AN: This is a sequel to my story Black Roses and inspired by a review left on said story.

Chat was unusually chipper when Ladybug met him for patrol. His posture radiated happiness and he couldn't keep a grin off his face.

"Well someone is feeling happy today," Ladybug observed dryly as Chat landed in front of her with a grin on his face.

"Well you know how I told you about that girl I had fallen for?" Chat asked with a grin that threatened to split his face in two. "I actually told her who I was," he paused for a moment. "Well not this obviously. But now she knows how I feel and..." Chat trailed off, a slightly dreamy look on his face.

"That's nice," Ladybug said with a slightly downcast look as she reflected on her own joke of a love life. "I'm glad some of us are having some luck."

"Did my Lady suffer some heartbreak?" he asked with a hint of concern. (And a slight smile. He couldn't keep it away really)

"Well…" Ladybug hesitated. "It's nothing really. Just…there's a boy that I really like in my normal life and…he asked out another girl today."

"Oh?"

"Well yeah. I mean…she's a nice girl and…well it is his choice I suppose…" Ladybug let her words trail off, before turning and facing Chat with a smile. "Look, why don't you tell me about the girl you like. How did you finally ask her out?"

Chat looked at Ladybug dubiously, but answered none the less.

"Well…you know how I've been playing the role of secret admirer, leaving a signature rose whenever I leave her a gift?" Ladybug nodded and Chat continued. "Well today I decided to ask her out with a huge bouquet of roses. A huge bouquet of these black roses that I've been lea-my Lady, are you okay?"

Ladybug had abruptly turned pale and let out a sudden squeak of surprise.

"I'm fine," she squeaked "It's just…a very strange coincidence, that's all."

"Are you sure? Because you've gone very pale," Chat said and Ladybug shook her head. Chat must have been talking about ANOTHER lucky girl who liked black roses. After all, Juleka was hardly the only Goth in Paris. After all, surely Marinette would KNOW if it was Adrien under the mask, wouldn't she?

"I'm fine…just…just surprised," she paused and smiled at Chat. "Black roses Chat? I would have thought a romantic like you would have given her normal roses."

Chat chuckled and a dreamy look came over his face.

"Yeah, well I thought that normal roses would be cute, but…Juleka really likes black and-"

"ADRIEN!?"

"Milady?" Chat said questioningly, his face shocked. "You know…I mean, why did you…?"

"YOU'RE ADRIEN AGRESTE!?" Ladybug screamed and Chat stared at her with wide eyes.

"IHAVETOGOSORRY!" she shouted as she suddenly threw her yo-yo and swung away, leaving a very puzzled Chat.

"What was that about?" he asked nobody in particular as Ladybug disappeared into the distance.
