Karai sighed as they stood in front of the previous leader's grave. She put the roses she'd been holding on top of the grave carefully and let a tear run down her face.

"Hey Leo, I remember your name
I left a dozen roses on your grave today
I'm in the grass on my knees, wipe the leaves away
I just came to talk for a while
I got some things I need to say

She sighed and left, sobs racking she throat.

August 14, Karai came back, more roses in hand to replace the old ones. She knelt down and picked up the old roses.

"Hey Leo, I remembered your birthday
They said it'd bring some closure to say your name
I know I'd do it all different if I had the chance
But all I got are these roses to give
And they can't help me make amends

Karai sobbed and hugged the gravestone, as this was as close as possible that she could get to holding Leo.

"Here we are
