(Kudos to the reader Warrwick! The only reason why I'm writing a third episode about 3 years since the second! Hope this is to your liking!)

Wind was whipping at her fringe, and the frosty cold was biting at her skin.
Her dress thrashed in the air, while her eyes narrowed.
She breathes out of her mouth, and a fine trail of mist comes out.
Looking around, there was no one near. In the distance, a single bar, alone in the snow, warm light emanating from within. Nothing else in a few miles around, no settlements, nothing bigger than the odd truck stop. It was the disgusting back end of society, this place. A disconnected, snow ridden town for pigs and dogs.
Slipping a hand into her sling bag, she checked her scroll, then nodded. The man was here.
The woman in red was an animal, a predator, with her long legs tensed, her fists balled, her amber eyes burning.
She could smell her prey. All she had to do now, was to eat it.

Lust, Love, Death: Episode 3

Kevin cursed, spinning his eyes around. Everyone was seemingly minding their own business. Behind him was a couple, Faunus, enjoying their beer. In the corner, some old men, playing checkers. But fuck, by the bar, were them. They were definitely looking for him. Knives hung at their hips, and pistols on the inside of their cloaks. 2 of them, one big, with bulging muscles and a bristling beard. The other was lanky, with a golden ring through his left faunus ear, which glinted in the dull light of the establishment.
Fuck, fuck fuck!
Kevin sunk into his seat, then crept up silently towards the dark corner of the room. All he needed to do was to get out of here. Then he could hire a ride out of snow town, maybe hide out in Beacon for a bit. Just a little bit further to the exit….
A thick hand grabbed him shoulder and shoved him down hard. Kevin toppled onto a table, knocking over plates and cups. The same hand grabbed him by the collar, pulled him up briefly. Another fist shot across his face, knocking him back down.
"Boys! Lookee what we 'ave here." The fist belonged to an ugly fuck of a faunus, with beady brown eyes and a rainbow mohawk. The other two men at the bar rushed over and guffawed at Kevin's crumpled form.
"Nice work, Tip Top." Slurred the one with the bristling beard.
"This one ought to be worth bit more than a pint at this shithole!" The one with the ringed ear nodded.

"Oi! Business outside, gents." The bartender monotoned. Meanwhile, the old men continued to play checkers without looking up.
"Aye, aye, give us a minute." Tip Top ran a hand through his mohawk and heaved Kevin onto a chair. Kevin coughed, blood dribbling down his mouth.

"Hard man to find, you are." Tip Top assured him. "Bit stupid of you to think you could hide from us out 'ere."
"C'mon." He hooked his arm around Kevin's. "Lets get you out of here, huh?"
The door of the bar swung open.
She stood there in a red dress that clung to her slim body. Her hair was short and black, gently falling over her face and sloping down to her exposed shoulders. The hem of the dress stopped midway at her thighs, tight black shorts covering the rest. Her skin was pale but soft, stretching over her chest, down to her stomach, across her hips, and beyond. Her eyes burned like fire.
Suddenly, the checkers game stopped and the couple did not enjoy their beer. Eyes were on the woman in red. Kevin's assailants watched, still. Their hands were at their hips, hovering over their weapons.
Kevin held his breath.
"What are you looking at? It's none of your business." Tip Top barked at Her.
She moved towards Kevin, leaving the door open behind her.
The wind through it sounded like howling wolves, biting and snapping at the warm air inside. It sounded like a snarl next to your ear, quiet, yet chilling.
She stopped at his table, hands at her side. She looked at him, head tilted, breathing steady.
Tip Top drew his knife and stormed forward, growling. He paused inches away from her, while she ignored him.
"Hey missy." He said, softly in her ear. "This boy's ours." His breath was hot and wet. Probably smelt bad too. "We found him first." Spit flew from his mouth and onto her face. "If you fucking want some piece of him, you're too late! Rules of the bounty, early bird gets the worm. You're late. I'd get lost if I were you."
His knife glided up. The tip glinted in the light. He traced it across her jaw, gently, barely touching her pale skin. It drifted down her neck, down her throat, then along her collarbone. The woman said nothing, and did not move. The sharp edge hovered above her upper chest, then, ever-so-slowly, pressed down.
A laugh came out of Tip Top, and he sheathed his knife.
"Got a problem with that?" He mocked.
Kevin gasped in pain as his assailants grabbed his arm and hoisted him up, ready to leave.
His eyes locked with hers, and then she put her arm on Tip Top's shoulder.
"Yeah." She remarked.
She struck at Tip Top's throat, her fist burning, tearing a hole through. Sparks flew, and his head topples onto the floor. A leg struck the other Faunus's shin, and he yelled. Another punch in the shoulder, scorching a crater in his arm, then a strike at his stomach.
Flames burst and roared, erupting through him and against a wall. He flew back in a flurry of blazing sparks, then tumbling down to the ground.
Kevin screamed and shuffled quickly under a table.
The third and final assailant gave a muffled yell and booked it to the open door, seemingly towards freedom. The woman grounded her feet and raised a hand. A blazing projectile, long and sharp, was formed, and fired.
It blasted through the third man's head in a shower of sparks. A single bloodied golden ring fell to the floor, then a headless body collapsed over it.
A pause. A painful silence over the bar. Smoking heat from the corpses. Then a checker's piece is moved, and normalcy is returned. More clinking of beer glasses, talking. This was just another day in the backend crap-heap of snow town.
Kevin gives a nervous laugh, trying to scramble away, but the woman steps next to him.
"That was…great! Thank you! I couldn't….have….I wouldn't….haha…what's that?" He chokes.
She places her scroll on the table, facing him.
"Haha…is that….is that me? On a bounty poster? Haha…look…whatever they're paying you? I can pay more. Just give me some time to get to my overseas account…I can wire…"
He bumbles and breaks under her stare. She put her hand on his shoulder.
"I can bring you in warm….or I can bring you in cold."
Cinder Fall smiles.

Ice bites at her. She sighs and wraps the cloak around her tighter.
The barge drifts into dock. Cinder pays the fee and steps onto land.
Bop, bop, bop. The dock's wooden planks creak as she walks.
Csh, csh, csh. Her boots crunch in the snow.
Big piles of it have been packed into the street corners, while people walk around in thick hoodies and scarves.
The sky is a dark blue.
The scroll slides across the table to Jax, who rubs his hands together in anticipation.
"You found him?" He asks.
"I've got him in a bag on a barge in the dock, waiting for my call." Cinder says.
Jax chuckles. "Did you lie again, say that there was an option where you brought him in alive?"
"Yeah."
"Not very festive of you."
Cinder inhales slowly, looking around the mercenary's hub. "Fuck the festivities. Never meant anything to me."
Jax nods and reaches into his vest pocket, pulling out a bag of Lien. He tosses it over to Cinder. "Thats what they all say. How original of you…..payment." He mutters, nodding towards the bag.
"You've been on a hot roll. Flawless streak of bounties captured, at your age! All the other mercenaries are getting jealous. They're afraid some 19 year old girl is taking all their jobs!"
Cinder leans back in her chair. "I do what I have to to get along. What's the matter? You jealous too, Jax?"
"Hell yeah I am! You asshole, taking all my jobs." He laughs loudly. "People are beginning to hear of you. There's this nickname, tossed around between the Faunus and the White Fang. The Woman in Red."
"Good. I've been doing this long enough." She looks at him for a while, then sniffs. "Whats my next job?"
"Young woman. Thief. I'll update your scroll with the file. Name of Emerald Sustrai. They say, she might be a useful assassin. Then again…" He laughs loudly again. "If she's too much of a bitch, she's also useful as a dead body."
Cinder checks her scroll, where an image of her target appears. Emerald is young, beautiful. Gleaming red eyes.
She nods and puts it in her sling bag. "Thanks babe."
Cinder leans forward and kisses Jax, wrapping her hand around his.
He smiles. "I'll see you in a week?"
"Sure." She bites her lower lip, before resting her head on his shoulder. Pressing her mouth against his ear, her teeth gently clasp on his lobe. "Just after you give me one more thing."

Its a same sex bathroom, so the sign on the door says. They rush in and slam the door behind them, locking it. Maybe they weren't supposed to, because it's a public bathroom. But they did.
Jax pushes Cinder against the bathroom wall. Her hands scramble across his arms, his back, tracing her fingernails down. They kiss, hard, pushing their bodies against each other.
Jax's thighs are warm against Cinder. She spreads her legs, wrapping Jax tight between them. He puts an arm on her chest for support.
Cinder purrs softly. "I've waited for this too long. I miss you."
"I miss you too, babe." He takes the hem of her skirt between his fingers, then slips them under, feeling her soft thighs squirm. His mouth glides up her neck, to her jawline.
"You taste good." He whispers.
Cinder feels his erection strain against her shorts, and she moans drowsily. "Say something dirty to me, Jax."
A pause, and he kisses her ear. "Bitch."
His hand wraps itself hard in her hair, flinging it against the wall. Cinder snaps back, head cracking into the tiles. Blood splatters, and she spins onto the cold floor.
Her vision blurs and her ears ring. Jax pulls her head up quickly, striking her across the mouth. Cinder flails and blasts a jet of fire, which Jax dodges with ease. Getting to her feet, she groans and tastes blood.
Another fist to the gut, then a strike to the shoulder, then a hook to the side of the head. Cinder slams against the bathroom mirror and falls again, shards of glass tumbling around her.
"You think I'm going to let some girl take all my jobs? Sorry honey." He growls.
Pulling her to her feet, he throws her around like a rag doll, sending her crashing into the bathroom walls. Tiles shatter and dust pools around their feet.
"Now granted. The sex was great…" Jax smiles. "Been with you for over a year. But a thing with this job?" He kicks Cinder hard in the face. Blood splatters. "The only people who die, and the ones fucking dumb enough to trust."
He kneels over his girlfriend, laying splayed on the floor. "And you, my baby…are the fucking dumbest of them all."
His boot stomps down on her hand, and she cries out in pain. Jax grits his teeth.
"If its any reassurance. I don't take no pleasure in this…babe. Its the job."
Reaching into her pocket, Jax retrieves her scroll with the bounty on it, then pockets it. Tears form in her eyes, and drip onto the ground. Rivers of blood trail from her mouth and nose, mixing with the tears to form some ugly cocktail.
Jax straightens up, looking down at her. "Cinder Fall. This is the great bounty hunter? Huh."
Cinder's heart thumps hard in her chest, her breathing rapid and uneven. Her fingers scramble across the glass laden floor, around Jax's ankles, squeezing tight, until she feels the bone within splinter, warm blood gush forth.
He yells loudly and kicks forward into her nose, which breaks with a loud snap.
Cinder lunges forward, summoning a spear-like projectile but Jax tackles her and the two fumble to the floor, grabbing and gasping.
His hands are thrusted around her throat, and he rolls over her, squeezing.
She chokes, legs spasming, eyes tearing.
Light suddenly blinds her, and she can feel her veins bulging on her forehead.
Her gasps come out in beats. Gasp. Gasp. Gasp.
Spit pools between her clenched teeth.
Most painful of all, she notices his face is calm. A smile tugs at the corners of his mouth. She trusted him. The realisation of his betrayal surges within her like searing hot lighting bolts coursing through her blood.
Cinder's hand slowly raises, and falls on Jax's face deliriously.

"That's it babe." He chuckles. "Let it go dark-"
Blooooorsh. He never finishes his sentence.
A long blazing projectile is summoned through his smile. He gurgles, then dies limp on the spike.
Cinder Fall notices dark red blood trailing down the spike, raining down on her.
She takes her scroll out of his pocket, standing up silently.
He's dead. She tells herself.
Slowly, her hands wrap around the waistband of her black shorts, tugging them off.
She lies down on his body, still warm. Pressing herself onto him. She begins to grind herself on him, crying.
Emerald Sustrai, her target.
The predator had a burst of sympathy. In that moment, she promised herself she would do everything to help her.
