Author's Note: I know it's been awhile. I've had to buckle down in college and I haven't had much time or motivation for anything else. Given everything that's happened in the couple years since I started this story, I've found myself more and more despising even thinking about the story, even though I want to finish it and I have so much more I want to say. With that being recognized, I've decided to rewrite the beginning of the story. I'm at a different writing place right now and the first chapters simply aren't the quality I want to associate with myself anymore. This means that there aren't going to be any new chapters of this story, and no new content for awhile. I am going to leave this story up at the request of some of my followers, so please be on the look out for "Childish (Rewrite)" on my page (the name may be subject to change). In the effort of not over stressing myself, I'm going to try and rewrite a chapter a month. I know this is a lot and you've all been so patient and supportive of my struggles throughout this journey. I hope you can understand and that I see you all again in the future. Until then, please consider following me on tumblr under the same username and supporting me financially so I can continue to write these stories with more ease of mind. Thank you so much for the experience, and I'll see you all again soon. Love, Talon

"Peter!"

Tony jumped at the sound, clutching the Hulk toy which Bruce was glaring at to his chest and glancing over his shoulder, watching as May Parker made her way across the nearly empty McDonald's to the tables they had shoved together.

"Peter, oh goodness." She reeled the boy into the hug despite his protests and assurances of his safety, pressing a kiss into his hair, and Tony felt his insides writhe with jealousy, biting down on his lip. He didn't want to feel jealous of Peter, especially because Peter was really nice and one of his best friends and he was super strong too. Besides, Tony had an aunt who loved him too. Auntie Peggy was always making sure he was okay and bringing sweets. He blinked when May turned to him next, scooping him up out of the chair and holding him close, brushing wayward curls off his forehead.

"Ziaaaa," he whined, but buried his face in her neck anyway, still shaken from the experience. He had done everything he was supposed to do, everything his daddy and mommy and their security guards had taught him, but he still would've been taken away if Mr. Sam hadn't stepped in the way he did. May shook her head, pressing a kiss into his hair as well.

"Don't you 'zia' me, mister, you scared me! MJ, sweetheart, are you okay?" May's voice vibrated through his chest, and he felt her reach out with her free hand to brush hair away from MJ's cheek. MJ was badass and really nice, and Tony liked her a lot. He blushed at the thought, clutching his Hulk tighter, sure the plastic edges were making indentations in his palms.

"I'm fine, Ms. Parker. Peter and I double-teamed the guy, and there were a bunch of witnesses around. No big deal. The little tyke was kinda freaked out though."

"Was not," Tony mumbled, wrapping his arm around May's shoulder and playing gently with her hair, letting it run smoothly through his fingers. He heard May giggle and felt her hand on his back, and he was being rocked softly, lulled back into the soft sleepy warmth Thor had given him earlier. He heard Sam mutter "This is crazy," as May pressed her nose to his temple.
