Hey Guys...probably surprised to see that I've returned after a very, and I mean very long time huh? Well...it's a long story so I won't go into full detail, but I will explain about some reasons for why I've disappeared and returned now.

To start off, before I had left FF, I was actually heading to College up at UNLV and while I was able to bring my laptop which allows me to do FF here, I had no time to do so because of all the different kind of homework I had been given. That meant getting hours and such that were new to me compared to High School and such, basically to put it the moment I finish my homework, out just seconds later.

Next thing is...after looking over my old work...my writing was absolutely terrible and I had decided to take a class on writing so I could work on my writing and perfect it. Although, even now my writing may still not be best as there's still a vast majority of words out there that I have no idea of what they mean, but I can safely say I'm a...mediocre writer if that's the right term.

Besides College, I had also been dealing with a family matter and as much as I don't want to fully explain what happened, to put it...my grandma...had passed away and it took me a really long time to...get used to not having her around any more if that makes sense. She had passed away about 2 years ago from the moment this chapter is uploaded so yeah...it took a long time.

Anyway, this isn't the time to get all sad for I believe it's time I've rewarded you all after disappearing for so long the LONG, LONG awaited Chapter 6!

Chapter 6

CP9 Attacks! A Mysterious Face Arrives!

-Inside Going Merry...

The remaining Straw Hats that had stayed after seeing Robin leave to check on Luffy, the mention of other monsters showing up shocked everyone!

A fearful look on Chopper showed such an example, "Y-You mean t-there's more of t-those monsters beside G-Godzilla?!"

Aokiji nodded, "Yeah...it seems that ever since his arrival back during the days when Gold Roger was alive, it caused a reaction around the world with the Navy getting reports of other monster sightings."

Nami got a little confused, but Sanji spoke up which helped her understand it better, "So Godzilla acted as a trigger of some kind which led to these others monsters to awaken as well?"

Aokiji nodded once more, "That's right, some of the reports we received included monsters that were unnatural, things like a giant snake like creature, a dinosaur and the giant armadillo creature we saw today alongside the red one."

Hearing about such things, Nami quickly asked a question that came to her at the mention of other monsters, "Just how many monsters are there out in the world?"

The Navy Admiral brought a hand to his chin in thought over the question, "Well...from the records that the Navy had on this...we had counted about...nearly 20 in total or..19 now."

"19!?" Everyone said in sync.

They couldn't believe it...the fact that there were that many monsters out in the world!? Godzilla and those two other monsters were just the tip of the cake if that was the case!

Zoro narrowed his eyes at this info, knowing for a fact that there were indeed more monsters out there than just Godzilla, remembering back to his days as a Bounty Hunter hearing stories about monsters that came to be whenever Godzilla showed up.

Knowing now that there were other monsters, Sanji now remembered about how he knew Godzilla from Zeff, remembering a story he told every once in a while of how he had seen the King of the Monsters do battle with an aquatic creature back in his days as a pirate.

Nami had a look of fear hearing about more creatures being out there, Godzilla was bad enough, but having to deal with others...if she heard about this back when she was a child, she would have never left her island to be honest.

Chopper got it the worst, the small reindeer trembling in fear over the news of other monsters living out in the world, Dr. Kureha or Dr. Hirulik never mentioned about such things back on Drum!

Aokiji continued on, "However, one thing to note is that some of the monsters the Navy learned about is that some of these monsters don't actually show up to destroy towns and such like Godzilla."

"Wait, so there are like good monsters?" Chopper asked, curiosity growing about these good monsters.

"Yes...or that's what we've examined, the only reason that the Navy assumed this was certain times back then, whenever Godzilla showed up, one of these good monsters would show up the next," Aokiji explained, "Exactly how today had gone."

Nami asked another question, "Do these monsters have names by any chance?"

"The red one I'm unfamiliar with, but the one with the spikes is named Anguirus." Aokiji told them.

"So then this...Anguirus is like one of his rivals?" Zoro asked.

Aokiji nodded, "Yeah, I still remember the first battle that I had witnessed between the two rivals back on an island called Sabaody Archipelago."

-Flashback...

It had been a normal day here at Sabaody Archipelago with citizens walking about their daily life, stores and such booming with customers and a few well known pirates not causing havoc because of the Celestial Dragons. As it was every single day, a Celestial Dragon would arrive either to have their own special services at each store or to join in on the occasional auction for their own slave.

Today had been the day for the next Auction and a Celestial Dragon had been present today to join in on such occasion, with the exception that she was accompanied by an Admiral in the form of Aokiji, assigned to protect her from anything trying to harm her.

However despite the fact that the Admiral was in charge of protecting the Celestial Dragon, the woman was rather rude and very demanding about how Aokiji did things. In all honesty, he never understood how such people were allowed to do such things when it seemed the damn Government cared more for these pompous people than Godzilla.

The only reason why he was here was because the woman was afraid of a pirate that had just recently earned the title of Warlord, Whitebeard, so she had demanded for an Admiral to protect her on this day.

Speaking of the Celestial Dragon, she alongside her guards and Aokiji arrived at the entrance of the Auction house with the woman already making demands, "Now that we have arrived, I expect you to make sure that ABSOLUTELY nothing happens to me!"

"Ara ara, loud and clear, also you don't have to yell when I'm beside you." Aokiji muttered, rubbing the back of his head.

The woman got annoyed by the comment and quickly pointed her fan at him, "What did I say about telling me what to do!"

Aokiji groaned, but answered her, "To not say such things."

The Celestial Dragon grunted, before entering the Auction house, two guards opening the door for the woman. Just before she could enter, screaming could suddenly be heard some distance away, causing everyone to look on in confusion.

"AHHH! A MONSTER!"

"RUN AWAY!"

At the same time, Aokiji's Den Den Mushi rang as the Admiral answered it, "What's going on?"

The Marine voice's from the other side of the line spoke in a fearful tone, "S-SIR! G-GODZILLA'S JUST BEEN SPOTTED ARRIVING FROM THE SHORE!"

Aokiji's features turned to shock at the news, "What!?"

That was all he needed to get to work, quickly heading back to his ship, ignoring the yelling and complaining of the Celestial Dragon who was furious of her guard leaving her.

The Admiral ran as fast as he could, dodging citizens running past him away from the madness before an explosion in front of him knocked him off his feet, debris flying all around him.

SKEEEEEEEEONGK!

Then he heard him roar loudly and right in front of him beside the tree was Godzilla stomping about, obliterating everything in sight with his Atomic Breath. Gritting his teeth, Aokiji quickly got up and pulled out his Den Den Mushi once more and called his ship.

Once it answered, Aojiki did not hesitate in stating on what to do, "Men, inform H.Q that we need backup now and tell the other ships to start firing at Godzilla!"

"SIR YES SIR!" The Marine replied, before the Den Den Mushi disconnected.

Narrowing his eyes, Aokiji got to it as he ran towards the madness and quickly went to helping the citizens escape the island by distracting Godzilla.

As the Admiral ran up towards Godzilla, the King of Monsters was able to feel his presence as it was the only one out of all these humans that had a strong aura and looked to see him running towards him, arms cross as he yelled out, "Ice Javelin!"

A barrage of arrows made of ice went hurdling into Godzilla causing his head to get pushed back from the attack, but did no damage. His head came back and dorsal spines glowed once more before firing off his Atomic Blast at Aokiji, the Admiral jumping up to a building to avoid the attack.

Aokiji continued his attack, thrusting his arm forward with ice covering it, shouting another attack, "Peasant Beak!"

A bird made of ice went flying at Godzilla, the King seeing this and simply ducked underneath the attack which made the tree behind him have ice cover part of it. Godzilla retaliated by grabbing a small building and threw it towards Aokiji.

With quick movements, Aokiji jumped to the side as the building he stood on was destroyed and sent another Ice Javelin at Godzilla, this time at his chest. Godzilla took the attack with no such trouble, before unleashing his Atomic Breath once more, forcing Aokiji to dodge more.

While dodging, the Admiral began to get infuriated that nothing seemed to hurt him inside his thoughts, Damn it! That bastard seems invicible!

Godzilla looked on in annoyance at the Admiral's attempt to stop him, but cannonballs impacting on his body brought his attention to the ships. The King Of the Monsters snarled angrily before obliterating two of them with his Atomic Blast which left only two ships.

Just before he could destroy the remaining ones, ice impacted into him once more, turning his attention back to Aokiji, a defiant looking showing at the same time.

The King of the Monsters returned his defiant look with his own, ready to fight once more. Their fight however had ended then and there as the ground began to violently shake causing Aokiji to lose his footing and Godzilla simply looked around in confusion before the ground some distance away from them exploded, a giant dirt cloud surrounding where it happened.

Skeeeeeeeeoooooooongk!

Godzilla's eyes widened in shock as he had heard another roar that wasn't his! That was impossible!

But the King of Monsters looked on in shock as the smoke cleared to reveal a giant armadillo like creature that had spikes on it's back and some on it's face. Unbeknownst to Godzilla, Anguirus, future rival and one of the two Guardians of the Earth had arrived.

At the sight of Anguirus, Aokiji looked on in fear as if Godzilla wasn't enough, there was another monster standing in front of him, "N-Now there's two of them!?"

Godzilla narrowed his eyes, sending a challenging roar towards his new opponent, fully facing him. Anguirus roared back his own and without any hesitation from the two, charged forward and the first battle of this eternal rival had begun.

Anguirus ran full force, landing a headbutt on Godzilla's body which pushed the King back and did little damage thanks to the small horn on his nose. Godzilla just grunted before grabbing at the Armadillo's sides and pushed back, Anguirus's feet digging into the ground as it occurred.

Aokiji could only watch, his fear now turning to shock, seeing the Armadillo fighting Godzilla! Of all things, he never expected to see another giant monster show up and actually take on the King of Monsters!

Anguirus roared, ramming his head up into Godzilla's chin, forcing him to let go which allowed Anguirus to follow it up with a signature attack of his. Standing where he was, curled himself up into a ball and began to spin at a very quick pace.

Godzilla had regained himself and just before he could realize what was happening, Anguirus came charging at him full speed in a ball, slamming into the King which was actually able to send Godzilla flying back a bit.

During the madness of the fight, the Celestial Dragon from earlier and had enough with her plan of wanting to get her a slave broken because of those damn things! She was forced to head back to her boat alongside her stupid guards after Aokiji had left her at the Auction.

Needless to say the Celestial Dragon was furious and planned to make sure that damn Admiral was killed for-

*SMASH!*

Meanwhile, Godzilla had landed on where the Celestial Dragon had been walking, crushing her and her two guards, shaking his head to regain himself after the spin attack. Anguirus continued his assault, quickly running up and slammed his entire body into the King which made the two monsters stumble into the sea, shaking every boat nearby, even submerging a few.

For a moment, nothing happened, but then two pillars of water came up and exploded and Godzilla and Anguirus were seen once more. The two were just inches from one another and they both had a defiant look.

Without any warning, Godzilla and Anguirus roared at each other and locked up with one another, Anguirus getting the lead, pushing him down into the water alongside himself. Aokiji watched from a distance, still shocked and somewhat amazed by how well this other monster was doing!

But his shock disappeared as the two began to battle farther into the sea now and the Admiral couldn't let Godzilla get away! Quickly running back to his ship, Aokiji jumped aboard much to the surprise of some Navy soldiers who were focused on the fight.

Aokiji informed his troops on what to do, "Men! Follow them! We have to assist that giant armadillo!"

The command confused the troops as to why their commander wanted to help the creature battling Godzilla, but obliged as their ship alongside the remaining ship soon followed after Godzilla and Anguirus.

-Present...

"...Afterwards, I followed the two monsters with the two ships we had until they both went underwater and disappeared, which made me believe they were fighting down in the sea." Aokiji finished explaining.

Zoro crossed his arms, eyes narrowing but shock was evidently shown in his eyes, "Unbelievable...to think that was where it all started."

"Indeed...ever since, Anguirus wasn't the only monster to show up. Just a week after what had occurred the next monster to had shown-"

Aokiji had been unable to finish his sentence as a violent shake made everyone lose balance and wondered what the hell was going on!

But then Luffy's voice was heard from outside, "LEAVE ROBIN ALONE!"

The moment he heard his captain say that, Sanji was already out the door, "HANG ON ROBIN-CHAN! I'M COMING TO SAVE YOU MY LOVE!"

Although they all had teardrops at the Cook's antics, mainly Aokiji never seeing such a attitude, knew for a fact that someone was attacking Luffy and Robin which was never good. Thus everyone quickly exited the ship, leaving the unconscious Usopp laying where he was.

-Earlier (With Robin and Luffy)

That night, the two had never felt so happy in their entire life after Robin had finally been able to express herself thanks to how Luffy explained he and the others were freinds and would help take care of each other to the very end.

Robin enjoyed every second of what was the first time that she could relax without having to worry about anything happening. Her eyes trailed to Luffy, a peaceful smile showing, the rubber pirate looking at the moon.

There was something about Luffy that seemed to always make her feel happy even in the midst trouble, but now she knew exactly why. He cared deeply for his friends and would risk and do whatever it takes to make sure that nothing ever happens to them.

Robin knew she was no exception, even though she started out as an outcast when she first joined, Luffy was the only one who had never been suspicious about her which was something she hadn't expected.

Since the beginning, her interest grew each day that past, but today was when it was it's peak and now...she didn't ever want to risk losing not only Luffy, but her new friends who cared deeply for her.

However...there was one thing that made her wonder about the Straw Hatted boy...what was his connection to Godzilla?

Why did you never tell me about all of that? About how your entire life you lost everything because of that monster?

She knew what he had said meant more and told her that he must've experienced being in the presence of the King of Monsters.

Thus Robin decided to ask him about that, "Luffy...you mentioned before of how you asked me how my life had been lost because of Godzilla."

The captain looked to her in somewhat surprise, "Yeah, why bring that up?"

"Well...the way how you said it...did something happen involving you and Godzilla?" Robin asked.

Luffy yelped in surprise, before sheepishly rubbing his head in embarrassment, "Nah, I just said what had come to my mind that's all."

Robin just stared before she giggled over his antics, thinking he looked cute embarrassed which prompted Luffy to blush slightly.

It left soon after as he continued to speak, "But I do know about Godzilla, just that I had never seen him till today."

The Archaeologist nodded in understanding, knowing that at least everyone had never seen the King before but have at least heard of him, "How did you learn about Godzilla before?"

Luffy looked at her before chuckling, taking his hat off and looked at it nostalgically, "Well...it was thanks to the same man that gave me this hat."

At the info, Robin was somewhat surprised to hear that someone had given him his signature hat, "Really? Who was it that gave you the hat?"

Luffy chuckled again, before answering her, "His name is Shanks...he's the reason why I'm chasing my dream to become King of the Pirates and the one who gave me this hat."

Shanks...that name sounded awfully familiar to Robin...where had she heard that name before?

She was brought out of it however as a mysterious voice spoke behind her, "It's quite a lovely night isn't it...Nico Robin?"

Fear was evidently shown the moment she heard the person say her name, Robin and Luffy quickly getting up to stare at the new arrival. It turned out that there was more than just one person that arrived here at their location.

Three figures stood in front of the two, wearing black cloaks and weird looking masks with the third one on the left being the tallest of them all. Robin looked on fearfully as these people knew exactly who she was, while Luffy had donned a serious look, stepping in front of Robin to protect her.

"Hey! Who the hell are you guys!?" Luffy asked angrily.

The figure on the left spoke first, the voice female, "We're apart of CP9 and we've come here for Nico Robin."

Fear grew even more as they mentioned they were CP9, that was the Assassin group that worked only for the World Government. If they were here...then that meant the Government was intent on getting her now!

The figure in the middle spoke, the voice male and sounded somewhat bored, "I'm sure you already know the reason exactly why we're here for you."

Robin begrudgingly answered, "It's because of my knowledge of the Poneglphy's."

The tallest figure spoke, voice male and sounded gruff, "That's correct and unless you want things to get nasty...I suggest you hand yourself over so things don't get complicated."

Robin stepped back, fear still evident, but her face showed defiance alongside it, "N-Never! I'm not turning myself in to you bastards! After what happened to my mother and finally finding friends that care for me...I'm not going get rid of that!"

Luffy added in his own words, "Yeah! Robin's my Nakama! If you plan taking her from me, then you'll have to go through me!"

The man in the middle chuckled, "If that's how it is, then we don't have to hide our faces anymore since you'll be dead when we're done."

The two beside him nodded before the three CP9 agents shed their cloaks and masks which in return made Luffy and Robin look on in shock! Besides the tall man that had his hair into horns like a bull who they didn't know, the other two were Iceburg's assistant Kalifa and one of the expert bridge builders Lucci!

"A-Ah! It's pigeon guy!" Luffy called out Lucci by the nickname he gave him.

Lucci didn't make a reaction over the comment, his pigeon flying from no where and landing on his shoulder. Lucci knew that this would be a pretty easy fight if he ended now, but decided not to as he wanted to watch Robin suffer seeing her new friends die right in front of her.

Lucci looked over to the man with horns, "Blueno...make the Straw Hat kid suffer in front of her eyes."

An evil smile showed on Blueno's features, "Loud and clear."

The tallest CP9 agent got into a stance, causing Luffy to bring his fists and Robin to cross her arms, the two ready to fight.

But then it all happened so fast, the next Blueno was standing there, before appearing right in front of Luffy, foot already smashed in his gut. Luffy coughed in pain before being sent flying back and crashing into ground, shaking it in the process and a smoke cloud surrounding him.

"Luffy!" Robin yelled out in fear.

Before she could do anything, Kalifa appeared before her with her leg up, ready to strike. Robin barely had enough time to react to it, rolling to the side, the kick slamming into the ground, cracking it at the same time.

Meanwhile, Luffy had just gotten back up as the captain rubbed his stomach in pain which shouldn't have been possible. From what he knew, blunt attacks like that shouldn't have hurt so why was it that it did now?

He couldn't think much on it as Luffy looked on in horror, seeing Iceburg's Secretary attacking Robin who was just barely dodging.

"LEAVE ROBIN ALONE!" Luffy screamed in anger.

Luffy was quick to get up and tried to get to her, but Blueno once again appeared in front of him, landing a hard kick to the side of his face. He went flying back once more, until Blueno appeared above his airborne body and landed another hard kick into his gut, slamming him once more into the ground.

Robin saw what happened and screamed in terror, "LUFFY!"

It was the worst mistake she could've done as Kalifa took advantage of the distraction, landing a hard kick, sending the Archaeologist flying and impacting into the wall of a building.

She could only scream in pain, before her voice was cut short, the heel of Kalifa's shoe on her neck, effectively holding her in the air and her legs dangling.

Kalifa stated the obvious by taunting her, "You should never take your eyes off your opponent."

Robin tried to retaliate, crossing her arms, "C-Cien Flue-"

She choked in pain as Kalifa pushed her foot more, choking the life out of her and releasing the air that was in her lungs. Lucci chuckled, watching in amusement over how weak Luffy was and how Robin attempted to escape in such a dire state.

"You should have just turned yourself in...but I guess that's just like you to be defiant Nico Robin." Lucci stated with a devilish smirk.

Luffy who just noticed Robin was in deep trouble, weakly tried to get up even through the immense pain he felt, "L-Leave...Robin...alone!"

Blueno appeared in front of the struggling Captain, slightly surprised he could still move, "Oh, you're tougher than I expected."

The CP9 member brought his hand, bringing his index finger back, "Looks like I'll have to kill you now before you become-"

"Poitrine Shoot!" Sanji's voice yelled out.

The agent was suddenly met with a kick into his chest, before being barraged by more kicks until the last kick sent him flying away from Luffy, before landing beside Lucci. Both Kalifa and Lucci looked a little surprise for what just happened, Robin was able to open an eye to see what was going on, but then the voice of Aokiji followed soon after Sanji's.

"Peasent Beak!" Aokiji yelled out.

A Bird of ice went flying where Kalifa held Robin which forced to dodge out of the way, the attack passing by the two as Robin landed on the ground, coughing as the air came back to her.

This time, the two agents looked in shock, their attention to the ship as now standing in front of the downed Luffy was Zoro, Nami, Chopper, Sanji and Aokiji.

Being the man he was, Sanji quickly jumped to Robin's aid, helping her up, regaining herself from earlier, "Are you alright Robin-chan?"

Robin coughed a bit more, but nodded, "Y-Yes, thank you Cook-san."

The cook nodded back, turning his attention to the CP9 agents, Blueno getting back up after the attack.

Lucci stated the obvious to him, "You let your guard down in taking too long to finish him."

"Sorry...won't happen again," Blueno replied, cracking his neck as he stood up.

Sanji looked on surprised over the fact that the agent was unfazed from his Poitrine Shoot, My attack did nothing?!

Kalifa sighed as their situation seemed to have turned for the worse, "Seems like we might be in some trouble."

Lucci smiled, "That just makes things less boring, Kalifa, you take the animal and the orange haired girl, Blueno, you take on Nico Robin and the blonde."

Blueno looked back, "And you?"

A devilish smirk showed, "I'll take on the ex-Admiral, the Straw Hat kid and the swordsmen."

Lucci slowly walked forward before his body began to shift and in front of everyone's eyes began to change. The agent grew large, a yellow fur forming on his skin alongside black spots, feet turned into paws and his hands now donned with claws.

Everyone besides Aokiji looked on in shock over the new look Lucci had, Nami stating the obvious, "H-He just changed into some kind of animal!"

Chopper was very shocked at the sight, "H-HE'S AN ANIMAL LIKE ME!?"

Aokiji quickly informed them to not let the shock last long, "No, he ate a Devil Fruit, more specifically he ate a Zoan Devil Fruit which any person that eats it will be able to transform into an animal of some kind."

"Transform? Just like I do when I use my other forms!" Chopper said in surprise, now knowing how Lucci could turn into an animal.

Lucci took one more step, before he stated out his Devil Fruit, "I ate the Neko Neko no Mi which allows me to turn into a Leopard and it enhances my abilities to it's peak."

A devilish cocky smirk showed, turning his attention to Aokiji, "Not even your Hie Hie no Mi can match up with my speed now...Ex-Admiral Aokiji!"

At the news of Aokiji being an Admiral, everyone's reaction was obvious besides Robin who knew since she was a child, "HE'S AN ADMIRAL!?"

Speaking of the Ex-Admiral, eyes widened in surprise for a second, before sighing, "Looks like I was found out."

Much to the surprise of the agents, Aokiji simply shrugged his shoulders, "Oh well, looks like that makes me a pirate and if I means I can protect Robin without having to worry about the damn Government telling me what to do."

His features soon turned serious, smoke coming off of him as Ice began to surround him, "So unless you want Robin, you're going to have to go through me."

This only seemed to excite the leopard man, his devilish smirk growing even more, "Yes, show me what an Admiral can do so I can spill your blood to satisfy my hunger for a good fight!"

Thus everyone prompted into a battle stance with Kalifa facing Nami and Chopper, the navigator with her staff out and Chopper in his human, Blueno facing Sanji and Robin, the Archaeologist with her arms up in a cross and the Cook with his leg up and finally Lucci facing off Aokiji, Luffy and Zoro, the swordsmen having all his swords out, the captain having the most serious look he ever had and the Ex-Admiral slowly being covered Ice, turning the temperature to Antarctica levels of cold.

Suddenly however, a figure had come from above out of nowhere, landing in front of the three staring down Lucci much to the Surprise of the others. He donned a black tight suit that was surrounded by silver metal that acted as armor with black boots to finish his look besides his spiky black hair that went up.

Lucci looked on confused, "Who the hell are you?"

The man simply smirked, "To put it simply, I'm here to stop you from taking Nico Robin."

Luffy and Zoro looked on serious, knowing that this guy must've been up to something if he knew about Robin. Aokiji on the other hand was absolutely shocked, not having seen him in so long!

"O-Ozaki!? Is that you!?" Aokiji said in shock.

The man named Ozaki looked back with a smile, "It's been a while, Admiral Aokiji."
