A/N: Yo~!

A MAN LIVES~!

A MAN RETURNS FROM WORK~!

A MAN KEEPS HIS PROMISES TO THE FANS~!

Spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 1-8 ahead.

Well. That was certainly the end of the season, wasn't it?

And that's all I'm going to say. Yup. Absolutely. Nothing else at all.

Some have been saying I only update Fate stories these days. What say you now?!

Someone said I'm acting like I'm god's gift to mankind. I disagree. I'm just a man. Just a writer.

I'm not lashing out at anyone. Nor are the readers to blame. You guys are cool. The trolls are just...persistent. And loud.

I don't know what else to say at this point. I just pushed out an insane amount updates, and hopefully will continue to do so every day. Hell, there was a quad-four-update only a few days ago. Then a double just yesterday. So far, this makes NINE updates in less than a week now. I AM writing other stuff besides Fate. Now could the flamers stop telling me to die, and for the love of god, stop with the death threats.

There we go. That's the long and short of it.

I have a life outside of this site now; a life involving a young nephew, two jobs and little slese because I have responsibilities these days, responsibilities I cannot shirk. I write in my free time. I do not get paid for any of it. I do not accept commissions, only requests. Now, I'm not begging for reviews here. Far from it. I'm grateful for every kind word and criticism I get. But its when folks curse and threaten me that I begin to lose my temper.

Anyway, I'm off to work another double. Looking forward to chatting with you all when I get back.

Reviews are love. Reviews are life. Reviews make me strive.

References are glorious and I own nothing~!

There, ye have been warned.

Onto season three~!

Yes, its short.

Sorry.

"I see. You're not going to tell me where you're from, are you?"

"Begging your pardon, but its best if you don't know."

"You do realize I will find out. Sooner or later."

"That may be, but it...it can't be from me."

"Fair enough. As you were, then."

Never Again

...why is there a dragon on my head?!"

Daenerys did not laugh at Naruto. No. Not at all.

Really, she didn't. She absolutely did not snicker, did not giggle, and CERTAINLY didn't cackle when Viserion decided Naruto's hair would make a fine nest. The outraged squawk he gave broke the Mother of Dragons from her more maudlin thoughts this afternoon and kept her. So, no, she didn't laugh. She did, however, favor him with a small smile. It was made all the more endearing by the fact that the blond simply didn't know what to do at first; beyond trying to tug the scaled little creature out of his hair.

"It would appear he's grown rather fond of you."

Sputtering softly, the young man shooed the dragon away. "Well, he can show it in other ways.

His spar with Jorah now resumed, Naruto settled back into a stance as she looked down from the ship's wheelhouse.

Rather than wield a sword, the whiskered warrior had elected to fight barehanded. More often than not, this resulted in him being knocked blat on his back by the larger knight. Each time he pulled a quick kip-up, leaped to his feet, and attacked again. Each time, he seemed to last just a little bit longer. Flying at him from all manner of unconventional angles, turning his blows aside at the last second to surprise his foe, he delivered more hits unarmed than the stubborn bear could deliver with his great blade.

"Careful, now!" she called down at them. "I don't want the two of you getting hurt."

Both men paused long enough to bow before resuming.

With the gentle sway of the ship came peace and quiet, as well as time to think. The distance sound of their skirmish should've distressed Daenerys; instead it lulled her into quiet complacency. When Drogon swooped in to roost beside her, she contented herself by stroking his dark scales.

His happy trill was all the reward she needed.

Her dragons were growing to be sure, but not fast enough. They needed time. Time she didn't have.

Thump.

Qarth had taught her a harsh lesson; trust freely given was not so easily returned. No. She would not make the same mistake with Astapor when they finally made landfall. She would be more guarded. Clearly this strange men were not above using her for their own ends. So she would watch, she would wait, and she would not make the same mistake again.

Thump!

But she had to trust someone. Who was left to trust, then? Who could she believe in? Jorah? Certainly. He had proven his loyalty time and time again. He would never betray her. Naruto? He had no reason to turn on her and seemed ready to spit whenever the topic of slavery was brought up. They could be trust to protect her with all of their skill certainly. And yet it didn't change the fact that she was exposed, that she was vulnerable.

THUMP!

A distant crack-crack-crack told her she'd been lost in her thoughts too long; when she glanced their way again she realized Naruto and Jorah had disengaged from one another; her knight was now dutifully sharpening his blade while Naruto had taken to...wait. What was he doing? Why was he punching a barrel? The only thing he seemed to be doing was hurting himself. Yet he kept flying at the barrel, his body twisted into a complex rota of twisting blows and sweeping kicks that didn't seem to move so much as blur.

"What are you doing?"

He answered with a rusty chuckle. "Practicing. Those sorcerers caught me off guard." came the grunt. "It won't happen again."

Daenerys had seen that barrel shudder. Had he truly hit it that hard? Even Jorah wasn't that strong.

When she later inspected it, she'd find that lone punch had nearly split the casing in half.

She never quite looked at Naruto the same way after that.

And yet his smile never once changed or felt false.

How very...curious.

A/N: I own no dialogue from season three or any affiliated materials.

I lost ALL of my notes for this story in the fire, meaning I had to recreate everything in my head from scratch. Sorry about that.

Obviously I'm not going to say how this story ends; but if you expect rainbows and sunshine...well. To quote Ramsay, "You haven't been paying attention." Some will live. Some will die. Some might even go so far as to surprise some of you beyond measure. You never know...

So...in the Immortal Words of Atlas...

...Review...Would You Kindly?

And enjoy the previews!

Potential ones!

(Preview(s)

Kraznys mo Nakloz had a strange name and talked in an even stranger language Naruto didn't understand. Thankfully, Missandei translated well enough.

She even smiled at him.

Naruto blinked.

Well!

"Careful."

"Why?" Blue eyes hardened with a gleam of defiance. "She is our queen. I serve her. As well all do. But I'm not above smacking fool notions out of her head. She needs more than loyalty in the days to come; she needs good men and women by her side. Friends. Advisers yes, but friends. People she trusts."

Why did Jorah flinch just now?

"Do you want her to burn the world, Ser?" he took a step closer toward Barristan. "Because that is what WILL happen if she doesn't keep that temper in check."

R&R~! =D
