This one shot is a request from davidscrazy2345. It takes place in Season 5, a day after Twisted Reality Part 2.

CLOCKWORK'S VISION 3

Danny and Dayla were summoned by Clockwork that evening. It had been a day since they were returned back to their own dimension, thanks to Clockwork after Anandlok had sent them to different dimensions and realities.

Clockwork had asked them to come to his tower, however they weren't sure why. The only thing his message said was that there was something they needed to see.

Danny and Dayla landed at Clockwork's tower and walked into the time screens room, where the time ghost himself, but his face had a look of sadness and horror.

"Clockwork….are you alright?" Danny asked.

"You look like you've seen a ghost….or something other that we don't fight nearly every day." Dayla said.

"As you both are aware after many encounters, there are many different dimensions and alternate realities." Clockwork spoke. "As Master of Time, I not only can see the past, present, future and possible futures, but I can view these many different dimensions and realities. It's how I knew about that alternate dimension you first encountered and what you two would become when you were born."

He looked at a time screen and touched it with his staff as he continued to explain, "This morning, I saw something. Another alternate dimension about you two and what I saw…..it's better if you two see for yourself."

Danny and Dayla looked at the time screen and were immediately horrified by what they saw. It was them, their clothes were tattered and dirty, and they had multiple injuries from what looks to be relentless days of torture and experimentation. They were strapped down in their parents lab and their parents were….experimenting on them.

"STOP! / DON'T DO THIS! / WE'RE YOUR SON AND DAUGTHER!" Alternate Danny and Dayla pleaded as Alternate Jack and Maddie Fenton came closer with scalpels in their hands, ready to dissect them.

"SILENCE FREAKS! OUR CHILDREN ARE DEAD AND YOU ARE NOTHING BUT ECTOPLASMIC SCUMS!" Jack roared.

"Now be silent and try not to scream as we dissect you." Maddie said as they came closer.

Clockwork stopped it there, it was best not to show them anymore. He looked at Danny and Dayla and could see the horror and fear in their eyes.

"Clockwork…..is it still happening to us….I mean…..to them?" Danny asked, holding his sister tightly to them.

"No. Before the dissection could take place, Jazz, Andrew, Tucker and Sam of that dimension managed to rescue them and have taken them out of Amity Park. They're so afraid to return to what was once, they considered their home." Clockwork answered. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to show you this."

"It's fine Clockwork. We should've known that in one dimension, something like this could've happened." Dayla said, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"Will they return? Back to Amity Park I mean?" Danny asked.

"That choice will be up to them." Clockwork answered. "Sometimes, old wounds don't heal. But we make that decision all on our own. Whether to forgive and move on, or hold on to that anger and try and seek revenge."

Danny and Dayla returned home that night and saw Jack, Maddie, Danielle, Jazz and Dale sitting at the dinner table. All of them laughing, sharing stories and smiling as they ate dinner together.

Maddie saw them and smiled warmly at them as she said, "Welcome home you two. Dinner's ready."

Danny and Dayla smiled back at their mother and sat down at the dinner table. Jack then asked, "How did it go? At Clockwork's?"

"Oh it was fine. He just saw something and wanted to show us. It was another alternate dimension with us in it." Dayla answered.

"Really? What was it like?" Jazz asked.

Danny and Dayla paused, unsure if they should tell them. What they saw truly terrified them both still and both of them then decided that for now, it was best not to talk about it.

"What we saw….wasn't exactly what we expected." Dayla began. Danny then finished, "We will tell you….just not at the moment. We're still wrapping our heads around it ourselves."

They all nodded and Jack said, "Not to worry kids. Just tell us when you're ready."

They both nodded and smiled as the family continued to enjoy dinner.

Clockwork smiled at the scene of the family enjoying their moment together. He looked back at the screen of the alternate dimension and saw Alternate Danny and Dayla being comforted by Jazz, Sam, Tucker and Andrew as they stayed at a hotel for the night.

"I hope….your future gets better." Clockwork whispered.
