Link learns of his destiny as the hero chosen by the gods, and is a little overwhelmed.

Warning: No part of this is serious. Beware the OOCness.
The bugs containing tears of light had been destroyed, their light collected, and twilight had receded from the Faron providence.
The great light spirit, Faron, materialized above the spring, his golden presence casting a serene glow over the shallow water.
He spoke to Link, "Hero chosen by the Gods, I am Faron. Because of your valiant efforts in restoring light to the land, Faron Woods is now free from the black clouds of twilight,"
The light Spirit paused to let the information sink it, before he continued, "and you have returned to your true state."
For the first time since collecting the tears of light, Link looked at himself. To his immense relief, he was human again. He ran his hands over himself as if to make sure he was truly back to normal.
"Oh, thank Farore..."
Overcome with relief, the destined hero of Hyrule sank to his knees in the spring water.
After a beat, he looked up at the light Spirit, "Do you have any idea what kind of day I've had?"
When Faron didn't respond, Link continued, "I was a goatherd. I milked goats for a living. Then, suddenly, I'm clocked in the head and the village children are kidnapped by giant monsters. I chase after them—obviously because I'm a decent human being—and then I am literally grabbed and pulled through the gateway to hell where I promptly turn into a wolf for some ungodly reason-"
The light Spirit interrupted, "It was a sign that you are the chosen one-"
Link ignored him and continued, "-and I wake up in jail as a bloody wolf. Then the next thing I know, this little... demon thing over here," Link gestures to his shadow, where he assumes Midna is residing, "wants to ride me like I'm a pony! So I have to traverse through the sewers of Hyrule Castle as a wolf- while, I would like to point out, a wolf's sense of smell is 1000 times stronger than a humans-"
Faron tried to intervene, "I understand you are...overwhelmed by the circumstances, however-"
Link jumped to his feet and pointed an accusatory finger at the deity of light, "Have YOU ever had to fight otherworldly sewer rats using your mouth?!"
Faron was silent.
"So let's recap; I was a goatherd, then I was a wolf, and now I'm the hero chosen by the Gods. All within the span of a day and a night. And now..." Link fought back tears, "I don't even know what to do!"
Link sank to his knees in the spring and began sobbing.
Faron took this a sign to start talking.
"Now, you must go to the forest temple. It is there that you will find the dark power needed to combat that magic of the king of shadows."
Link continued crying.
"Or if you need a minute, I suppose that's fine, too..."
Midna materialized from his shadow and pat him on the head with her hair hand in an uncharacteristic display of pity.
From the bushes, a Golden Wolf watched the scene with a single, glowing red eye.
"Wow, My descendent is real pansy." He thought to himself. "How disappointing!"
Finally, Link stood up.
"I guess I can go to the forest temple...as long as you can promise me one thing."
"Yes?" The light Spirit inquired.
"Promise me there won't be any monkeys... I really hate monkeys."
