"Breakfast time!" Narcissa announced, sweeping into the room with two trays. "An omelet for Kingsley and some gruel for my sister."

"It is almost nine in the morning," Kingsley said, scowling. "How is that still breakfast?"

"You're lucky you're getting it this early." Narcissa sniffed. "If it weren't for Annie going into labor, you wouldn't be getting any food until noon."

"The muggle went into labor?" Bellatrix asked.

"I don't see why you don't just let me go," said Shacklebolt, completely ignoring the death eater.

"Look me in the eyes and tell me you wouldn't go straight to the ministry and undo the time warp," the blond said, hands on hips.

"You broke at least fifteen laws and started a coup."

"Quite successfully, too." Narcissa turned to leave.

"Where are you off to?"

"Well someone has to keep watch over the few remaining students here while the rest of the staff go watch a half-breed be born."

The door slammed shut, and Bellatrix's eyes glittered.

Half an hour later, Narcissa was reclining in the headmaster's office, looking over some journal entries.

"Severus spends way too much time experimenting on Sirius," the blond commented, shaking her head.

"Professor Malfoy?" Pansy asked, knocking on the door.

"Yes, Miss Parkinson?"

"Uhm, I don't know how to ask this…"

"Oh, dear," Narcissa sighed. "I foresaw this."

"You did?"

"It's only natural when a girl is followed around by two boys…"

"Wait, what?"

"But, as much as I love Lady Crabbe and Lady Goyle, I would not recommend either of their sons…"

"Uhm, and what does that have to do with the man tied up in your office?" Pansy asked.

Narcissa sighed, her shoulders sagging. "Oh, never...wait, just a man?"

"Do you make it a practice to keep more people tied up in your office?"

"Pansy Parkinson, answer me now. Is he the only one in my office?"

The young Slytherin nodded. "Yes, and he's silently screaming, which concerns me greatly."

"Dammit!" Narcissa jumped to her feet. "I knew I should have watched her eat the gruel."

"Ma'am?"

"Pansy, you are in charge of the castle until I return. Do not let anyone in or out."

"Me, ma'am?"

"You're the only one left that I trust."

With that, Narcissa sped through the halls to her office, flinging open the doors. "Finite incantatem."

"Your bloody sister silenced me," Kingsley moaned.

"That's not all she did!" Narcissa rubbed her forehead. "Where is she?"

"Surprisingly, she did not reveal her evil plan to me."

"Shut it with your sarcasm, Shacklebolt," she undid his chains with a flick, "I am not in the mood."

"Now, you're letting me go?"

"Only to help me apprehend her. Hopefully she hasn't left the grounds yet."

Meanwhile, at Riddle Manor, Lucius stood guard, plucking imaginary lint off his robes. He scowled as he heard rustling behind him.

"Why aren't you dead yet?" he asked, not turning around. He shook his head. Wormtail was never conspicuous.

"I could ask you the same question," a determinedly feminine voice responded. Lucius jumped and swiveled. "But in deference to your question, the goody-goodies are too concerned with ethics to kill anyone properly."

"Bellatrix?"

"Yes, we can get all the mushy brother/sister reunion crap done later." Bellatrix flicked some hair from her eyes. "Where's the dark lord?"

"Hello to you, too."

"Malfoy, this is important. I can bring you the key to the demise of that bloody Order and the traitor." She shrugged. "Plus, you could even gain control of Hogwarts Castle."

"Why are babies' faces so squishy?" Luna asked, her nose scrunched as she looked at the newest addition.

"Perhaps because they were just squished through a birth canal?" Severus responded dryly.

"Did the entire staff from Hogwarts have to come?" Neville asked, staring wide-eyed at the large crowd standing in the hospital room.

"Remus always was their favorite," Sirius replied.

The headmaster shook his head. "It was just that compared to you and Potter, Remus Lupin was an angel."

"You seriously did not know Remus well in school," Regulus said. "If half of the stories I overheard are true, he was the mastermind behind it all."

The lycanthrope shrugged. "Only after the second year." He nestled the newborn closer in his arms.

"How is Annie doing?" Hermione asked, shuttering slightly.

"That image is what you get, Miss Granger, for demanding to be in the birthing room," Professor McGonagall said, scowling.

"I'm more surprised Annie let you," Harry said, brow quirked.

Hermione smiled. "People like me."

"Where is she, anyway?"

"Have you ever brought a child into the world?" Molly Weasley asked, arms crossed. "She needed her rest."

"What are the Weasleys doing here?" Draco asked, nose scrunched.

"Same thing Mad-Eye is." Dora shrugged. "They've come to congratulate another Order member and colleague."

"How do the muggles not seem super concerned with overcrowding?"

"They don't know half of us are here."

A pop echoed through the room. "Masters Harry, Severus, and Sirius! Mistress Narcissa has important news!"

Before Dobby could tell anyone said news, more pops resounded through the hospital wing.

Remus's eyes widened. "That sounded like they came from Annie's room."

The group turned in time to see green lights flashing beneath the doorway. Screams pierced the silence.

"Annie!" Remus yelled, making as if to run in.

Severus stepped in front of him. "To Hogwarts, now!" He laid his hand on Remus's shoulder. "Everyone to Hogwarts." With that, he disappeared, along with the newborn and father.

Dora's eyes flashed. She shook her head. "I'm an auror. I have to protect the muggles." She charged the door. Sirius followed after her.

"They can't go alone," Harry said, joining in the fray.

"And Uncle Sev would kill us if Dora were hurt," Draco added. Hermione shook her head as she followed the two idiots into the fray.

"Stop!" McGonagall yelled after them. She turned to Moody. "Does no one listen?"

The old auror shrugged. "In my experience, no." He turned and ran after the others.

The group paused once inside. Smoke filled the air.

"Where's the fire?" Neville asked, scanning the room.

"Didn't Sev tell you all to go?" Sirius asked, glaring.

"And leave you all alone? Yeah, not happening," Harry said, arms crossed. "Letting you go off to battle is never a good idea."

"They killed Annie!"

"We don't know that for sure."

"Yes, because so many spells let off a sickly green light," Wormtail said, stepping out from behind the smokescreen. "Is this her?" He pointed over to the hospital bed.

Hermione gasped. Dora quickly ushered her and Luna behind herself.

Minerva glared. "You were a Gryffindor! You were supposed to value loyalty and friendship over everything! How could you do this to your friends? First, the Potters, then you get Sirius sent to Azkaban. Now, you've killed the mother of Remus's child! If only your mother had lived to see…"

A shot of green light zoomed past the group, hitting the Transfiguration professor right in the chest. She dropped lifelessly.

"There, much better," Lucius said, smirking.

The Gryffindors ran to check on their previous head of house. Draco turned back and glared.

"How dare you?" the younger Malfoy growled. He lunged, but Sirius pulled him back. "You monster!"

Luna lunged from behind Dora. "Oh, no you don't!" the metamorphmagus said, using her arms as barriers.

Harry turned to Neville, his throat tight. "Take Luna and get yourselves out of here."

Before Luna could argue, Neville grabbed her wrist and apparated away. Fred and George stepped through the doorway, taking the others' place.

"No one harms Professor McGonagall and lives to tell the tale," Fred said, his teeth clenched.

"And if Harry made Luna and Neville leave, you know he isn't planning on going easy on you," George added.

Lucius rolled his eyes. "What sentiment." He shook his head. "McGonagall was a warning. Give us the traitor and Potter, and no one else need be harmed."

His son snarled. "A warning? That's what you call a warning? Countless muggles dead? Your previous deputy headmistress?"

"You say that like I should care."

"Sectumsempra."

Lucius sidestepped his son's spell easily. "You are such a disappointment."

Sirius stepped in front of the boy. "And you're a prick, but I don't see us pointing that out to you."

"Give us the boy, Padfoot," Wormtail warned.

The animagus's eyes flashed murderously. "You have no right to use that name."

"At least give us Snape. You don't even like him."

Sirius lunged, grabbing Wormtail by the throat. Lucius threw an Avada, trying to stop Sirius from killing the true traitor. Moody jumped in front of the curse, dropping instantly. Another curse came, but Draco easily deflected it.

"Potter, you know more will die." Lucius's gray eyes hardened. "Do you really want your dogfather to be next?"

"How did you even know we were here?" Hermione asked, trying to escape the protection of Dora.

"Master Harry Potter!" Dobby called out. He ran in.

Lucius growled. "Not this fool again."

"Dobby's a better elf than you'll ever be a wizard," Draco said, throwing a curse at his father.

The curse deflected. "Crucio."

Draco fell instantly, screaming. Hermione threw another curse at the elder Malfoy. Lucius let go of the Crucio in order to deflect the incoming Reducto.

Meanwhile, Fred ran over to where Sirius was strangling Wormtail and pulled the man off. Pettigrew dropped, gasping for breath.

George pointed his wand at the rat. "To think, we were letting go of the little fact Ron used to sleep with 'Peter Pettigrew' every night."

"One last chance, Potter," Wormtail gasped. "Come with us, give up the traitor's position, and no one else gets hurt."

"Why even take me alive?" Harry asked, scowling. "Why not kill me now and get it over with?"

"Because, as per usual, the dark lord wants you alive right now," Lucius said, his wand pointed in the general direction of the gang.

"That doesn't even make sense!" the boy-who-lived threw his hands in the air. "I mean, I don't even have a piece of his soul in me anymore, and it's not like he knew about that in the first place. What is it with him and sabotaging his own success?"

Dora raised her hand. "He's a very proud man?"

The elder Malfoy shook his head. "We don't question his plans. We follow through with every order without question."

"That seems very stupid, in my opinion," Draco gasped, slowly standing up.

"If that is your final decision, so be it." Lucius pointed his wand at Sirius. "May their blood be on your hands."

Sirius put up a shield just in time for the first curse to bounce off. He threw a return at Lucius, only to have to quickly block a charm from Wormtail. The rest of the room descended into chaos.

In the midst of the flying curses, Hermione let out a particularly strong Bombardo, which hit Wormtail and threw him across the room, slamming him hard into the wall. Silence fell as Lucius Malfoy turned and saw his only partner in crime dead. He growled and threw an Avada into the crowd.

Dobby, who had yet to actually give his message, saw how the curse was headed directly towards Harry. He ran and blocked the curse, his lifeless body caught in the arms of a screaming boy-who-lived.

With that distraction, Lucius made his exit. A Crucio missed him by seconds. Everyone turned to Dora.

"I kinda promised Aunt Cissy if I ever saw him, I'd do that."

The remaining wizards and witches scanned the room. Obviously, there was a lot of work to be done in a short time.

"We should probably get our people out of here before the muggle aurors come," George said, wiping his brow.

"For the last time, they are called police officers," Dora said, rolling her eyes.

Sirius bent over, gasping for breath. "Do we take Wormtail and Annie, too?"

"We need someone to take the downfall," Draco said, wiping his brow. "Leave the rat, but Remus deserves to bury Annie's body."

"And we also don't want a child alert going out," Dora pointed out. "A dead woman who just went through labor and no baby? That could raise some flags."

They quickly grabbed their people and apparated out. They arrived at Grimmauld Place moments later. Dora dashed over to the floo. "Hogwarts, Headmaster's Office!" she called out.

Moments later, Severus's head appeared in the flames. "Dora, are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm fine," she said.

"Then what the hell were you thinking?"

"That I was the only auror in the area? It's my duty to protect people."

The headmaster's eyes flashed. "And it's my duty to protect you."

"I can take care of myself, Severus."

"You could have been killed."

"Now is not the time. You can be angry with me later."

"Fine!" Severus huffed. "Should I send Remus over?"

"You may want to come, as well. This isn't going to be pretty."
