Back when the Land was at war, and all were fighting one another a group of around 160 people of vairing races grew tired of the constent fighting, having lost many of there loved ones, had manged to find onanother and decied, as there was no way any of THEM could stop the fighting, to simple leave it. Most had already taken all they had when they left what remaed of ther families or homes, several had managed to get carts, some had more, and other less. The groupe had no idea were to go, the whole of the land as far as they knew was in conflict, confilct that none of them wanted to be apart of anymore. One, a Snow elf who said they had been stolen and kept as a prize for many years before the fighting gave them a chance to escape, spoke of an underground laybrith that had once been in use, but was now left abanoded, the confest that it was far from here, and that the exacet loctaion was unknown to them, as well as the laypriths layout itsself.

They depated on if this was the right place to go, a place with no exact location that was maze that they had no knowlage of. Many feared they would wind up trapped, other feared getting their itself would be imposibul, and perhaps even worthless, as the fight could very well be there as well know. Still more wored about any beast that may call the place home, as they no longer wished to fight, and had no will to do so.

A man stepped up, and he spoke. He spoke about how most of them kept expresing no hope, but the fact that they were here, and not dead belled there belifes, if they had no hope they would have let themselves die long ago. How they said they no longer wished to fight, but how they would never fight for land or weth, for relighion or power, they would not seek out war, they would fight soly to defend eachother. If they wish for a new life, they would have to work for it, that it would not be an easy task, but if they were not willing, then that they should leave, and let the ones who wished to live in peace move forward.

No one left, and they moved forward, defending themselves as needed, taking what they could find and raiding the allready dead, as they moved, they noticed less and less fighting, but more beasts. No one died during there walk, no one did not have at lest basic fighting abilities, and most had more then that. Some were healers, and together they all shared the knowlage they had whilst other did not, and over the long slow jurney that all had basic trainning in most things.

They had reached the area Faire had said the lyaprinth was, and now must simply find it. The area was large however and it took many months before they found the entrices, and as was feard, it was now home to many beasts. Setting up camp around the entrece, trying to come up with a stratagy.

It was deced one healer and several of their strongest would take a rope and go in, clearing out the bests, and mapping the way.

It was more than a year later in the middle of Hearthfire That the Frounts, as they had come to be called, came excitedly racing out, hours before they were expected, beaming and smiling, joyes and breming with excitment, talking over one another, and being barly choherent.

It was not until Tasius, the man who had steped up to become the leader and the one to have made that spech so long ago steped forward that the full story could be heard.

The had found a large open room, with more then enough space for them to set up their own town. IT seemed solid and had one large stone piller in the center that rose all the way to the top. They had cleared out the beasts in there, and in the suronding tunneles and paths.

It was decied that Tasius and the members that had more knowlange in building and/or plants would go with the founts to explore the cavrin and see if it was visapul.

And it was.

It took years, many many year to make their own setelment, to find plats the grew in darkness, to find plant the glowed in the dark. Both of whitch were found further int he layprenthy. the travlers, the group that would go above ground, who had the most training in magic, worked on making the aream more then just a clearing, for fear of when more would come.

And they would come. They would eather use the land they had and force it to ruin, or someone whould step up as leader and end the fighting, resutling in a population incress, and in people going out to find, to take, more land.

The Travelers went to the forest and gather seeds and dug up small trees to being the back and start there own forest, they found a a river, and with work and determanation maneged to make a large deep creek run through there to be froest, they built a small bright to travel acroos, but made sure to make it as hidden as posibule.

The years past, there forset grew, and so did the creek, the fast moving water carving more as it flowed, Beast that they had found and trained were interduced to the froest, loyle to them, them would be a good garud, never mind the other creatures that had taken up resiedend it there ever growing and carfully mantaned forest.

More time passed, years n years. They had come to call their home Fredelighjem, and themselves Freds. They had grown much and Tasius had passed on, leaving his son, and then granddaughter, as the leader. Taina had been born in Fredelighjem, and had never known anything eles, as did many by this point, learning of the past from teaches and books that had been brought with them, or written after.

The only ones to leave were those with magical talent who were trained from a young age to be travelers.

Taina Had also been alowed to leave, once she became of age she was taken by the leader of the travels to learn the forest until she knew it aswell as her own home.

She was taken by the Frounts to learn the paths that were not used everyday, and to learn of the other two wasy out, and the traps that made them dangeruse.

It was her own great-great-great grandson Taavetti who found what would become there most scared of opbject during his own learning of the forest.

A strange unkown metel cube that was covered in runes. and it spoke to Taavetti, told him things about the world that he, or anyone eles in Fredelighjem whould know, and gave him warnings of things to come.

He was not the only one who could hear it, other too, could hear it as long as they held it.

It was a gift from the unkowns, given to them as reward for leaving the viloence and prosfering on there own.

It became the center of there univers, it gave them information that they otherwise whould never had learned, it warned them of attacks from beast and sweeps of illness, giving them time to prepare and react before anything could happen.

And as the years past, there was not a living member of the Fredelighjem Who did not trust and worship the Cude and the Unkown that had gifted it to them.

More time passed, and one day the Cube told them of a town being started up outside their forset, Near where the creek and turned back into a river and flowed ever on. It told them that they should watch them, and that in two years time they should still some of the males, just one or two, and bring them here to bring new blood to Fredelighjem.

And so they did, and every five years after that they would take two males, and the manged to build a reputaion for their forest as very dangerus, whitch did atrack adventer seekeres, but they could be killed, or if male and ver impressive, used to add new blood.

The Town of Vertwater was rightly terrified of the forest, and did not trespass, instead gathering wood and other things from the forest that had been there before them, turning it into ther town.

Indeed most of Fredelighjem had decied that the toan was a boon, something that could be used that they need not worry about. after all, even if they did try anthing, the Cube would warn them fisrt, as it alwasy did.

And storyes of war and no peace were only very old stories to the current people of Fredelighjem, warnings that they took to heart, but not something to ever really toch them.

Outsiders were not trusted, the cube had told them so, conferming what their ansesters left behind, but Outsiders could be usefull none the less.

And so life countenued on.

Becasue of the mix of races from the 160, the inter breeding and living in what is basiculy a cave they have changed into there own race, they simple conseder themselves Freds.

They all worship the Unkown, and the cube. This has become their religion.

Most members, because of the years underground are pale, borderline grey, but with the adding of new blood every 5 years, or from males that go into the forest, they have some members who have wildly different skin. You must also relize that all Travlers are tanner then the rest of Fredelighjem, as they -from a young age- Go above ground, Most Travelers are also from the same blood, as talent in magic is something you must have to be a Traveler.

The main clothes are a leather they make from the beasts the live in the east secter, as They are large, easy to kill, and breed quikly. This leather is raboed tightly around skin. Adding more to your outfit is alowed, but some have clothing that is for their group only.

The leader wears a special belt.

Members of the Frounts wear the skulls of their victories.

Members of Travlers wear lose, shirts of different cuts arond their legs, this can make it harder to see their legs, as well as trick the eye. They also leaves and flowers around their heads and shoulders and backs in a strang cloak form, this alwoes them to hide more easile in the forest.

Wearing shoes is not something they really do, some do wear shoes, but its rare. Most have hard calasus that protect their feet.
