Chapter 11: Casts Are So Annoying!

"I'm starting to hate these casts." Naruto grumbled and a chubby teenager boy glances at him as he munch on his sandwich before he blink few times.

"Naruto, are you gnawing?" The chubby teenager raised his eyebrow and Naruto was actually chewing on his arm cast furiously.

"Yes, Chaz, I am." The blonde teenager replied, "Damn itch, it's way too deep for me to reach!"

"Why not using a stick or something?" Chaz asked before he pick a spork up, "What about this one?"

"I tried with sticks but Lori kept taking them away and smacks my head every single time." Naruto grunted, "I swear she have some kind of radar…"

"Stop doing that, you're making a scene!" Lori suddenly smacked the back of his head as she walked past him with Bobby, "Like, it's so embarrassing!"

"See?" He gestured to his said sister as she walked into the cafeteria with her boyfriend and Jackie walk out toward the group with trays in her hands.

"Yo, what did I missed?" Jackie handed Naruto a tray of lunch before she sit down next to him with her own lunch.

"Naruto gnawing on his cast." Chaz replied.

"Again?" The skater looked at her best friend oddly.

"Hey, the itch is too annoying." Naruto huffed, "I'd like to see anyone resist that itch if they have it." He take the spork from Chaz then attempt to scratch it under the cast, only to get a smack to the back of his head from Luan as she walk by with her friends. "Et tu, Brute?"

"Sorry, Lori told me to do that or she'll spill some beans to mom and dad to get me grounded!" Luan hollered over her shoulders, "I'll make it up to you later!"

"Ugh…" The blonde teenager groaned to himself before he poke his food with his spork, "So anyway, what's the news?"

"I just got a ticket to SMOOCH concept this week!" Chaz grinned widely, "I'm so psyched!"

"That's awesome, man." Jackie took a bit of her pizza slice.

"Cool, my lil bro is going too with his friend." Naruto said, "Maybe you'll see them there. It's his first concept." Little did he know is that Luna just overheard him, due to their tables sitting across from each other.

"Wow, your bro's a SMOOCH fan too?" The chubby teenager whistled and the blonde nod his head.

"For me, nothing news." The skater said, "Beside trying some tricks out and few new video games."

"Oh, what games?" Chaz asked curiously.

"Call of Duty and Battlefield I." Jackie said.

"Oh, you got Battlefield?" Naruto whistled, "Is it any good?"

"Yup, it is." The skater nodded, "It has six campaigns with all different characters in different battles and they are very interesting…I admit, two of the campaigns' storyline's ending almost makes me cry." She glanced at her best friend, "You should come over and check it out when you get out of casts."

"I will." He nodded.

"What about you?" The chubby teenager turned to Naruto, "What's news with you? How was the weekend?"

"Nothing much, just stuck with sofa for the whole weekend." Naruto sighed before a smirk appears on his face, "But at least, I can move around this week…" Another sigh escape his lip, "That's if I have any plans."

"Ah…" Chaz tilted his head, "But I heard some rumors that someone asked you out and you turn her down."

"Oh, really?" Jackie blinked at her best friend curiously, "Did it happened?"

"Well, yeah." The blonde teenager muttered, "Someone asked me out through Facebook's message but I turned her down because I don't know her this well and…You know, the Reggie thing."

"Oh, I see." The chubby teenager nodded understandingly.

'Wasn't that a few months ago?' The skater thought, glancing at Naruto as they ate their lunches and chat until the end of lunch period.

After school, Jackie have drop Naruto off at his home before she drive off for her part-time job after a quick bye. The blonde teenager hop up few steps to the front door then walks in, only to nearly bump into Lincoln. "Whoa!" Naruto managed to keep his balance up with bit stumble, "Lincoln, why were you standing in front of the do…" He slowly trailed off when he notices a plastic cage with purple tarantula, "Is that a tarantula?"

"Shh, Naruto!" Lincoln flailed his left arm at him, shushing him hurriedly as he glance around worriedly. "We can't let Leni know about Frank! It's my turn to look after him today for a class project and if Leni know, she'll…"

"Kill it with her Spider Killer spray or call the exterminator." The blonde teenager finished his little brother's sentence, "Well, you better hide him in your room and hope that Leni don't come in." Lincoln nodded his head, "It's only for a day, right?"

"Yea…" The white-haired boy said before they both hear Leni's scream.

"SPIDER!" Lincoln and Naruto jolted up as the white-haired boy swiftly hid the cage behind his back.

"Leni, it's not a…" Lincoln closed his mouth as soon as Leni ran away from Luan, who was chasing her around with rubber spider on string as the jokester laugh her head off. He decide to use this chance to race up to his room and Naruto walk to the sofa then sit down.

"NARUTO, SAVE ME!" Leni screeched as she dove behind her brother, "KILL THE SPIDER! KILL IT! KILL IT!"

"Aw, come on." Luan laughed as she jiggled the fake spider, "It's fake."

"Yeah, it's rubber." Naruto flicked the spider away as it swing lifeless, "See?"

"…Not real spider?" The ditzy teenager peeked over Naruto's shoulders nervously as her brother nod before she pout at her laughing sister with half-hearted glare, "Luan, it's not funny. I hate spiders so much!"

"It's funny!" Luan walked away with another giggles and Leni let out a huff before she walk upstairs as Naruto take some of his homework out.

"Let's see, what should I start with first?" Naruto muttered to himself as he looked over the papers, he pause for a moment when he hear his siblings shouting 'Nothing' out of nowhere then there was silence. He shrug his shoulders before he start his science homework first.

Twenty minutes later, Naruto was on his last homework of the day and he filled some blank questions on his history homework until he hears few horrific screams. Naruto looks up to his right to see Leni walk down to the kitchen with a cheery smile and he notice Frank on her back as the widened-eyed siblings hurriedly follow her. There were some noises coming out from the kitchen and Naruto get up to check on the scene out of curiosity, only to hear a loud screaming.

"SPIDER!" Leni's voice cried out as the siblings screamed out before the ditzy teenager zoom past Naruto, following by cloud of green gas. "WORST SURPRISE PARTY EVER!"

Naruto glance between the kitchen's entryway and fleeing ditzy teenager before he peek in, "Um, is Frank ok…" He spots Lincoln crying over a strange-looking ball, "Never mind."

"I just wanna say I'm sorry for your loss…" Lucy patted Lincoln's back before she pull a brochure out behind her back, "And that I'd be honored to serve as funeral director. I keep an assortment of caskets on hand. Were you thinking shoebox, or for a little more money, mahogany?"

"I'll get the shovel." Naruto hobbled outside with a mutter.

The group surround a shoebox next to hole between the house and garage and they were joined by Clyde as he carry a casserole dish. "Hey, Lincoln." Clyde said, "I bought you this casserole. My nana says that there's no greater comfort in times of grief."

"Thanks." Lincoln sighed sadly, "This might as well be my funeral, too. Our whole class is gonna hate me for letting this happen to Frank."

"We are gathered here to mourn the untimely passing of Frank the tarantula, a pet beloved by all." Lucy announced.

"Except Leni!" Lola said spitefully.

"The murderer!" Lana glared.

"Yeah!" Lori agreed, "This is all Leni's fault." The sisters agreed together.

"Hey, it's not Leni's fault because she have arachnophobia." Naruto spoke up, "Also she have no idea about Frank."

"Naruto's right." Lincoln chimed in, "This isn't Leni's fault. It's mine. I knew Leni was afraid of spiders, but I bought Frank home, anyway. It was a bad idea." His head dropped, "I guess I deserve to have my whole class hate me…" At this moment, Cliff the cat cough up a hairball and it land on Lincoln's shoes.

"EW!" Lola stepped back with a gag, "Gross, Cliff! Show some respect!"

"Weird!" Lana picked the wet hairball up to the group, "This hairball looks like Frank!"

"EW!" Her twin shivered, "Gross, Lana! Show some respect!"

"Because this isn't Frank!" The white-haired boy gasped after he compare the hairball to so-called corpse, "It's a hairball, too! Which means…" His eyes lit up with everyone else, "Frank could still be alive!"

"SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIDER!" A high-pitched scream alerted the group.

"And it sounds like Leni just found him!" Lincoln gasped.

"Um, that wasn't Leni." Clyde lifted his index finger up, "I know that scream."

"Me too." Naruto said, "It sound like dad."

"Right." The black boy nodded.

"Dad's afraid of spiders?" Luna snickered with corked eyebrow and both boys confirm it again with single nod before a pest control van pull up swiftly.

"And it looks like he's got the exterminator on speed dial!" Lori gasped in concern.

"Frank!" Most gasped as a bulky exterminator hop out in full gear and the white-haired boy run up to him.

"It's okay, sir." Lincoln waved his arms, "There's been a misunderstanding. You don't need to kill the spider."

"Huh?" The exterminator shoved his face into Lincoln's face with glare, "What are you, a spider hugger? Nobody stops me from getting my spider!" He jogged into the house to find the spider.

"I gotta go save Frank!" Lincoln gulped.

"We can help!" Lynn said through clenched teeth in freeze pose, something that Naruto have been wondering for a while but chose not to question because it must be part of her luck thingy.

"I can help too!" Clyde piped in.

"I'll stall him if he hasn't reached the second floor." Naruto said and the rest of the sisters requested their young brother to let them help.

"Okay." Lincoln nodded, "You guys distract the exterminator while I look for Frank." Everyone immediately head inside.

The exterminator peek under the sofa before he hear a scream for above and the bulky man run toward the staircase, only to brake on his feet when he see Naruto slowly climb the steps with cutch. "Hold on a second, man." Naruto carefully climb the next step, "It'll get a while."

"Let me go this way…" The exterminator attempt to go up on left side but Naruto block him with a subtle sidestep, "I'm…" He tried to move to the right side but the teenager again blocked him, "Oh, come on…" He moved to left, only to be blocked again. "Argh…" He grumbled under his breath, "You're fucking lucky you're injured or I'll shove you aside."

"Did I hear you swearing?" Naruto glanced over his shoulder with disappointing stare, "Dude, there are bunch of little kids and baby!"

"No, I did not." The sweating exterminator lied as they reach the top, "Finally!" He glanced down the hallway, trying to recollect the direction of this scream before he hear another scream at his left side.

"There's a big scary spider in the last room on the right!" Luna hollered behind the said room's door, "I hope someone can exterminate this ugly spider!" The exterminator rushed inside then immediately spray on a creature as soon as he spot it on the floor and laugh evilly, only to flinch when a string pull the spider up.

"What's the matter?" Luan taunted the exterminator as she wiggle her Groucho glasses' eyebrows while wiggling the fake spider with fishing pole, "Afraid of a little rubber spider?"

"I ain't afraid of nothin'." The exterminator defended.

"Excuse me." Lucy said flatly behind the exterminator, causing him to jump up with a bloodcurdling scream, "The scary spider went in there." She pointed at the bathroom door and the bulky man kneel down in front of it then smell under the door before the door swing open to reveal Lori.

"What are you doing, you weirdo?!" Lori snarled.

"O-Oh, well…" The embarrassing exterminator shoots up with his hands up as he stuttered, "I-I-I-I-I-I-I didn't…"

"Did this pervert sniff you while you're on toilet?!" Naruto spoke up.

"N-N-N-N-No, I didn't…" The exterminator shook his head before Clyde appear next to him in a spider costume.

"Roar!" Clyde waved his arms up and down, "I'm a spider. Come and get me!" He was shoved aside onto a wall by the exterminator as he rash to the other end of the hallway, "I'm all right." Before the exterminator know it, he got ensnared by jumping rope then roll into a door with a crash as the twin gave each other high-five while Lily crawl up to the bulky man, shoving her pacifier in his mouth with a giggle.

"Kids." Lisa walked up to the exterminator as soon as he spit pacifier out in disgust, "They can be so juvenile." She take a container out, "Mouthwash?" She pour it into the exterminator and he give it a slosh before chocking on it with teary eyes. "My special ghost pepper formula. The tingle means it's working."

"Frank's not downstairs." Lincoln ran up to the second floor, "So, he must be…" He spot the spider near the bathroom door, so did the exterminator.

"Upstairs." The exterminator said coldly before he swiftly untangle himself, use the same rope to ensnare Lincoln as he tried to save the spider and the bulky man loom over trembling Frank with his spraying machine. "Ha! I've got you now!"

"WAIT! STOP!" Lincoln begged before the exterminator blasts bug killer gas everywhere as the kids gasped, "NOOOOOOOO!" The gas cloud clear up to reveal someone in hazmat suit, "Huh?"

"Wha?!" The exterminator blinked and the person takes the helmet off, revealing to be Leni and she was holding the very alive spider in her hand.

"FRANK!" The white-haired boy's eyes lit up in pure joy and the sisters cheer.

"Why you…" The exterminator stepped forward threateningly, only to flutter when Leni held her hand up to him.

"Hold it right there, mister!" Leni said, "If you exterminate this spider, you'll exterminate…" She pointed at Lincoln, "This boy's future! Everyone will think he's a spider killer and no one will ever trust him again! Do you really want that on your conscience?"

"Wow." The exterminator looked remorseful, "I never thought of it that way. Lady, you just changed my life."

"Really?" Both Leni and Lincoln said.

"OF COURSE NOT, YOU SPIDER HUGGERS!" The exterminator snarled, "Exterminator out! Here's my bill!" He sticks the bill on Clyde's face as he leaves the house.

"Leni!" Lincoln ran up to the said sister, "That was amazing! But why?"

"I heard what you said at the funeral." The smiling ditzy sister gazed at Frank in her hands, "And besides, maybe spiders aren't so bad after all. I mean, this one's kinda cute…" The creature blinks before Leni shove the creature into Lincoln's hands, "No, it's not! TAKE IT! TAKE IT!" She raced into her room with cries, "Ew, ew, ew, ew! It blinked at me!"

"Let's get you back in your cage, Frank." The white-haired boy smiled at the creature, rubbing its back with his index finger.

"I always thought Frank was a strange name for a female spider." Lisa adjusted her glasses, causing the group to look at her.

"Frank's a girl?" Lincoln blinked.

"Mm-hmm." The genius nodded, "I can tell from the markings. Plus, female spiders always get sluggish before they give birth."

"Frank's gonna be a mommy?" Clyde gasped excitingly.

"Aww…" The sisters cooed.

"Wait, where's the eggs?" Naruto pointed out and everyone paused for a moment.

"Um, maybe they're in the cage?" Lincoln guessed sheepishly.

"…Boy, I hope dad don't have a heart attack when the eggs hatch." The blonde teenager boy muttered to himself.

Next morning, the Loud children were getting ready for their schools and Jackie's car pull up as Naruto walk toward the vehicle. "Yo, sup?" Jackie popped right front door open with a small yawn before she notice Lincoln talking to purple spider in cage, "You guys get another pet?"

"Nah, it's Lincoln's classroom's pet." Naruto answered, "Yesterday, he have to look after it for his class' project. Responsibility, I think."

"Ah, I see…" Jackie hummed and they hear Leni's bloodcurdling scream before the ditzy teenager ran out with flailing arms as Frank's babies scurry all over her body and flinging into air. "You ready to go?" She said, not even batting a eyelash at the scene of Leni running around in circle while the siblings try their best to calm her down to help her.

"Hold on, give me a sec…" Naruto stick his head out the window, "Hey, need me?"

"No, go ahead." Lori hollered over her shoulder as she grabbed her screaming sister's shoulders, "I got her!"

"GET THE SPIDER BABIES OFF ME!" Leni screeched.

"Yeah, yeah, let's take you to shower." The elder sister pushes her inside.

"Okay, ready." The blonde boy put his seatbelt on.

"I guess yesterday was pretty chaotic, eh?" Jackie corked her eyebrow nonchalantly, pressing the gas pedal down.

"Yup." Naruto nodded, "An exterminator was involved."

"Why am I not surprised?" The skater snorted amusedly and her best friend let a light chuckle out once.

"See you later." Naruto waved at his best friend few hours later as she leave and he wobble up to the front door before he notice a small brown package sitting on window sill. He pick it up then check the label as he walk in, "…Lincoln, there's a package for you!" Naruto called out and he hear a thud, following by rapid footsteps before his little brother slide down the stair rail, grabbing the package happily.

"Ah, Noise-B-Gone 2000!" Lincoln grinned widely before he ran back, "Thank, Naruto!"

"Um, you're welcome?" The blonde teenager raised his eyebrow confusingly before he shrugs it off and walks into the living room to do some of his homework. Few hours later, he finished his homework and lean back in his seat as he watches rerun of Hawaii Five-O show, "Jeez, I should come up with some plans with guys…" He's falling into a boring routine because of these damn casts and he still has a lot of time off from his part-time job.

"Ooh, Hawaii Five-O!" Lynn suddenly jumped over the headrest onto right cushion next to her older brother, "What season do you think it is?"

"Either third or fourth, I think." Naruto replied, knowing her love for anything that involves action.

"Good, I honestly don't like the current season after those two actors leave." The tomboy huffed before she look up to him, "Oh, hey, did you know Lincoln have been tuning us out all day with his noise-cancelling buds?"

"I kinda figure it out when he said 'Noise-B-Gone' but I don't know what he was going to use it for." The blonde replied with a small shrug.

"Well, now you know." Lynn said, "Anyway, we are getting back at him by pretending that Lola ask him for something to make him sweat. So just play along, you hear?"

"I hear you, lil sis." He messed her hair up with chuckle and they watch the episode, commenting on some action scene. A familiar voice shouts out as soon as the show ended.

"LINCOLN!" Lola's voice echoed.

"And that's my cue." The tomboy jumped up then jogging as she skip few steps on the way up, silently wishing that the cue will take place way later. Few minutes, she drag her confusing little brother to the backyard and Naruto take one glance at the duo before he shake his head to himself.

"I hope she don't break his bones." Naruto muttered, assuming that his tomboyish sister will use some fighting technique on their little brother…And few familiar noises from outside prove him correct. It really doesn't take long enough until Lincoln stumble back inside with few winces, approaching his older brother.

"Um, Naruto, can I ask you something?" Lincoln winced at new-forming bruises.

"Shoot, lil bro." He turned to him.

"Um, w-what will Lola do if…" The white-haired boy scratched his head nervously, "I forget what I promise her? See, I was supposed to do something at six but it kinda slip from my mind."

"Well, it depends on how major it is." Naruto hummed thoughtfully, "If it's small stuff then you may lose few things that you love like your stuffing animal…"

"B-Bun-Bun?!" Lincoln's eyes widened in horror.

"But if it's huge…" He paused, "Well, you better write your will and pray."

"I-I-I-I-I…" The widened-eyed young boy stuttered before Leni enter the room with wide smile.

"Lincoln, come on!" She grabbed the said boy's arm then drag him away bouncily, "I need you."

"F-For what?" Lincoln asked.

"Don't be a dope." Leni smiled, "We talked about this, like, few hours ago."

'Boy, I almost feel bad for lil bro.' Naruto shake his head slightly as he watches his sisters pranking the young boy for blocking them out with his noise-cancelling buds.

The clock ticking closer to six as the bored blonde teenager tap a random app on his smartphone and all of sudden, he hear Lola's bellowing voice. "LINCOLN!" Lola stomped up the steps, "IT'S SIX O'CLOCK! YOU'VE FAILED ME!" He hear a door slammed open, "YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE LOLA MAD?!"

"Ooh, A Quiet Place." Naurto rented the said movie on his smartphone then put his earbuds on as the movie start. He barely hear some screams, following by deafening explosion's soundwave and some thuds. Naruto remove his right earbud with few blinks, "What was that?"

"NOW I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING!" Lincoln's voice cried out loudly, following by the voices of their sisters.

"RELAX, EVERYONE, YOUR HEARING WILL RECOVERING IN FEW HOURS!" Lisa's voice shouted.

"WHAT?" Lana's voice shouted confusingly.

"…" Naruto stared up at the staircase for few moments before he put the earbad back in with a shrug, "Guess we're gonna live it up to our surname." He paused, unsure if he have say it before or not before he shrug again, focusing on his movie.

Friday night, the Loud siblings, minus Lincoln and Luna, were watching an Disney movie and eating large bowl of popcorns. They hear a quiet click within the front door, following by opening before they turn to see Lincoln, in SMOOCH costume, and Luna step through the doorway as they chat happily about the concert. The sisters let out an shocking gasp at Luna's appearance before they quickly grab Lincoln, dragging the poor confusing boy up to his room to interrogating him if the rocker have ruined another concert. "Um, okay…" Luna stared at the stair questioningly before she brush it off as she head to the sofa, "Gimme some popcorns."

"Here." Naruto handed the bowl over to her with one hand.

"Lu-Lu!" Lily grabs at the empty air in Luna's direction with a giggle, having been sitting on Naruto's laps the whole time.

"Glad to see you too, baby sis." Luna pat her baby sister's head, receive another giggle from the said girl. "So what are we watching?" She tossed few popcorns into her mouth.

"Tangled." He answered, "But it's on pause until everyone get back. How was the concert?"

"Awesome, I even made it the best first concert for lil dude." Luna grinned widely, "And he totally digs it."

"That's great." Naruto chuckled lightly, "Sound like you two have a blast and didn't do anything crazy like jumping on little kids…"

"That was one time!" The blushing rocker swatted his arm lightly, "One time!"

"Luna, you had four body-surfing incidents, involving kids." Naruto gave her a deadpan stare, "Four."

"Shut up, Naruto!" Luna covered her embarrassing face from him but a tiny smile can be seen behind her hands as her brother chuckle again. "When will you take the casts off?" She asked, trying to change the topic.

"I dunno, maybe next week or two." The blonde teenager muttered, "Dad is taking me to the hospital next week for a check-up so we'll see."

"Does it usually take three weeks for something like that?" The rocker hummed, "Dozens of hairline fractures, right?"

"Yeah." Naruto nodded to both parts.

"What's the first thing you're gonna do after remove them?" Luna asked.

"Oh, take a looooooong shower. That's for sure." He grimaced, "I'm very certain that it'll reek big time, consider how long they have been gone unwashed for. Remember Lynn had to wear leg cast for six weeks after one of her soccer games?"

"…Ew!" The green-faced rocker gagged, recalling how bad it smells like when the tomboy returned from the hospital. "I almost throw up each time I smell fish…Hell, I still barely stomach it today! You better go straight to the bathroom with a lot of tomato juice!"

"Does tomato juice really help with that?" Naruto raised his eyebrow curiously.

"Dunno, but if it can help with skunk smell then it might." Luna shrugged.

"Um, isn't that an old wive's tale?" He muttered.

"That so?" The rocker blinked once, "Ah, then I guess I have to google for something to help you out with this smell."

"Thank, Luna." Naruto smirked, glancing down at Lily as she plays with his fingers with few giggles. Luna stare at him playing with their baby sister in silence before she surprise him with a peck to cheek and he glance at her slightly puzzlingly. "What was that for?" He asked out of curiosity, he don't mind receiving some form of affections from his siblings but it was out of blue.

"For being my favorite person." Luna replied with a light smirk.

"Ah." Naruto chuckled lightly as he pecked the rocker's cheek, "Thank, sis."

'Ugh, it would be perfect if he didn't add 'sis' in the end.' The rocker groaned mentally before Lily outstretch her arms at them to catch their attention.

"Na-Na, Lu-Lu, kissy kissy!" Lily pouted.

"Don't worry, Lily, you get one too." Naruto kissed his baby sister's cheek lightly and Luna roll her eyes playfully before she peck Lily's other cheek, making the baby squeal happily with claps.

"Naruto, hit play." Luan called out as the sisters follow her down to the living room and they take their seats as their brother press play button on the remote, resume watching the movie.

"…Say, isn't tomorrow the chore day?" Lana perked up with a wondering expression and almost all sisters groan at the reminder.

Saturday afternoon, Lincoln toss some trashes into a large black trash bag before he look at a random wall. "It's Chore Day at the Loud House, and taking out the trash is my job." He said as Naruto peek over the headrest with a raised eyebrow before he sit back down with a headshake, "And in a family as big as mine, chores can be pretty intense. But we get through 'em because we all do our fair share." The young boy grinned before he glance at his big brother on sofa, "Well, beside Naruto, since he have casts."

"Thank for the reminder, Lincoln." Naruto grumbled under his breath as his little brother went upstairs to the bathroom, "Stupid casts, stupid itches…" He really can't wait to take them off as soon as the doctor gives him an okay signal. His pocket vibrate several times before the blonde answer his phone to see a text from Jackie.

"I'm bored." It read, "What are you and Loud clan up to?"

"You know I'm still sticking on sofa." Naruto texted back with a light eyeroll, "And it's chore day."

"Bah, chore day? That sound like it bite! At least you get out of it."

"Actually, I rather to do some chores than sitting here all day." He replied.

"Wow, it's really boring on sofa, eh? I would say play some games but I just remember you can't use controller with one hand until it's app games. Have you try renting some movies?"

"I haven't find any interesting app games in stores. However, I do find some interesting movies but I can't watch them when lil bro and lil sisters are up." Naruto send the messages, the movies that he want to watch are pretty violent and R-rated, something that he can't watch during the daytime. He doesn't want to give his little siblings nightmares…For now.

"Who are you texting to?" Luna asked loudly over the vacuum noise, cleaning the living room carpet. "Chaz? Tad? Joey?"

"Nah, Jackie." Naruto answered while texting and the rocker frown for a moment before Lincoln suddenly unplug the vacuum.

"Dude, what gives?" The rocker turned to her little brother with a confusing frown.

"Alright, everyone!" Lincoln clapped his hands loudly, causing the rest of his sisters to enter the living room with different expressions. "It has come to my attention that I've gotten a raw deal in this house!"

"You mean your white hair?" Leni tilted her head with a blink before a grin appear on her face, "It's nice. It makes you look like Pop-Pop."

"I'm not talking about our grandfather." Lincoln facepalmed with deadpan look, "I'm talking about my chore! It's way harder than all of yours, and it's not fair!"

"Please." Lori crossed her arms with a scoff, "Our chores are just as hard as yours, if not harder."

"Oh, really?" Lincoln pointed at Lisa, whom was sitting at low table. "Look at Lisa! What does she even do?"

"Uh, hold on, Janice." Lisa covered her phone as she turns to her white-haired brother, "I do the bills, Lincoln." She turn back to her phone, "Now, listen, I want that charge removed, Janice. I don't think anyone in this house bought a car in Saskatchewan."

The young boy stare owlishly at his genius sister for few moments before he turn back to the group, "…Well, if you all think your chores are so hard, I'm sure one of you won't mind trading with me."

"No way, Lincoln." The elder sister held her hand up at him, "There's a very delicate balance in this house, and if we all start trading chores, it will literally open up a can of worms."

"What's so bad about that?" Lana stick her head up, "Worms rules!"

"Okay then…" Lincoln took a deep breath before he lift a large sign with red 'No' symbol up from nowhere then jump onto a overturned trash can, "One, two, three, four! I won't do your stupid chore!"

"Where did that come from?" Naruto stared at the picket sign oddly, he swear he don't see that sitting behind Lincoln until now and his question will go unanswered as the elder blonde speak again.

"What the heck are you doing?" Lori stared at their little brother oddly with hands on her hip.

"I'm on strike until someone agrees to trade chores with me." The white-haired boy chanted, "Five, six, seven, eight! Garbage Day will have to wait!"

"What am I supposed to do with all this poop?" Lana held up several sacks.

"Nine, ten, eleven, twelve!" Lincoln kept chanted, "Take that poop out by yourself!"

"Ugh!" Lori groaned annoyingly, "Will you stop talking in chants?"

"Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen!" Lincoln ignored his oldest sister until he pause, "Uh…What rhymes with sixteen?"

"…" Naruto glanced over his shoulders to see his parents standing in front of their room, "Are you guys going to do something about it?"

"No, not yet." Rita waved it off, "I wanna see what he rhymes with sixteen. Also, maybe we should let your sisters and brother handle this themselves. They might learn something."

"If you say so." Naruto scratched his head.

"Good idea." Lynn Sr. nodded before he lift an jigsaw puzzle box, "In that case, it's time for ol' Jigsaw Loud to get back in the puzzle game!"

"Didn't we agree to never use that name again?" Rita chuckled at her husband.

"We're all going on strike until you agree to end yours!" Lana held up the picket sign with her sisters as they glared at their young brother. Amazingly, it just took three hours for the house to become so messy.

"That means no laundry, no clean dishes, no vacuuming…" Lori said.

"Wait, you guys barely start your chores?" Naruto looked up from his book to his sister oddly, "…Also, I gotta ask, did some of you guys dump some trashes in here while I wasn't looking?"

"No." Lana quickly reply with shifty eyes.

"…And no doing the bills." Lisa spoke into her phone, "Janice, cut the power and the water. We're going off the grid."

"Well, good luck!" Lincoln scoffed, "'Cause I'm not backing down!"

"NEITHER ARE WE!" The sisters shouted before everyone chant loudly.

"Now should we intervene?" Lynn Sr. asked his wife.

"Oh, no." Rita shook her head, "Let's give the kids a little more time to resolve this on their own."

"Sweet!" The father grinned widely with pumping arms, "Who's up for round two? Jiggy Loud's about to do a pizzy up in this bizzy!"

"Uh-uh." The mother picked Lily up off the dirty floor before she turn to her oldest son, "Naruto, maybe it'll be better if you stay over at your friend's house for couple nights because I think it won't be resolve in a day. I'll call you once it's over."

"Okay, mom." Naruto nodded, "Let me ask Jackie if it's cool." The response comes swiftly, "She said her family's cool with it. She'll pick me up in twenty."

"I'll get some clothes for you, you know where the emergency sleepover gear is." Lynn Sr. head upstairs, "Then it's piz-piz time!"

"How long do you think it'll take until dad figure out that Jiggy is not a good nickname for him?" The blonde boy chuckle.

"Oh, he'd never figure it out." Rita chuckled.

"So the fight is about chores this time, huh?" Jackie snicker, tossing few cushions on the living room's floor for Naruto then sit down at low table with plates, containing of steaks and French fries. "Who started it first?"

"Lincoln, he think everyone got easy chores." Naruto placed his leg cast on one of the cushion before he eat piece of his steak, "The girls decide to go on strike to get back at him and few of them make a big mess on purpose."

"Lana, I bet." The skater snorted, receiving a nod from the chuckling boy. "Why can't they just trade him their chores for a day so he can learn it the hard way then demand to swap back?"

"You know us Loud, we can be pretty stubborn." He shrugged, "But either way, Lincoln will learn a lesson out of that, along with the girls."

"Yeah." Jackie ate some fries, "…Hey, what's your usual chore?"

"I dust and clean out the bath drain." Naruto answered, "I'm pretty little taller enough to reach some unreachable space and not very squeamish enough to get my hand dirty in drain."

"Ew, keep your hand away from me." She flicked a single fry at him with playful tone, pretending to gag.

"Hey, I wash after." He bat the flying food away with his arm cast as he rolled his eyes with a light chuckle, "Also, I always use latex glove while cleaning."

"Good." Jackie chuckled, "I'd hate to have to kick you out for having stinky hand."

"Pfft, you won't do that because you love me." Naruto snorted goodheartedly.

"True, I won't." She chuckled again and they eat the rest of their dinner before she bring the empty plates to the kitchen's sink then back to the table. "Oh." She picked the remote up, "Hey, don't you say you found some interesting movies to watch on demand?"

"Is it okay to rent the movies on demand?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah, my folks give me the okay before they went out for their date night." Jackie replied.

"Awesome, look for Raid Redemption or John Wick Two." Naruto grinned.

"Oh, I heard a lot of good things about Raid Redemption movie." She searched for the titles, "Isn't it out few years ago?"

"Yea, I think they bring it back on demand because I saw some 'on-demand movies' commercials and it was among the previews." He said.

"Ah…Found it." Jackie located the Raid movie, "This one first or John Wick?" Her best friend selects the former and she rent it, playing it right away.

"Damn, that's good thing we're not watching this at your place." Jackie whistled as soon as the credit rolling, "We are not gonna let little Louds watch that."

"Yea, we will not mention this movie in their presence." Naruto can't help but agreed with his best friend, this movie was more violent than he expected. "Knowing Lincoln, he will watch it behind our back and get another nightmare like The Harvester."

"Oh, totally." She leaned back against the couch's headrest, "But it was pretty good, don't you agree?"

"Yea, a lot of actions and epic fighting scenes." He grinned, "Just the way I like my movies. What's your favorite part?"

"Oh, when he tackle this machete-wielding leader through the window, plummeting down few floors onto fire escape!" Jackie grinned widely as she swoop her arm downward, "You?"

"Oooh, that's tough." Naruto groaned, "I totally like everything, let me think…" He ponders on it for a while before he snap his fingers, "Oh! Both fighting part with the mad dog! It's way…"

"Awesome." She finished his sentence with a light chuckle, picking the remote up. "Wanna watch John Wick two now or…?"

"Later, let's check what's on television." He rotated his neck around with few pops and Jackie search through several channels until she find a show she like, a classic Tom and Jerry cartoons.

"Alright!" Jackie toss the remote onto the table with a smirk as she kick her legs up on table while the screen show the title card, "About time they show my favorite episode!"

"Wow, it's been a long time since I watched Yankee Doodle Mouse." Naruto said and they sit in silence, enjoying the old cartoons.

"Can I ask you something?" She asked.

"Shoot." He replied.

"Why do you keep turning the girls down?" Jackie glanced at him, "Seven to be exact." He open his mouth to say something, "And don't bring up Reggie excuse, it have been few months and I totally know you have moved on…" She turned to him, "Or haven't you?"

"I moved on, really." Naruto scratched his head, "Um, it's…Kinda complicated."

"Try me." She plopped her chin on her fist, elbow on her knee.

"…Well…" He muttered, "I…Um, I don't want them to feel like I'm using them for rebounding, I mean, what if our relationship is short-lived like my last one and I end up breaking her heart or other way around…At same time, I'm kinda scared. What if I mess up or make another mistake? I rushed into a relationship with Reggie within two weeks after met each other, not to mention that we barely know each other…I don't want to go through that again…You know?" The blonde have hard time to explain everything in words but he hope she understand him.

"Ah, is that so?" Jackie hummed before she nod understandingly, "I get it, man." They sit in silence for few minutes until she speak, "You know…Have you think about a opening relationship?"

"A what?" Naruto blinked confusingly, a faint blush appears on his cheeks.

"An open relationship, you know." The skater said, "Where you can have a casual date with girls without getting in a relationship, kinda like Archie from Archie comic. I mean, he's seeing Betty and Veronica a lot while dating many different girls at same time. "

"But I don't want to be a player, my sisters will kill me if they find out that I'm a womanizer." He shivered at his sisters' wrath.

"No, no, I'm not telling you to play around with girls." Jackie snorted amusedly, "I'm saying you should go out on one or more date with any girls that ask you out…If you wanna, you can be honest and tell them what to expect. You can say, like, 'I'll go out with you on a date and see how it goes but I'm not looking for a relationship until I'm ready. Also, I'm seeing some people and I understand if you're not comfortable with that.' Or something like that."

"Oh." Naruto tilted his head with few blinks, "That…That don't like a bad idea if you put it that way…But I think I need to sleep on it for now."

"Sure, as long as you're thinking about it seriously." She nodded.

"…Thank." He muttered after few minutes of silence, "I mean, for listening and give me some suggestions."

"Anytime, you're my best friend." Jackie shrugged her shoulders lightly with a grin, "You'll do the same thing for me…Minus the open relationship idea, that's my idea." That earns a small chuckle from him. They sit back and watch the show then John Wick chapter two for the rest of the night.

"You gotta be joking me." Naruto deadpanned as he talk to his mom on phone the next day, "You gotta be joking me."

"I joke you not." Rita's voice spoke, "You should check the video I send you. Anyway, since it's pretty late, you can stay over for tonight then come home after school. Love you."

"Okay, love you too." He hang up then open the video file in his smartphone and Jackie lean backward in her chair, looking into the living room.

"What's up?" She asked, wondering why her friend has this deadpan expression on his face.

"Good news, they resolved their chore issue but it'll take a while for them to clean the whole house completely so I'm going home tomorrow." Naruto said with monotonous tone as he play a video, "Bad news… Apparently, one of Lisa's experiments somehow bring a heap of trash to live and is sentient so they have to figure out what to do with…Um…This thing."

"…What?" Jackie blinked weirdly, "You're bullshitting me, right?"

"I bullshit you not." Naruto held his phone out to her, showing a living trash heap moving around with its meaty arms. "I bullshit you not."

"…Dude, that is now one of the most fucking weird shits I have ever seen in my life so far…" She can't help but to point at the video with widened eyes and slightly gaping mouth, "You sure it's not Luan's prank? I mean, she can do a little of CGI with her video program…"

"I'm very sure it's not Luan because she's not this skillful…" He looked at the video again before he deleted it, "…Let's never mention this again?"

"Let's." Jackie nodded with dazed expression, "…Wanna watch bunch of bad movies to kill our brain cells and forget this…This…Thing."

"Yes, please."

Two days later, Naruto lie on the sofa as he watch a random show and he can hear Lincoln's voice outside, thank to the little boy's megaphone. "Excellent! Keep it up!"

'What is he up to this time?' Naruto wonder to himself and before he know it, Lana run inside with Hops, tracking mud in.

"Blah, blah, blah, blah!" Lana called out before she close the door behind her.

"Lana, what's going on?" He called out to his little sister curiously.

"Lincoln's just overreacting because I almost splash some mud on Lola's dress." Lana scoffed with a eyeroll, "Something about steaming and chiffon." She shrugged, "Also, he was helping Lola with her pageant thingy."

"…Um, that's kinda odd for Lincoln to be interest in something like that." Naruto raised his eyebrow.

"Yeah, but don't ask me because I don't know why." The young tomboy scratched her hat uncaringly before they both hear a startled shout.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" Lincoln's voice shouted, following by a crash and a loud yelp.

"What was that?" Naruto asked worriedly as the parents raced outside.

Lola sit next to Naruto with crossed arms and deep scowl as they sit on the sofa before Naruto pat her head. "Guess we're cast-mate now." The blonde teenager chuckled.

"Cast-mate?" Luan's voice hollered from second floor with a roaring laughter, "Good one, Naruto!"

"Ugh!" Lola groaned at her older siblings' joke, it turn out she fall down and receive a strain bad enough to warrant a leg cast. "I can't believe I'm skipping one pageant because of this stupid…" She grumble under her breath and Naruto swear that he hear few swears but he wasn't sure before he spot his little brother enter the living room.

"Okay, minor setback." Lincoln held his hands up with nods, "We can still win this thing."

"Wake up and smell the hairspray, Lincoln." Lola's eyebrow twitched annoyingly, "It's over!"

"You can't just quit!" Lincoln gasped with widened eyes, "We worked hard on this!"

"There will be other pageants, you know." The princess wannabe blow her hair up while their older brother stare at Lincoln oddly.

"But not with Dairyland tickets." The white-haired boy said forlornly.

"Oh, that makes sense now." Naruto turned back to the television with a light headshake and eyeroll.

"Lincoln, I need some rest." Lola pointed her index finger at the doorway past Lincoln's shoulders, "As your pal, Gil DeLily would say, I can't recover if you're going to hover."

"…I-I can't believe it…" Lincoln trudged outside with a mutter.

"Who's Gil DeLily?" Naruto looked down to his little sister, "Lincoln's new friend or…?"

"I don't know, some author that Lincoln was reading." The princess wannabe scoffed again, "What's on television?"

"Some cartoon that I never seen before." He shrugged, "I never caught the title name…"

"Why don't you look it up on guide?" She asked.

"Too bored and lazy to pick the remote up." Naruto chuckled lightly, causing Lola to roll her eyes.

"HALLELUJAH!" Lincoln's voice suddenly sings out, making both siblings to look at the front door oddly.

"…Did you or Luan make him drink something weird?" Lola asked her brother.

"No, I don't…" Naruto stared oddly.

"HALLELUJAH!" Lincoln's voice sing again, but this time they can hear Lana's voice.

"…And I'm very concerning." He muttered, barely notice Lola bob her head in agreement. Lincoln quickly ran in and up the stairs then he ran back down with a familiar object in his hand.

"Hey, what are you doing with that?!" Lola shouted out at her white-haired brother with narrowed eyes, spotting one of her dresses in his hands.

"O-Oh, this?" Lincoln glanced between the dress in his hand and Lola, "Just, uh…Getting it dry cleaned. You keep healing, sunshine!" He ran outside without giving Lola any chance to respond. The princess wannabe stare at the empty spot with suspicious stare before her head turn up to her brother.

"Yeah, I also think he's up to something." Naruto muttered and he has some good guesses it involves the tickets as his little brother run back and forth with few things, hiding them poorly from their sister.

The next day, Lynn Sr. was fiddling around with the television's remote as he mumbles something dejectedly under his breath while his children, Naruto and Lola, were enjoying their fresh-baked cookies. "Thanks for getting me the Princess Channel, daddy!" Lola smiled sweetly at her father's back.

"No problem, sweetie." Lynn Sr. said, "It was either that or the sports channel…" He laughed sadly, "And who needs that, huh?" He quietly walks away with slumped shoulders.

"We had many sport channels anyway." Naruto said but his father didn't hear him and the blonde teenager shrug his shoulders as the pageant starts.

"Welcome to the Little Miss Prim and Perfect Pageant!" The host grinned widely as Naruto mumble something under his breath about long title, "I'm your host, Donnie Dufresne. Let's meet American's junior sweethearts. Hailing from Royal Woods, Miss Lola Loud!" A similar girl in pink dress waved with professional grin and Lola spit her milk out.

"What is going on?!" Lola screeched angrily, mixed with shock.

"Isn't this Lana?" Naruto blinked puzzlingly.

"I'd like to thank my coach and brother, Lincoln!" Lana gestured to the said brother on the screen as he wave to her and camera.

"Figures." The blonde teenager facepalmed.

"LINCOLN!" Lola roared furiously, "I should have known!"

"And I just want to say it is great to be here!" Lana belched, "Sorry, you were downwind of that, Donnie." She nudged the blinking host's arm with a smirk.

"THEY'RE RUINING ME!" Lola roared again before she get off the sofa then limp away, "AND THEY WILL PAY!"

"Lola, where are you going?" Naruto called out to his limping sister.

"WHERE DO YOU THINK I'M GOING?!" Lola snarled back, swinging front door open with a slam.

"How will you get there with this cast?" He asked.

"…MOMMY, I NEED YOU TO DRIVE ME!" The princess wannabe shouted, "I'M GONNA KILL LINCOLN AND LANA ONCE I GET THERE!"

"Oh, now what?" Rita walked out of her room with van's key and deadpan expression, following one of her young daughters outside. "What did they do this time?"

"…" Naruto glance back at the show before his father run back to the television.

"WOO!" Lynn Sr. picked the remote up to change the channel order, "Sports Channel, here I come…"

"No, no, I want to see how it turns out." The blonde teenager waved his hand at him, his eyes glued to the screen.

"OH COME ON!" The father threw his hands up then trudge away, "My sport channel…"

"You have, like, over fifty sports channel." Naruto muttered. He watch Lana performing in her evening gown then fixing a loose floorboard, resuming her perform after finished. The interview comes up and the host walks next to Lana.

"Lola, what can six-year-olds do to eliminate the nation debt?" Donnie asked.

"Um…" Lana seems like she was about to scratch something before folding her hands together, "Plenty, Donnie. Just because we're six doesn't mean we can't make a difference." The audience applauded before Hops hop out of Lana's dress, jumping all over on the judges' desk. "OH! HOPS!" Lana lunge over the desk, attempting to fetch her pet frog, not caring about the fact that she was making some ruckus.

"I can't believe I'm enjoying it." Naruto chuckled at the show before he spots Lola stomping down the hall toward the backstage, "RIP, Lincoln and Lana." He watch Lana walks out to perform her act, which contains croaking frog, jam, farting noise and scratching butt.

"Did I hear someone mentioning RIP?" Lucy suddenly appears at right arm side of the sofa, "If so, I wish to offer my services for a funeral."

"Yes and it's two funerals." The blonde teenager chuckled as he pat empty spot next to him and Lucy sit down. "Lana is impersonating Lola with Lincoln's help so Lola is gonna maim them…Not too much, I hope."

"Ah." The goth sister gazed at the show as Lana skip off with a cheery wave, "I do not think we have enough money to afford two funerals but I can make it work..."

"And the winner is Lola Loud!" The host placed a tiara on Lana's head then hand her a large trophy.

"Wow, would you look at that?" Naruto blinked at the surprise result, "Funny, I thought it was all about prim but I was wrong…At least Lola won't do anything bad to them now since Lana won it."

"Sigh." Lucy uttered, receiving a small chuckle from her older brother.

"WE'RE GOING TO DAIRYLAND!" Lincoln and Lana's voices cheered together loudly behind the curtains.

"Is it over?" Lynn Sr. poked his head in, "Can I please order my sports channel?"

"Yes, it's over." Naruto can't help but to roll his eyes at his father.

"WOOOO!" The grinning father quickly changed the channel order.

"Didn't we have over fifty sports channel?" Lucy asked her brother.

"Guess it's not enough for both Lynns." The blonde teenager muttered and the goth girl nod slightly.

And that end the eleventh chapter of NL! Love it? Hate it?

Yet another week on sofa but at least he can move around a little! We can see that Naruto is getting really annoying with his casts and he really can't wait for the checkup so he can take them off as soon as the doctor give him a ok. So far we have seen few episodes and some little moments while he's still stuck on the sofa…And staying over at Jackie's house.

What's next for Naruto? Will he get the damn casts off? Will Naruto take Jackie's suggestion and try to go back to the dating scene? What else will we see in the next chapter? Let's find out next time!

Anyway, I think that's all I can say for now. Thank you for reading it.

Please leave reviews and feedback here. The flames will be send to Loud's boiler.
