So, here's exactly what happened to me.

I started posting my fanfiction, and was starting to get into it. Then I had slipping grades and got grounded from anything fanfiction for two weeks. After that I got really busy, and I haven't been able to get back into posting since. I tried to get into it again a few years ago and as you can see that didn't happen. I understand how horrible it is when an author stops writing a fic, and then doesn't do anything after saying they're back. So, I dug up everything I could find that I wrote on this, there's just over 6,000 words. I can't see myself continuing this story. As much as I would love to, I fell out of watching Arrowverse content just after the first really big crossover, due to many reasons. So, here is everything else I didn't post.

"Ok, what do we do?" Jesse asked. They had gotten away from the city, using motorcycles and the STAR labs van. They had packed as much equipment as possible into the van.

"I'll run to the police station, and explain." Barry said.

"And if the device is fired up while you're there?" Artemis demanded. Then she realized Wally was still in Central City.

"I'm the fastest person from this universe." Barry said. "I'll get in, deliver the warning, then get out to help search for the weapon."

"That's our best course of action." Cisco admitted. Nobody disagreed with him. "Go, and hurry."

Artemis watched Barry leave, then remembered Wally. She turned to Oliver. "Can I call Wally to make sure he gets out?" she asked.

"Fine, but don't tell him anything else." he warned her. She held back rolling her eyes.

"I know." she told him as she used speed dial to call Wally.

"What is it?" he asked. "Are you ok?"

"Wally I need you to get out Central City now." she told him, walking out of the groups earshot.

"Have you already gotten out?" he asked her.

"Yes, I have. You don't have to worry."

"Ok I'm out. And I'll always worry about you, it's my job."

"That's sweet of you, but I'm good right now."

"Why did you need me to get out?"

"The aliens are going to use mind control on Central City."

"Are you far enough away?"

"Don't worry, we made sure. Love you, see you when this is over."

"How long until it's over?"

"I don't know. I'll try to make it as fast as possible."

"What exactly are you up against?"

Artemis stayed silent. She didn't want to tell him.

"Artemis?"

"An army." she admitted quietly.

"Let me help!"

"And explain you to Oliver? And lose his trust? No, no way." Artemis said. "I value his trust, and it took me a while to earn it."

"If I remember correctly, he doesn't trust you much right now."

"Exactly! I don't want to make it worse!" She peeked over her shoulder, and saw that her call was taking too long. "I've got to go, don't go looking for me. I promise that I am fine."

"I can't even watch from a distance?"

Artemis sighed. She really needed to finish this call. "Fine, don't let anybody see you."

"I promise it'll be fine."

"Don't mess this up Wally. I mean it."

"Fine I understand. Go, don't keep them waiting."

"I won't. See you later!"

"Bye!"

Artemis hung up, and hurried back to the group.

"That was longer than telling him to get out of the city." Oliver commented.

"He was concerned, I had to reassure him everything was fine." she responded without batting an eye. "If you think I'm lying, sorry, I have no way to prove you right or wrong, so I guess you'll have to wonder about it."

She saw Diggle looking at her, trying to remind her of their conversation earlier, but she ignored him. Oliver was asking for information he didn't need to know.

"What plan do we have?" she asked the group.

"Um, we don't know." Barry admitted. "We don't have access to the army in space, so we'll have to wait for the army to come to us."

"We can't do anything?" Artemis asked.

"We're helpless." Cisco confirmed.

"Let me try to hack it again." she protested. "Maybe I can do something."

"Felicity, you're the best hacker in the world. You couldn't get into it. Unless there's someone better, there's nothing we can do." Diggle said.

Artemis made eye contact with Dinah and Roy, silently asking. She knew they were just as concerned about this as her. Both of them have her nods, saying they were ok with what she was about to do.

"I know someone better." she told Diggle. Everybody gave off some sudden surprised motion.

"Can they be trusted?" Oliver asked her after a second of silence.

"Oliver, he probably already knows about your identity, and Sara's, and Barry's and everybody's. He's just that good." she said bluntly. "The real question is can he trust us."

"What do you mean?" Oliver asked with a frown. "Why would he need to trust us."

"Never tell anyone anything about him, or this meeting, and we should be fine." Artemis said with a shrug.

"We need all the help we can get man." Diggle told him. Oliver nodded.

"Call him."

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

"Hello?" Dick Grayson said, answering the phone.

"If the world is about to be invaded by aliens that are about to mind control Central City, would you be willing to reveal your identity as Nightwing/Robin to my friends to help me hack them?" Artemis asked him.

"On my way." he said.

"Don't drive through Central City." she warned.

"I'll go around." Dick promised, hanging up.

Artemis walked back to the group. "He agreed, and is coming. He was in Gotham, so he'll take a while."

"That's fine as long as he gets here." Roy responded.

Artemis got a text then, from Dick. She read it and laughed.

"What?" Dinah asked.

"He heard I was visiting Central with Wally, and was going to surprise us with a visit at our hotel."

A motorcycle pulled up, with Dick on it. He had neglected the use of a helmet. He dismounted, wearing his trademark shades.

"Hello Mr. Queen." he greeted Oliver. He stuck his hand out. "Dick Grayson." After a brief moment of hesitation, Oliver shook it.

"Bruce Wayne's kid?" Caitlin asked surprised.

"We parted ways a while ago." he answered shortly.

"You can get into the alien's machinery?" Oliver asked him.

"No clue." Dick said as he walked over to the extra computer Artemis had set up.

"Out of curiosity, what makes you qualified to do this?" Oliver asked him, trying to be polite.

"Umm… made Felicity as advanced as she is now, being the best in the country, being the first Robin, and the one and only Nightwing." he said, the glanced up. "Retired though."

"Wait, like, Batman's Robin?" Cisco asked. "Like, disappearing into shadows and being an urban legend?"

"Hence why I became Nightwing." Dick said, looking back down at the computer. "I didn't like living in Batman's shadow. He got another Robin, who got killed. The current one is the fourth one."

"Are you in yet?" Artemis asked him.

"Just got in. I'll add a backdoor for you." he told her.

"In!" she announced a few seconds later.

"So, can you guys do anything?" Oliver asked.

"Hmm… I could take out about half of their ships without crashing into earth." Artemis said. "I can take over the controls."

"I'm back." Barry announced, blowing paper off the table.

"Any luck?" Oliver asked him.

"The police refuse to believe in aliens."

"Well, we can't risk you going back inside the city." Diggle said.

"So we can't evacuate." Roy said with a sigh.

"Ok, we'll just… evacuate them manually." Barry suggested. "I'll speed everybody out."

"You'd never get everybody out in time." Diggle told him.

"Ok, so let's destroy the machine then." Oliver suggested. "Keep it from doing anything bad."

"We don't even know where is! How are we supposed to destroy it?" Sara pointed out.

"We'll find a way." Barry said, being optimistic. "We always do."

"That means nothing. And everybody here has messed up at least once." Sara told him.

"Back to the subject, what do we do?" Diggle asked.

"If you can take care of the ships, I'll try to track the device." Artemis told Dick, everyone else oblivious to their conversation.

"Deal." he told her. She started searching, and found that it had been activated.

"Guys?" she asked, interrupting the ongoing argument. "It's been reactivated."

"Ok, that'll be our first step then." Oliver said. Nobody disagreed, probably so they would stop arguing. "Where is it?"

"Other side of Central City. And, before you ask, I can't hack into it."

"Yeah, I'm having no luck either." Dick said. "It's much better protected than their ships in space."

"Probably because it's their big weapon. I mean, I'd protect the mind control machine better, because I don't want it being used against us." Artemis told them. She printed the address out, and handed that to Barry and Oliver. "Good luck."

"Thanks." Barry said, taking the sheet.

"Wait for us, you'll need back up." Oliver warned Barry. Barry nodded, and then sped off with Kara and Jesse following. The rest of the heroes mounted bikes and followed as fast as the bikes would go.

"So, how are things in Gotham?" Artemis asked under her breath.

"Fine, nothing world threatening in the past week."

"That's what, a new record?"

"Very funny. I am very much capable of preventing those events from happening you know. I'm just as good as Bruce."

"Sure."

"So, how do you two know each other?" Caitlin asked them, probably wondering what they were whispering about.

"Well, umm…" Artemis almost froze. She had no story planned for this.

"I met her after MIT, and taught her the extra that she knows now." Dick said, without breaking a sweat. Dick's ability to make up convincing lies on the spot impressed and concerned Artemis at times.

"So, you didn't get this good on your own?" Cisco asked her.

"I was already very good when I met Dick, I was not average my any means." Artemis said, shooting Dick a glare in warning.

"No, you were already able to hack something FBI level." Dick admitted.

"And almost beat you." she added.

"Don't push it."

"So, how did you two meet?" Caitlin asked.

"Umm… we both joined a group thing, similar interests. We became friends after that." Artemis said.

"It's nice that you did. We would probably be failing right now if you hadn't."

"So, have they got there yet?" Cisco asked.

"Nope. Well, Barry, Jesse, and Kara are, but our slower moving group has about five more minutes to go." Artemis reported.

"You want to be out there, don't you?" Dick leaned over and whispered.

"Absolutely. But, I'm gonna have to let them settle this one."

"And if things go wrong?"

"Then there is no way you can keep me away."

"I'll join you."

"Wally will probably want to also. He's watching from over there somewhere." Artemis said, gesturing towards where he'd sped too. Nobody else noticed, they had moved on to their own things.

"How about you invite him over? I mean, Diggle and Oliver are the only ones who know nothing about him, right?"

"How's you'd know?" Artemis asked, surprised.

"Really? Prodigy of Batman, remember?" Dick told her teasingly.

"Ok sure, I'll call him over." Artemis told him with a grin. She pulled her phone, and sent a text. Seconds later Wally had sped there.

"That took way too long." he complained. "Seriously, I saw the bikes drive off like, half an hour ago."

"Well I'm sorry, I wasn't going to call you over but Dick suggested it." she told him, still grinning.

"He was watching?" Joe asked surprised.

"It was that or have him come over." Artemis explained with a sigh.

"Hey Wally!" Dick greeted him. "How have you been?"

"Good, everything was peaceful until a day or two ago." Wally responded, gesturing around them.

"So, are there any other mystery friends you're hiding from Oliver?" Joe asked Artemis jokingly.

"If I told you it wouldn't be a mystery, would it?" she responded.

"Is that a yes?" Caitlin asked her. "Seriously, you two are having enough trust issues, and you're hiding things from him?"

"She's got a point." Cisco pointed out.

"My friends are my business. Oliver has nothing to do with them. My friends have nothing to do with Oliver. So why should I tell him?" Artemis questioned.

"Umm, because he is your friend too, and he is slowly losing trust in you, and his life depends on him trusting what you tell him." Iris pointed out.

"I'm sorry, but the answer is still no." Artemis responded, after pausing for a second.

"They're there." Dick told her.

"Got it." She responded, turning towards the computer as Caitlin and Cisco joined her.

"You guys there?" she asked.

"We're all here." Oliver told her.

"Ok, the machine is still there, and hasn't gone off yet." she reported.

"The whole place is crammed full of them." Sara reported.

"Well, how about we attack." Dinah suggested.

"Eager to get moving?" Sara asked her sister idly.

"Something like that." Dinah muttered.

There was a moment of silence, as everybody prepared to enter.

"Go." Oliver said, and echos of glass breaking and doors being slammed open could be heard.

"There is a lot of them." she heard Diggle comment.

"Can anybody get to the device?" Oliver shouted.

"No, not even me or Jesse can." Barry responded. "They've crammed every square inch of this place with their army."

"Ok, I think I got a shot!" Diggle yelled, but then something must of happened because he swore and kept going.

"It's ok." Wally whispered to her, trying to get her to relax more. She hadn't realized how tense she was. "They're fine. I'm fine. It'll be ok."

She nodded, and got back to work, ignoring the strange looks from Flash's team.

"We need to retreat." Oliver said at last. "We're getting slaughtered."

"Ok, I'll help get everyone out." Barry said.

"I'll help get people out too, I just hope they don't have some force field around the building too." Kara said. She couldn't reach the device because of an invisible wall of sorts.

"We're on our way." Dinah said at last. Artemis let out a sigh of relief and leaned back.

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

"Do we know anybody else?" Barry asked.

"No, my only other ally is Constantine and he is literally in hell right now." Oliver said, pacing. Wally had ran away again, and Oliver was still clueless.

"Do you happen to have any friends on your earth?" Barry asked Jesse. She shook her head. He turned to Kara, who frowned, then nodded.

"I have a friend who's an alien like me, except he's from Mars."

Artemis's eyes widened. That meant he was like M'gann. "Like, a Martian?"

She nodded. If M'gann was here, she'd probably love to meet him, she was the last of them. Even though she was a white martian, she was a good one, and would love to meet someone from Mars.

"You know what? We need an army. That's what we need. We need to be able to say "Hey, here's an army suddenly appearing right on time to fill a plot hole", like in comics and stuff." Cisco complained.

Artemis and Dick shared a quick look. They could pull something of an army out of nowhere. If most of the older generation of superheroes weren't off world and dealing with another alien organization in another galaxy.

"What about picking them off in chunks?" Dick suggested. "Take out any small groups away from the pack, justs enough to thin it out. I know that it takes a long time but it's not like there's any other choice. We don't need anybody dying when there's another option."

Artemis gave him a thankful smile. Knowing Oliver, he'd organize a suicide mission to get the job done.

"I would gladly give up my life if it was the only way to save the world." Oliver said, stubborn. Artemis tensed, that brought back bad memories.

"There is another way, so stop considering it." she said, suddenly cold. She knew it was a suspicious thing for her Felicity persona, but she didn't care. "It isn't the heroic death of glory you'd think, especially if you left your loved one behind. She turned and stalked away, just walking. She knew Dick wouldn't let them follow. Once she was far enough away, Wally sped to her. He hugged her while she cried. He was here. He was safe. But she couldn't go through it again, especially if there was no miracle recovery.

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

That night, everybody slept on the ground, under the stars. Artemis acted uncomfortable, but she actually missed this.

"So, what should we do if it gets to be too much for them? I mean, Kara is pulling in her reinforcement in the morning, but I doubt that will change enough. And I doubt we have much time before the weapon goes of either." she whispered to Dick.

"Well, how about you try to tell Oliver that you have secrets, just like he does. Try to make peace with him, without telling him everything, and if needed, we can pull in the team without you losing that relationship." he suggested, just as quiet.

"I'll try. But do you think it would still work, with the whole team here?"

"We'd do a lot better than now. We'd have M'gann, Conner, Wally, Kaldur, me, and you. We'd be better off, at least."

"Let's talk to Dinah and Roy in the morning."

"And Wally."

"Yeah, and Mr. Overprotective-Boyfriend."

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

Early the next morning, Artemis pulled Dick, Dinah, and Roy aside to meet up with Wally. She had given a good excuse, but Oliver was still suspicious when the drove a mile away to have their meeting. When they arrived, Zatanna was waiting for them, having traveled with Dick.

"So, what should we do. Cisco is taking Kara back to her earth so she can bring over a Martian ally. We have a kryptonian, two speedsters, Dinah, Roy, Oliver, Diggle, and hacking skills. They have an army." Artemis summarized.

"I could always say that I'm another meta, and happened to be out of the city. I could make up some story." Zatanna told her. "But I don't see how we can bring anybody else in without looking suspicious. I mean, everybody already knows who Wally is, and it wouldn't be hard to determine his identity. Especially for Barry, I mean, he is also a speedster."

"We could always make up backstories, lies." Wally suggested. "I mean, I agree that I can't be revealed. But Connor and Megan could be other survivors from our earth, that we just didn't know of. The reason that people here were so surprised by another alien invasion and skeptical is because of how long it's been since any aliens made a public appearance. But Superman already exists, and there was an invasion a while ago, despite how little people seem to remember it. They could be other survivors from their respective planets, who were hiding."

"That's a good idea, they'd both help greatly." Dinah agreed.

"So, let's make a list of people who absolutely, can not, make an appearance." Roy suggested.

"Red." Artemis pointed out automatically.

"Yeah, having somebody who is my clone show up is not good idea." Roy admitted.

"I think having Kaldur showing up would be pushing it." Dick put in. "I mean, already having two aliens show up? And a meta?"

"We could get Bart in." Artemis suggested. "Nobody will know him, except Cisco, Wells, Joe, Iris, and Caitlin."

"That could work." Zatanna agreed.

"Is there a way for me to reveal my meta abilities?" Dinah asked. This shocked everyone to silence.

"Why?" Roy asked.

"One, the collar's uncomfortable. Two, I can start using it normally, because with the collar if it looks too natural it's a bit too weird. Three, the flash team knows metas existed before the accelerator, and probably told Barry, so that could back up my story."

"It's a bit risky." Artemis littered, concerned.

"Yeah, how about we consider but put it on hold." Dick suggested. "I don't know Oliver well, but from what I've seen I know he will not buy it that easily."

"Should we have a private place to meet, just us? Besides far from camp?" Wally suggested.

"Well, Zatanna's cover story could be she was trailer camping?" Artemis suggested. She got a lot of weird looks. "Hear me out. A trailer is a place to meet with general appliances and room. Also, privacy. Zatanna could magically expand it to make it bigger on the inside if possible, and then it's done!"

"That's actually not a bad idea." Dick admitted.

"I' buy a trailer in Keystone, and then drive here." Zatanna agreed. "I'd better get going then too."

As Zatanna left, the rest of them started contacting others to tell them what was happening, and how help was needed. Soon, they began planning out the next day. They'd have Zatanna arrive as soon as possible, they were hoping it would be in the morning. Then, the next time they had a fight, M'gann and Connor would show up to help.

As Artemis and Dick started to walk back along with Dinah and Roy, something made Artemis pause. "What if someone recognizes Zatanna's name? That's the name she used publicly after all. We've been lucky so far, and only Dinah is going by her original name. She has an excuse for that. But Zatanna? Who else would have that name. Plus, people are aware Connor and M'gann exist. What about when they get here. We've been treating this like nobody knows that any of them exist, but remember at one point people did, the just forgotten fast and public appearances have really died down, new heroes have arrived, and some of us weren't well known in the first place."

"That is a problem." Dinah admitted.

"Hope for the best?" Roy suggested. "I know we mean to keep our pasts secret, but let's be honest, how likely is it that's going to happen. I'm not saying don't be careful, but we can't change it now, so let's not worry as much about it."

"Can't we still hope this will end well?" Artemis asked.

"Nothing ever ends well without something going wrong."

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

Later that day, the group was startled from the silence they had been in by a shout of joy from above. The young justice heroes acted as surprised as everyone else when it was M'gann and Conner. They were both flying, and were in some sort of race.

Kara had arrived with J'onn, and both were a mixture of shocked and confused when it became obvious who was up there.

The young justice group had pulled straws to see who had to act as the person that called the aliens. Artemis got the short straw, so had to put herself into more suspicion.

Artemis stood up and walked to the edge of camp. M'gann saw her and flew down, landing in front of her. Conner followed. Artemis gave M'gann a hug.

"It's been forever!" M'gann exclaimed, playing along with the story. "How have you been?"

"Good, but we have bigger things to worry about now."

M'gann nodded, and followed Artemis to where the rest of the group was waiting.

"We needed help, and most of you, or those from this earth, recognize M'gann and Conner. They're old friends, and I figured that with an army invading calling them would be a step in the right direction." Artemis avoided looking at Oliver.

M'gann and Conner started talking to Kara and J'onn, seeing how they were in the same situation as them. Artemis tried to slip away, but Oliver caught up to her.

"First Robin, and now old heroes thought to be dead?" Oliver asked her. "Felicity, what is going on? How do you know these people?"

"I met some strange people in college." She tried to move away, but Oliver grabbed her shoulder.

"Is there anything else I should know of?"

Artemis hesitated. If she told him everything, she wouldn't have to lie anymore.

But the others would be revealed too.

"No. If something comes up, you'll find out."

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

Bart came next. Artemis has talked to Barry and his team. Barry, who'd been told about what had happened, had been hesitant. The rest of his team had too. But they agreed that Bart could be someone they had met and hadn't made the news.

So, when Bart showed up Oliver only glanced at Artemis once. And she was perfectly fine with that.

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

The aliens showed up in the night. Apparently they had found out about their group, and wanted to take them out. Artemis woke up to sounds outside the area the vans were parked in, but pretended to stay asleep. She could hear Dick stirring across the van, as people knew he was a superhero. He didn't have to pretend to sleep.

As a footstep sounded, Artemis knew everyone else had to be awake too. They either heard it or were woken up.

"Somebody's outside." Dick said aloud, incase someone hadn't heard it.

Suddenly shouting started, and Dick was out the door with his weapons. Artemis followed, and saw a group of hostile aliens fighting her group. She could see Barry and Bart running, the four resident aliens taking on their own share… it was madness. The aliens were winning too, unfortunately.

"Felicity!" Artemis spun to see Oliver shouting at her as he fought. "Run! Caitlin and Iris are already gone, go find them!"

Artemis has no choice but to do just that. If she didn't run and fought her cover was blown. If she ran but went somewhere else Oliver would find out. As she sprinted out, Wally passed her. Barry and Bart would be the only ones to get a clear look, and they knew he existed. Caitlin and Iris were pretty far away, as their stamina wasn't good. They could still see the fighting going on.

"We should go back." Iris was arguing.

"We can't do anything." Caitlin pointed out.

"Hey, I was sent here too. Can we go farther, if we can see them they can see us." Artemis pointed out. The two girls nodded, and started walking.

Eventually they had to stop. They were far enough away and Artemis didn't want to push the stamina of the other two.

"What if they come after us?" Iris asked. "We don't know what's happened to anyone either, do you think they're ok?"

"They'll be fine." Artemis said, calming the worrying girl. "We will too."

Suddenly they heard approaching footsteps, and not ones that their friends would make. Iris and Caitlin exchanged a fearful glance while Artemis picked up a rock. Three of the hostile aliens had found them, she realized, as they jumped at them. The only way for them to survive was Artemis blowing her cover, which wasn't good. But, as one went straight after Caitlin, she hurled the rock into its head.

"Pick on someone who can fight back at least. I mean, how pathetic are you?" She taunted. Wally had rubbed off on Artemis, and she wasn't acting like Felicity anymore.

The alien knew she was taunting it, though it probably didn't understand English. The three decided she was a good target, and all three came after her. She ducked as one grabbed at her, and kicked out its legs. One tried to aim some sort of gun at her, so she rolled and punched it in an area that resembled a jaw. She then grabbed its gun, and fired a few rounds into it before spinning and doing the same to one creeping up on her. The first one had gotten up, and she pulled the trigger only to see that the gun had jammed. Cursing, she pulled out a present from Wally. Pushing a button, it extended into a bow, and a few arrows. It was for emergencies, and this counted. Without much aim she fired all three into its chest, dead center.

It took less than a minute. She walked over to the final one and removed her arrows, cleaning the as well as she could.

"I will explain later, but neither of you is going to say a word of this to anyone else. Understood?" She asked her companions. They both gave quick nods.

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

When they returned to the camp, it was torn apart. Nobody was there, and a van had a gaping hole in its side.

"Artemis!" Artemis spun to see Wally crash into her, hugging her. "Your safe."

"What happened?" She asked.

"They got everyone but me, M'gann, and Dinah, they took them away on some flying vehicle." He explained.

"Well, they need a rescue party." Artemis said.

"We don't know where they took them." Dinah pointed out. "We should find them first."

Iris and Caitlin had started to clean up. Artemis has told them everything on the way there.

"I'll call Kaldur, Zatanna, and Red." Wally said, pulling out his phone.

"I'll get the bioship." M'gann flew away, obviously worried.

"I'll track them." Artemis added. "Oliver puts a tracker in his boot."

Artemis found her laptop, fully functioning. She started it up, and found Oliver's tracker in space.

"We definitely need the ship, they're in space." She told the group. M'gann landed in the ship. "Ok, we need to get Iris and Caitlin somewhere safe."

"Where can we go though?" Caitlin asked. "Our homes are in Central."

"We can take them to the cave." Dinah suggested. "Nobody really knows about it, and it has good security."

"Sounds good." Artemis agreed, before turning to Caitlin and Iris. "Are you two ok with it?"

Both girls nodded.

"We can pick up the others too." Zatanna said, appearing. "Sorry I wasn't here to help, there was an emergency."

"It's fine. It's better that your here to help us get them back." Artemis told her.

Suddenly they heard a noise. It was Sara, on a bike. She had said she'd be late as she needed to sneak away from the league.

"What happened here?" She asked, glancing around. Dinah volunteered to explain to her.

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

Soon Iris and Caitlin were dropped off, and the ship was headed to the coordinates. The ship turned invisible, and the group started planning.

"M'gann can go inside and let us in." Dinah started. "Then we stay together and find them."

"Stealth?" Red asked, playing with the string on his bow.

"As long as we can, but there's no way it'll stay that way." Dinah told him.

"We'll get them back." Artemis spoke up. "We can do this."

"I have no doubt that we can. The real question is the cost. You lose your secret, as do Dinah and Roy. But much more is at stake." Kaldur pointed out.

Sara was on her own. She's taken everything so easily that Artemis was wondering if she already knew. She was polishing her bo staff, probably to keep herself busy.

'Ok. I'm setting up the mental connection.' echoed M'gann's voice. She was in their heads now. 'I'll try to reach out to Dick, Roy, and Bart.'

'This is honestly not the weirdest thing I've done. Actually no, it is. But barely.' was Sara's comment.

'I'm not sure what to think about that.' Dinah replied.

'You guys are here!' Bart suddenly, cheered.

'Sit tight, we're on our way. Anything we should know?' Red asked.

'Not really.' Roy replied.

'They kept us blind and tied up coming in, now we're all together in chains. Barry can't get out of them. Kara, Conner, and J'onn are unconscious because of fire and Kryptonite.' Dick added.

'Let us know if they wake up. We'll be there soon, tell the rest help is on the way.' M'gann told them, trying to not sound concerned.

The bioship hovered over part of the alien ship. M'gann slipped out, and soon managed to open a hatch.

'It's to the right, can you see it?' She asked.

'Yep, on our way.' Artemis responded, steering the ship over. It landed silently and the group crept out. They choose a corridor, which M'gann thought was the most likely to lead them to the group.

'By the way, they just woke up. They seem weak though, but they'll probably improve as soon as they're away.' Dick updated them.

'Good.' Kaldur commented.

M'gann guided them through turns and crossways until they stood outside a door. Artemis fiddled with the lock for a bit, before the door slowly opened.

Nobody was in good shape. They'd all been beaten pretty badly, and Oliver looked the worse. Wally sped through uncuffing everyone, while the others kept guard at the doorway. They were completely suited up, for protection and so their identities wouldn't be distracting.

"We need to move now." M'gann told them. "I have my ship waiting."

"Ship?" Diggle questioned as they exited.

"My bioship, she's our escape." M'gann explained.

They almost got to the ship, when alarms started blaring.

"They know we aren't there!" Barry exclaimed.

"Get to the ship, we'll fend them off." Sara told them. "Even you Oliver, you're in no state to fight."

Artemis was already lining up her shot. The first alien rounded the corner, and she shot the arrow straight through the head. She and her team efficiently held the growing wave back, until they couldn't hold it anymore.

"Fall back!" Artemis cried, as they started to get overwhelmed. "Get on the ship and GO!"

"Agreed." Red muttered. He let another shot loose before he started running the other way. The rest of the group followed, making sure to keep away from the aliens bullets.

When they got to the ship, they saw Dick was still outside. "Get on already!" Wally shouted at him. Seeing the group coming, he finished up whatever he was doing and joined them.

The ship took off, and Artemis saw Dick smiling. Suddenly there was a huge explosion, and they saw not just the hanger but most of the ship's side blow up.

"Dick." Artemis could tell Dinah was struggling to stay calm. "What did you do?!"

"I figured that while I was on the ship I might as well drop some bombs." He said, grinning exactly like he had when the team had started.

"That was almost fun." Wally commented. Artemis turned to him. "I haven't done anything like that in over a decade Arti! I missed it."

Artemis sighed. "I always knew there was something wrong in your head." She muttered into his ear as she leaned into him.

"Ok, time to fix things up. We're going to the cave, so we need to be ready with medical attention. Because almost all of you need it, no matter what you say. Iris and Caitlin are already there," Joe breathed a sigh of relief, knowing Iris was safe. "and we need to regroup. We have equipment there still, and we can plan."

The group was too tired to question her.

~xXx~xXx~xXx~

"Welcome to the cave." Dick announced as they entered. Wally immediately sped off, exploring what he'd been missing for years. The former heroes dropped their stuff off in their rooms first out of habit.

They then returned, joining the group in the main hangout area. They had changed into their civilian clothes, so at this point their hidden identities were still salvageable. The others had been distracted enough they could've held it back.

But they agreed it was time to tell anyways.

"So, welcome to the cave." Artemis announced awkwardly.

Oliver was just watching her. "Felicity… explain. Who were those people and what is going on here?"

"Those people are still in the room." Roy told him. We was sitting next to Red, which Oliver was seeming to ignore. "Me and Red have shared the role of Red Arrow over the years, sometimes using different names. Or we do now at least."

"I'm the original Black Canary." Dinah explained. "Meta and everything."

"I'm Wally West, the original, but not well know at all, Flash." Wally introduced.

"I'm Miss Martian, but call me Megan. Also, I'm a White Martian, but I'm a good one. It's complicated." M'gann introduced.

"Conner Kent, but my original mantle was Superman." Conner didn't elaborate anymore.

"Zatanna, daughter of Zatara, at your service." Zatanna introduced.

"Kaldur, but I fought crime under the title of Aqualad. Pleased to meet all of you." Kaldur introduced.

"Bart. I have a last name but it's going to make everything so much more complicated. Just know I'm a speedster from the future and I'm the third generation with speed powers." Bart explained. He didn't want to announce to the whole room that he was Barry's grandson.

"You all know who I am." Dick said with a shrug.

"I'm Artemis. And Tigress, I guess. I moved and changed my name to escape my psycho family, and guilt over Wally's death." Artemis admitted. "Sorry about not telling you sooner, but I was in hiding."

"Jade's good though." Red pointed out. "Oh, and she says hi. She's busy watching Lian, so she couldn't come. She said she'd be here soon, probably dropping her off with your mom."

Artemis smiled. "It'll be nice to see her again." Suddenly she stiffened, and spun to the side, catching a flying knife.

"Good too see you too sis." Jade commented as she dropped down next to Red. She nodded to the rest of the room. She was seen as a close friend by lots of them, after turning good and marrying Red. "And mom says to not die, she cares about you too much and Lian would miss her Aunt."

"Will do." Artemis responded, dryly.

There was silence, as the new group took in the old group of friends.

"How did you hide this from the world?" Caitlin asked, after a minute.

"Our group was already a secret. We didn't find it hard to disappear off the face of the earth, especially after an alien invasion had already killed one of us." Artemis shot Wally a glare, who ignored it.

So, that's all I had. I'd love to give a plan for what was going to happen, but when I wrote this I didn't plan things out, I just wrote what ideas I had while writing. It would've had a positive ending for the alien invasion, but character wise I have no clue what would've happened.

Thank you for all the support you sent me, and I know this isn't what was wanted but I hope it was at least somewhat helpful.

Happy reading,
