Soft golden rays of sunlight poured into the room as I lazily opened my eyes. Sitting up slowly I glance around the room before stretching. It was a few days after the trial and the Cullen Clan was disbanded. I rolled my shoulders back before making my way to the bathroom connected to my room. It was an uncomfortable thing to think about but I was able to distract myself during the day and think about it at night. Sighing I begin to get ready for the day in a slow rhythm. By the time I was done with my morning routine I was greeted by Angela at the door. Rubbing my eyes I exit the bedroom and walk with Angela to the dining room. We didn't make any conversation simply because we didn't see the need to. It was a nice silence. But the silence didn't last for long as my thoughts began to travel even throughout breakfast. I don't know why I was so hung up on Edward, it was stupid really. Maybe because a part of me still loves him. He was my first love, but then again he was a terrible boyfriend. Maybe that's why I'm scared of opening up to the Queen's. I had realized that we were mates after the trial. It was uncomfortable after that for me but thankfully they kept their distance and didn't try to push me. After breakfast I made my way to the library, thankfully it was a straight shot back from the kitchens west door.

The walk was short and dull as the silence was starting to make me uncomfortable. Picking up my pace I make it through the library doors but pause soon after I entered. Sitting at one of the couches was none other than Didyme. Biting back the sigh that threatened to escape me I made my way over to the overstuffed chair where I had left the book I was reading. It was surprisingly peaceful as I read. Didyme didn't seem to want to talk and I was perfectly fine with that. Unfortunately, the relaxing atmosphere was ruined as Jane came rushing in asking for Didyme. For someone with not a lot of emotion in her face, it was apparent to me that something had happened. Putting down my book I stood up and walked over to them, but was stopped by another vampire, Heidi I believe. I watched as Jane escorted Didyme out, feeling a profound loss in my heart. Turning to Heidi I raise an eyebrow and cross my arms. For a vampire, she seemed to fidget a bunch. Letting out a deep sigh Heidi leads me out of the library, back to my bedroom. We made it to my room in a timely manner. Surprisingly Angela was in my room as well. I gave her a quick before sitting on the bed. Heidi let out a sigh before telling us what was happening.

"There's not much that I know, but what I can tell you is that someone is trying to overthrow the Volturi."

Once the silence felt like it was too much, did Athenadora speak. It was a low gruntal response to what was spoken just moments ago.

"What the fuck do you mean someone is trying to overthrow the Volturi?"

A/N: wah sorry guys it's been a really bad time, idk what happened but I lost all motivation, but I will finish this no matter how long it takes, this one is super short, just a filler. Days like these are scary. I still have to work even though college is closed. But I want to continue this.
