AN: For those who are just tuning in, I went ahead and made some edits to the end of Chapter 11 so be sure to read that otherwise you'll be completely lost on what's happening. Now without further ado, here's a new update.

(Insert Opening Theme: Rockman EXE Axess)

An area of black and purple lines rush forward and introduce The Strawhats, Ben, Gwen, Kevin, Julie, Rook, and Tetrax. The One Piece logo comes up, and a light flashes now showing the logo rushing over an ocean before disappearing. An island appears and the screen turns upside-down before showing Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper all running.

Hajimari wo tsugeru kane no koe Toki ga kawari kinou uchikeshi narihibiku yo

Luffy jumps up and stretches his arm, punching his fist into the ground ready for a fight. Crocodile comes in and brandishes his hook, followed by the members of Baroque Works who pop up behind him. Usopp freaks out and turns away worried, Luffy and the rest of the Strawhats sigh.

The screen then shifts to see Ben activating the Omnitrix before transforming into a variety of aliens which include Heatblast, Humungousaur, Diamondhead, NRG, Rath, and Feedback. Gwen and Kevin are both standing on a ledge above watching Ben. Gwen looks at the screen as her eyes glow pink and teleports away while Kevin absorbs.

Fukigen na sora mabushii hodo Terashi daseru taiyou ni nareru

The screen changes to show the Foxy Pirates. striking a pose. They're followed by Bellamy and his crew, a dark silhouette of Albedo in his Galvan form pressing a button, Enel and his Priests, and finally to Vilgax wielding a golden gauntlet. He looks at the screen as his eyes glow red.

Kimi to wakachiau kibou to yorokobi

When the light is gone, the scene changes to a field with Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji running, Usopp falling on the ground and rolling, Ben as XLR8 running behind Luffy, Gwen, Kevin, Julie, Rook, and Tetrax behind Ben, Nami and Chopper behind Ben's team, and Usopp trailing behind Chopper.

Kurosu suru Sono tabi fukamaru kizuna Mirai to genzai pazuru wo awasete Kokoro tsunagaru Bokura no yume Akashi ni naru

The scene changes to a barren, burning wasteland, where the heroes face down Vilgax. Usopp freaks out, but the other crew members attempt to stop Vilgax, who easily defeats all of them. Luffy uses his Gum Gum Bazooka technique at Metallix. His attack meets with an Omega Beam from Vilgax and sends Luffy sliding backwards. Luffy skin starts to turn red as steam seems to come off his body. Vilgax and Luffy leap at each other, ready to fight. They collide and an explosion fills the screen.

When the light goes away, the screen shows Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Ben, Gwen, Kevin, Julie, Ship, Rook, and Tetrax on the Going Merry.

The screen flashes and it shows the One Piece logo again before the screen goes black.

From behind the Casino, Gwen, Nami, and Vivi's heads broke the surface, the girls climbed ashore. The next to surface was Kevin, Usopp and Sanji; they were supporting Luffy who was coughing up water. Ben who had transformed into Ripjaws was the next to appear with Rook and Julie. Finally Zoro and Tetrax appeared and hauled Smoker ashore.

Having turned back to normal, Ben stared at the crew; they were all out of breath and gasping for air. Smoker could not believe that Zoro had saved him, he always thought the man was a cold blooded murderer.

The Straw Hats slowly got up and thanked Rook, Tetrax, and Julie for their help. Ben was staring at Smoker the Marine Captain had just noticed that he was here.

"Zoro why did you save Smoker?" Sanji asked.

"Yeah, wasn't this the guy who tried to arrest you all a while back?" Kevin questioned.

Shut up, I didn't want to," Zoro claimed, "That was probably our best and only chance to get rid of him,"

"Everyone, we need to get to Alubarna right away," Vivi said.

"Right," the rest of the crew agreed.

"Count us in too," Tetrax added "Right everyone?"

"Right, there's no way you're leaving us behind," Julie claimed.

"I have no idea what you three are really doing here but I suppose we could use the help," Vivi admitted "Thank you all."

"Roronoa Zoro," Smoker said and thrust his Jutte at Zoro. Zoro managed to block it with his sword; and the Straw Hats got into a defensive stance.

"Why did you save me?" Smoker asked and lowed his weapon.

"I was just following the captain's orders. When the room broke from the pressure Luffy asked me to save you,"

"Straw Hat did? But aren't we enemies?"

"Who knows what goes through that brain of his, I stopped trying to figure it out a long time ago," Zoro finished.

Smoker eyed Luffy and the rest of his friends, his eyes lingered on Ben and his team, he knew that his men would be here any minute…but he owed these pirates his life. And something wasn't right with this country and as much as he hated to admit it the Straw Hats might be the only hope of saving it.

"Go, but next time we meet I will bring you all down," Smoker said.

The Straw Hats took the hint and dashed off down the street, Ben and Zoro stopped when they realized that Luffy wasn't following them.

"You know," Luffy said looking into Smoker's eyes "I don't hate you,"

Smoker stared at the pirate and yelled at him to leave, which Luffy was happy to do so.

A few nearby Marines pointed at the fleeing pirates and raised their riffles to stop them, but Smoker forced them to stand down. Though they were confused, the only one who dared to question him was Tashigi.

"Captain, what was that for?! You let them go..."

"I did what needed to be done," Smoker motioned for her to follow him to his custom vehicle that he had parked near the casino's entrance, he then proceeded to her everything. "Tashigi, do you comprehend on what I just told you?"

"Barely...Crocodile wanted to take over the country and..." Tashigi started before she was cut off.

"Yes, but there's something else," Smoker rubbed his temples. "I might have just witnessed something out of this world and lived to tell the tale."

Tashigi stopped and regarded her superior. "Do you think that Ben Tennyson boy and his allies are dangerous?"

"The one with the green jacket has the capacity to transform into different monsters with some strange device on his wrist, another could absorb seastone without any negative effects, the red haired girl was said to conjure magic, the other three held their own against several full-grown banana gators and didn't even break a sweat, and I know for a fact I heard them use the word 'alien!'" the Marine tried to explain as he mounted his bike. "This is getting out of hand and the brass need to know about it. I'm putting you in charge of apprehending Crocodile."

"What? Me?!" Tashigi gasped. "What do I even do? Where do I go?"

"Follow your sense of Justice," Smoker put on his sunglasses. "And keep your damn Black Den Den Mushi open! There is no telling what kind of information we might get from that shapeshifter. If this isn't a Marine victory, the world is going to be thrown in chaos..."

She thought about the implications of pirates taking the credit for stopping a Shichibukai and reclaiming a country run by the noble Nefertari family. With no doubt left in her mind, she saluted Smoker, who nodded as he rode off.

"Men!" she ordered to her nearby Marines. "We are going to Alubarna!"

The crew did not have to go far before Sanji immediately ran over to Nami, Vivi, and Gwen and started fawning over them much to Kevin's chagrin.

"Nami-san! Vivi-chan! Gwen-chan! My darlings! I missed you so! Are you safe?! Did that shithead hurt you?!"

"Calm down, Sanji!" Nami whacked him in the head. "We have to focus! Crocodile escaped and is after Vivi and her father!"

"He dies!" Sanji declared to the heavens dramatically.

"Who exactly is that?" Rook whispered to Kevin. "I am still trying to figure these things out."

"He's a jerk, which says a lot coming from me," Kevin said indifferently.

Rook merely nodded and shifted slightly away from his friend and poked Usopp on the shoulder. "Who is he?"

"Our perverted cook," Usopp sighed. "It sounds worse than it is."

"...I am so confused right now," Rook whispered to himself.

Sanji then froze as he saw Julie now out of her armor, with Ship having now shifted into a backpack. His jaw dropped and he immediately grabbed Julie's arm, who tried to back away.

"Um...can I help you?" Julie asked, a bit taken aback at Sanji's display.

"No, but I can help you, my dear. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sanji: the greatest chef and lover on the Grand Line. May I just say that you look positively radiant my lady!" He went to kiss her hand, but Julie held her hand up.

"While I am flattered sir, I already have a boyfriend," Julie responded.

"What?! But who?!" Sanji cried out as he then felt a giant hand grab onto his head.

"That would be me, bub," The voice of Humungousaur growled as he lifted Sanji up to his eye level, finally having enough of his constant flirting, "And if you know what's good for you lover boy, you'd stay away from my girl and cousin."

Four Arms dropped the chef on his butt as he started crying dramatically about life being unfair while some of the Straw Hats snickered at the display.

The pirates forced their way through the crowds and made it to the edge of Rainbase. All that was left to do was figure out the best way to Alubarna.

"We can't go anywhere without Chopper!" Luffy demanded. "Sanji, Kevin, where did he go?"

"He told me that he and Eyelashes had something to do," Kevin shrugged.

"Who is Eyelashes?" Julie asked.

"A camel we befriended in the desert," Nami explained. "Long story."

"Ah."

"Still, we need to make some distance of we are to get to Alubarna," the navigator sighed. "Crocodile could be anywhere and we would need to make serious speeds to catch up to him."

"I can help with that!" a voice called from the distance.

Moving closer and closer to the group was an incredibly large crab-like creature. It had a perpetual smile and a claw which was larger than the other. On top of it rode a most welcoming sight: Chopper and the aforementioned Eyelashes.

"It's Chopper!" Ben, Luffy, Kevin, and Usopp cried at once.

"What is a 'Chopper?'" Rook asked the crew.

"A talking reindeer-doctor," Vivi whispered. "He's really cute."

"Your doctor...is a talking reindeer?" he asked, amazed. "How fascinating!"

"What about the crab?" Kevin asked. "It looks good to eat."

"Agreed," Sanji and Zoro nodded.

"DON'T!" Chopper screamed. "Scissors is an old friend of Eyelashes! He's willing to take us as far as he can get to Alubarna!"

"Alright!" Luffy jumped for joy. "Come on, everyone; let's get going!"

They all started to board Scissors the crab and, after a peek at Nami, Vivi, and Gwen's desert outfits, they sped toward Alubarna.

"I hope the distraction gives us enough time." Sanji looked back worriedly as the large crustacean began scrambling towards the capital city.

Soon, however, it became apparent that the distraction wasn't enough, as Luffy let out a warning cry as a golden hook flew towards them, a trail of sand following it aiming straight at Vivi. However, Luffy jumped in front of the hook at the last minute, the weapon grasping him instead.

"Luffy!" Vivi cried out.

"Don't worry about me! Just keep going! I will handle this!" the boy cried as he is dragged off.

"Not alone you're not!" Ben shouted as he leapt off the crab too.

"Ben what are you doing?!" Julie asked.

"Making sure that Luffy doesn't get himself killed," Ben responded.

"But-"

"Trust him! Ben's taken down a lot tougher guys than Crocodile!" Kevin assured her.

The other Strawhats stared horrified at Ben and Luffy.

Luffy landed ungracefully on his hand. "Make sure you get her there safely! Get Vivi back home!"

None of the Strawhats liked the order and continued to stare at him.

"Make sure, okay?" Luffy said gently.

Zoro reluctantly turned towards Chopper. "Let's go! From here, start to Alubarna!"

"Right!" Chopper yelled, but there were some tears in his eyes.

Within seconds, they were out of sight.

Crocodile and Miss All Sunday watched the Strawhats leave dispassionately.

Miss All Sunday chuckled. "Run away from us, Princess Vivi."

"Either way, the agents in Alubarna should have completed their orders already," Crocodile said neutrally. "Contact them at once." He then stared down at Luffy and Ben. "I think your games have gone on a little too long, Strawhat Luffy and Ben Tennyson."

Luffy slowly sat up. "You know her. Even though she's weak, she still tries to save everyone."

Crocodile grunted.

"She's always in pain because she can't abandon anything. She even wants the rebellion to end without anyone dying," Luffy said.

"Without anyone dying? There are many stupid pacifists like that," Crocodile scoffed. "Those who do not know the truth of battle."

"Yeah," Luffy agreed as he stood up. "But as long as you're alive, she's going to keep fighting to her last breath. That's why we're stopping you here!"

Crocodile chuckled. "That is more than pathetic. Fools like you are beyond help. You shall be the perfect example. Those who become intimate with others will die because of it. I've left hundreds like you behind me."

"Then that just makes you sound like a total doofus," Ben mocked as Luffy broke out in laughter.

Crocodile shook with anger and bit his cigar in half.

Miss All Sunday, on the other hand, laughed. She had to put a hand to her mouth to keep from laughing harder.

"Did you think that was funny?" Crocodile asked calmly as he side-eyed Robin. It was easy to tell that he was barely controlling his temper. "Maybe I should kill you too. Nico Robin."

"If that how you feel, do as you wish," Robin said dismissively, never losing her smile. "And what ever happened to your promise to never call me that name?" she asked as she walked away from Crocodile.

"Where are you going?" Crocodile demanded.

"I am going to Alubarna," Robin answered without turning around.

"Insufferable woman," Crocodile muttered as reached into his fur coat. He threw something by Luffy's feet. It was a miniature hourglass. "I'll give the both of you three minutes."

Luffy and Ben both glanced down at the hourglass.

"After that, I will not have time to play with you two anymore," Crocodile stated.

"Arrogant jerk," Ben thought as he balled his fists.

"Do you have a problem with that?" he taunted. Crocodile then put his hand on his hook as he waited for a response, his eyes shifting at the sands falling down in the hourglass.

Ben smirked as he stared death in the face. "Not at all, pal."

Ben activated the Omnitrix as he scrolled through the touch screen, after finally selecting what he wanted Ben slapped the Omnitrix dial. In a flash of green light, he was replaced by a tall alien with a turquoise colored crystal body with his lower body, torso, and the top of his head consisting of purple crystal which has black lines and dots over it. The Omnitrix symbol was on his chest.

"DIAMONDHEAD!"

"Wow, you look awesome Ben!" Luffy cheered.

Crocodile widened his eyes a bit before regaining his composure, "So it is true. You can transform into monsters, what an interesting ability. But that won't be enough to grant you victory boy."

"We'll see about that," said Diamondhead as he got into a battle stance, "I won't back down, Crocodile! No matter what, I will fight for Vivi's country!"

With that, Diamondhead fired off a barrage of crystal shards at Crocodile but the Warlord simply dissolved into a cloud of sand as the shards passed right through him.

"Desert Girasole!" Crocodile had summoned a sand dagger and slashed the area where Diamondhead was standing. Unfortunately, what the Petrosapien wasn't counting on was the ground opening up and turning into quicksand below him.

Diamondhead now found himself sinking into the Alabasta sand. Thinking fast, he erected a large crystal platform to appear at his feet. Finding footing on top of his platform, he sprang off of it and rushed towards Crocodile.

"Rushing headfirst, are we? You must know you can't touch me," he sighed.

"Who says I'm trying to touch you?" Diamondhead responded. As he got close enough to Crocodile, he fired a few more shards at the Warlord's feet, encasing his lower half in crystal.

"Impressive trick!" Crocodile said as he turned himself into a sandstorm, breaking free from his confinement. Diamondhead readied himself as the Shichibukai was now on him, eyeing his prey one last time. However, Diamondhead was surprised to hear a familiar and welcomed cry coming from the distance:

"GUM-GUM PISTOL!"

An elastic fist belonging to Monkey D. Luffy came flying out of nowhere and struck Crocodile in the face. Taken back momentarily, Crocodile stumbled backwards. He felt his face and realized that the boy had actually hit him. "Water?"

"Nice of you to finally cut in, Luffy," The Petrosapien grinned.

"Yeah, buddy! Let's take down this Croc Bastard together!" Luffy grinned.

"Wait a minute, how were you able to punch him just now?" Diamondhead questioned.

Before Luffy could answer, a giant wave of sand headed right for the duo. The strawhat captain and the Omnitrix wielder barely had time to dodge as the attack split a rock on its way towards them. The blade left a deep scar in the sand.

"Good eye," Crocodile complimented. "If that had hit you both, you would be saying more than 'ouch'."

"No kidding," Diamondhead mumbled.

Luffy looked down the ravine Crocodile created in shock. "What happened!? The desert split open!"

"Depending on how you use and train the abilities of your Devil Fruit, it becomes an incredible weapon in battle," Crocodile explained. "I am not like those fools who are content with merely possessing the ability alone. You two will regret standing up to me."

"Desert Girasole!" Crocodile yelled as he slammed his right hand into the sand.

"Oh great," Diamondhead groaned, "Not again!"

Luffy stared at him in confusion. But before he knew what happened, he and Diamondhead fell into the desert. A giant hole had literally engulfed them.

Luffy was running in place as he attempted not to be buried alive.

"Never heard of quicksand?" Crocodile mused as he watched Luffy and Diamondhead struggle. "The desert is a convenient coffin. No grave necessary. The sand is being drawn into an underground river. Using my ability, I am able to determine its exact location. Fighting on the desert, no one in this world can hope to match me."

Thinking fast, Diamondhead slapped the dial and transformed once more, "WATER HAZARD!" The Orishan sprayed jets of water from his palms that instantly turned the sand into mud, allowing him to get out.

"This damn sand won't be enough to bury me alive!" Luffy yelled as he ran his way back up. "Gum Gum Bazooka!" he screamed as he propelled himself out of the quicksand. "Gum Gum Whip!"

He split Crocodile in half, but it was futile.

"It's useless," Crocodile said in a bored voice.

He suddenly grabbed Luffy's arm with his power and pulled the rubberman towards him.

"Let me go, bastard!" Luffy yelled as he attempted to free himself.

"Barchan!" Crocodile exclaimed as he slashed at Luffy's arm. Luffy jumped away from him, but he landed hard on his back.

Luffy suddenly started to scream and quiver in agony as he grabbed his right arm. "My arm!"

His right arm up to his elbow was completely mummified. The limb looked dead.

"Oh God!" Water Hazard exclaimed, "He not only can create sand, but he also drains the moisture from people?! This is not good!"

Luffy was freaking out about his arm as he shivered in pain.

"My sand sucks the water right out of your arm," Crocodile explained in a nonchalant voice. He gave a sadistic smirk. "Maybe I should suck all the water from your body and dry you to death."

Luffy slowly stood up as he gasped for air. "This is no joke." His eyes suddenly lit up. "That's it, water!"

He ran towards his clothes that he had discarded before the battle. He grabbed a small water barrel that he had around his neck until earlier and greedily drank the water from it. Within moments, his arm came back to life.

"So that's it," Water Hazard deduced, "It was so obvious, why didn't I think of it sooner?"

"Worthless," Crocodile said. But suddenly, he was sprayed by a massive stream of water, the Shichibukai coughed as he spat out some water before he felt a fist hitting him right in the face knocking him back. He stared up at his attacker in shock as he wiped some blood from his mouth, "How did you-?"

"What's the matter? Afraid of getting a little wet?" Water Hazard remarked as he ran up to Crocodile and proceeded to punch him all over. Never letting up until he landed one punch in Crocodile's midsection that sent him flying into the sand.

"Had enough?" Water Hazard inquired as Crocodile slowly got up.

"Insolent punk…" Crocodile seethed in pain, "If you're so keen on continuing this pointless battle, then you can both die with Yuba!" Water Hazard's eyes widened as a small gust formed within Crocodile's hand.

"Sables!"

A howling gale quickly formed, the tornado of sand once again blowing towards the desert town.

Water Hazard felt a pang of dread build in his stomach.

"The sand is nice and dry today," Crocodile said in a content voice before he glared at Water Hazard and Luffy. "Now then, Strawhat Luffy, Ben Tennyson, the prevailing winds here always blow north to south. If this small sandstorm rides that wind south and matures, where do you think it will strike when it gets nice and big?"

"To the south?" Luffy repeated.

"To Yuba," Crocodile answered with a huge grin.

"What?!" Water Hazard gasped.

Luffy's eyes widened in horror. "Why!?" He ran towards Crocodile and grabbed his fur coat. "You, what are you doing this for!? Stop it!"

"Look, a south-bound breeze is rising," Crocodile informed casually as the storm picked up.

"Those people have nothing to do with this!" Water Hazard yelled.

Luffy ran to stop the sandstorm, but was easily repelled.

"It is worthless. Give up," Crocodile advised as he looked at the chaos he had caused. "Once this storm picks up speed, not even I will be able to stop it."

"Quit screwing around!" Luffy screamed at the Warlord.

"This persistence is really irritating now, for two amateur pirates that know nothing of how the world works, you're in over your heads!" Crocodile hissed.

"Stop it, right now!" Luffy shouted and mustered the last of his strength and leapt at Crocodile, but it was futile, and with a single swing of his hook, Luffy found himself dangling, a good two inches of the hook impaled through his back.

"LUFFY!" Water Hazard screamed.

Luffy's body went limp on Crocodile's hook and slumped backwards like a ragdoll. The Warlord easily lifted Luffy off the ground, dangling the strawhat captain.

"Who do you think I am?" Crocodile asked in a low voice as blood dripped from his hook. "There are plenty of rookies who are all talk, just like you, Strawhat Luffy, on the Grand Line."

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Water Hazard leapt towards to save him. Crocodile glanced briefly at him, before swinging out his right hand.

"Barjan!"

A trail of sand following the swing of the arm in the form of a sickle. It quickly sliced through Water Hazard's armored torso, but instead of cutting, everything below him dried up like a flower in the sun. Instantly Water Hazard was snapped out of his anger as he let out a choked cry.

"This is what happens to all that stands in my way. Today, this country dies, and you two die with it." Crocodile shrugged dismissively. He was just about to leave when a powerful grip latched onto his arm. Luffy refused to die, and after Ben spraying Crocodile with water and the water pouch he received from Toto was punctured, he realized that Crocodile was tangible if he was wet.

"I'm not… dying here… I'm going to… become the Pirate King!"

Veins popped up on Crocodile's forehead; just why isn't this cockroach dying?! "Pirate King? As if you cannot sound any more naive, the path to that is impossible for a brat like you! You were lost from the start if you thought you even had the slightest chance of doing so! Every day, there are countless people like you, people who think they have what it takes to have a dream like yours. And all of them fell just you have today." he swung his arm down, and Luffy landed in the still swirling quicksand left earlier "Now you two can dry up in the sun!"

As he went to leave, Crocodile turned his eye back just in time to see a blast of flame heading towards his face.

Nico Robin was not pleased with her partner at the present moment.

Although she had put up with Crocodile for the past several years, she knew their partnership was quickly coming to an end. Crocodile's only interest in her was her ability to read Poneglyphs while Robin's only interest in him was the hope that the Poneglyph in question that he wanted her to read would have any information on her true goal: the Void Century.

Since she was eight, Robin had managed to detach herself emotionally from all of those around her. She had no friends anymore. The World Government saw to that when they blew up her peaceful home with their Buster Call. All she had left was the desire to learn more about the Void Century.

Then she met Monkey D. Luffy and his crew.

Luffy intrigued her almost immediately due to the D. in his name: the same D. Jaguar D. Saul had. Why were men who carried this middle letter so ambitious and different than the rest of the world? She was impressed when she met him after they left Whiskey Peak and had been saddened to hear of his demise at the hands of Mr. 3.

Thankfully the reports of his demise were greatly exaggerated.

As such, Crocodile had gone a bit too far in her eyes. She never trusted the man and had planned on betraying him as soon as she had the Poneglyph in her sight. However, she had decided that the time to do so might have arrived sooner than expected. She would kill Crocodile, force the king to show her the ancient stone, and slip away undetected.

But first she needed to catch Crocodile off-guard and, if she could help it, save Strawhat and the one called Ben Tennyson as well.

Using the abilities from her Devil Fruit, she hid herself from sight by riding on her personal accelegator transport and created a single eyeball on the hourglass in the sand when the fighting began. Doing so allowed her to gauge a proper strategy to employ against her partner.

All of that was promptly thrown out of the window when Robin saw Luffy running aimlessly through the desert. Deciding to help while staying out of his view, Robin created several hands to guide the way to the fight, including one that threw the small container of water she kept on her at all times on his fists. The young pirate was confused and interested at first, but his commitment to his friend took over and he rushed to aid him. But it wasn't enough as Crocodile defeated them swiftly and left them for dead.

The critical thing, however, was to use this opportunity to her advantage. As Crocodile left from Alubarna, Robin made her way to the quicksand where Luffy and Ben were presently being sucked into. She closed her eyes and crossed her hands over her chest. "Cuatro Fleur!"

Focusing her abilities into the quicksand, Robin summoned four of her hands to pull him from the shifting sands. It took considerable energy to do so while the sand was still moving, but in the end she succeeded. Creating more hands, she carried the unconscious boy away from the quicksand, ensuring that he would remain unharmed.

Luffy laid on the ground, breathing hard, while Robin quietly stood next to him with a look of interest on her face. He was now drenched in blood and was in real danger of bleeding to death. He was also still in shock given his violent trembles and needed immediate medical treatment. Nonetheless, he was still alive.

Luffy painfully turned his head towards Robin and gave her a glazed, half-conscious look. "Th…thank…you…"

Robin in the memory continued to stare down at him for a moment. She had a thoughtful expression on her face. She looked at Luffy the same way she looked at ruins. "Why do you fight?"

Luffy didn't understand the question.

"You people who carry the initial of D?" Robin attempted to clarify.

Luffy still didn't understand what she was talking about. "D?"

"It seemed I should not have asked," Robin in the memory said with a note of disappointment. She allowed herself to smile, a rare genuine one. "Your friend has been keeping Crocodile busy in your absence."

"'Friend?'" he asked. Robin merely pointed behind him, to where a being covered in flames and molten rock was shooting numerous fireballs at the Warlord who was frantically trying to dodge them. Luffy's jaw literally fell to the floor as his eyes widened in amazement. "Fire monster! It's Ben!"

"...Another form I take it?"

"Yeah! It's awesome!" Luffy smiled. "Thank you for saving me again! You're not such a bad guy after all!"

Robin merely chuckled. "You don't know me at all, Monkey D. Luffy."

"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to stop your partner! I know we'll see each other again, so I'll thank you properly then!"

With that, he turned his legs into springs and jumped away toward Crocodile and Ben's duel.

Crocodile had made a critical error when he began this fight: he did not take the shapeshifting boy seriously.

As a Shichibukai, Crocodile was used to punks with big egos and high aspirations coming after him all the time. This was nothing new to him. He had toppled giants, long arms, minks, fishmen, and even some of the Marines' best vice admirals in the past. It was this sense of superiority that made pirating seem dull and caused him to lose sight of his own dreams and ambitions. So when some punk transforming kid who thought he could defeat him by merely spraying some water on him came across his path, Crocodile anticipated an easy fight.

How wrong he was.

"Desert Spada!" Crocodile roared, sending blade after blade at Heatblast. But the Pyronite shot some fire balls which easily turned the sand blades into shards of glass.

"I'm sorry, was that supposed to hit me? I didn't notice," Heatblast mocked.

"Keep talking!" Crocodile was officially getting annoyed at him. He had never encountered someone who literally treated him as if he were an ant. He found he did not like it. "Crescent Cutlass!"

Using his one good hand, he swung his arm forward and sliced the ground where Heatblast was standing and prepared to drain her moisture dry. As it hit him, he merely chuckled. "Dude did you really think that would work? I'm literally made of fire, I don't have any moisture for you to suck out!"

"That's impossible!" Crocodile gasped. He stared down at his hook, realizing that even the scorpion venom in the second layer wouldn't do any damage if this fire creature couldn't be poisoned. "What are you?!"

"One of a kind, pal!'" He grinned. "And guess what else I am?" In a flash of green light, he transformed.

"SPITTER!" a green alien with a small body and a large head opened its mouth and covered Crocodile in disgusting goo, then transformed again. "AMPFIBIAN!"

"Take this!" Ampfibian sent a wave of electricity at Crocodile; however, the goo from Spitter was extremely conductive, so the effect of the attack was greatly enhanced causing the Warlord to scream in utter agony.

As Crocodile fell to his knees, smoke rising from his body, Ampfibian transformed again. "NRG!"

Realizing that he was about to lose this fight, Crocodile started to blend himself in with the surrounding sand to try to escape. However, the Prypiatosian-B channeled his radiation and slammed his hand into the ground, sending intense heat flowing through the dunes. The surrounding sand began to jut out into jagged glass forms as Crocodile found himself unable to do anything but cry out in anguish. For the present moment, he was able to experience severe pain.

Of course, this was the moment where Crocodile found himself punched in the face by a rubbery clenched fist.

"Luffy, you're alright!" NRG stopped his assault and looked at the new combatant. "How did you get out that quicksand?"

"Some lady saved me!" he waved.

"What...what the hell IS this?!" Crocodile got up and wiped the blood off of his face. "How...how are you alive?! I stabbed you!"

Luffy's face turned dark as he cracked his knuckles once more. "You did. And it hurt. But pain in nothing compared to what Vivi must be feeling! It's time to show you I'm not just some rookie kid who boasts! I will be the Pirate King!" he roared as he charged toward him. "And I! Will! Surpass! You!"

"GUM-GUM STORM!" Luffy shouted as he threw a punch at the man. Much like his Gatling, Luffy's arms appeared to have multiple and he smashed right through Crocodile's defense.

Without anything to hinder his fists, Luffy's attack slammed into Crocodile. Within moments, the Warlord was being plummeted with hundreds of punches at once across his body, knocking him even higher into air.

"NOW, BEN!" Luffy called to the Omnitrix wielder who slapped the dial once more.

"BIG CHILL!" Taking a huge breath, the moth alien exhaled a large gust of frost wind that quickly froze Crocodile in a block of ice now the warlord completely defenseless as the rubberman resumed his attack until the ice started to break and crack under the force of the assault.

In the span of less than a minute, the ice completely shattered and Crocodile was sent flying out into the sky faster than one of Usopp's fireworks, leaving a trail of sand in his wake. The match had been decided as Crocodile flew above his precious Rain Dinners.

"Sir, we've got Headquarters on the line!" a Marine officer informed Captain Smoker.

The cigar chomping man had just arrived back at his ship and had demanded a direct line to his superiors immediately. He considered the situation in Alabasta to be a disaster. Crocodile was being allowed to run rampant and the entire kingdom was about to topple apart. The worst part of it was the only two forces standing in his was were the Marines and a group of pirates he swore to bring to justice.

"Good. I'll be taking the message in my quarters. Get me if I'm needed. We are going to need to start focusing our energy on the surrounding ships and figuring out which are involved in this and which aren't. Captain Hina should be meeting up with us soon to help us with this situation," Smoker nodded, taking the Den Den Mushi with him as he closed the door to his room.

"Captain Smoker, report," the voice on the other side ordered. "What news do you have from Alabasta?"

"Listen up! Crocodile has staged a civil war between the people of this land and the Nefertari family! His end goal is to completely take over the country and impose his own will on the land; creating, in his own words, some kind of 'utopia!'" Smoker explained very tensely. "In addition, the Straw Hat pirates and a group of superpowered individuals with power unheard of have joined forces with the Princess Vivi and are attempting to stop Crocodile on their own."

"'Superpowered individuals?'" the voice repeated back to him. "Do you really expect us to believe this fairy tale?"

"Look, I could give a damn what you believe about that! All that matters is that Crocodile and his men need to be stopped before the sand runs red with the blood of the innocents!" Smoker yelled. "We need reinforcements if we are to keep this a Marine-controlled operation!"

"If Crocodile is attempting something, we will discuss further action on our own," the snail replied calmly. "We will require further proof to justify this as a threat to the world..."

Just then, the door flew open and a young Marine stumbled into his room. He was visibly shaken and in complete disbelief. "Um...Captain Smoker...sir?!"

"Haven't you ever heard of knocking?" Smoker growled. "I'm in the middle of giving a report!"

"But, sir...you need to see this!"

Sighing, Smoker got up and brought the snail with him. He wasn't expecting anything, but when he stepped outside, he stopped moving and dropped the Den Den Mushi on the deck of his ship.

Crocodile looking bloodied and bruised as he was sprawled out on the Marine ship with a blue mothman carrying a certain straw hat wearing pirate hovering above the unconscious warlord. "Here you go, guys! A special delivery from your's truly!"

The Marines were all frozen at the sight of this strange creature. As Smoker expected, it was "Straw Hat" Luffy and Ben Tennyson. But how did they find this ship and, more importantly, how did they capture Crocodile?!

Two of his men produced Seastone handcuffs and bound the traitor's wrists and legs. They then picked him up and carried him into the brig past the dumbfounded Smoker, who could not make sense of the situation.

"Hey, Smokey!" Luffy waved to him. "You said you wanted Crocodile, but we got to him first! Still, here you go! Take him so he can't hurt Vivi's country anymore! We kicked his ass for you really well!"

"'Straw Hat?!'" Smoker yelled to him. "Why?! How?!"

"I'll tell you later!" he yelled back. "We've got to find Vivi and tell her the good news!"

"You heard the man!" Big Chill said with a chilling tone. "Thank you, Captain Smoker! We appreciate the help!"

A Marine officer snapped a picture of the moth man, who didn't notice it, and then started flying away from the dock, into the town, and then away back into the desert, leaving Smoker a combination of confusion and rage.

"Smoker?" the Den Den Mushi called out once more. "What is happening there?! Smoker!"

The man picked up the receiver and stared at it. Choosing his words carefully, he finally spoke. "You want proof? I've got your damn proof..."

AN: Well I bet some of you have been looking forward to the Ben and Luffy vs Crocodile ever since this story came back. I hope you enjoyed. I know the results of this fight will end up causing some controversy but to be honest, Ben had a bunch of aliens that could counteract Crocodile's Devil Fruit and didn't seem right to have him lose right away. At least Luffy was the one who delivered the final blow so that's a plus. But keep in mind, the Strawhats still have to stop the rest of Baroque Works and both the rebel and royal armies from killing each other so this arc is still far from over. And yes, Julie, Rook, and Tetrax are now apart of this story. They're just as important as the rest of the main Ben 10 cast since I see Ben and Tetrax's friendship being similar to Luffy and Jinbei's. Plus, it finally put the whole Ben getting a girlfriend thing a rest as I actually do think he and Julie make a good couple and the way they broke up in Omniverse was completely asinine to say the least. Romance hasn't never been a major factor in my stories and One Piece does fine without it, so why should I do any different? Also I might need a beta-reader or a co-author to plan the rest of this story out, I haven't decided yet. Having said that, I promise the next chapter won't take this long and I hope to see you all next time.
