"Family obligations will bite me in the ass." Betty sighed deeply.

Veronica wrapped her arms around Betty's waist; and pulled her tighter against her. Resting her chin on her lover's thin shoulder. "I'm sorry baby." She kissed the smooth skin of her soulmate. "I wish that I could go with you."

Betty nuzzled her head into her loves neck. "I wish I didn't have to go." She sighed. "I wish I could remain at your side always." Raw anger rose inside her once more. "It's not fair that you can't come with me."

Veronica stroked her hand through Betty's blonde hair. "Remember Betty I have a few family members of my own whom don't want you around them." She sighed as she leaned into her lover. "It's only for a few hours. Then you'll be back in my arms again. Where I promise that you won't be escaping for many many days." She kissed her soulmates forehead.

"I just wish that I didn't have to deal." Betty sighed as she leaned into the comforting embrace of her true home. "I just wish I was strong enough to have you come with me. No matter what." She husked out.

Veronica gently hummed into Betty's skin. "Baby let's not stress over this anymore." She carefully pushed her lover back onto the sheets. Looking into the blue green eyes beneath her. "There is way better usage of our energy." Her left hand was running lightly up and down the bare thigh beneath her.

The blue green eyes gazed over at the feel of her soulmate's bare body against her own. "Yes much better usage." She whimpered out as her hands traced the skin of her lover's back. The skin that she could map without her eyes. Lifting her head her lips met the smooth skin of Veronica's collarbone. She slightly sucked the skin.
