You will pay a grand sum of Five hundred million vails to the guild and twenty million to the Soma Familia for a rogue juggernaut attack that's taken place due to your actions. Additionally, you will have your room in Babel seized and you will not be able to leave Folkvangr for a total of six months until Denatus. Your familia will also be restricted to stay inside Orario. Lastly, for one year, starting in one week. Your familia will be banned from entering the dungeon. You may use this week to get all of your familia out of it. Story: Somebody Up There Likes Me

Chapter Fifteen: Loki's Gambit

The light finally died down and the crowd of gods and goddesses erupted. Freya could see Loki's eyes close as a grin flashed on her face. Loki's narrowed gaze fell on her.

Freya kept her face as neutral as possible. It was best not to give too much away due to emotions. All eyes were on her. Freya didn't bother looking around but she could feel the other gods gazes. She would bet they were enjoying this to a certain degree. The gods loved good jokes, gossip, and pulling fast ones on each other. No doubt many goddesses were getting a good kick out of this. They wanted this to happen. They were all jealous of her.

Her eyes, however, moved from Loki to Loki's children. Ais and Riveria. Loki's two familia members sat beside the red-haired goddess with both of them holding out their stones. They had just played their evidence against her. Proving that not only had Bell not had a Falna before Lady Falcon saved him, but he had one after leaving the dungeon.

It was pretty damning since one could not alter a memory crystal. One she didn't have an alibi, two it was her falna, three she was known as The Raider War Goddess. She was also called the female Ares in some circles. All gods knew her love for fighting since it was so close to Ares. However, the most damning thing about it was that Lady Falcon wasn't going to appear. There was no way she could make Lady Falcon appear because she was Lady Falcon! Loki finally had her right where she wanted her. This was utterly disgraceful of her. To be caught like this. For her image to be ruined in only a few hours. Imagine her shock when she was told about this farce only yesterday! They had given her very little time to prepare.

That is the way of the gods. It was very simple. There was no trial, only evidence to prove wrongdoing. Then a punishment.

It had only been a week after Bell's leaving. The moment Freya saw who was behind this she knew what Loki wanted. This whole mess was not meant to prove that she had done the crime but to make her give up Bell.

That's what the real reason was. Loki wanted her Bell. Sure, Loki wanted to dethrone her but Bell was the main objective. Freya hadn't had planned for this. Now her greatest disguise was used against her.

Freya was Lady Falcon, and now almost everyone will know it. She wanted to smirk as a thought popped up in her mind. She could use this as propaganda. Who wouldn't want the most beautiful and strongest warrior on their side? A goddess who is willing to fight alongside their chosen. Though it would say she was willing to break and bend the rules. Well, she never fully agreed to all the rules so it's not like she lied. Gods can't lie.

She could only use that if things settled down. If this case gets any worse she might even get sent back to heaven! No, that wouldn't happen. She had far too much pull but the look on Ouranos face wasn't spelling anything good for her either.

"Freya, you know what this means?" Came Ouranos cold voice that was directed at her. She could feel the frost in his tone as it chilled her skin. She wasn't afraid of this god, there was no real god she did fear anymore. She only had a mild interest in god affairs nowadays. Though she did have respect for a few. Ares's battle skills, Ouranos's management, Loki's mischief, etc.

"I do." The goddess in question answered from her spot below him. She was sitting in the middle of the room at a table by herself. Surrounded by all the other gods.

"We gods agreed upon these rules since the creation of this city. We established these laws to prevent infighting between ourselves and to keep the upper world safe from the monsters that lie below. They were also put in place to keep unneeded blood from being spilled. To see these laws being disregarded to this extent is far beyond mind-boggling." His eyes narrowed, "In retrospect you are one of the gods that disapproved of these laws. It would seem that you didn't even try to follow them as most have thought. I have made a grave mistake in putting my trust into you for protecting my city."

Freya's face twisted in rage. How dare she protect the city? "Oh?" She started, "My familia have always been the ones to answer the call when we were needed. We were the ones to drive off Ares and his band of warriors while the rest of the city coward behind us. Then there was also the Monster uprising, the day twelve years ago when all the lower floor monsters rushed to the top. We were the ones to fend that off-"

"Don't you mean you, Freya." Ishtar cut into the points that Freya was raising. Freya didn't even bother to answer the woman or even look like she heard anything.

"Hm, you say something Ishtar?" That seemed to get under the skin of the brown-skinned goddess of love.

"You know you heard me you pompous bit-"

"Enough, we have not heard from Freya that she is Lady Falcon, yet." Ouranos finished cutting the other goddess of love off.

"There is also the possibility that Bell Cranel was also charmed by Freya as well!" Loki added hoping to pour more salt on the wound.

"We can not prove that at this time. The boy in question isn't here to give his testimony."

"But-"

Freya laughed out at that, "You show emotions on your sleeve, Loki. It looks like Bell stays with me. Why don't you tell us the real reason why you brought this farce forward?"

That started a mumble throughout the gathered gods as they were starting to see through what was really going on. This wasn't a switching of power but rather a battle for a boy.

Loki's face twisted into a snarl. She opened her mouth to say something but stopped. Then a sneer crossed her face, "You sit there in your heartache. Waiting on for some beautiful boy to save you from your old ways. When will you learn Freya? You'll never know what true love is."

Freya's eyes locked with Loki's and you could feel the temperature in the room drop by twenty degrees. The urge to kill the red-haired goddess was overwhelming. Never in all of Freya's life on this plane of existence had someone said something that downright vicious to her. Hurtful, and so true.

"Oh, and this is coming from the goddess that's so bad with men she would latch on to one that just looks at her more than a few seconds?" She lashed back at the other goddess.

"What do you-"

"Silence!" The head god of the city roared. "We will get his testimony at a later date on his return. For now we will speak on matters that are before us." He looked back to Freya, "Freya you were asked to bring Lady Falcon with you. The fact that she is not here is telling."

Freya didn't bat an eyelash at the accusation. There was one sure way she could have gotten out of this whole mess. Yet, she would not waste it here. Freya could not ruin all the hard work she put into the Hostess or into Syr.

This time Freya didn't look at Ouranos but at Loki instead. She shot her a warm smile. She wanted to laugh seeing the trickster goddess's smug smile disappeared. She was taking great enjoyment from Loki's discomfort.

"Since Lady Falcon is not here-"

Freya turned to him still grinning pleasantly. She loudly interrupted Ouranos, "I grow tired of this and my options are very limited. I rather end this now then have it carry on all night with a losing argument. I am Lady Falcon." True but not entirely. Syr also shared that name with her.

Ouranos stayed silent before starting up again. "Then that settles that matter. However, we are not done with this. We are now moving to the second part that deals with the danger you cause in the dungeon."

"Come again?" She asked, tilting her head at the bold claim.

"Due to your actions of giving your blessing while in the dungeon it causes three juggernauts to be unleashed on the upper levels of the dungeon causing harm to a group of Soma familia members." Freya made sure not to use any of her divine powers besides blessing Bell. From what she understood the juggernauts were already out and about before she even found Bell.

Looking at Loki she looked as sinister as always. Loki was trying to pin what had happened on her with the whole mess. Fine, she would also take the fall for it. The last thing she wanted to do was give all of these gods clues on how special Bell really was. In fact, Loki might have been trying to cover for Bell by pinning the blame on her. It was the smartest move. If Ouranos found out what the two Goddesses know about Bell…

She glared up at Loki. She might have understood her motives but that didn't mean she had to like it. Why would she? Then there was Soma. That money-hungry alcoholic.

"Oh, then I apologize for my transgression towards the Soma Familia. It was not intentional."

"Regardless if it was or not. It still occurred. I will now pass my judgment on this case. Your Crime is severe, and the proof confirms these deeds to be true. Lastly, for one year starting in one week, your Familia will be banned from entering the dungeon. You may use this week to get all of your Familia out of it. If any are caught inside you will face harsher restrictions."

Sence Change: Freya After Trail

She was seeing red and she knew for a fact that no one had died, 'yet.' Freya wanted to scream out in rage at these claims. The Soma familia?! The fuck?! When in the name of Odin did they get involved!? 'That little…, I could, I could, I could destroy her! And her whole little Familia!' She ranted in her head. She had never been this heated before without something dying by the end of it!

How did things happen like this?! 'Loki. Loki... Loki. Loki! LOKI!' Whenever she got involved in anything it would blow up in your face. While the world falls apart she would be dancing between the cracks that she caused. This was one of those times now! These restrictions were beyond damaging! Then she had the gall to try and take her Bell! 'Never! I would never let her get him. What has Loki ever done for him?! She hasn't helped him grow stronger. She hasn't gifted him with anything of meaning.'

Then she had to say that one line about true love.

That had cut Freya. Loki knew far too much about her pain of never finding real love. Only just an attraction for strong-willed men and women. Bell, however, was making her feel something far different. These feelings weren't just want and lust. Those feelings might be there too, but there was a longing to have him next to her. A need. She never had one person make her feel like this. Bell had done something to her. He, unknowingly, made her change. It was a wonderful, but depressing change. She would never be the same.

Unlike the rest of her familia when they died she would feel sad and upset. The feeling Bell gave her was something else entirely. The more she thought about it, the more her mind settled on the fact. If Bell died, she would follow his soul just to be with him. She had to be on the same plane of existence he was on. That thought alone was shocking to her. She would give it all up to be with him. Everything she had ever built and fought for…

She'd drop it all for him.

All the built-up anger stopped at that moment. Her eyes widened as her cheeks flushed with color. Joy. That was the feeling overwhelming her now. She was delighted. 'I finally did it! I have finally discovered it. It only just took Loki destroying my image. Could this be true love? It has to be!' She would give it all up to be with Bell. Could Loki say the same? No, she could not.

Then she thought about what else that little viper had said. Even after that most amazing, wondrous thought, anger broke forth like a lightning storm. Loki had tried to use the, 'Oh, she charmed Bell' approach! To get Ouranos to have her remove her own falna from him! Thankfully he saw reason not to do that. Loki had no proof of that claim, as loose as it was. She dared to try to take him away from her?! That would not happen! She wouldn't let it happen! She would destroy anyone that tried.

Even if she removed the falna on him, he would still come back to her. She was sure of this. Bell had developing feelings for her. That and she had already tried to charm him. It didn't work, of course, she didn't say that. Her charm was far stronger than most other Goddesses. Her charm not only attracted people to her looks but it completely brainwashed them. Sadly, Bell resisted her charm. That meant that he could still deny or outright reject her if she ever pushed him too far. She would have to make more careful, precise steps to acquire her white rabbit.

In that trial, they would have used that against her. She had seen through that little ploy of Loki's.

If she could not charm him, then no one else could. She noticed how Ishtar became far more interested the further the trial went on. It seemed like all the Gods had taken notice of Bell because of this. Ishtar better get rid of those ideas of hers. It would not end well for her. Just like all of her other previous plans to overthrow her as number one!

Now it would seem she would have to get back at Loki in some manner. She would have to be careful or else she would find herself in a grave. Loki was a master at trickery and mischief. Something that could easily disrupt the best military strategy. Loki was no fool. She had gotten what she wanted, minus Bell. All of her plans had to be put on hold for a year and then some.

No doubt Loki will be pushing her familia to their limits to get a level seven adventurer to challenge her and Ottar. All she could do was sit on her hands for now. She pushed the doors open with a great force as she stormed out of the meeting hall within the guild. Loki had disgraced her with this act. All of her good deeds for this city had stopped Ouranos from pushing even heavier demands. She was really lucky because Lady Falcon was exposed to be her. That bloody elf of Loki's! She had managed to ruin everything.

She saw Ottar leaning against a pillar in the hallway. Hearing her heels as she descended down these infernal stairs. He opened his eyes and pushed off of the pillar. Her feathered cloak was in his large hands. Ottar had been waiting for her to descend down the steps. When she started getting closer he spoke, "My-"

"Quiet," She glared at the taller man before cutting him off. Ottar looked rather surprised at her tone and the way she silenced him, "Do not speak only listen," She demanded. She stopped at the third step from reaching the tiled floor. "Nothing good has come from this night. Gather all of the Familia in the pit. I will be there shortly to give an address. I have to go get my sweethearts." She finished reaching the floor and snatching her cloak from him and putting it around herself. She threw the hood over her head.

The word upset could not accurately describe the inner flames she was feeling at the moment. Loki had kicked the wrong dog of war. Did she think she would let this sit?! Luckily this was going to be kept from the public eye. The last thing she needed was for this to get out.

Her rank in Orario was the only thing that protected her. She couldn't charm any of the gods either thanks to Ishtar and, that, that Aphrodite! Aphrodite! How did Loki manage that one she had to wonder? No matter, Loki still failed to get Bell. The only successful thing about tonight. Seeing Loki's face when Ouranos rejected the idea. There was a mirthful expression on Freya's face.

She would still say that Loki did manage to get over on her. This was going to cost so much money and time. Her children would also suffer. How could they grow without the dungeon? Would she still be the number one familia in the city? Would one of the others get ideas to attack her? Was her reputation too damaged after tonight?

Rage. There was so much rage running through her veins. She had never been this humiliated in all her life. Did they honestly think this would stop her? Did Loki think she could put the reins on her familia?

The tower of Babel stood before her. A glare was present on her face as her gaze looked to her room at the top. She would not allow this! She could not let her familia fall behind the others. The other gods know that this is their chance to replace her at the top. She reached the top of the stairs and pushed through the doors. Her sight closed in on the magic elevator on the right. She was lost in deep thought as she waited. Her scowl deepened as she crossed her arms. She had to be far more careful cause eyes would be on her far more than they used to be. Loki had really stabbed a sword in her-

Putting a hand to her cheek as she hummed in thought. A smile crossed her face. A horrible grin. A grin that of a monster; enough to freeze anyone that might have seen it. She stepped into the elevator as it arrived. Going to the top floor of her soon to be old room. She had to get some things for tonight. She had her own scheme forming in her head. Loki might have stopped one of the best ways to grow one's growth but there was another way.

Her smile of death and war had only gotten wider as she reached the top floor. Gliding over the smooth floor like a ghost she reached her room. Opening the door, her eyes snapped to the two cats that seemed to be awaiting her. They were sitting by her chair obediently, "Follow me, my sweethearts." She called to them as she skipped to her secret room.

She was beyond happy at what was about to come from her little plan. They say the gods are not allowed to use their powers. That was fine, she didn't need any goddess abilities to wield a sword. This was going to be the last time in a long while she would use magic. Putting magic into the wall and the door opened to her call.

The armory was in full view. Her face darkened, "I am a Goddess of war! I only need a weapon to conquer my enemies." She donned her armor and picked up her swords. She placed on her feather cloak around her. Her helmet was in her hands "Tonight my familia learns what it means to fight for a goddess of war. I will take a far more active role in their growth! When I'm done with them there will be no level two left in my familia."

Not counting Bell. He was the only one that would not have to face her. A more charming smile crossed her face as she placed her helmet on, "Yet." She wanted to test his abilities when he came back.

"Come Bygul and Trjegul." She waved for her cats to move in front of her. "This will be the last time you will see this place." It was probably the last time she would see this place as well. She no longer needed it. She had Bell, and he would be staying at Folkvangr. Babel was nothing to her anymore but an unneeded room. Why be in a place where nothing you wanted was located?

"Oh, Loki. I think you might have lost this gamble now that I give it some more thought." She grinned as they stepped into the elevator. "To Folkvangr!"

Sence Change: Hermes

Hermes lifted his feathered hat up as he ran a hand through his golden locks. Orange eyes glancing around the small establishment. There were very few patrons here. The chatter was light and welcoming for a port city. Melen was a fishing city located three kilometers to the southwest of Orario on the shores of Lolog Lake. Said lake was a giant brackish water lake that is connected to the sea. Known as "Orario's entrance to the sea" ships from foreign countries visit the city daily to trade goods.

The Njord Familia resides in the city and is in charge of the city's fishing district. The city has really taken off due to their leadership of the port. He, however, didn't come for the fish or the Njord Familia. No, he had another mission to attend to. Dusting off his long sleeve shirt he strolled further into the bar. Pulling down his orange scarf as he smirks at the person he had been looking for.

A large man with grey combed hair, a mustache, and a beard. His yellow eyes shined at the sight of him. He was wearing a white long-sleeve button-up shirt. He had his sleeves rolled up a bit up his forearms. Blue overalls covering most of him and dark brown boots. He had a pint of alcohol at the table and a plate of bread and butter next to it. Hermes couldn't help but call out to him, "Long time no see, friend! Still trying to hide as a farmer?"

"Ah, Hermes!" The large man waved at him with a laugh, "Still dressing like a clown I see."

Hermes's eyes twitched at the insult. His outfit was not of a clown but a traveler! His dark green feathered hat. His long-sleeve green shirt with a light orange stripe in the middle. A belt over the shirt at his waist and light orange pants with light brown boots. How did he look like a clown?! Putting a hand to face to cover his disdain at the slur. "I look like a traveler that has explored the world, not a clown."

"Whatever, that's not important," It was to him! "Tell me this news you have on Bell! You sounded excited. Something good must have happened! Don't tell me he already has a harem!" He clapped his hands together, "Yes, that must be it! I didn't think he had it in him! He was always saying handling one woman would be enough but it looks like I got through to him finally!"

Seeing an opportunity to jump in Hermes did so, "No, he does not have a harem or is in a relationship." He notified the large god. "He-"

"That no-good kid!" The man barked interrupting Hermes once more, "He is still a disappointment it seems! I bet he hasn't achieved anything in the city either!"

"If you will let me finish!" Hermes finally lost his cool with his friend and boss. Zeus quiets down but grumbled under his breath. Hermes sighed aloud before continuing, "While he might not have a girlfriend or a harem. There does seem to be girls that are interested in him."

Zeus waved him off like that was no big deal, "Bell has a pretty boy face. That means little."

"Anyway, Bell is pretty well known now. I don't think anyone in the dungeon city won't know about him by the end of the week. He just tamed two whole monster rabbit species and then marched them down the street like it was nobody's business." Hermes grinned seeing the large man smiled wide.

Zeus gave a mighty laugh, "That is grand news! I'm in shock! I didn't think he would be a good adventurer, but a ladies man! It would seem it was the opposite. Oh, I was not expecting this." The large god paused and rubbed his chin in thought. "That does bring up some questions though. What level is he? What Familia is he in? What is he planning to do with all those monsters?"

Hermes smirked at Zeus, "I can answer all of those questions. From what I heard Bell is planning to take the monsters up into Siberia."

Zeus didn't look too surprised by that, "Yes, that would make sense. Nobody lives up there so no one will complain about them. That is a reasonable idea. Though he must be careful, those three gods are up there."

"Yeah, no kidding, now get this," Hermes motioned with his hand for Zeus to get closer. He did, "From what I heard from my familia is that he was apparently a no-level for the entire time. He wasn't even in a familia."

"Ooooh! You must be pulling my leg!" Zeus said slamming his big fist into the table. "The guild would never let that happen. Not since gods started giving their blessings."

"Now, now, I get that and all, but it was never really that restricted. Highly frowned upon, yes, but not barred." Hermes waved his hands out in front of him, "That is beside the point anyway. I got something even more important to tell you."

"What could be more important than hearing about Bell's no-level adventures?"

Hermes smirks as he leans forward, "The familia he joined."

Sence Change: Ottar

He watched on as everyone was gathered in the pit as the Goddess had instructed. He was a little surprised that everyone in the familia was gathered here. He had expected that some would still be out.

That was not the case all members were here besides the newest and oldest members Sitting around the underground combat ground known as the pit. The pity was shaped like a circle and had a fifty-yard diameter. It had a hill like slopes that leads up to the top where there was seating around the pit. The doors that lead down to the pit showed a group of people fighting each other. Freya had called it the eternal battle. He had never asked what that meant. He didn't need to as he had understood the meaning for it. At the very end of the pit, there was a large well-designed throne covered in gold and animal furs.

Unlike the garden out in the back of Folkvangr, the pit wasn't used for sparring purposes. No, it was used for gaging one's abilities. Here you would be under the careful watch of the captains or on a very rare occasion, Freya.

Pit battles were also like competitions between familia members. You would fight someone that was on your level at the end of the week. It was at random who you fought. The pit was also used as a place for something else called flyting. It was a contest consisting of the exchange of insults between two parties, often conducted in verse. The pit was built to also keep unwanted eyes away from them. It was also a meeting place that was used to give addresses much like what was about to happen.

He was still worried about his goddess. She had wanted to go alone by herself. It was something she normally never did. Her tone was also something that had been new too. He had never seen her that angry before. He was having a hard time understanding what was going on. All he had been informed was that tonight was not a good night.

It had something to do with the Gods and her. He had no idea what that could be. He just did what he was told to do. Allen, his vice-captain, was standing next to him with his arms crossed. His face was neutral, and that common frown was nowhere to be seen. He was worried about the Goddess. He knew. Allen might dislike most of the members in the Familia but he would never do anything to upset the goddess. He could control himself a lot better than most thought he could. His tongue, however, was a different story.

"We have been waiting for almost two hours. I should go look for her." Allen started moving but Ottar stopped him.

"No, she will be fine. She has those two with her."

Allen paused. "What happened to cause her to go get them?"

Ottar did not say anything. He didn't need to. They would find out the moment she got here. Allen would have to wait like the rest of them. Ottar wished to know what events have transpired to cause his Goddess so much dismay.

The two doors to the pit were thrown open wide and hard and the doors slammed against the walls. The sound easily caught the attention of all of the Familia. Standing at the top of the stairs was someone that he had only heard of. The oldest member of the familia. Lady Falcon. The ace of the familia was before them. That was something Freya had always said. Ottar would not win against her. He was not strong enough. Lady Falcon was still reported to be level six. He was a level seven. That meant one of two things. Freya had stopped reporting her growth or she had a skill that could take him down. He would like to find out which one it was.

He craved a good battle from time to time.

"Lady falcon!" One of the older members had called out in surprise.

That was what got most of the members talking. This was the most elusive member of the familia. She was known to be the first one that joined Freya's familia. She hadn't been seen by many. In fact, the ones who had were either dead or were some species that lived longer than hundreds of years. To finally get a full look at her was… interesting. It meant something big was going to happen. Could this have been what was taking his Goddess so long?

She descended down the stairs with grace kindred to the gods. Ottar had noticed that the door to the pit was also closing. It meant that she had calculated how much force was needed to get the attention of everyone and close the doors at the same time. She wasn't wasting a single movement. Then Ottar's eyes had widened when he noticed what she was wearing and what was following her. The cloak of falcon feathers was around her armor as it dragged behind her. She was flanked on both sides by Bygul and Trjegul. Those cats only listened to and followed Freya.

That couldn't be! He didn't want to believe it. Looking towards Allen he observed that Allen had come to the same conclusion. His mouth was dropped and was hanging just a bit. He was struck dumb as much as he had been. "Oh, good Goddess."

Lady Falcon continued her path right down into the center of the pit. She looked around the gathered group as the two cats climbed up the stairs to sit at the throne. Throwing the hood off, her helmet could be seen and the lower part of her face was shown to have a grin that terrified him. The strongest one in the city. Her hands reached up and pulled her helmet off revealing the Goddess Freya.

For anyone that wasn't an executive or Helun, this is what shocked them. Their Goddess was standing before them deck out in armor as if she was going into battle. The room was dead silent as they waited for something to break it. No one had even heard of her fighting before. She always had someone else doing it for her. Ottar did not believe she knew how to fight.

Now he finally understood. How could a goddess of war not know how to fight?

"This is better than expected!" She let out, finally ending the quiet that has fallen over the pit. "I'm impressed. The whole familia is here!" Her grin twisted into something close to death's embrace. "Wonderful!"

No one dared to speak. Their goddess looked like she was going to kill someone and would enjoy doing it. It was unnerving and something that seemed so out of place but yet it looked like it belonged there. Ottar had never seen her like this before.

Allen took a step forward, "My Goddess?"

She crafted the purest smile she could for her most faithful, "Allen, and the rest of you, listen. Do not speak, only listen to me and whatever I say. It is for the survival of our familia."

Whatever the familia members were feeling was gone now as a new emotion took over them. Dread. What did she mean by that?

"Allow me to begin. I have kept a good amount of secrets from you all as all gods do. As you all have no doubt noticed, I am also Lady Falcon. My guise for when I fought in the dungeon." She explained and once again was only greeted with silence. No one wanted to be the one that pulled on the last string that would push her further away from stabilizing. "Unlike my fellow gods of war who stopped partaking in war, and battles, I have not. I will never lose my edge, or be dull to time. I refuse to lose. Much like the rest of my familia, we were once all so very weak but we built ourselves up to what we are now."

Her anger was brought forth in the same fury as a twister that ravaged the plainlands! "This disguise I used to feed my lust for battle has been lifted by Loki and her children not only hours past. I have received a hefty punishment for my disobedience." She practically spits out the word harshly as if it disgusted her. "After everything I had done for this city, this is the thanks I get?" She questioned loudly. "To slay monsters, to make true warriors able to defend the city themselves, to show my loyalty to the city?"

"I must have done nothing in their eyes." She sighed as she continued on with what these consequences were, "We have to pay a large sum of money to the guild and the Soma familia. Five hundred and twenty million vails. I have lost my room in Babel and will not be able to leave Folkvangr for six months. You all have been restricted to stay inside the walls of the city."

"Then there is also the fact that we have been banned from the dungeon for a year." Much to her surprise no one spoke out about this. Everyone was still watching her. "This is not a time to be upset, but rejoice! I might have been bested by Loki, but she has awakened the wrong dragon. For now I'm wide awake and I'm very vexed! To be betrayed like this by a person I thought was my dear friend. This backstabbing will be repaid in full to be sure."

"She believed she could stop our growth! She believes she might have a chance to overtake our rank as number one! She believes she can take what is mine! She must have forgotten I am a goddess of war and death as well! She forgets that I love a good battle! That I crave for violence and passion! You all that I have chosen are the same as me. At the very core you are warriors! You live for battle and war! It's all we know! It's all we want to do! To fight and prove ourselves worthy. Loki won't stop our growth. No, she has only helped push it further! I do not want any retaliation against them for now." She ordered and she smiled once more. A kinder smile full of warmth.

"Aren't you so lucky you have such a caring goddess that will take control of your growth personally?! From this day forward the pit will open every day and you all will cross blades with me! Come my children! Today you will learn what it means to join a goddess of war and death! You have only ever seen my beauty, my love, my care, and now you will finally get to experience the last of my domain! Show me your potential! Show me your love of battle! Show me the reason I chose you to fight for me! Come and face me here and now!"

"Or do I have to come and show you all my conviction?" There was a great feeling of doom that kept people in their seats.

Ottar was so shocked by all of this he took a step away from his Goddess. Was this the delicate Freya? It couldn't be. She didn't even seem to be the real Freya anymore. What had Loki done?

Allen took another step forward and Drew his spear. He slowly descended down the steps catching his goddess gaze. She smiled wonderfully at him. "I will fight you first."

Loki had driven Freya into madness and Ottar would make her pay for her actions. This he swore on his goddess name.

Sence Change: Hermes

"What do you mean he joined the Freya familia!" He bellowed at Hermes.

"Keep it down will you! Do you want everyone to know? I mean you're supposed to be in hiding. Right, Jupiter." Hermes whispered and yelled at him causing Zeus to cross his arms under his chest.

"We will be fine, but I warned him of her! That boy never listens to a word I say!" Zeus rants to his long old friend. "How did Freya look at him?"

"It was odd to say the least. She had this gaze that looked far too enticed, even for her."

"Odd. She has never looked at anyone like that before. How has Bell charmed her so?" Zeus asked then immediately answered himself, "It must have been my training. He just put the moves on the wrong person."

Hermes shook his head at Zeus, "I don't think that's it. Your so-called moves are what made you have to change your name in the first place." He leaned forward, "From what I heard Bell hasn't really been seen interacting with Freya. To make things odder, no one had even known that Freya had gotten him. Most of the other Gods wanted to see how far he could go by himself. Freya blindsided everyone when she claimed him as hers. Then again she was the one to suggest everyone should sit by and watch his growth."

"Ah, that sly goddess pulled a fast one on all of you? Interestingly, I think it's time I reappear for Bell. He will most definitely need help up north. I have a lot of things I wish to discuss with-"

"ZEUS!" A loud feminine scream echoed throughout the town. Hermes' head whipped towards the door while Zeus stood up from his chair. A cold seat was appearing on his brow. He slowly looked back down at Hermes.

"Hermes… That sounds like… her."

"...Yeah."

"It can't be though."

"I don't know Zeus, it sounds too much like her to not be."

"How? How could she find me?"

"HERMES!" The roar erupted closer to the establishment. The person in question was getting closer. To the place.

Zeus's head snapped towards the door before back at his friend, "Oh no… You lead her to me, Hermes! It's Hera!"

"How!? I made sure! I swear!"

The door to the small bar slammed open and in popped the dark form of a woman with brown curly hair and blazing red eyes. The look on her face made Hermes freeze in place. Their eyes locked in on each other. He broke eye contact to look at Zeus only to find him no longer at the table and the window adjacent was open and moving. That bastard had left him! With her no less!

He didn't have much time to react as she was before him causing him to fall out of his chair. "Where is he?" Is all that she asked glaring down at him.

"Well, I don't know who you are-" Hermes found himself cut off as he was lifted out of his seat by his neck.

"You don't fool me Hermes. Where is he?" Hera mashed her teeth together.

She loosens her grip on his neck, "I was-" her grip tightened once more, "talking with- Jupiter! Jupiter! I swear it was Jupiter!"

"Then where is he, Hermes? Where is Jupiter? Why would he run from me?"

"You constantly have mistaken him for Zeus, that's-" There was a loud bang and everything went black as he was thrown through the wall.

Sence Change: Bell Cranel

My eyes keep a close watch over the rabbit monster that hopped along the forest floor. "Only two more weeks left to reach the winter wasteland," I muttered to myself before going back to write in my journal that Freya had given me.

Entry Number Eight: Like I had said early in my writing of a previous page, Freya wanted me to document each day in a series of journals while on my trip. The trip was long and tiring thus far. Pretty boring too. There was plenty of confusion to boot as I had to explain to passersby from Blarefalls that everything would be fine. Reluctant they were, they still went their own way. Most of the wildlife gave us a clear path. Almost like they knew that these rabbits were different.

Even the larger animals that would normally eat or hunt rabbits would stay a distance away from the group. My supplies were holding at this point too. There has been nothing out of the ordinary as of yet and I feel as if I'm wasting a page in this journal for having nothing to report.

There seems to be a massive storm forming I can tell by the dark clouds out in the distance. It looks powerful and it's rotating. I think we might need to hunker down for a bit.

I stopped writing and gazed upwards at the ugly looking clouds. "Helix," I yelled down at the rabbit monster.

"Yes, Jackalope?" The black rabbit asked.

"Have the herd take shelter, we got a bad storm on the way."

"Storm?" The creature asked.

I blinked at that but realized these monsters had no idea what a storm was. "Yeah, water that falls from the sky, light flashes, strong winds, and loud booming sounds. Have the herd take shelter."

"It will be done."

I continued to watch the storm in peaceful silence. After about six minutes, the first flash of lightning could be seen. Then came the crack of thunder. "This can't be good," I noted as leaned forward. "I've never seen a storm do that before." I decided to write once more in my journal.

The storm is acting weirdly. I cannot say I have seen weather like this before. The clouds move far more rapidly than I have ever seen before. They twist and turn and reach downward. It is odd. Yet, I can't look away.

Author's note: Hey boys, I'm back! I wonder what Bell is watching right now?
