A/N So I guess I'm going to be one of those people who strings you along and then doesn't post for literally over a year...and if you'll accept my apologies, I will readily accept your forgiveness! I've actually had half of this chapter written for months, but I just finished it and wanted to post it, so there may be more mistakes than normal.

Enjoy, and I hope you are all safe and well!

Standing in front of her dorm room door, Georgia took her keys out of her coat pocket, but the soft, cotton gloves on her hands weakened her grip and they fell. The keys clunked on the hallway floor and then tinked together when Georgia picked them up. The low, metal 'thunk' and the feel of the key lock giving way, let her know she could turn the handle the rest of the way and open the door. Her hand reflexively went up to the light switch, but stopped short in surprise. Pure glee took over Georgia's initially neutral face as she took in the sight before her. Logan and Louise were together in the room. Logan was picking up a CD case off of the bed, and Louise was looking at her computer screen – scrolling through what appeared to be a playlist. "How cute are these two!?" Georgia thought.

"Well heeeey!" she greeted Logan excitedly. "I didn't expect to see you! What a very pleasant surprise." At the word "very" she shot a wink over at Louise, but it went unreceived since Louise had yet to turn around. "What are you guys up to? Am I interrupting anything?" Georgia asked, innocently unaware of what had just transpired.

A string of coughs erupted from Logan. Georgia watched him with concern as he continued to cough, pulling his cupped hand up and over his mouth. She noticed him glance at Louise and instantly duck his head down while continuing to cough. She looked over to Louise.

"Is he okay?" she asked, but Louise didn't offer anything either. She simply shrugged her shoulders.

"Okaaay….Goodness, Logan! Here, have some water," and as she said it, she walked over to their mini fridge and grabbed a bottle. Louise had turned away, so Georgia handed the bottle over to the struggling Logan. He accepted it and took a long drink. Calming down finally, he addressed Georgia.

"Thanks," two small coughs escaped his lips, "I uh, choked on my spit…"

"Ah…" Georgia replied simply. She definitely had interrupted something, and Louise wouldn't pause an argument just for her, so it must have been something else - potentially something good. Georgia had developed a few survival tips for living copasetic with Louise. One was, that whenever possible, it was good to let Louise think she was winning and in control. So Georgia played it off like she believed the cover they were fabricating very obviously on the fly.

"So just hanging out? Oh, is that the new CD or a different one?" she addressed Louise. "You know I usually have supper with Max on Tuesdays, but he thinks he's getting a cold," she continued to ramble, "but it's cool that you guys are here!" As she spoke her eyes passed back and forth between Logan and Louise, searching for clues. Logan's coughing had stopped and he was feigning interest in what she'd been saying. Louise, on the other hand, looked very unsettled and was communicatively nodding while still looking away from both her and Logan. With the end of her explanation, the quiet grew palpable. She looked around the room and then noticed all of the new items on her bed.

"Oh! You went shopping. Did both of you go?" she asked trying to draw them out of whatever 'awkward' they were trapped in. Logan was the first to respond.

"Yeah. Uh, she said you guys needed coffee. So we went to the store to pick up some stuff. Just a couple of things…like coffee. And then I only came up to help her carry everything. Actually, now that that's done, I should probably head out." Louise's gaze finally turned to Logan and saw him eyeing her with his eyebrows up in a "what should I do?" questioning expression.

"Yeah! Thanks for your help. See ya' later!" Louise quickly added and stood up from her chair to head to the door.

"Wait! Oh you don't have to go now. You're not leaving because of me, are you?" Georgia interjected.

"No! no, I just-" Logan began.

"He just has other stuff to do!" Louise said.

"Ok. Are you sure? I mean, I could just go down and have supper by myself if you wanted more privacy. Or you both could come too!"

"No!"

"No!" came the replies from both addressees. Logan continued before Louise could. "I really do have some other things to do yet today. But thanks for the invite! I'll uh, see ya' later!" Logan walked toward Louise and the door, but his body lagged ever so slightly when he reached past her for the door handle. In that briefest of pauses, he made shy eye contact with her and whispered a struggled, "bye" before opening the door and exiting the room. As he stepped out into the hallway he was torn. He wanted to lean against the wall and attempt to eavesdrop. He also wanted a chance to talk to Louise. But he also wanted to get as far away from Louise as physically possible. Perhaps distance would break the spell he was under, so he began walking down the hall toward the stairs.

On the other side of that wall, Louise was struggling with similar thoughts. On one hand, she wanted desperately to know what Logan was thinking. But she also wanted to bury herself under a pile of rocks, slowly decay into nothingness, and let the embarrassment and confusion fade away along with her physical body. But then there was this small, yet frustratingly persistent part of her that wanted to kick Georgia out, drag Logan back to that room, and continue what she'd started. Whether fortunately or unfortunately, she wouldn't need to make any decisions because Georgia took control of the scenario.

Georgia knew that her next move could very well determine how Louise proceeded with her revenge plan. If she teased, Louise could call it quits. If she was too nonchalant, Louise would be suspicious. She'd have to be just right.

Her words came out rushed and excited, "This is great! You guys spending time together definitely gets you closer to your goal. And going shopping is such a chill way to do things. But then it also gives you an excuse for him to come up and hang out. Did you do anything else? Were you listening to that CD? You gotta give me some details!" Georgia stopped to allow Louise a chance to reply. A moment passed. Another.

"Louise?"

Finally Louise turned her head to Georgia and realized she was supposed to be answering some sort of question.

"Oh, uh. So we met at the library and looked at comic books. Then went to the store. Saw a classmate. Came back here to bring stuff up. And then listened to a CD. Nothing too eventful, I'd say." Louise could feel the hamster in her head start to pick up speed in its wheel.

"How do you think your progress is going with him? Is the plan still working?"

"You know what, Curious George? I think it is. I reeeeally think it is." Georgia noticed a change in her demeanor. Louise was recovering from whatever had happened with Logan, and it seemed that bringing up the masterplan had been a good idea on Georgia's part.

"Remember, Lou….this is just a game, he's my opponent, I'm out to crush him. Getting a little antsy in the pantsy is a mistake I won't make again. But he did seem to like it. Maybe I am making a lot of progress. I wonder what Logan was thinking…" her expression turned distant and the subtle change wasn't missed by her roommate.

"Hey Louise?" Georgia asked. "Do you think you should call him up and have supper with him? Doesn't he have to leave tomorrow?"

Eyes wide. "CRAP. Is it tomorrow?" She sifted through the ridiculous number of events that had transpired in just the past few days. "Movie, Monday was my class, but he had a meeting, No! That got cancelled…is it tomorrow?" Her hands moved of their own accord and quickly grabbed her phone off of the desk. Before her brain could catch up, a text message had been sent.

Louise sucked in a small gasp's worth of air and made an "oh no, what did I just do?" sound. She'd sent a message asking when he was leaving. That wasn't a problem in and of itself, but she'd made contact with him….so soon after what had just happened… She felt…unstable. One second she was proud of the trap she was setting and how well he was falling into it, and then the following moments would be riddled with sexual frustration and embarrassment, confusion, and other unidentifiable feelings. When Georgia had mentioned him leaving, her heart missed one of its beats and her stomach forgot which way was up.

Her phone buzzed.

"Either tomorrow night or early Thursday." Sender: Mission Breakup

Just one more day. She had classes in the morning, but she could do lunch with him. Maybe spend some time in the afternoon.

"So why don't you have supper with him tonight too?" Georgia's voice cut in.

"Mmm…" Louise didn't feel confident enough to spend any more time with him that evening, and certainly not in front of Georgia. She just needed to end today and restart tomorrow. "Remember he said he has stuff to do? And I do too. I've got homework for tomorrow. I am hungry though. Ma' stomach's a grumblin'. Want to go eat?"

It was enough for Georgia to see Louise so affected by Logan, so she let it drop. The girls adopted their normal banter and interaction. Supper passed uneventfully and the two gave their focus to their own tasks when they returned to their room.

"When do you leave?"

The message had startled him. His car was purring gently and there was a slight fog forming on the windshield from the heat being on. There he was, still parked in the dorm building's parking lot, just waiting to see if she'd text or call him. He'd taken the time to calm his thoughts, but more than that, he was actually hoping she'd ask if they could go somewhere to talk, or if he could go back up to her room, and waiting there would save him the trip. This message gave no allusion to that happening.

"Either tomorrow night or early Thursday." He sent back.

Then he waited. A few minutes passed. He turned on the radio. After a few songs, he checked his phone. He hadn't missed a message. "Well, Georgia's probably hounding her so she might not be able to respond right away…" After 23 minutes, Logan shifted the car into reverse, and backing out of the parking spot, headed back to the hotel.

The drive lasted only as long as his mind gave it notice – which meant that since his thoughts were being consumed by Louise, he didn't even know how he got back to the hotel. The elevator dinged loudly, the hallway carpet muffled his steps, the door ca-chunked! as it closed and locked automatically. After shedding his coat and shoes, Logan plopped onto the overly soft bed and closed his eyes. He knew what inevitably came next.

The replay.

His brain's inability to discard any memories including Louise was really starting to get to him. This time, however, he decided to welcome the replay. He wasn't going to fight it. With his eyes still shut, he relaxed his muscles, and mentally back-tracked to when they'd gone up to her room. Initially, he wasn't planning on anything like what had happened to…uh happen. He just liked teasing her, but when she retaliated…and that whisper? Directly in his ear and with that malicious grin she shot him? "Uhhhhn" he groaned. So he'd thought dishing it back again would be a good idea. Actually, he'd thought about a peck on the lips, but the look on her face when he closed in made him think it'd be too much. He didn't want another fight. Brushing his lips next to hers and kissing her cheek was good enough.

He gulped.

"She really…..I mean I didn't imagine any of it, did I? She really did k…kiss me…" Logan thought as he subconsciously bit his bottom lip. Then his legs felt warm as he remembered her straddling him. His neck felt hot when he remembered her rummaging her fingers through his hair, greedy and desperate. His chest started to burn as he focused on the feeling of pulling her body tight, up against his. And then his…

"Ahhh man," he groaned again. Logan furrowed his eyebrows in frustration and with a sigh, hopped off of the bed. His body straightened into a plank and he dropped down onto the floor to do some pushups. Jumping jacks. Jogging in place. Back to jumping jacks. After a few more pushups, Logan felt the tension ease from his body.

He stood there in the middle of the room in a half slouch with his hands resting on his hips. "So…I guess I gotta decide. Is Louise Belcher what I want? Eh, I mean, yeah, she is…but I guess I'm asking for how long? Do I want her just cuz' she's fun and I'm here? Or do I want her longer than that. Do I like her more than that?"

"I leave tomorrow. Guess I'll find out if I miss her when she's not around," and with that, Logan had made his decision – if he found himself missing her when he left, and not just for the first few days after going home just because he was bored or something, but really missing her – then he'd know.

Darkness sank into the room once Louise clicked off her desk lamp. She felt hidden away by the lack of light and tucked herself down into her bedding. The bad thing about darkness though, is it always makes your thoughts sound louder. Louise was worried that she was thinking so loudly, that she'd wake up the whole hallway. And of course she couldn't think about normal things like tormenting Georgia or pranking a teacher…nope. It was all just still Logan. Logan logan logan. His name repeated itself over enough times that it lost its meaning. Logan. It even slipped out from between her lips - "Logan" she whispered. Smashing her stuffed hat-bunny under her arm, she tossed her body sideways, now facing the wall. Curling her body up into a ball, she squeezed her eyes shut and smooshed her lips into a tight, flat line as if to leave no space for him anywhere. Yet there he was, pulling her close, tugging on her li- her eyes flashed open. "No. No no no. What was I thinking? How could I do that to LOGAN?...He's gotta think I'm crazy…I think I'm crazy! It's all cuz' he kept flirting with me. If he'd just stop then I wouldn't have gone to La La Logan Land!" Louise thought about when Georgia had reminded her of the whole revenge scheme. "Maybe this is enough. Is it? Maybe I can leave him sexually frustrated, not contact him at all tomorrow, then he leaves, wonders if something's wrong, I ignore any texts or calls, and that would be good enough? That's gotta be good enough, I think…"

Something about that kind of ending didn't settle well in her mind and an emotion kept pricking at the back of her throat. "Sure, sometimes it was fun hanging around him and him paying for stuff. Oo especially the free stuff - what a sucker…and I'll admit that earlier today, there were parts that were nice..."

"Louise, you've lost it," she whispered to herself. Then in an even softer whisper, "I can't do this anymore." She realized that no one had riled her up like this and that was a big problem – if she didn't stop now, it would be her losing, and not Logan. Louise also came to a decision that night. She decided to be done. Logan was taking too much of her time and energy and if she didn't make him regret all of this, it would be her regretting all of it. Enough was enough. She pulled her bunny up to her face and peered into the dark, finding the shadow of its face, and whispered "I guess, see ya later BushButt…"
