A/N: So...Please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed how much these two pairs of brothers have in common. That would be weird. This list is mainly just for fun, but also maybe stimulate some ideas for a new story or two. We'll just have to see.

1. Older brother is noticeably (and significantly) shorter than younger brother.

2. Both younger brothers have had issues with keeping their souls attached to their bodies.

3. Both Dean and Edward are insanely protective of their younger brothers.

4. Ed, Al, Dean, and Sam all have a rather crabby teacher that is as close to a parent as they're ever going to get.

5. Poor Dean and Edward, they're both shipped with other male characters they both would rather not be. (I'm not protesting, I actually ship both Destiel and RoyEd, but that doesn't mean Dean and Ed would be okay with it. (:)

6. Both pairs of brothers are sadly shipped with each other.

7. The Elrics have what I like to call "A Winchester Complex," what with this whole "I don't want to live without you" thing.

8. They're all idiots. But we love 'em anyways.

9. Edward and Dean both take on all the guilt of the world and their mistakes, so the younger brothers don't have to.

10. Both of their mothers died when they were young.

11. Both fathers kind of...sucked.

12. One brother of each pair hate their fathers with a passion, while the other is respectful and loves the guy, nevermind his mistakes.

13. Let's be honest here, they've all seen hell.

14. Everyone has tried to bring someone back from the dead, with varying degrees of "success."

15. *clears throat* Roses are red, violets are blue, there ain't no me, if there ain't no you.
