"Hana-chan, " the teens froze as a voice called to them.

The three teens were in a medicine room, similar to a witch doctor's lab. Magical components where all over the shelves. Kyo was seated on a table in the center of the small room, while Harry hovered next to him, worriedly. Hana was attempting to patch up the wound with glowing golden energy. She had gotten it to close some but it was taking a while... hence who they got caught.

"High Priestess," Hana acknowledged as a young woman with pink haired stepped into the room. Two other fully trained priestesses were standing outside the do.

The two older women were easily as old as Grampa Albus... and like him Harry could feel their power bubbling at the surface. It was no secret that, in the world of magic, the older the individual the more powerful they were. And Priestess that lived to be this old had to be exceptionally powerful. They were probably guarding the temple.

The pink haired woman might look young but Harry felt something off about her. A powerful henge to distort her appearance. Yokai frequently use them to appear human. Harry has good enough to recognize such things considering the circles Papa travelled in. You couldn't be a werewolf running a magic shop without getting to know the other magical creatures running shops throughout the city.

The owners of such magical hubs actually directed psychics and other Yokai to each other's businesses. It helped build a bigger community... it was actually Papa Remus' idea as he had become a kinda figure head in the magical underground here in Tokyo.

While Yokai used this Henge Jutsu more frequently, humans could use them to. They just weren't as adapt at it.

The pink haired woman might only be using it to appear young, as she didn't exactly have a Yokai's aura... besides. It's not like temples allow Yokai in high ranking positions, although this one did allow them to serve as monks.

All the same it was rather obvious this woman was using a henge... it was also kinda obvious as her eyes were far older then the rest of her body.

Once the women saw what Hana was doing, the henged woman signaled to the others to remain where they were.

The old woman, with the young face, the high Priestess of this temple apparently, stepped over to Kyo and began examining him... actually it was more like "floated over to Kyo" as she was so short she couldn't reach him otherwise. Kyo looked more annoyed then nervous at her discovery of them... but Harry was a far cry from nervous. He was downright terrified. There was no way they could hide the attack now.

Pink hair didn't seem all that interested in the "how" at the moment, only that there was a boy seated in her table with a clear injury. Still, she lightly scolded Hana as she inspected the wound, "When you become a fully established member of our order, then you can make judgement calls over what to report to me. However, as an apprentice, it is not your place to assume what I need to know. You lack the training, and more importantly the experience, to judge a situation's threat level... particularly when it comes to lychan attacks." She recognized the bite mark.

Then she looked at the face of the orange haired boy a moment. Seeing into his soul, "Still, seeing as our young patient is a Zodiac, I won't be too harsh. The lychan curse is already being overwhelmed and will die in the next few weeks." She stared into the boy as she told him, "You'll be in a great deal of discomfort 'til then, particularly tomorrow night. As the lychan curse will be trying it's hardest to take root during the tomorrow's continued full moon. It will cause you to transform into your more docile Zodiac form, and leave you bedridden. However it will feel no worse then a bad flu." She put her hand over the bite and within seconds the wound healed, leaving not even a scar. "Your curse should purge all the Venom from your system by next month so you won't have to worry about falling ill from it again. Til then we will give you some wolfsbane pills to help fight off the curse more quickly. They'll also num the pain but leave you a tad drowsy."

Kyo rolled his shoulder as he cupped it. Feeling the sore muscles around it, "Thanks," he acknowledged.

The priestess eyes then turned to Harry, "I take it your father is responsible."

Harry stiffened. Of course they would know who he was. Temples made a point of knowing all magical creatures in the area, especially lychans. They probably had Harry listed in Remus' file. "It wasn't his fault," Harry answered, knowing there was no point in lying. All that would do was piss them off. Not only was Harry a rubbish liar, but a fully trained Priestess could pick up on lies as easily as spotting someone breathing.

The old woman's eyes turned sympathetic, "Of course not, doesn't change the fact he did it. Nor does it change the fact you snuck his victim in here and tried to treat his wounds without us finding out about it."

Hana spoke up, "That was my doing, High Priestess. They originally went to my house for help but I didn't have the means to treat the injuries there without wolfsbane to coat the wound."

"Which is exactly why you shouldn't have made the attempt. You aren't yet trained in how to deal with Lychan bites, and was purely doing guess work."

Harry sighed, before confessing, "She wanted to call you but we- I didn't want to risk getting Dad in trouble... it really wasn't his fault. I forgot to secure the door to his cell. This has never happened before."

"It should never have happened once." The High Priestess insisted. "We need to speak with your father in the morning." Seeing Harry's worried expression, The priest calmed, "We just want to insure this will never happen again. I give you my word, no harm will come to your father. Though we may implement tighter restrictions."

Harry slumped.

The High Priestess looked over at Hana, "Since you are so interested in dealing with Lychans, you and your Sensei will be charged with watching over the Lupin family to make sure they obey our restrictions. I'm sure she'll be thrilled to hear you got her babysitting duty."

Hana visibly sighed. Which got Harry all kinds of worried. Hana rarely showed emotion of any kind, this must be big.

Still Hana immediately straightens, and bowed, "Of course, High Priestess Chitose."

The old woman gave her a smile, "Now don't be like that. It's hardly the end of the world." She chuckled... then caught sight of Harry's scar. She reached reached out and parted the boy's hair to get a better look at it, "An interesting Rune..."

Harry stiffened, worrying She could see the "darkness" as well.

"It's one of the things my mom gave me," Harry explained, "It's supposed to bend luck to keep me out of danger."

"Obviously it doesn't protect you from stupidity." She commented.

Harry stiffened, but admitted, "No Ma'am."

She looked at Harry more intently, "I can see why Hana thought you were possessed." Hana told them about that? Of course she would. She thought a demon had leeched onto him, "I would like our rune master to seal that taint on your soul. It's seems dominant for now but best to be safe."

She turned, "Follow me,"

Harry gulped, "Shouldn't we wait til my dad feels better?"

"We don't really care about things like Parental consent," The High Priestess dismissed.

Hana nodded at the boy, to let him know it be okay.

However, Kyo spoke up, "Harry and his father are under the protection of the Sohma Clan."

"Good for them." Chitose snorted, "But lawyers don't exactly scare us either, and the Magic Gene is so rare in your clan, you hardly have the numbers to take us on. But if your interested in starting a turf war over this-"

Harry quickly spoke up, "Kyo doesn't have the authority to speak for his clan."

"No," Chitose eyed the orange head, "I imagine the cat doesn't."

Kyo bared his teeth.

"But he has a point..." all the teenagers looked as a boy, about their age, walked in view of the doorway. His hair was gray with orange tips, as well as odd birthmarks on his cheeks that looked like thin whiskers... A Kitsune? Wasn't every good at transforming yet so he was probably only a couple hundred years old, himself. Then again, the guy appeared to be a fan of his hair. As he was dressed in lounge robes of the same color... wait a minute... his gray and orange tail was still swigging about and so were his fox ears... plus Harry couldn't sense a henge... this is what the guy naturally looked like... a hanyou? The product of a Yokai breeding with a human?

Well... guess that did make some sense. Hanyou were not well respected by humans or Yokai. A temple is probably the only place he would feel accepted.

The Hanyou continued speaking, "The Sohma clan might not be magically dominant, but they do have many trade agreements with several other psychic clans, as well as magical beings. Seems a bit foolish to pick a fight with them when all we have to do is give their clan leader a polite phone call.

"Let's not forget Lupin-Sama is a well respected individual in the Yokai community. Hell he BUILT the Yokai community. They might not take kindly if you seal his son without clearly it with at least someone who represents the Lupin family."

The High Priestess sighed, "I hate politics." She groaned.

"That's the reason you have me." The Hanyou smiled.

"Things were so much easier when we just killed every monster that stepped out of line." The pink haired woman continued to complain.

Harry paled.

The Hanyou rolled his eyes, "That was about a hundred years before your time, so I don't wanna hear you talk about the 'good old days' to someone who actually lived through it. Fuck was Yoshimasa a bitch when SHE was high Priestess." He grumbled to himself. Then eyed Chitose, "I'll make the call." He turned to walk away, then looked back, "Try not to do anything stupid for the 5 minutes I'm not by your side, alright imouto-chan?"

"For fucks sake, I'm 237 years old! Stop calling me 'chan'!" Chitose demanded.

The Hanyou just smirked at her, before walking off.

The next morning, Remus felt his body aching all over... but the sight of his shop near crippled him.

Looking around at all the damage... at the blood... he couldn't begin to comprehend it... Albus had been the one to release him from his cage... and told him what happened...

Then informed him there were people from the temple here to see him, along with a promise to protect him. Remus hardly had time to process any of this, before he found himself sitting in his shop... looking at all the destruction he caused.

Hana-san was sitting next to a fully trained priestess. A woman about Remus' age, dressed in red and white robes... her face was as creepily emotionless as Hana's.

Harry was seated at the table, ready to pounce and attack a fully trained Priestess if need be.

"I regret to inform you." The Priestess spoke with a bizarre hollow sincerity, just as Remus took his seat at the table, "That the Temple cannot turn a blind eye to this. You have never had an incident before however this resulted in your less savory half biting a child. If it had not been a Zodiac, that child would either be dead or forced to endure the same torture you go through."

Remus hang his head in shame. Albus went to defend him but Remus touched his shoulder to stop him.

"As a result, we need to implement some restrictions. As well as impose a tax to pay for my new duties of patrolling the area."

"No." Was all Albus said, still smiling his Grandfatherly smile.

The Priestess raised an eyebrow, "I realized that seems harsh, but I have to quit my day job to handle these new duties."

"So you want to force Remus to pay so you can force restrictions on him?"

"Albus-" Remus tried.

However the Priestess stiffened, "Albus Dumbledore?"

The old saga kept up his smile, "Did you not realize who you were talking to? Is that way you thought it was okay to exploit the last of my children?"

The Priestess... gulped, "I wasn't aware you had children."

"Is more an honorary thing." The old man waved off. "Remus was close friends with my godson and so I got to get to know him quite well. I think of him as my own. So why do you feel you can get away with exploiting my child?"

Remus glared, "Albus, please. I can handle this myself."

Albus leaned into the back of his chair, but he said enough. The old wizard had informed the temple of his intentions should they do anything against Remus. That threat alone was enough to keep armies at bay.

Whatever Remus said hardly mattered at this point. Still, he tried to take responsibility, "I understand the need for you to monitor the area. Many of the shop owners on this block are my friends and I would be crushed if I had hurt them... or worse... make them like me..."

Hana looked at her Sensei, expecting the restrictions to stand, as she was unaware who the old man was. She couldn't even feel his power, his mind was so guarded... that should have been a warning, "It isn't all that bad. We intend to work in your shop, doing manual labor and cashier work while keeping an eye on you. We just ask for a livable wage in turn."

"That sounds fair." Remus nodded, it's not like he didn't have the money to hire on more employees. He just hadn't because he was saving up for Harry's College. However, now that he has the key to Harry's trust fund, the boy no longer needed to worry about that.

The trained Priestess looked to Albus, to see if HE found that fair.

"I don't mind Miss Hana working here." Said Albus, making it clear the Priestess wasn't welcome.

Remus groaned, "Albus, you can't expect an apprentice to be able to handle a Werewolf as old as me if I break out again."

"That Kyo boy seemed to do well enough." Albus pointed out, "Maybe you should hire him?"

Remus blinked.

"That would be acceptable. If the Zodiac want to take more direct responsibility for your actions, we would feel more at easy leaving my apprentice here."

Harry... blinked, a similar expression too his adoptive father's. Looking over at Hana, Harry cupped part of his mouth and whispered, "Are we seriously negotiating with a Priestess?"

"It does seem strange," Hana acknowledged.

Priestess weren't exactly known for making compromises. That is what the monks were for, but when a Priestess said do something, you did it. They tried to be fair, like saying they would actually work in the shop for the money, but as far as they were concerned. Whatever they offered WAS the fair version and didn't need to be altered.

"Children," Albus sighed, "If you can't take this matter seriously you can go to Harry's room and play."

Remus relaxed a great deal at the idea of that, "Maybe that would be best."

"But Dad-" Harry tried but was cut off.

"Now Harry." Remus tried.

"That won't be necessary," The Priestess informed. "We're almost done here. I just want to say I hope this incident hasn't compromised your decision to let young Harrison join our temple."

Remus stiffened but the Priestess seemed oblivious to it.

"Despite the boy's actions last night our high priestess agrees with Hana that he would make a fine monk if properly trained. We have already spoken to Lord Sohma about it and he seems quite taken with the idea."

Harry's fist tightened. Was Akito planning something? Regardless that could wait. His dad looked like he was about to faint from nerves.
