Hey Baby!
Mummy and gran just left to go shopping for some last minute items for you. You'll be here any day now and I can't wait. Any time mummy moves or breathes, I am feeling jumpy thinking it's time. I've never been more excited about anything as much as I am about your arrival. Poor mummy...what are you doing to her, love? She looks the same from the back but has the cutest bump. I can't stop touching your little cocoon or resting my head on you. I can tell mummy is feeling very uncomfortable and her back is hurting. Don't tell mummy I told you this, but high five on making mummy's breasts look so amazing. Shhh. Also, don't tell her that I bought her a diamond necklace for the day you are born.
You can't imagine how badly I feel that I can't take mummy's shoes off of her tired feet and give her a proper foot massage to relieve her tension. All as, even though she is carrying you in her beautiful body, she still has to do everything for me.
I sometimes dream about you. In my dreams, I can walk. I can hold you. I can hold mummy. I can cook for you two. I can build your toys and read to you normally. I can give you and mummy a piggy back ride. I won't let the fact that I can't do those things bring me down. You and mummy bring me so much happiness, and I promise to find a way to work around my deficiencies. Just know how much you are loved.
Oh sweetie, granny Camilla is probably dragging your mum from store to store making her buy things we don't even need. Mummy is so patient. You and I are so beyond lucky.
Hurry up and come, princess.
Love, Daddy
