Author's Note: To all my readers, thank you for staying with me for this long, and being patient with Goddess of the Rainbow. Work, personal problems, and other life events kept me from updating often, but you know what they say, 'The wait is usually worth it'.

Now I'm not one to advertise, but to those who read my story, Love of Flowers (My Hero Academia x Harry Potter crossover), there is a sequel out now called Changes of Fate. If you like that story or interested in my other works, please take a chance to read it along with the others.

I know right now this epidemic is hard for people in multiple ways; I have family, friends, and neighbours who are feeling it mentally, emotionally, etc. But that doesn't mean we should lose hope. Humanity has survived through many epidemics in history, and we have always made it through.

If you feel something is bothering you, talk to a loved one, a professional, or anyone who you trust. Finding something like a hobby that keeps you busy and active in these interesting times is also good too. For now, everyone; stay safe, be strong, and keep active.

I do not own Harry Potter or Katekyo Hitman Reborn, only the idea for this story.

Chapter 10

- Previously on Goddess of the Rainbow –

Iris' eyes widen in surprise.

"It's you," she said, realizing who it was in front of her.

"I must admit, I find it fascinating that my Sky and soulmate are the same person," the man said as he analyzed the situation, "And to have so many test subjects for my work is more wonderful," he added, looking at the mafioso with a dark gleam in his eyes.

Verde smiled as he assisted his Sky off the ground, one of his machines carrying her unconscious Cloud.

Yes, it was wonderful indeed.

- End of Flashback –

"How did you find us?" Iris asked the greenette, "The last time we met was in Naples."

"I had my machines follow you. I unfortunately had something to do before I could see you again," Verde explained, as his robots began collecting the mafioso.

"Well, in that case, thank you for helping us. My name is Iris and this is Skull," she introduced herself and the unconscious stuntman, "What is your name?"

"Verde," the aforementioned man said.

"If you don't mind, what brings you to Italy?" Verde asked as the pair (and Skull) walked.

"Travel mostly, needed a fresh start," Iris answered, "And you?"

"Research," he replied, "I'm trying to develop a robot that's…"

"Uses Flames?" Iris finished for him.

Verde looked at her sharply.

"Omerta?" he asked.

"Where I come from, we know about Flames, but we called them Aspects," Iris stated, "I saw your robots producing sparks of an Aspect, so I figured you knew."

"But you aren't a part of the Mafia," the scientist also stated.

Iris gave him a deadpanned look.

"With what happened earlier, it would be obvious I'm not," she said sarcastically, "That shit earlier started after I met Skull."

"Based on the surges from Naples, both of you are equally strong in Flames," Verde observed.

"We're also kind of a packaged deal too," Iris mentioned, hoping he got the hint.

It didn't even take Verde a second to understand the hint. Not only was his soulmate a Sky with a Cloud guardian, she also had more than one soulmate. How fascinating.

"Interesting," Verde admitted, "There is a 5% chance of having more than one soulmate, and a lesser chance to finding all of them," he said, recalling a study done on the multi-partner theory.

"Likely the Potter-luck from my parents, we're known to making anything possible," Iris stated, "Pumped full of belcher's sea snake-level venom and walking half an hour later after taking the anti-venom."

At this, Verde's glasses cracked, Skull started twitching.

"I'm sorry…" Verde apologized as he took off his glasses, "But did you say a highly dangerous snake like the hydrophis belcheri bit you? And you survived?" the scientist said incredulously.

"Like I said, Potter-luck," Iris shrugged.

"What-how," Verde started, retrieving his replacement glasses, before being stopped by Skull.

"Believe me dude, it's hard to deal with," he explained, "I think we should sit down and eat. I always feel better after food and a few drinks."

"Don't you hate alcohol though? We could always go to a coffee bar," Iris suggested.

"Screw it! I need a drink. Hot chocolate is good, but coffee tastes like shit."

Somewhere in Italy, a notorious hitman sneezed, missed his target, and cursed. Whoever caused him to miss his hit would be in a world of hurt.

Skull felt a shiver down his spine, and it wasn't from the cold.

"I have to agree with your Cloud, today has been a cognitive overload," Verde pinched the bridge of his nose as he sent his robots away, "Though I would prefer something better than alcohol."

Iris thought for a moment, and remember something.

"What about my house?" she suggested, "My family owns a villa nearby, we can go there. They likely have some strong wine."

"Give me the address, I will join you in an hour," Verde demanded, knowing his test subjects will be waiting for him, "I have some work to take care of," he said with some glee.

Skull shivered again. Iris' gut feeling told her whatever Verde was up to wasn't anything on par to Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

"Okay, Verde. Let's get going Skull," Iris said after giving the scientist the address.

"Wait up!" Skull shouted as he ran after the witch.

Verde watched them go with a calculating look. For once in a long time, he was surprised. Who would have thought he of all people would find his Sky and his Soulmate, as one and the same ironically?

'You've caught my interest my dear,' was his last thought as he returned to one of his many labs, a rare smirk on his face in intrigue.

'Let's see what happens next.'

Author's Note: Did you really think I would abandon this story? But sadly, when you have three stories in progress, you have to find time to equally work on each one. Anyway, if you have any questions or ideas for this story, leave a review or a PM. See everyone next time!
