SZ: Eeyup. Same with its evolved forms given how the first in the line never appeared after the infamous episode...but we are gonna fix that in a sense! But before we start...we own nothing aside from original content. If we owned either series...we would've gotten more RWBY and Senran Kagura characters for BBTAG by now, same with a Diamond/Pearl/Platinum remake for the latter!

GT: Yes, but we can be content with NEW Pokemon Snap coming out for the Switch. *drops curtain*

Mai: Mai Natsume reporting. While going through a desert-really glad Yuki and Celsius are Ice-Types and could produce the needed cold for that-, we were making our way to Grandpa Canyon to get to the harbor town where we'd be able to get to Cinnabar Island. It was there we ended up in the middle of a 'fossil rush' with Trainers going to dig up fossils to revive thanks to a portal cloning device made by scientists from Cinnabar Island. We even ran into Leaf again...and she fined Ash for encountering all three Legendary Dogs and didn't tell anyone but Red. Also Gary was there with his ego-boosting cheerleaders...At least he didn't ask me or my friends to 'try and dump Ash' this time...then again, Leaf was nearby so...yeah.

However before we could join in….we encountered a certain annoying trio, who apparently came back from Alola with the intent of blowing up the quarry to excavate all the fossils. Ash, Makoto, and me all worked to try to put out the fuse for the dynamite while the others alerted everyone about the explosives. While Makoto and I tried to fight off Jessie and James's Pokemon, Ash had Krabby go after the fuse and it eventually led to a big chase that ended when Team Rocket tripped and rolled right into us that ended with us crashing down before the dynamite...and Jessie's crazy Mimikyu tried to attack Pikachu and set off the explosives. ...Yeah...Really hope she gets rid of it. That thing is way too dangerous…

When we regained consciousness, we found out that we were trapped underneath the ground..and Team Rocket tried to blame us for trying to stop them from setting the TNT off! I...These people are either insane or just really stupid and trapped in their own little world. Anyways, that blast didn't also trap us...it also woke up Pokemon that had been hibernating for years...Prehistoric Pokemon at that! Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte, and Omastar! They all attacked us for a bit while the others tried to dig us out...and then we found out that the explosion also woke up an Aerodactyl...an Aerodactyl...as in a giant pteranodon with a big mouth, razor sharp claws, and teeth...lots of teeth. And guess who got caught by the thing just as the rocks were moved out of the way of the exit? If you guessed Ash, you're wrong. It was me.

On the bright side, we managed to get out..on the downside, I was still in Aerodactyl's grip and was about to be eaten! Vent however...he wasn't having any of that and decided to stop Aerodactyl no matter what, his determination and courage to rescue me evolving him into Braviary. I'm really glad he saved me, but I'm still upset that he got hurt in doing so. *muffled shouting* Makoto, I am not adding a taunt to Cross about Ventus evolving to the report. *muffled shouting* ...I'm mixed on how Jigglypuff saved us with her Song and writing on our faces after we all-minus Ash, Pikachu, Leaf, and Gary-fell asleep from said Song. Turns out there's a Pokemon move that lets people not fall asleep that Leaf's Saur, now a Venusaur, knows.

While we were all waking up, Ash gave one of the scientists Makoto's fossil and I somehow ended up with a Pokemon Egg. Not really sure what's in it, but it's kinda cool. The fossil Makoto had revived a Pokemon called Tirtouga that Makoto named Rumble. Now she's got a full Party like Ash does. Leaf ended up catching the Aerodactyl while the scientists recovered the eight Prehistoric Pokemon from the cavern to study.

And as for Team Rocket…*snickers*...They got taken all the way back to Alola by a Bewear that's taken them in as her cubs. It may be scary, but I can't help but laugh when I think about the sight of a big teddy bear with a squeaky voice just grabbing them at any random time and take them all the way to the equivalent of Hawaii here no matter where they are. Ahem anyway. We're finally nearing the harbor town and about to head to the Pokemon Center...good timing, too. Pikachu, Berry, and Cherry are trying to pull the 'old man and women sipping tea' bit.

"We get it already, you're all tired and sore and want a Nurse Joy checking you," Makoto deadpanned, "We're almost there."

"I need to have Yuki checked on, too," Noel noted as she looked at her Alolan Vulpix in her arms, pacifier in mouth, "Hopefully, her last tail fully grew in. …"

"You still want her to keep the pacifier, don't you?" Misty asked.

"...Maybe…" Noel mumbled, cheeks a bit pink as Yuki looked up at her, sucking the pacifier twice with a tilted head.

"Noel…"

"...I can't help it. She's too adorable, Noel pouted.

"It's good we finally reached a town," Tsubaki sighed in relief, polishing her Dratini egg a bit, "We were running low on supplies, and we need some for the upcoming trip to Cinnabar Island."

"Which I am so ready for!" Ash beamed, "I heard Cinnabar lives near a volcano, so the gym has to be a Fire Type Gym!"

"And if it ends up being a Steel Type Gym?" Kajun asked, her Zorua resting nearby with Hikari reading a book.

"Huh?"

"Just because Cinnabar Island has a volcano doesn't mean the next gym could be a Fire Type one," Kajun explained, "If any, the volcano could possibly be used to help smelt different types of metals, so always make sure to have two teams ready just in case. One for Fire-Type and one for Steel-Type."

"Aw man…" Ash groaned.

"You have one really big advantage if it is a Steel Gym, though," Misty noted as she pointed at Charizard's PokeBall.

"And you have Krabby and Squirtle if it's a Fire Gym," Brock added.

"...True…"Ash muttered, "...Maybe I can check on one of my Tauros and train it for either Gym."

"Tauros?" Mai blinked.

"Last time I checked with the leader, he had some Ground type moves."

"And there's the one Tsubaki rode in the race that knows Surf," Makoto snickered.

"That is still one of the strangest things I have ever experienced," Tsubaki admitted.

"Still, good thinking Ashton," Kajun noted, "Once we rest up at the Pokemon Center, we can start planning out for some strategies."

"Yes? This is Matcha City's Pokemon Center," a Nurse Joy spoke into the phone behind her desk, multiple phones ringing nearby, "What? Another Pokemon that should have transferred didn't get there?" she quickly picked up another, "I'm Investigating right now, so please wait a while longer!" she answered, "...Sir, I don't know why your Sharpedo turned into a Magikarp. Please be patient! …Okay, that was just rude."

"...Or we could be helping with an investigation…" Kajun whispered once the group stepped into the Pokemon Center.

"I wonder what's going on?" Brock pondered.

"Judging by the sounds of it, the Transport System is on the fritz," Mai noted.

"I am really glad Hikari and Koko have been practicing Teleport with exchanging Pokemon for you with Professor Oak on the road so this hasn't happened to you, Ashton," Kajun noted.

"...Seriously don't call me that," Ash muttered with an embarrassed blush.

"That is impossible!" the group jumped at a loud exclamation, "I built this transfer system myself!"

"But complaints have been coming in all morning!" the Nurse Joy's voice argued from the back, "It's starting to affect some of the Gyms in the other Pokemon Centers as well."

"And like that some red flags are rising," Makoto whispered.

"...we better check it out," Tsubaki suggested.

"Good idea," Ash nodded.

"Again it is impossible!" a man with bushy green hair and glasses argued, watching a transfer machine transfer some Pokeballs, "With Bill's help and a few others from various regions, I designed this to help Transfer Pokemon, so it's impossible for it to be bugging out!"

"But people have been complaining that they've haven't' received their Pokemon or they've been replaced with Magikarp," Nurse Joy argued as the group poked their heads in from the doorway.

"Ano...excuse me, Nurse Joy?" Noel spoke, earning her attention as the group walked in, "What's happening?"

"...What isn't happening?" she sighed, "I honestly want to know myself...One moment when we transfer Pokemon such as Ninetails or Pokemon from outside Kanto, the Pokemon that arrives on the other end is suddenly switched with a Magikarp and the original never gets there at all."

"Seriously? Who sends out a Magikarp of all things? Those things turn into Gyarados," Makoto cringed, "Do they want people to get hurt and/or killed by a rampaging angry Gyarados if one of those things evolves after they're let out of the PokeBall?"

"Very appropriate question…" Misty muttered in agreement.

"...No. This seems deliberate," Tsubaki whispered, pondering for a moment, "It can't be a bug...if it was, then the Pokemon wouldn't even be transferred at all, so what could be causing this?"

"That's what I'm hoping to find out with Dr. Akibahara," Nurse Joy sighed.

"Dr. Akibahara?" Kajun repeated, looking at the green-haired man with a surprised look, "As in the Dr. Akibahara that developed the Pokemon Transport System with the assistance of several others in each Region on the planet?"

"YES!" the Doctor exclaimed as he spun around, "The very same, madam! If it weren't for my genius, no one would be able to transfer their Pokemon peacefully! And yet…" he turned back around to the computer he was working on, "There is something messing with my system, I will now admit...which should be impossible!"

"Could it be a virus?" Brock asked.

"Computers can get sick?" Ash asked.

"Yeah. Haven't you ever wondered why your computer has crashed or suddenly slowed down?" Makoto asked.

"...Actually when I was a bit younger, I did download this one game once when I was bored and my computer did just that," Ash admitted.

"Yeah...sometimes you have to be careful with that. Things like that tend to result in a virus infecting your computer."

"Oh~"

"?!" Akibahara gasped when he noticed something, "N...no way...it can't be…"

"Is something wrong, Doctor?" Joy asked, making him tense up.

"Uh...nothing. Just a glare on the screen!" Akibahara replied, "Uh...I need to go! I forgot something at my lab that could help with this issue!"

"What a strange guy," Misty noted once he had ran off.

"Nurse Joy, any chance you could give us directions to where his lab is?" Kajun asked, "More people looking for what he needs would help with this issue."

"Of course," Nurse Joy nodded, writing it down on a sheet of paper nearby before handing it to the group, "Here...and please hurry. If this problem isn't sorted out soon, then this year's Pokemon League might have to be cancelled."

"Don't," Tsubaki spoke, grabbing Ash's collar just before he could run off.

"But…!"

"We're going as a group so that things don't get worse by one of us rushing," Tsubaki advised before shooting a slight stare at Makoto, "Makoto…"

"What? Wh….this is about what happened during the second year at the sports festival, isn't it?" Makoto asked in a deadpanned tone.

"I just wanted a churro..." Noel sighed.

"Okay, this is the address," Kajun noted, looking up from the directions to a large mansion.

"Looks rather run down," Mai noted, seeing bits of the walls supporting the gate having some chipped paint, revealing the bricks underneath.

"He's probably so busy, he doesn't have time to clean or something," Makoto guessed.

"Regardless, let's head inside and see if we can find him," Tsubaki stated as they approached the main door, opening it to see it dark inside with candles barely lighting the place.

"Doctor Akibahara? Hello?" Ash called out as the group walked in.

"Mmm...This is wrong, just walking into someone's house because we feel like it," Misty whispered.

"And what you're doing isn't that?" Makoto retorted, earning a sheepishly chuckle from her fellow tomboy.

"Eh heh...well th-" Misty began as she looked forward, only to yelp as she pointed forward, "Ahh! What is that?!"

"What is whaaaat?!" Mai yelped as the group looked forward, seeing a large 'digital' version of Dr. Akibahara's head.

=People who just walk into my house...get this!= the head snapped, showing sharp fangs.

"PIKA-CHU!" Pikachu shouted, quickly shooting a Thunderbolt at the head, causing it to scream and shatter...before reforming.

=That didn't hurt at all= the head stated.

"Huh?!" Ash gawked before Kajun walked over and waved her hand through the head.

"It's a hologram," Kajun stated before pointing down at a small device on wheels displaying the head, "And a communications device. Hello, Doctor. I apologize for the intruding, but we're here to assist in what is interfering in your systems."

=Oh ho! Found me out and possibly assistance?!= the head exclaimed, waving a pair of signs with circles on them =You kids are very smart, especially the periwinkle haired one...very well! Follow me=

"Oh, I get the feeling we're gonna be dealing with Science Mode…" Makoto whispered.

"I must say that your method of transporting Pokemon through the utilization of PokeBalls is quite ingenious," Kajun noted, "With more trial runs, would it be possible to transport Pokemon outside of them and even humans?"

=The method is quite interesting. You see…=

"Yep...Science Mode," Ash groaned.

=Honestly, Ms. Faycott, I have not had such an exhilarating discussion in months!= Akibahara noted as they entered a large lab with a strange device before them =Thank you so much=

"It's no trouble at all. I rather enjoy discussing these topics," Kajun smiled, "What is this, though?"

=A special transporter meant for those outside of a PokeBall= Akibahara informed, his hologram frowning =A few days ago, there was an intrusion in this lab. The cameras were able to pick up two humans entering this device and stole one of my creations that were meant to help with the Transport System=

"Creation?" Ash repeated before Akibahara whistled.

Inside of the device, a light shined before a creature appeared. It had a navy blue polyhedral body with a white front, white triangular prism feet, and a white rectangular prism tail. It had a navy blue, polyhedral head that ended in a white beak and had hexagonal eyes.

"Porygon!" the Pokemon squeaked out.

"Oh! That's cool!" Ash awed, Dexter already whipped out.

=Porygon, the Virtual Pokemon. A man-made Pokémon that came about as a result of research. Porygon is capable of reverting itself entirely back to program data and entering cyberspace. These Pokémon will go around checking to make sure no suspicious data exists. This Pokémon is copy-protected so it cannot be duplicated by copying= Dexter informed, displaying a Porygon that was pink and blue.

"This seems to be a Shiny," Kajun noted as Porygon floated around them.

=Yes. For some reason when I made this one, it ended up with these colors= Dr. Akihabara informed.

"I see…Interesting," Kajun noted, notebook already out as she examined Porygon, "A Pokemon made from data…You're quite adorable."

"Pory?!" Porygon tensed before looking away bashfully.

=Anyway, I fear that the two who entered the system are stealing the Pokemon as they are transferred= Dr. Akihabara noted =I ask for you assistance with getting them out by going in there with this Porygon=

"...These two...they didn't happen to have a Meowth with them, did they?" Brock asked.

=No= Akibahara replied, making the group sigh in relief =However one got a bit snippity when his name was said wrong by his partner=

"...Butch and Cassidy," Tsubaki sighed.

"Thought the guy's name was Bart?" Makoto asked, giving an amused grin.

=IT'S BUTCH!= a voice snapped.

"...Yup. It's them," Misty sighed.

=Ahem! Anyways, if I put in a strong vaccine software in the computer right now, the humans inside will be blown to pieces. Which is why I'm hoping you all can dispel them from the Digital World and rescue the Porygon they captured=

"Of course professor," Kajun nodded, "We can select who to send in and the others can help monitor the situation from out here."

=...Actually…= Akibahara began, a glint appearing on his glasses.

"...I don't like that look he's giving us," Misty whispered as the Shiny Porygon hid behind Kajun.

=It would be better if you…= Akibahara began before a large hand pushed the group and the Porygon into the machine =All went together!=

"D-Dr. Akibahara?!" Kajun exclaimed in surprise as the tube closed on them.

=I recalled what you asked, Ms. Faycott...while two humans were able to transfer into the Digital realm...imagine the scientific possibility if I can transfer an entire group of them and their Pokemon in there!?=

"But...what if we can't get back?" Noel nervously asked, Yuki shaking in her arms with her pacifier sucking going nuts.

=Hmm….I promise you! As the true first to enter the virtual world, your efforts will gain you great standing in the scientific community! Statues will be erected of you as the pioneers of travel through the virtual world!=

"Say what?!" Ash gawked.

"So now we're your test Mankeys?!" Brock snapped.

=Mmm...since you're helping me in getting rid of those intruders….somewhat. Good luck to you all!= Akibahara declared as the hologram vanished.

"...I blame you…" Makoto hissed at Kajun.

"...I accept it fully and am completely excited for this," Kajun stated.

"...Tsubaki?"

*WHACK!*

"Thank you," Makoto thanked as Kajun rubbed the bump on her head.

"My pleasure," Tsubaki nodded, tapping her paper fan in her hand before the group heard the machine whirring to life, "..."

Blue lighting began to form from the top before it began to zap down below, hitting the Shiny Porygon as it started becoming data and vanished. The blue lightning then got to Tsubaki, Mai, and Makoto and vanished the three with a yelp.

"Ah! Wh-What is happening?!" Noel yelped, hiding behind Brock before the blue lightning got them and Ash.

"Let me out of here!" Misty panicked, banging on the glass.

"Hmm...Fascinating," Kajun noted before they went last.

"Ahh!" Tsubaki, Mai, and Makoto yelped as they fell out of a circular gate, the others soon following suit.

"Where are we?!" Mai yelped.

"I think we're in the virtual realm…" Brock spoke.

"Really? I'd say it's more of a 'Digital World', but I fear we'd get sued for copyright or something," Makoto noted.

"This is not the time for jokes!" Tsubaki snapped.

"Indeed," Kajun agreed, Porygon flying down beside her as she wrote in a notebook, "This is a time for questions. Does anyone feel off? As if they're missing anything?"

"Have you forgotten we're currently falling?!" Misty exclaimed.

"Pory…" the Shiny Porygon spoke as it flew ahead of the group, glowing a bit before it grew in size, just enough for everyone to land on.

"Amazing," Kajun noted, having landed in the very front, "You were able to expand your size while in the virtual realm. You are quite the interesting Pokemon."

"Gon!" Proygon preened happily at the praise as it began to fly off.

"So this is the inside of a computer, huh?" Makoto noted, "Feels crowded and all the lights are making my eyes hurt."

"Don't look at them too long without some eye protection," Kajun advised, pulling out some sunglasses that she put on Ash's face and a pair on her own, "You might experience seizures."

"?!" Makoto tensed at that before quickly pulling out her own pair of shades and put them on with the others following their lead.

"What's that down there?" Ash asked, looking at a series of pathways.

"That looks like it could be the main part of the network," Brock noted, "A Network Highway of sorts that the PokeBalls use to move about. I bet if we follow it, we'll find the problem."

"Good idea," Tsubaki nodded, "Then we can find a way out of here."

"We're counting on you, Porygon!" Ash cheered on.

"Pory!"

"Okay...That's a Rhyperior down…" Cassidy noted, picking up a Ultra Ball before switching it out with a PokeBall with a Magikarp in it, "Enjoy your trip~"

"Already we're doing far better than any other member of Team Rocket!" Butch laughed, standing near a large pile of PokeBalls, "I bet those two idiots would've just targeted the Pokemon Centers, but we're taking a step beyond that!"

"Indeed. Once we adjust things in the programing correctly, we can target all the Gyms in the region...and then target every single Pokemon Center and Gym on the entire Planet!" Cassidy laughed, "Eat your heart out, Jessie!"

"Team Rocket!"

"...Ugh. Those brats again," Cassidy scowled as she and Butch looked up, seeing Ash and the others looking down at them from on top of the Shiny Porygon, "...Nevermind. They brought us something special."

"Stop what you're doing!" Ash shouted, "The Pokemon Centers are in a panic!"

"No way!" Butch shouted, "We're not stopping until we snatch every single Pokemon from all the Pokemon Centers and Gyms in the entire wo-ack!"

"Shut! Up!" Cassidy hissed while Butch hopped around on one foot, holdign onto the one she stomped on.

"Did he say they were going to target every Pokemon Center and Gym on the planet?" Noel asked with wide eyes.

"Ugh, good going," Cassidy growled at Butch.

"Nurse Joy mentioned something about some of the Gyms being affected," Brock noted, "...If they succeed with this plan…"

"Forget about the Pokemon League being cancelled. The entire Pokemon World would be at risk," Misty realized.

"And you brats can't stop us!" Cassidy shouted as she tossed out a Pokeball, "Houndour, rip them apart!"

"Hitmontop, kick them away!" Butch shouted as he tossed his own.

The two Pokemon erupted from the PokeBalls with snarls. Hitmontop began to spin rapidly at Porygon while Houndour let out a gout of flames. Porygon looked at Houndour before its body glowed and turned pitch black and silver like Houndour's body. The flames hit it only to be brushed off before Porygon changed back to its original shiny coloration and fired a multicolored beam from its 'beak' at Hitmontop, knocking it away into Houndour and then both crashed down onto their Trainers.

"What was that?" Ash asked before a panel on Porygon's head opened and popped out a floating screen with the professor's face on it.

=Surprised, aren't you? That was Porygon's 'Conversion' Move. It allows Porygon to copy a different Type for any situation!= Akibahara declared with a laugh =Ah, by the way...Are you all feeling well? There isn't anything missing, is there?=

"Uh no...Aside from the fact you pushed us into that thing and transported us without our consent!" Makoto barked.

=Science waits for no consents!= Akibahara declared.

"You…!" Makoto seethed.

"Ugh...fine. Then we'll fight fire with fire," Cassidy frowned, pulling out a lone PokeBall with data lines on it, "Come on out, Porygon-Zero!"

With that, she threw it into the air. It popped open, revealing a normal Porygon. Its tail sported a small black flag with a red 'R' on it while its forehead had a '0' on it. It glowed for a moment as it began to grow in size until it was equal to Porygon's. Porygon landed on the 'highway' and let the others off before taking flight back into the air.

"Pory!" the two shouted as they clashed, slamming into one another as they tried to force each other back.

"You can do it, Porygon!" Ash cheered on.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu added.

Porygon-Zero's head glowed before extending out and becoming almost like a blade. Porygon's body glowed and turned into a riot shield of sorts to block the stabbing attempts. The Rocket Porygon's head glowed before turning into a hammer that began to strike at the shield to no effect.

"They're equally matched," Ash noted, "At this rate, it might go on forever."

"...Hmm…" Kajun began to ponder, watching the fight from below.

"Got s-" Mai began before a screen showing Akibahara appeared.

=Don't dilly-dally!= he snapped, startling most of the others =Take this chance to restore the highway so the PokeBalls can flow properly!=

"He's really pushy…" Noel whispered.

"But correct," Kajun noted as she kept focus on the two Porygon, "Hurry and move the barricades they've set up."

"Huh?"

"Well someone needs to give Porygon help," Kajun replied before shouting up to Porygon, "Adjust your angle twenty seven degrees!"

"Pory?" Porygon pondered but did so...before the impact on the adjust angle made Porygon-Zero shiver and move away.

"A jackhammer is better than a normal hammer," Kajun added.

"Gon!" Porygon nodded before it glowed and changed back to normal before its 'beak' turned into a jackhammer and slammed into Proygon-Zero's hammer-shaped head and began to pummel it.

As Kajun delivered orders to Porygon, the others ran over to blockade and began to push the barricade out of the way. Misty and Noel grunted, trying to push one only to yelp when Makoto easily picked it up and walked away with it while they fell over from loss of the object they were attempting to push.

"Wh-?! Hey! Stop that!" Cassidy and Butch snapped.

"Mmm...no. I don't think so, Butch Cassidy," Makoto replied.

"Makoto, n…" Tsubaki paused at that, 'Wait...Jessie...James...Billy...Kitt...Kid. Butch...Cassidy….Oh my god! Their names together sound like the names of famous outlaws! How did I not realize this until now…?'

"Uh, Tsubaki?" Mai spoke, earning her attention as she looked over...to see her and the others out of the way, "You might want to move."

"Eh?" Tsubaki blinked twice before Luca popped out of his ball, picked her up, and barely got over to them before the PokeBalls began to shoot off rapidly in streams of light, "Ahh!"

"No! Those rightfully belong to Team Rocket!" Cassidy snapped, "Butch, grab as many as you can!"

"WHAT?!" Butch gawked at that, "Oh no ya do…"

"Now use Tri Attack!" Kajun ordered.

"Pory…" Proygon's body tensed before its head turned into three cannons either glowing with a red, yellow, or blue light, "GON!"

With that, it fired out three spheres of the three lights. Each shot slammed into Porygon-Zero and sent it crashing down onto Butch and Cassidy, causing them to be swept up in the PokeBalls that were shooting off and sent down the highway, screaming. Porygon's head changed back to normal as it flew down to Kajun, hopping around excitedly in its tiny form.

"Gon! Ponrygon-gon-gon!" Porygon cheered, nuzzling her.

=Perfect! Now's my chance to…= Akibahara began before he noticed something =Hmm? What the….the Pokemon Center is accessing the Transfer Program? Just what are they doing?!=

"Oh now what…?" Misty sighed.

=Joy! What are you doing to my transfer system?!= Akibahara snapped at another screen =You...I….oh dear…= he looked back at the others =So….I may have some bad news…Someone from the main Pokemon Center arrived=

"...I sense a 'but' coming…" Makoto muttered.

"There it is," Makoto groaned.

"Um...Isn't that a good thing?" Ash asked.

"Ash, we're not part of the program it's meant to protect," Brock explained, "It will see us as threats and delete us."

"WHAT?!" Misty freaked.

=YES! So you need to get out of there n…= Akibahara began before a loud siren was heard =...And there it is….well...at least your sacrifice won't be in vain in the name of science! Good day and farewell!= he shouted as the screen shut off.

"...You feel that? That's how we feel when you go full-on Science Mode," Makoto muttered, giving a glare at Kajun as her ears flattened.

"I suppose…" Kajun muttered, glancing away as Porygon floated around her in confusion on what was going on.

"Something's coming this way down the blocked tunnel," Mai noted, managing to make out a floating vehicle resembling an ambulance coming towards them.

"...For a moment I thought it would be…" Noel began before the sides of the 'ambulance' opened up, revealing syringe-like missiles, "?!"

"...Porygon…" Kajun began.

"Pory~!" Porygon whimpered, quickly growing to its bigger side and letting the others on before flying off down the highway.

"What the...hey!" Cassidy shouted as she, Butch, and Porygon Zero came running back, the trio noticing Ash and his group flying overhead on Porygon, "Where are you brats going?! W-"

"If you guys don't run, you're never gonna get back to the real world!" Ash shouted.

"Yeah right! Y-" Butch began.

=Two more viruses detected...= the two looked over to see the 'ambulance' rushing towards them =Exterminate!=

"...RUNNING!" the two yelped, climbing onto Porygon Zero as it flew off.

The 'ambulance' noticed this before it shifted forms, changing into a more ship-like form themed after a syringe as it flew after the two groups, crashing through the last barricade as the remaining PokeBalls began to leave via flashes of light.

"Did that thing just become an X-Wing?!" Makoto gawked.

"It did no-...oh my, it did…" Kajun blinked.

"It's firing missiles!" Mai yelped as the 'ship' began to fire missiles at the two groups, both Porygons flying out of the way as the misses exploded, resulting in bright flashes of red, yellow, and blue lights.

"Really glad for the sunglasses…" Brock whispered.

"What is that?!" Cassidy exclaimed.

"The antivirus software that the Pokemon Center you were targeting just now deployed!" Mai replied.

"...We did not factor in them using antiviruses!" Butch panicked.

"Oh sweet Arceus, you two are just as stupid as Jessie and James!" Makoto exclaimed.

"Take that back, you cosplay loving brat!" Cassidy barked.

"Not a c…" Makoto began before she ducked, letting another missile barely miss where her head had been, "Complain later, escape the antivirus now."

"How do we get away?" Ash asked.

"We simply go back to the access point we entered from," Kajun replied as she pointed towards a circular gate in the sky ahead of them.

"Good! Hope you enjoy being deleted, brats!" Cassidy laughed as Porygon Zero flew further ahead.

"...I think I prefer Jessie and James over these two…" Misty muttered.

"Uh, guys? Something's up with the antivirus," Noel spoke up as the front of the antivirus split open...revealing the barrel of a laser.

"...Porygon, can you use Conversion with the Antivirus?" Kajun asked.

"Gon?" Porygon pondered, turning its head to look at the Antivirus, "Pory…" his body glowed before turning the same colors as the antivirus, "...gon." the antivirus shot past them and didn't shoot once, "Por…"

"Nice thinking, Kajun," Misty sighed in relief.

"It's what I do," Kajun nodded.

"Adios suckers!" Butch laughed as Porygon Zero was near the gate.

"Pikachu, block them off with a Zap Cannon!" Ash quickly ordered.

"Berry, Cherry, add on a Thunderbolt for good measure!" Makoto ordered.

"Pika/Emol/Pachiri…" the trio of Electric rodents began, their cheeks sparking before Pikachu fired his Zap Cannon while the two females fired off Thunderbolts that wrapped around the Zap Cannon, "CHU/GA/SU!"

"...uh...Cassidy?"

"What B-" Cassidy began as she turned...and saw the massive electric beam heading towards her and Butch, "..."

It didn't help things when the antivirus's barrel glowed and fired a white beam of its own just as big, if not bigger, than Porygon-Zero. The two screamed while hugging each other in fear.

"Hmm...If I do this, then maybe...no no...Maybe if I do this…" Akibahara muttered currently typing away at his computer before the lights went off for a moment, "...odd. I swore I've paid the electric b-"

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Cassidy and Butch's screamed as they were suddenly flung out of the machine via an electric beam, "Team Rocket's being blasted off~!"

"...That was odd….wait. Those were the two intruders! Then that means…" Akibahara began before he noticed Ash and his group, Porygon, and Porygon Zero fly right out of the machine next, "Oh you're all alive...I mean! Oh thank Arceus, you're all alive!"

"Hurry! It's about to fire missiles!" Kajun called out, quickly running over to him.

"Missiles? What m-AHH! The antivirus!" Akibahara screamed in realization, quickly typing away at the computer.

The group began to tense up as a missile began to materialize in the machine..only to stop midway as the incomplete projectile fell onto the floor. They stood there silently, keeping a cautious eye out on the missile...and soon breathed a relaxed sigh when it didn't go off.

"We made it out safely…" Tsubaki sighed in relief.

"Never again…" Misty whispered.

"I thought it was cool for a bit…" Ash muttered.

"YES! This means my experiment was a complete success," Akibahara beamed as he shot up, "Not only did you all come back safely, but you managed to get rid of those two hoodlums th-AHH!-!"

"YOU! You nearly killed us, ya psycho doctor!" Makoto snapped as Mai, Tsubaki, and Brock held her back while she rapidly reached out for Akibahara.

"My apologies for her," Kajun apologized calmly as Porygon-Zero hid behind Akibahara, "It's been a rather stressful time for her within the network. I must say that there is potential in this, but also great danger. May I suggest switching the output to a private network meant to test the limits of what this can do without endangering the actual network like those two did?"

"Hmm...That's quite a good suggestion," Akibahara noted, nodding in thought, "Since we know that using this could also cause damage in the form of someone blocking the transfer system and replacing Pokemon with random Pokemon, it would be safer to do so until more tests are performed." he looked at Porygon-Zero, "Ah! What is that on your tail?" he plucked the flag off and frowned, "How cruel doing this to one of my creations…" he looking around, "Wait...where is the other Porygon?"

"I'm afraid it took the blow meant for all of us from the antivirus," Kajun apologized, "A shame, truly. I was beginning to enjoy learning more about its potential."

"Really?! Ahh...Such a shame," he sighed, "Ah well, I still have the first one. Thank you again. Oh, and please take these. A week or two ago, I was fortunate to run into a visiting Professor that was assisting in the storage system from the Galar Region while she and her granddaughter were visiting." he handed Kajun a white thermos-shaped device, "It's a portable PokeBall Transport System that can connect directly to anywhere your Pokemon are located so long as you have the correct password from your Trainer Account. It bypasses the current system in place to make a direct connection, so no need to worry about this happening to your Pokemon."

"Why thank you," Kajun thanked, "It's perfect for our travels."

"Kajun, come on!" Ash called as everyone was now working on pulling Makoto out of the place and away from Akibahara, "We're starting to lose our grips!"

"I'm gonna thump him 'till his IQ drops to normal!"

"You have a good day," Kajun bowed as she followed after the others.

"...Oh that was close…" Akibahara sighed as he fell onto his rear end.

"Porygon?" Porygon-Zero tilted his head.

"Okay, so I just type my password in and…" Ash muttered as he typed on a small keyboard on the side of the thermos-shaped device before it opened up, revealing a slot for a Pokeball on one side and a hologram projector that displayed a floating screen that showed a ringing phone before it changed to Professor Oak picking up.

=Hello?= Oak asked.

"Oh, Professor Oak!" Ash beamed, "It works!"

=Hm? Ash? Where are you right now?= Oak pondered.

"Uh, well...I'd say a few good hours from any Pokemon Center, that's for sure." he looked around, "Just testing out this new thing we got. Something 'bout it being a thing folks have in the Galar Region."

=Ah, the Pokemon Box= Oak noted =You must have been to Dr. Akibahara's, I suppose=

"GRAH!" Makoto's roar echoed, followed by something exploding.

"We don't say his name…" Ash muttered with a scared expression.

=I had a feeling one of you would become enraged by his antics= Oak sighed =Still, this is quite nice. Galar's climate is far different to Kanto's, so you keeping this will be quite good for studying how to let more Trainers have these. Would you like to test out the Transport System feature of it?=

"Sure," Ash replied as he pulled out Krabby's Pokeball, "I'll send Krabby. Could I have Bulbasaur, please? I want to get started on trying to teach him how to use Worry Seed. We...um...have a problem with a Jigglypuff that I think is following us around."

=...Did you let it sing for you?=

"We did," Ash replied.

=...I'll get Bulbasaur immediately= Oak stated.

"...Kajun, any reason why you lied to the doctor?" Mai asked as she scrubbed Noble's head to clean off the excess dirt on the Cubone's head.

"Hmm?" Kajun blinked, looking up from something she was looking at, "Lie about what?"

"About what happened to Porygon," Mai replied.

"Ah...Well, that's because…" Kajun looked to the side...before Porygon popped out of a Premiere Ball on her waist, "...Athena went into one of my PokeBalls when Makoto snapped."

"...You're kidding me," Mai gawked as the shiny Porygon tilted her head at Nobel, who was tilting his head in curiosity at the Shiny Pokemon.

"I am not," Kajun shook her head, "I don't mind really..Athena is a rather cute and enjoyable Pokemon."

"...Well least it's safer with you than that doctor…" Mai muttered.

"Yes. While he is a good doctor, his methods are a bit...unhinged."

"YA THINK?!" Makoto snapped as she stomped into the area, a happy Honey hopping along beside her.

"(I think I learned Rock Smash from just copying Makoto)," Honey giggled.

"But that doesn't warrant an attempt at assault with intent…" she added.

"You don't know what I intended…"

"Besides 'thump him 'till he lost IQ points?'"

"He deserved it…" Makoto huffed, "Besides...thanks to him, we gotta find another port town to reach Cinnabar Island…"

"It's too bad we don't have a Lapras or two…" Kajun muttered, "Then we could go there on our own."

"I know…" Misty added with a sigh, "So now how are we supposed to reach Cinnabar Island?"

"I think there's another port town not too far from here," Tsubaki spoke, looking at the map with Brock.

"Shouldn't take too long," Brock noted, "Probably another week of walking."

"Another week?!" the more childish of the group gawked.

"There's another route that would take about four days off, but we'd have to go through a nest of Ursaring," Tsubaki explained.

"Yeah, no," Mai stated, "I had to go through one nest. Never again."

"Then another week of walking then," Misty sighed.

"Well...at least we might get more adventures out of it!" Ash offered with an optimistic grin.

"That's the spirit!" Makoto beamed.

"Pika/Emol/Chipa!" the electric trio added.

"We'll head off in the morning then," Tsubaki stated, "Because after all that earlier? I'm exhausted."

"Alright, let's set up the tents," Brock ordered.

"I'll go with Ash to gather firewood," Luca spoke.

"Good idea," Tsubaki nodded.

"Huh?" Ash pondered before Luca gently pulled him away to help gather, "Aw come on...Luca, why'd ya volunteer me for this?"

"To talk in private," Luca replied.

"Huh? What did you want to ask me about without the others?" Ash asked.

"Ash, I felt something change in you between the time I was in my ball and out of it back on the Raizen Mountain Range," Luca informed.

"Huh?"

"What I'm saying is...you might have the potential to use Aura, Ash."

"Huh? Really?!" Ash gawked.

Luca nodded as he picked up some sticks, "Yes. You already know what I can do with it. Able to 'see' without my normal sight, make my Aura Spheres, and even 'speak' to all of you. Before I was given to Giselle, I was told by my parents of what a human with Aura can perform. Tell me, during whatever happened on the mountain range, did something unusual happen for you? Outside of fighting Legendary Pokemon and being revived, I mean."

"Unusual?" Ash repeated, frowning in thought, "Um...I...I think I heard Pikachu speak."

Luca nodded, "That is one way Aura can be used by humans: understanding Pokemon through the aura in their voices."

"Understanding Pokemon? You mean like La does?"

"In a way. Her ability came from a Legendary Pokemon, not from herself," Luca replied, "The training won't be easy if you want to learn how to use your Aura. At best, I think by the time the tournament part of the League starts, you'll be able to sense Aura and even understand a few words from Pokemon. But if you're willing to learn, I am willing to teach."

"?!" Ash's eyes widened at that, "You'd do that?"

"Of course. We're friends after all."

GT: Oh, this is something new. Kajun got the Porygon and no epilepsy attacks. And Luca is now gonna help Ash learn how to use Aura.

SZ: Hai...then again, it was implied Ash could use Aura in the Pokemon movie Lucario debut in.

Z0: Also...how many times has weird magical stuff just happened to him? We sure the story isn't he's part magic by now...cause the first movie alone...kinda makes me wonder.

GT: Same. Heck, it's also implied Ash has Aura thanks to the Riolu episodes involving that Hunter J stinker. *grumbles* Lousy thieving woman and her stone laser…

SZ: Tell me about it...wait. Didn't she die near the end of the Team Galactic arc during the Diamond and Pearl season?
