"And here we are!" Lissa exclaimed happily as she dragged Robin into the Shepherd's barracks.

Looking around, the white haired amnesiac took a look at his new surroundings. Lissa had told him how it used to be an old store room, and the amount of boxes scattered throughout the room testified to the room's former use. There were also sandbags, weapons racks, bookcases filled and tables covered in maps. What drew his eye the most however was the large map hanging on a wall to the side, the title Halidom of Ylisse written across the top right corner.

"So, what do you think?" Lissa asked.

Robin smiled. "I like it. Feels...homey in a way."

Lissa smiled as she looked around. "Good. This is where most of the Shepherds stay, those who don't have their own places, so we've tried to make sure that this is more than just a barracks. We've renovated several rooms to act as bedrooms, so I can show you to one of those-" Lissa was interrupted when a door on the other side of the room opened, two people coming through the door. "Oh, perfect timing! Sumia, Vaike, come over here and meet our new friend!"

The two turned and smiled in Lissa's direction, only for a pink blur to speed past them. Robin barely had enough time to register blond hoops in a pink outfit before a girl around Lissa's age was upon them.

"Oh Lissa my darling!" The girl exclaimed, hugging Lissa in an intimate gesture.

"Oh hey Maribelle!" Lissa said, patting Maribelle's back.

"Oh hey!? I've sprouted FOURTEEN gray hairs worrying about you, and all I get is an "oh hey"? Maribelle exclaimed.

Lissa giggled before motioning to Robin. "While I thank you for worrying, there wasn't anything to worry about. Especially with our new tactician Robin here watching my back."

"Robin?" A woman with brown hair asked.

"Kind of a scrawny looking guy, ain't he?" A man with blonde hair asked. Robin recognized the two as the ones Lissa had motioned to earlier, Sumia and Vaike.

"He might not look built like you Vaike, but don't underestimate Robin here." Lissa said with a smirk. "Tactics, magic, swords, why there's nothing here that Robin can't do!"

Robin rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment. "L-Lissa, please don't exaggerate."

Maribelle stared at Robin for a moment before speaking. "I see you have gained the trust of my treasure Sir Robin. I am Maribelle Themis, daughter of Duke Themis." She then held out her hand, studying Robin intently.

Robin raised an eyebrow at the gesture, only to feel a sharp pain in his mind. Before he knew what was happening, instinct took over and he gently took Maribelle's proffered hand and gave it a gentle kiss. Realizing what he had done, he bolted back into a straight position, face hot from embarassment over what he had just done.

"I-I...uh...I" He stammered, unable to get a word out.

Everyone looked at him in confusion except for Lissa, who was laughing at the strange rubbery look to Robin's face. "Hahahahahaha, oh that's just great!" She exclaimed.

Maribelle looked at Lissa in confusion. "Forgive me my dear, I do not see the humor in this situation."

Lissa calmed down, wiping a tear from her eye. "Sorry, it was just Robin's reaction. Robin here has amnesia, he doesn't remember anything except the past three days since we found him."

"Wait, really!?" Sumia exclaimed, giving Robin a pitying look.

Robin pursed his lips but nodded. "Yes. I don't know what I'd do if Chrom and Lissa here hadn't found me. I'm really lucky."

Maribelle pursed her lips, tilting her head at Robin. "And yet you still seem to have echoes if your previous action was to go by. Only one well educated in manners would have done what you did. Do you truly not remember anything?"

Robin shook his head. "Not a thing, except for my name and tactics strangely enough. I know how suspicious it sounds, but it's the truth."

Maribelle gave the smallest of smiles. "Worry not Sir Robin. If Lord Chrom and Lissa here trust you, than I shall give you the benefit of a doubt."

Robin blinked in shock, a warm feeling blooming in his chest before Maribelle gave him a nod.

"Now, I must apologize, but I must take my leave. I was merely waiting to see Lisa home safe and sound before I departed to return home." Maribelle said.

Lissa smiled. "Tell the Duke I say hi." She said.

Maribelle smiled. "I shall." With a final nod, she turned and exited through the door. As she passed, Robin caught scent of her flowery perfume, and found himself staring at the door only to hear some light giggling behind him. Turning around, he saw Lissa and Sumia holding their hands behind their mouths, and Vaike giving him a large grin.

"What?" He asked.

So I've seen this 100 Theme Challenge floating around for a while now, and have always wanted to try my hand at it. Well, this past weekend I was just finishing up the latest chapter of Divergent fangs, only for to for some reason shut down just as I hit save. I went from a nearly completed chapter to a barely written one. My fault for using 's writing program, but it still stands. So, while I begin rewriting, I figured I'd write this. I've always liked the relationship with Robin and Maribelle, so decided I'd have some fun here.

Also, I am a fan of interactive fiction novels, and recently on the site Choice of games two have come out that I have simply adored. The first is Wayhaven Chronicles, where you find yourself as a detective in a small town learning that the world is a much larger place than you originally thought when a serial killer makes his way into your town. There is also fallen Hero: Rebirth, where you play as a former super hero who's decided to switch sides. Both obviously have much more inside of them, but I don't want to give away any spoilers. You do have to pay for them of course, but they are relatively cheap and well worth it.

Anyways, considering how 100 themes doesn't require a branching narrative or long chapters unless I choose, I'll try to update this as regularly as I can. If you have any specific requests or scenarios you'd like to see, just leave it in a review. Til then,

Fave, follow, review, and have a good day.
