The two walked past the corridor into the the throne room, Hans was regaly walking and Fred guarded him. It felt silly really, to Frederick, he was as well trained, if not better trained than him. He didn't need a guard, if something arose then he knew that His lord would hold up in a fight, after all, he held himself up against the evil siren after all, not to mention Jet.

They walked silently into the room, their footsteps echoing across the empty halls. It had been such a long time since anyone had intended to use the throne.

Hans eyed the place, it was clean and surprisingly simple. Compared to the rest of the castle; There were no flowers here, no signs of life or use, except for the cleanliness.

Fred placed his hands behind his back, walking alongside his Lord, the tension still very high.

Hans suddenly stopped, facing the throne, his eyes almost glimmering. "How long has it been since the throne was last used?" The king rose a brow and turned to face the royal guard.

"I believe that Queen Elsa has only used it once since her father passed. As you can see," his eyes went over the room, "it's not as well treated as other rooms."

There was a small dilemma before the king began to walk across the tiles and up into the steps. Upon reaching the throne he turned back to Fred.

"I will wait for my Queen..."

The gentle rise and fall of the royal vessel calmed the queens heart. They had finally arrived at the port unharmed. The weather had not been so gracious to them, if anything had kept them alive was only because queen Elsa had soften up the tremendous thunderstorm they had encountered. Arendelle was nearing the beginning of the rain season, and it bravely showed in its waters.

The air warm still, the humidity high, yet the scenery filled the queen with great joy. She was finally home and now complete. Her husband awaited her a the end of the docks, and her daughter ran across the board in order to reach him. She couldn't help the smile that spread across her lips. Finally everything was falling into place. There was no more sirens, or love potions, or Jet, or worried Anna's, or suitors that could get in her way of being happy. And she owed everything to a certain butler.

Her eyes went forward, and she could see her small daughter running into her handsome husbands arms. The laughter coming from Gretel and the beaming smile Hans had on his mouth showed. It seemed as if happiness was free he only thing that had come from the troubles of everything.

Elsa elegantly walked down the board, her heels clocking against the wood. She was wearing a dress fit for her title, it was white, and almost angelic, her hair was let loose from its braid, she was as beautiful as she was dangerous. There was a certain glow to her. It was almost as if there was something different about her.

Hans looked up to her royal highness. Holding his daughter at his hip. "Welcome home, queen Elsa."

There was a small smirk on his face, and the queen couldn't help but blush. She could see it in his eyes his desire for her. He was a tease.

"Thank you, Hans." He greeted her by grabbing her hand and helping her jump the last step of the board onto the dock. "Princess Anna is waiting for us, she set up a small feast for your arrival." Gretel clung onto her papa as if she was afraid that if she let go she would wake up into a fatherless life.

"Papa!" Elsa's eyes grew wide, they had agreed that Elsa would give him the news, so not to worry him. But alas Gretel was a child and she was a happy one too, Elsa knew better than to try and stop her and spoil her fun.

"Mama is having a baby..." the child giggled as her papa's eyes went wide, blinking unbelievably slowly. "What!?"

He faced his wife and bit his lip, so that was her glow. "Well more reasons to celebrate."

Gretel pouted, "I think it's going to be a boy."

Hans held onto his wife's hand a soft smile on his face. He could not believe that everything was so perfect now. It seemed surreal to him.

They sat at the head of the table. The council members rejoicing as they celebrated the return of the queen. Anna sat right next to her sister and a grumpy Agnaar did so too. He wasn't quite fond of the so called princess, in fact he hadn't even heard of her. And now they lied saying she was his aunt Elsa's daughter.

When he heard that she shared her mother's powers, his feelings worsened.

Kristoff was away at another small table. He had requested to sit alone, claiming he had felt too sick to be around people. But again to his dismay, Anna had quickly arranged a seating arrangement for him, so 'he would still be with them'.

Hans shared his stories of how he had been the one to originally save the queen from the siren. And how things had come to be. Up to Jet Rhyus and his evil ways. He shared for the first time everything the two had gone through, thanks to the liquor that had been served to him in excess.

He shared the story of the great madame and her wicked forest of wishes. How he had been informed by other guards of the wicked woman in the forest. Not knowing that he had intrigued the two royal children sitting at the table with them.

Elsa also shared some stories. Anna had been excited and along with her son requested she show them her beautiful powers.

"If you have powers like my aunt, why don't you also make snow?" Agnaar crossed his arms in mockery to the child.

Gretel refused to look his way, her cheeks flushing. "I don't have to show you my powers if I don't want to, kid."

The little prince rose a brow, obviously not entertained by his 'cousins' behaviour. "I think you don't have them and that's why you won't show them."

Gretel shook her head and took in a deep breath, her hands falling deep inside the skirt of her dress.

"That's what I thought." Prince Agnaar smiled smugly and went on to listen to the conversations the adults were having.

It was obvious to not only the children but to everyone else that King Hans had had enough to drink for one day. It was also obvious to everyone that he was not a heavy drinker. For he was flushing and almost incoherently speaking.

"My queen, I desire to take you to my chambers." He smiled haughtily, "I love you."

Anna couldn't help a giggle and she shook her head. Her big belly looking quite ridiculous as she stood.

"Elsa, I suggest you help him to bed. We will have more time in the morning to catch up on everything. I'm very happy that you returned safe."

There was a small nod from the queen and she stood to help her husband walk to their room.

Kristoff sat silently watching as queen Elsa walked with her husband away into the darkness of the castle hallway. The gathering had deliberately ended, and now his small family was the only one that was left. He could see his wife smile contentedly at her sister and her family, for Gretel walked besides them.

He cleared his throat and Anna shook her head as she heard him. "Well... that was unexpected of Hans, wasn't it?"

She giggled as her son scrunched his nose disapproving of his 'uncles' behavior.

"He was just happy for Elsa's return." The ice harvester looked at the princess and shook his head.

"Oh c'mon Kristoff," Anna walked up to her husband and smiled softly, "Elsa's back, everything is back to normal. We just got extra additions to the family."

The blonde sighed, "I just wish it didn't have to be Hans."

Anna pulled close to him and pinched her lips together. "Its what makes my sister happy... even if I don't like it either... I have to respect her decision, Kristoff." She searched for his eyes, "because if I fight her decision, I will lose her." She smiled at him and searched his face.

Kristoff sighed again and grabbed onto her hands. "I'm sorry for being such a brute."

She smiled and helped him stand from his sitting position, "apology accepted." She smiled that beautiful smile of hers and she grabbed onto his hand. "C'mon Agnaar, bedtime."
