"I-Is this truly necessary Shepard?"

"Yes, Garrus we need a new shield generator relay. You know the guys in engineering have been ragging on me for a new one." Shepard explained amusedly, watching as the Turian struggled with the large box in his arms.

"I know that, I meant why do I have to carry it?" He groaned as his arms began to grow even more sore. After another minute of walking, he placed it down on a nearby bench, catching his breath. "Why can't Grunt carry it..?"

"What, the big, strong, Turian can't carry a simple ship part?" Shepard teased lightly, nudging Garrus with her elbow. He simply rolled his eyes.

"No, it's the fact that the...'big, strong Turian' is not as strong as a young, 400 pound Krogan is. So excuse me for being concerned about my back." He shot back, only slightly joking. Shepard gave him an even glance, then looked over at Grunt who was marveling at a fountain they had stopped by.

"Well... I'll make him carry the extra flux capacitor." She smirked when the Turian groaned in annoyance, and heafted the box up again continuing on to the ship.

Eventually, once they made it to the Normandy, Garrus placed his burden down in the cargo bay, shoulders slumping in relief. He looked over at two of the crew members who came over to take the giant box. He winced as the small blonde woman tried to lift it and ended up falling on her behind.

"Uh, yeah be careful.." he told them wearily, watching as they struggled with it. Finally an annoyed snort came from behind them, Wrex coming into view a moment later; heftying the large box up with ease.

"Honestly Shepard, could've just got me or the younging there to lift this stuff."

Garrus turned to Shepard with a slight glare, she simply shrugged in response. The Turian muttered something under his breath before bumping his shoulder against Shepard's as he passed.

"I'm off to do some calibrations, if you need me you know where I'll be..And Shepard" He placed a hand on her shoulder smirking a little at her confused expression. "Next time, just let the Krogan do it, please."

Shepard laughed airily as he sauntered away to his station. She turned to Grunt on her way out the door.

"Next time you get lifting duty, Bud."

The Krogan laughed and made a small affirmative noise, bouncing on his heels slightly.

"Can't wait, I could use a slight workout... Maybe after I lift it I'll hit the gym."

Shepard snorted in amusement before walking off to the Galaxy map, she did have a job to do after all. This time however, the Galaxy wasn't in emminat danger, she just had more parts to get engineering.

She needed some minor fuses for the stealth systems, hopefully they'd be pocket sized this time.
