Chapter 9

The silence that befalls everyone was as awkward as it can be, especially with Naruto glaring at everyone with a murderous look in his eyes that made everyone twitch as they tried to back away from him last he ripped someone's head off. Kakashi looked at Naruto then at Sasuke who was sitting on one of the sofas away from everyone while Naruto standing in front of him acting like his guard, he glanced at the Kazekage to see him eying all of Konoha's Ninjas like he was about to crush them with his sand, which was not a reassuring thing not one a bit.

Tsunade, on the other hand, was sitting on one of the chairs in the middle of the groups acting as a peacekeeper, looking at her nails waiting for someone to snap, and she wasn't disappointed because not a minute later Sakura stood up from her chair making everyone look at her with a tense look on their faces when her chair ended up slamming into the floor from her harsh movement. "What is the meaning of this, Naruto?!" The Alpha screamed which made everyone fidget as they gaze at the dark look on Naruto's face, and then they returned their gaze toward Sakura waiting for what she was going to do next. "Why are you here? Why didn't you get back home and bring Sasuke-Kun with you as you promised? Instead, I find you here with Sasuke-Kun, who presents as an Omega and is pregnant!" Sakura panted after she finished her rant which made Naruto raise his brow at her like she was an idiot, which caused Sakura to snarl at that.

Naruto snorted at the other Alpha's weak snarl which made the female growl at the blond alternate between taking a step forward toward the Alpha and a step back every time her gaze fell on Sasuke who was gazing at them with a boring look. "What do you think is the meaning of this, Sakura?" Naruto said with a bored look gazing at the other Alpha who looked at him darkly, which only made Naruto smirk. "The reason why I'm here is that this is my village, my home, and Sasuke is my mate, of course, we will stay here." Naruto said in a slow voice like he was talking to a kid while waving his hand making the Alpha take a threatening step toward him only to flinch back when she saw Gaara taking a step toward her.

"But your home is Konoha, Naruto-Kun." Neji said gently which made Naruto look at the Omega, eyes soften a little bit, it had been decades since the last time saw the Omega since the Omega died saving him, Naruto blinks a little a face returning to his emotionless mask, he was really happy that Neji was fine, and the Alpha knew that the only reason for that was because Hiashi took the Omega under his protection, which saved the Omega from the worse of the council.

"That's where you are wrong, Neji-Kun." Tsunade said as she stood up and stretch herself making everyone look at the old Alpha who was giving them a harsh look. "Naruto here is a full Suna Ninja; he has no allegiance toward Konoha nor is he a Konoha citizen." Tsunade said which made everyone's eyes widen at that and look at Naruto with shock, some with betrayal, Naruto only rolled his eyes at them and continue to look at them with an emotionless look.

"Impossible!" Kakashi finally snapped as he took a step toward the Hokage, pleading with her that she was joking after all Naruto was a Konoha's Nin, so what the fuck did the Alpha meant by her words. "It's impossible for someone to change his allegiance to another village without being called a traitor!" Kakashi looked at Naruto and Sasuke to see the two of them looking at him with boring looks, which made the Alpha's hackle rise.

"Of course there is." It was Gaara who said that which made everyone turn to the Omega who was looking at them darkly like he was planning to kill them in their place. "You just have to get the Daimyos' agreement and signature to change someone's citizenship to another country, and then the country's Daimyo to grant you acceptance as a Shinobi of the said country, and the Fire Daimyo had given Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, and Uchiha Itachi his pardon and gave them the right to choose any village they wanted to live the rest of their lives in, and they did as you see now." That made everyone silent as they looked at Tsunade who nodded her head which made them hold their breaths in.

"But… Uchiha Itachi is a traitor, he killed his whole clan." Yamato said in confusion looking at Kakashi in confusion then he looked at Tsunade hoping that she will explain, at the time of the Uchihas' massacre, the Beta was freed only two days period by Kakashi who was twenty-five at that time, and he was twelve, so he doesn't know that much about what took a place.

"If by being a traitor you meant he was forced to kill his clan then sure, he was a traitor." Sasuke spat which made everyone look at the Omega considering that this was the first time the Omega have spoken since the entered the Kazekage's office, so for him to talk made every attention shift toward him.

"What do you mean?" Sai's monotone made Sasuke raise his brow and look at the Beta up and down before he narrows his eyes like he only now realizes something, which made Sai narrow his eyes at the harsh look he was at the end of by an Omega no less.

"Go and ask Danzo, I'm sure he will enjoy telling you about how he destroyed the Uchiha clan." Sasuke said as he stood up which made everyone look at the Omega who was having a little hard time standing up because of his pregnant belly. "I'm going home Naruto, Itachi is probably sick with worry by now." Sasuke said in Naruto's ear which made the Alpha nod his head gently and follow Sasuke to the door to ask someone to keep their eyes on his Omega.

A hand took a harsh grip of Naruto's arm which made the Alpha look at the person who touched him only to see Sakura glaring daggers at him with a fury deep in her eyes, everyone tensed at the scent of a raging Alpha, Naruto only blinked at the woman in boredom. "You took him away from me!" Sakura snarled as she took a threatening step toward Naruto making the Alpha narrow his eyes at her.

"I never promised you anything, I only promised to bring Sasuke home, and I did, he is home, not in that rotten village of yours." Naruto said as he pulled his arm from the Alpha's harsh grip which made the pink-haired woman growl and throws her fist planning to punch Naruto in the face, putting all of her Chakra in her fist, that made everyone tense and rushed to stop the Alpha, but to their shock, Naruto did nothing other than gripping her sailing fist and squeeze tightly which made the woman scream in pain as the sound of cracking was heard in the room, Naruto watch until Sakura fell on her knees and whined in pain before letting her hand go, seeing how the woman clutch her broken hand toward her chest made Naruto's lips twitch. "You didn't change even after all those years… you are still useless, deadweight..." Naruto said with a smirk, which made the woman growled, but flush in embarrassment when Sasuke chuckled a little and looked at her in amusement.

"Let's go Naruto." Sasuke said as he steered Naruto away from the female that was still kneeling on the ground. "Don't be late Gaara; Itachi wouldn't like his Omega being with Konoha's Ninjas more than necessary." Sasuke said throwing a harsh look toward Sai as he said those words which made the Beta narrow his eyes and turn his face to the redheaded Omega who hummed at that.

"Of course, don't exhaust yourself Sasuke it's not good for the baby." Gaara said looking at Naruto and Sasuke as they left the office before looking at Tsunade who nodded her head, which made both of the Kages turn to the Ninjas in the room with a harsh look.

"Now I advise you to sit your asses down, for we are going into a long discussion about how you are under no condition are going after Naruto, his mate, and Uchiha Itachi, and I'm sure it's going to be a long conversation… now, who have any question? No one? Good, now…" Tsunade said harshly which made everyone jump when she broke the desk with her fist and gaze at the Hokage that was glaring daggers at them...

The never felt this scared…

"So what are you planning to do, now that Konoha are here?" Itachi's question made Naruto blink and turn his eyes toward the older Alpha with a harsh look in his eyes, though the older Alpha didn't flinch to his credit, which only made Naruto huff at that a little and stands up from his seat on the roof's edge.

"Destroy Konoha of course." Naruto sneered which made Itachi press his lips tightly before he sighed through his nose, eyes looking at Naruto with a gently and concern look, though Naruto's heart gave a small bang at the disappointed he saw hidden deep in the older Alpha's eyes.

"I think… it's better if you let that goal go Naruto, I think both of us knows what hater can do, it births nothing but hater and revenge in its wake." Itachi said which made Naruto narrow his eyes as he power-walked toward Itachi until he stood before him with a harsh look on his face.

"So what, you want me to leave the village that hurt my mate alone, without punishment for what they did?" Naruto hissed his eyes flickering red for a second, which made Itachi hum and look at the stars shining which made Naruto take a deep breath trying to calm himself before he did something he will regret.

"You know…" Itachi started softly still looking at the stars which made Naruto turn his eyes to the other Alpha that was watching the stars with a fond look. "Years and years ago, I met your father, Shisui and me… or the third teammate had died that day, Hana was her name." Itachi took a deep breath trying to calm himself down. "I was like you, wanting revenge, wanting to make them pay… but your father… he gave me a piece of advice that will hunt me for the rest of my life… Forgiveness is the worst kind of revenge…" That caused Naruto to blink his eyes slowly and return his gaze to the stars.

"…why did you tell me this now, Itachi?" Naruto said which made Itachi shrug his shoulders and lower his gaze to look at Naruto who was looking at the ground now, with a dark look on his face.

"Just something to think about, I guess…" Itachi said which made the blond Alpha let out a sigh and return his gaze to the stars ignoring Itachi who returned to his room leaving Naruto all alone on the roof with his thoughts.

"Bastard…" Naruto muttered to himself after an hour, turning his head when he heard noises coming from the side. "It's better if you showed yourself." Naruto called out loud, giving a small smile when he saw Neji, Shikamaru, and Konohamaru, looking at Naruto, Konohamaru waving and start running toward Naruto with a huge grin on his face, that made Naruto relax a little as he accepted the younger Alpha's hug ruffling his hair after he was done which caused the young boy to laugh a little at that. "I guess you came here to hear my side of the story." Naruto said as he looked at Neji and Shikamaru who looked at each other than at Naruto while shrugging their shoulders.

"Whatever you all willing to share, Naruto-Kun…" Neji said with a small smile as he took his seat with Shikamaru and Konohamaru, which made Naruto suppress a smile that was about to take over his face, eyes swiping over his friends one by one until he took his seat next to them…

Something to think about… maybe…

In the end, Naruto didn't destroy Konoha, but he did give them a warning to not mess with him or any of the Uchiha if they didn't want war, that was said to Sai specifically, knowing that the Beta will end up telling Danzo about what took a place in Suna. Though Naruto made sure to send Danzo a pleasant surprise, and that was the information of his betrayal in Tsunade's hands giving the older Alpha enough information and evidence to finally imprison the Alpha and the Konoha's council's members with him, while sealing their Chakra forever, a farther investigation showed all of Konoha's Ninjas how rotten Danzo and the elders really were and now the villagers all demanded the council's members heads, Danzo's specifically… On the day of Danzo's execution, Naruto held the honor of beheading the Alpha, which gave the blond Alpha nothing but relief that he finally got rid of the person who hurt his mate and child.

Sakura was still bitter about what took a place, she couldn't stand being in the same room as Naruto without screaming her head off and trying to attack the Alpha, often getting hurt by her idiocy, hating that Naruto was the one who won Sasuke's heart and not her, though a strongly worded speech from Ino who had grown from her fangirling phase made Sakura stop in her tracks and reevaluating all of her actions, it had been years since the last time Naruto saw the woman, and hopefully a lot more before he sees her again.

Hinata… she surprisingly took the news of Naruto's mating well, she even congratulates Sasuke and Naruto on their mating wishing them all happiness, which made Naruto blink, what happened to Hinata to change her from the sweet girl she was now to the cruel person she was in the future? Naruto still blames Madara and the war the man brought, thankfully that war will never happen considering that Kaguya was forever sealed.

Kakashi, in the end, came to Naruto and apologized to him and Sasuke, telling them how sorry he was and that if he can, he wanted to be a part of his students' life, Naruto specifically considering that Naruto was the son of his father figure and mentor… Naruto knew how hard it was for Kakashi to conclude that everything he thought and believed in was wrong especially the village he spent all of his life standing up for, and Naruto understood, so in the end, Sasuke and Naruto accepted the man apologize, which made the man happy.

Obito and the rest of the Akatsuki were still out there, Naruto still met up with them every now and then, going to Ame to see Konan and Nagato every now and then exchanging stories and asking about each other as much as they can, Konan was finally happy with what's taking a place in her life, she finally gets a grip on her life, Nagato too, the Omega was finally getting the treatment he needed… Obito on the other hand finally agreed to meet Kakashi three years ago, which ended up with Kakashi weeping and crying as he held tightly into Obito apologizing over and over again… the two of them start courting each other, much to everyone's surprise, it seemed that the only reason Kakashi didn't seem interested in Rin was that he was already in love with Obito since he was a brat, a fact that always made Obito proud of.

Shikamaru, in the end, came to live in Suna as Konoha's ambassador, but Naruto knew that the only reason the Beta did that was that he wanted to be away from Konoha and their influence, and also Temari was in Suna, Naruto knew that the Beta had been fascinated with Gaara's sister since their Genin days, thankfully Temari shared the same thoughts as him, they are now engaged and are to be wed any day now... if only the two of them agreed on the date...

There was nothing to say about Neji and Konohamaru, other than the two of them are happy and well, Konohamaru still goes on about being the next Hokage and how he will become stronger than Naruto. As for Neji, the Omega starts working as an instructor in the academy, it seemed that the Shinobi life was too boring and predictable for him... Tenten and he are waiting their first child in a month from now, which made Naruto happy thinking about it.

Tsunade also ended up moving to Suna after naming Kakashi as the next Hokage, the older Alpha was happy to spend her days relaxing or butting heads with Chiyo, both of the Alphas too hard-headed to agree on anything considering that the two of them now works to improve Suna's hospitals. But what made Naruto happy was that Tsunade and Jiraiya finally stopped dancing around each other, the two of them finally mated two years ago, and were happy to be the glorified babysitters to Naruto and Sasuke's pups.

Itachi and Gaara did mate four years ago after three years of courting, which always made Sasuke tease her brother every time it was brought up, the two of them were happy and in love as ever, they were especially with their three years old pup Shinki who seemed to brighten everyone's day with his blabbering, beside Shinki was Menma's favorite.

And lastly, there was Naruto and Sasuke, after the Chunin exams ended, both of the mated pair were happy when their small pup was born… Naruto spent two hours crying as he held his son… his Menma... after all the years that passed…. Naruto can't say that his and Sasuke's life was perfect, after all, they have their ups and downs, but the two of them were happy and content with Sasuke working in the academy and Naruto as the Kazekage's advisor… life was good, it was boring sometimes, tiring sometimes, with a child that has endless energy to bother his parents day and night, but Naruto wouldn't have it any other way, content to live his life with Sasuke like this.

…and Naruto was never proud as he was when he and Sasuke added two other family members into their ever-growing family. Naruto smiled happily as he gazed at his son and daughter, his twins, Boruto, and Sarada… Naruto hummed a little as he rocked the two of them to sleep which made both of the pups let out a breath of content, making Naruto smile happily, as he left their room going to check on his six years old son Menma, shaking his head when he saw the covers thrown to the ground. After covering his son and kissing his forehead, Naruto returned to his room ready to go to sleep beside his mate, sighing happily as he held Sasuke tightly in his arms.

"You are late." Sasuke said which made Naruto let out a chuckle and kiss the back of Sasuke's head which made the Omega purr softly at that and turned in Naruto's arms to look at the Alpha who was gazing at Sasuke with so much love in his eyes. "Did the twins keep you up?" Sasuke asked as he snuggled to Naruto making the Alpha's hum and shake his head.

"No, the two of them were angels." Naruto said which made Sasuke give a small laugh at that letting out a content sigh as his mate surrounded him. "Thank you, Sasuke." Naruto said after a while of silence which made the Omega look at Naruto with an eyebrow rising like he was urging the Alpha to say what was on his mind. "Thank you for everything, for this amazing family, friends, and life… thank you for saving me from myself." Naruto said which get him a beautiful smile blooming on Sasuke's face.

"Idiot…" Sasuke said affectionately which made Naruto smile and looked at the Omega in amusement as the Omega landed to whisper something in his ear. "Thank you for keeping your promise, thank you for saving me." Sasuke smiled at Naruto's wide eyes as he said those words, eyes became glassy as he let out a sob and held tightly into Sasuke, letting out a wet laugh when the Omega gave a small chuckle, eyes glassy too as he ran his hand through Naruto's hair…

It seemed that they both saved each other in the end…

We finally reached the end of the fic! That's a relief if I saw any, the tragedy of writing a fanfic with me… I know where to start a fic, but not how to finish it.

Giving the story this ending is the best I can do… sorry.
