Tachibana Higuchi owns Gakuen Alice. Always has and always will.

The skies were clear, birds were chirping, the sun shined brightly but no rays of it were harsh and a breezy wind flew past barely managing to get past the sturdy building of Alice Academy.

Unusually, the gates of Alice Academy were decorated and so was the Hall of Central Park which begged the question, what was special about today?

It was the day of Reunion of the batch which hailed the most influential people who had the Academy wrapped around the tips of their fingers. The problem with that? Exactly that.

This batch in particular saw a heightening in Bullying, and this wasn't the usual pushing the victim off the staircase or throwing food at them. No. It was elevated to a whole new level of torture and literally terrorizing the student and publicly humiliating them with no restrain. And no one stopped them because their influence over the school was more than applauded to and they were admired.

Most of the people who were influential were rich, obviously, and even among them were a particular set of people belonging to the top notch Elite class the most prominent were Natsume Hyuuga, Nobara Ibaragi, Hotaru Imai, Ruka Nogi and a few others.

They ruled the school in their time and had no regrets, qualms whatsoever towards bullying students openly. Maybe that was the reason most of the Bullied didn't even show up for graduation.

A raven haired man with tantalizing crimson orbs, dressed in a jet black Gucci suit stepped out from his ebony black Rolls Royce, a cold shadowing his orbs while his lips played in sync with a vane smirk.

He looked over again at the car and informed his butler Lee to take his daughter to the kids section in the hall when she wakes up that is.

His wife would accompany him shortly in another car, and Natsume grimaced when his mind wandered away to his wife, Nobara Hyuuga, Jesus Christ! Did he detest her? In high school, she was a pretty good fuck and preceeding that their marriage invitation cards were sent only because his father said it would be a beneficial marriage and it would do good to both the companies.

But clearly their marriage was nothing more than an agreement. Then he had a daughter with her who he named Aoi Hyuuga. Natsume's life wasn't one to like but then again he wanted the company, he was ambitious, therefore, it was the bed he had made for himself which he had to lay on.

Natsume walked into the hall and was first greeted by an amythyst eyed woman who was eloquently dressed in pale violet.

"Imai." He acknowledged coolly, she had retained her last name even after marrying Ruka which was odd but then again this Hotaru Imai he was thinking about , she is the epitome of oddity.

"Hyuuga." She nodded coldly. They hugged eachother sophisticatedly as Elite customs had thought them to.

" Where's Ruka?" He asked.

"How am I supposed to know?" She shot back.

"He's with his mistress he'll be arriving shortly." She stated while Natsume quirked an eyebrow, he didn't know that Ruka would have a Mistress but then not like he himself didn't .

"Oh." He replied. Neither of them talked until Hotaru asked where his wife was, he replied he had no clue (at which she rolled her eyes).

Elite marriages were mostly done for convenience. They both knew that. Everyone in the Elite families did, and they accepted their fates the way it was served to them, cold.

So far the evening had been going good for Natsume and the rest of his 'high school clique'. Koko was happily married to Sumire Shouda which honestly surprised literally all of them.

"Didn't expect that one coming." Ruka confessed, staying by the side of his wife, a wife who he hardly liked.

"I swear." Natsume conceded.

"I wonder." Hotaru mildly stated.

"Wonder what?" Koko asked as they all had formed a big group but his wife was somewhere else in the hall, probably with one of Ogasawara.

"That girl...I don't recall her name." Hotaru said. "The brunette, the fat one with thick glasses. Where is she?"

"Brunette?" Ruka furrowed his brows.

Natsume knew who she was referring to. Mikan Sakura. Oh how could he ever forget? The girl they bullied, one of their main targeted students. They had bullied her enough to actually get her to stop coming to school and be home schooled students. She was one of the students who hadn't even bothered to come for the Grad.

"I think it was Sakura or something." Koko stated thinking hard, "Sumire has still kept in touch with her."

"Yeah we can see that..." Hotaru stated.

"What do you me-" All of their eyes snapped towards Sumire who was talking to someone their line of vision couldn't reach to.

And when it did. Natsume knew this evening would be more interesting then he originally assumed it to be.

Mikan Sakura had tried.

She had tried hard.

The last time she had honestly tried so hard was probably when she was in Labour. Yes that hard.

Honestly, she didn't want to go to the Reunion, she really , really , really didn't want to go and her reasons were valid, one, she had an important investigation ongoing, second, she didn't want to waste her time in a room meeting people who made her highschool hardly bearable, third, she hated reunions. Like hate them more terribly than one hated being forced by your parents to ditch a weekend party for grocery shopping.

But then that happened.

By some divine power which was against Mikan's very existence had told Luna fucking Koizumi about the reunion. Luna was her bestfriend and neighbour and also a force not to be reckoned with because she was presently, pregnant. Oh where was she again? Yeah the divine force who somehow had whispered every Damn thing about the reunion to Luna.

And that was all that was needed.

"But why do you not want to go?" The pinkette asked.

"Because I just don't want to, please, Luna." Mikan replied , eating Doritos with a dip.

"But why?" Luna questioned firmly.

"Cause my highschool sucked balls and-"

"She was bullied, maybe even drugged at some case scenarios, she had been tortured into doing many things which included eating a roach, she had a stomach ache after that incident, they bullied her cause she was fat and her butt was the size of The Empire State Building and-" Kitsuneme, Luna's husband continued reading from Mikan's personal Journal, not diary, Journal.

Mikan snatched the book from his hands."Don't pry into private things, you asshole!" She shouted while Kitsuneme grinned and then Mikan stopped, she looked over at Luna who now had a determined face.

Oh no.

"Mikan." Luna said calmly, "You have to prove them wrong."

Kit sat down beside his wife and had a content look plastered to his face.

"-Not like you haven't already but Mikan who gets pregnant at 18 has literally been stranded on the streets, and you literally made your life out of scrapes, you were a pole dancer for crying out loud Mikan and then you buckled up for Youchi's sake, and knew that you had to give him a good life you strained yourself and finally became a Police Officer, you made sure Youchi has a better future and you even have a husband who's bonkers about you and loves Youchi as if he was his own child after what you've been through. God Mikan. Do you know how proud I am of you ?" Luna said softly while she hugged Mikan emotionally.

"Please go, Mikan. Rub it into their faces that your spirit could hardly even be touched by their torture. Go." She smiled at Mikan who like an idiot, nodded her head in affirmation.

And that's how she ended up in front of Central Park, Alice Academy.

Luna was extremely manipulative when she wanted to be.

And boy did Mikan hate it?

Mikan walked into the Hall which had the words "Reunions: Cause nothing beats highschool." Embedded on the banner in front of the rollled her eyes at the title, honestly, even her cheese fries could beat her highschool. Anytime of the day mate. Anytime of the day.

The Hall on the other hand was filled with every damn person Mikan disliked, okay maybe a few were likable example Sumire and... the Ogasawara twins was it? She didn't really keep track of Sumire's friends but she knew what they were doing in their lives, courtesy: Sumire.

Which is why when Mikan spotted them she was unsure whether to approach them or not, but after a while she gave up and just went over to the place they were at.

"Mikan!" Sumire beamed as the twin's jaws dropped, looks like some people hadn't expected her to be what she became. But then again becoming a Police Officer wasn't exactly hot on her list.

"I missed you, I missed you, I missed you x ten thousand times." Sumire hugged her while Mikan smiled at her. Yeah, Sumire was a little weird but that didn't deter Mikan from having affection for her.

"It's been a while, Sakura-san." Nonoko hugged her and Mikan didn't know what to feel about that. Anna however settled for a handshake, the twins were Gossip Queens in highschool but unlike Ibaragi and Imai and the rest of the popular shows ,they were geniune and down-to-earth.

"Where is your sweetheart though? And what about Youchi?" Sumire asked.

"Oh well,he texted he'd come in late after picking up Youchi from football practice. Before you ask it both of them are doing good." Mikan informed with a smile as Nonoko and Anna exchanged looks, only the batch students were allowed for the Reunion, which meant whoever Mikan's husband was...had studied with them.

"Oh wait give me a minute." Mikan excused herself in search of something she had forgotten on her bike. The bracelet which her beloved had gifted her with.

"Say Sumire.." Anna said. "Who is Sakura-san married to?" Nonoko completed.

Sumire whispered the name of Mikan's husband to the twins and their jaw dropped at which Sumire merely sneered, "B-But wasn't he a drug dealer back in high school? Like he was a 'I'm gonna be the next Yakuza' type right?" Nonoko's brows furrowed as she looked for an answer from the green haired woman.

"Well, yes, Ironically , Mikan was the Police Officer who busted him, and the most weirdest thing is that they fell in love with eachother when he was in prison, but Mikan pulled him out of that life. And things just happened they fell in love yadda, yadda, and now he's opened a Bakery, must have heard about it you guys, like he named it after her." Sumire said in a tone which was subserviently outdone in mockery.

"The Blossoms." Anna clasped a hand over her mouth. "Oh my God! This is the hottest news ever! A prison based romance. How cute. Mikan's soo damn lucky!" Nonoko praised as Sumire's face dropped, though she wanted to point out that Mikan's life wasn't easy, in fact her life was pretty tough, and at some point Sumire admired Mikan for her fortitude and her love for both her husband and her son, Youchi.

"By the way.." Nonoko's voice reeked with gossip. "It seems that Natsume cheats on Ibaragi and she does it on him too."

Sumire rolled her eyes because that wasn't that unexpected, she even heard something about Imai and Nogi's marriage having problems. Whatever it was. They deserved it.

By the time Sumire wondered where her husband, Koko was. And as soon as she did Mikan came back with a bracelet dangling around her wrist, the twins rose an eyebrow at that to which Sumire mouthed. "Wedding gift."

"So what's up wi-" Nonoko began but was shortly interrupted by Koko calling Sumire to his side. Sumire glanced over to where her husband was standing and she frowned noticing exactly whose company he was with.

"Shit!" Sumire cussed and then turned to the brunette, "Mikan you gotta come with me, I don't think I can bear a minute with those kind of people. Please pretty, pretty , pretty please !" She begged as Mikan looked over at the group.

Wow, she thought, literally everyone who bullied her was there. Talk about luck.

But then she met his gaze.

Natsume Hyuuga wasn't a good memory she would ever like to recall, and something in his eyes was trying to pin her down. The audacity.

Oh no you don't, Mikan inwardly resolved.

"Let's go then." Mikan conceded with her hazel orbs sparkling something more than what should have been there but Sumire didn't take note of that.

"Oh and here's a little something about them before we reach there." Sumire whispered smiling into Mikan's ear. "Hyuuga cheats and Nogi has a mistress."

"Which Nogi?"

"Imai didn't really change her last name ya know." Sumire said.

"Whoa." Mikan brows rose together. Ruka and Hotaru? Seriously, she wanted to laugh, "Didn't expect that to happen. What a tragedy." She rolled her eyes decisively.

"Hey Mikan." Koko greeted as she smiled warmly to him.

"What's up with you,Koko? Hope that Sumire ain't driving you mad huh?" At which Sumire glared at Mikan who simply gave the 'I'm kidding look.'

"Nah she ain't troubling me. Though I could always depend on ya if she domestically abuses me right cop?" Koko chuckled flamboyantly.

"Sure." She conceded, 'trying' to avoid everyone and be cool about it.

"So you became a cop eh, Sakura?" Natsume admissioned sipping on his glass of wine in a string of eloquence while Nobara wrapped an arm around his "Didn't think that would happen of you." If surprise was supposed to be evident in his voice. Mikan didn't find any.

"Well, Hyuuga , after highschool I vowed never to see your shitty face again, but here we are. Things happen." Mikan shot back with twice as venom as he had at which he narrowed his cold Crimson red at her firm Hazel brown.

Ruka sensed the atmosphere filling in with tension so he decided to chuck in a question. "So Sakura -san, you're married huh?" He asked smiling at her.

Mikan blinked before she beamed a bright smile at the blond. "Yeah, I am but he's not here yet...which is weird." She said looking around.

"He graduated with us?" Nobara raised a brow in questioning.

"Yes. But just where is-" Mikan felt an arm rest on her waist, she smiled to herself knowing exactly who it was.

"About time you showed up." Sumire reckoned.

Rei Serio rose an eye brow in reply while he was carrying a particularly annoyed Youchi, the grey haired boy, who was still in his dirty football clothes and though there was soil on his suit due to the dirty uniform, Rei didn't look like he minded having him against his expensive suit. Youchi reached his arms out to Mikan while leaned to his mother. "Mamma." Mikan took him with open arms and a smile grazing her lips.

"He's been cranky all day without you, you know?" Rei smiled looking at his wife who was gently patting her son. "Guess he's sleepy then," Mikan shrugged, moving closer towards her husband.

"Well, ain't that a shocker?" Natsume coolly stated, staring at the couple with an amused expression while his eyes were moving around their fingers which had matching ring tattoos instead of actual rings, Mikan who sensed a territorial feeling being aroused like an underlying motive against her family.

"Well, ain't that a shocker?"Mikan snapped back at him while motioning towards Nobara and him, laced in absolute villainy which was odd for what she really was.

Damn. She really hated him. Still.

"Indeed, it is." Nobara conceded with something undertoning it at which Mikan frowned, did Rei have affiliations to either of them? Well, highschool was pretty bad for both of them, maybe a tiff or something ?

But soon it was time for lunch, "I thought you weren't showing up." Rei looked at his wife who carefully sat down so as to not disturb the grey haired boy sleeping in her arms.

"I wasn't. But then 'Luna' happened." Mikan groaned silently. She looked upto find her husband controlling what seemed to be a feral grin.

Mikan furrowed her brows before she put two and two together. "It was you!" She accused him with a pointed gaze "You told Luna about the reunion , didn't you lil minx?"

"I might have accidentally slipped the invitation into her bag. Can't say. Too busy nowadays you see." He smirked at her and it grew only wider when he saw Mikan's brow twitch her lower lip.

"And what are you busy with may I please know?" Mikan challenged with a brow arched up.

"Well, you see, my wife is particularly burdening."

"Oh really?"

"Yes, so very burdening."

"Alright then." Mikan admonished as casually as possible . "No sex for a week then."

At what could possibly be a threat Rei straightened himself and looked at his wife with doe like black orbs which always got him out of situations like this.

But then he stopped and really noticed just how ethereal his wife truly looked, she looked so very strong , this woman, who he beheld in his arms was home to all his demons. Rei Serio knew better than anyone that he had been beyond the realm of help, he was so deeply knotted in the criminal world that not even once did he think it was bad. Not until she caught him atleast. Officer Mikan Sakura at that point of her career was as ruthless as one in the Police force could get, but somehow, by extremely odd turns of events he fell in love with her as she did with him. In a prison mind you. Always the rule breaker he was, something which he was proud and always teased her about. But Mikan Sakura was nothing but determined, never had even seen a more hardworking and grounded woman she didn't take the crap she didn't deserve.

Rei even admired his wife, she was soo strong but sometimes she would break down in his arms, having been too bold and too strong for too long often makes her cry and he was there . Always. Without a fail.

He was her safe haven as she was his.

And they wouldn't give eachother up for the world.

In highschool he had never showed up to classes to even know who Mikan Sakura was. And imagine his shock when he understands that she was In the same batch as him, he was baffled to put it down in simple terms. Mikan was probably the only good thing he had done in his entire life and he was glad he did, look where it got him, he came back to a wife who loved him and a child who admired him, unlike many people present currently in the Hall he was at, he came back to a Home.

Rei took the sleeping boy from Mikan's arms, he carefully craddled the boy while Mikan regarded him in mere fascination. Rei regardless of his past was a wonderful father and husband, how on earth could she be lucky enough to have him by her side? He was among the most precious things she'd ever have. The most close one could ever be to raw perfection.

The sight made Natsume somehow, writhe in envy, she looked too content with her life, almost made him want to wreck it,"Stop it, Hyuuga." Hotaru intervened with a resonance of finality in her voice, as an answer he merely shrugged his shoulders adeptly and changed the direction of his gaze.

Soon it was time for the reunion to end with a dance, "Eh? I haven't danced since..honestly, I don't know when ..it was a long time back is all I remember."Mikan said in urgency to her husband who merely grinned at her sardonically and whispered, "All the more reason you should!"

"Well, you're stuck with Youchi in your arms.." The woman clad in the Japanese Police uniform pointed out, "..and I don't see anyone who would ask me-"

"-May I have this dance?" an emotionless voice interrupted, and both Rei and Mikan looked upto the owner of it.

"Eh? Imai I'm sort of busy-"Rei was cut of shortly but the auberdine eyed woman, "-I meant I wanted a dance with her." Hotaru motioned towards Mikan who merely blinked in surprise.

"Huh?" The lean man with smooth black hair looked at his wife who was fazed a tad bit by the strange request, but Mikan regained her natural cheer and smiled brightly at the woman in front of her who was take aback by the strong display. Rei didn't blame her really, Mikan could charm anyone with that smile of her, in fact he could 'attest' to it.

Mikan gently took Hotaru to the floor, she had cold hands, Mikan noted but then again she was literally nicknamed 'The Ice Queen' in her time in school so...yeah must be the title. A curious speculation hit Mikan's brain while they danced together, and she luckily didn't make a step wrong because honestly, by the way Hotaru was dancing one would have thought she was professional, but then again practically all 'Elite' families thought their children to dance from a young age, they were equipped foe everything and were trained in more depth of the field.

"Do you still blackmail people?" Mikan asked curiously to the girl who she was dancing with, Hotaru who didn't expect a conversation to start merely looked at her though frigid amythyst eyes.

"I wouldn't admit that to a cop."

Mikan giggled at her answer, though the woman had bullied her in highschool, brutally, she had forgiven her, everyone who bullied her she had forgiven them and let gone of, all except Hyuuga. Natsume was an unsettling topic, an itch she couldn't scratch, the thought of him and those haunting eyes were always at the back of her head, she always had him in her mind, an odd connection which was just broken or shattered maybe? she didn't what it was, but ...it was unexplainable.

"Either way, how are you?" The brunette asked while for the second time in fifteen minutes Hotaru Imai was astonished again because Mikan sounded genuinely concerned about how she was, this wasn't the fake 'oh darlin', how are you?' from her acquaintances of the rich circle which actually meant 'I really don't care about you but since I want gossip and formalities exist I gotta do this.'.

"I'm ..I am just fine." She croaked an answer, "Oh you own a company that uhh invents stuff? I'm so sorry I am not in touch with the outside world." Mikan sheepishly apologized as she twirled Hotaru suavely.

Hasn't danced it seems, Rei thought inwardly as he looked at the love of his life moving effortlessly, I wouldn't be surprised if she opens a dance studio on the weekends.

"-No but honestly, think it this way..." Mikan enthusiastically directed, the pair of women were discussing a particular classmate of theirs "..he always used to disappear whenever we had morning classes, showed only up at evening classes, and he had sharp fangs!"

"Therefore you assume he was a vampire?!" Hotaru incredulously retorted while controlling an urge room laugh. "Yes!" like thunder came Mikan's answer while the black haired woman chortled a long titter, it had been quite a while since she laughed that way or even felt happy.

"You look good when you smile." Mikan complemented and they had failed to notice that it had been quite some time since they were dancing, Mikan's eyes then searched for Rei, he was talking ti Koko and another midnight blue eyed man...was his name Tsubaki or.. Tsubasa? Ugh she couldn't recall.

"I'm sorry." She heard someone apologize,it took her a few moments to realize that it was Hotaru's voice, Mikan looked at the woman in confusion, "..for everything I did to you in highschool...I'm sorry, I should have known that it hurted you a lot and it was wrong and tremendously horribly thing to do but ...but I am not forcing you to forgive me, I understand if that-"

"-I wouldn't say it didn't hurt, because it did...but I'm glad you are now aware of your actions and what consequence they have on others, regardless, I forgive you." She grinned meaningfully and patted Hotaru's head softly as she widened her eyes at the action. It was a really small gesture but it meant so much more to the girl who thought she didn't possess emotions.

It compelled her to feel the warmth.

Mikan looked at her, Imai wasn't as bad as she thought she was, "Hey Hotaru-san, we have this Sunday brunch thing every week, I mean our table's pretty long, it wouldn't hurt much if one more joined, it happens in the backyard of St. Mark's church."

"You ..want me to join you?"

"Yeah, why not? My family will be there and a few other people too, why don't you come over?"

Hotaru astrayed talking and stayed silent before deciding, "I'll try." at that Mikan who was expecting an outright 'No' beamed optimitically.

"And-" the tawny brown haired woman stopped her sentence mid way when the partners changed and Mikan's wrist was grabbed by an unfamiliar man while Ruka took Hotaru's hand and evidently, Mikan saw her cringe, huh, must be bad to have a husband who cheats on you with a mistress, something that Hotaru really didn't deserve, but when she felt herself being pushed closer to the man who she was now dancing with his arm draped around her waist she was forced to look upto meet a pair of crimson eyes.

Needless to say, that freaked her out, honestly of all people, it had to be Hyuuga who should be dancing, she would have even accepted Mochiage, but...not him. She could feel Rei's stare at her, it wasn't the possesive glare, though she mused that somewhere in his gaze,it was there but it was more like a silent way of asking whether Mikan was fine with dancing with Natsume, whether she was uncomfortable, but Mikan calmly shook her head to which he nodded.

Serio Rei was hardly worried when it came to his wife, he was fairly sure when it came to protecting herself, she didn't need anyone room that for her but Natsume Hyuuga wasn't a man he'd liked to keep around her especially.

While they danced they didn't utter a word to eachother, just swayed and danced rhythmically to the music, and the void between them was just fulfilled by the expressions they exchanged, something odd it was, it wasn't romantic but neither was it something light, there was tension among the both of them as his hand was clasped and entwined against hers, and something about that felt intimate to both of them.

Like this was an almost.

Which is why Mikan was relieved when when it was over, without another sound, she walked back to Rei's arms, exactly where her comfort zone lay.

She bid goodbye's to everyone of her friends, maybe, she didn't regret going to the Reunion wasn't such a bad idea after all, she'd have to thank Luna for it later, though she had waved everyone goodbye she didn't find Hotaru at all which was odd but she heard from Sumire that she stormed away when Ruka's mistress, Wakako Usami, showed up and ...the rest was unspoken.

She should have taken her number.

The three of them,Youchi, Rei and Mikan were heading to the parking lot before she knitted her brows together, "Rei,"

"Mhmm?"He responded carrying the boy in his arms, careful not to wake him up.

"Why didn't you leave Youchi in the kid area in the hall?"

"I did."

"Eh? And then what happened?"

"I returned and it seems he had made a girl cry and she was squabbling loudly about how he said she was ugly, therefore I brought him with me besides he wanted to me with you, though I like the fact he was so outright to the girl." He smugly replied while Mikan sweatdropped at the extremely misdirected pride, nevermind, she'd teach Youchi not to do that again."Oh you brought your bike,"Rei observed, "I suppose I'll leave with Youchi in the car and you'll come in the bike."

Mikan nodded but Rei seemed reluctant to leave her hand, she looked up at him and he was looking at her as if she amazed him, he leaned down to touch his forehead with her own, with care not to wake Youchi up who was sleeping quietly, and he closed his eyes while Mikan patiently waited for him to continue.

"I hope you know, darlin', that I haven't met, seen, or heard of someone as bewitching as you,"He whispered while fluffy warm feeling overcame Mikan, "and nothing, absolutely nothing can make me stop falling in love with you time and again."She stared at him in complete and unconditional yearning.

Mikan stood on her toes and placed a kiss on his pale pink lips, wrapping an arm around his neck while the other rested on Youchi's head, making sure their son didn't wake up.

Their tongues danced in a passionate fervour, the feeling of want for more skin to skin was hardly fulfilled by the kiss, the fire rising in both of them but Rei pulled away, "Honestly,I'll end up stripping you down here and have a go at it." He paused and mischievously continued, "I don't see why we can't though."

"Absolutely no."Mikan reprimanded while her lover pouted adorably like a kid denied his treat and then she cunningly added, "..maybe you'll have something to look forward to when you give back home."and as if that wasn't enough she bit her lip seductively at which Rei twitched.

"Damn woman, I think I'm developing a crush on you."

"Rei..."

"Yes, love?"

"We are married."

"So? Doesn't mean I can't have a crush on you every now and then."

Mikan looked at him amused and she pushed him not before placing a chaste kiss on Youchi's head who smiled in his sleep feeling his mother's affectionate touch.

"..and for me?" Rei complained.

"Go..." She pushed him towards his car, reluctantly, he went but Mikan heard him suspiciously utter something along the lines of 'Damn, the boy gets more affection than me!'

She smiled as she sat on the bike, almost going to follow the car which her husband had departed from the parking area.

"You sure are bold in displaying affections, Officer Sakura." A voice commented and Mikan frowned, knowing exactly who the voice belonged to.

"Piss off Hyuuga, I don't have any time to deal with you." She didn't have any formality to stay civil with this asshole.

Natsume looked at her while he was sitting in the car, a Rolls Royce, Mikan rolled her eyes but she noticed a girl sleeping in the car. She looked like his kid.

Wow, I didn't know he could reproduce.

"The hell do you mean by that?!" He furiously asked while stepping out of the car, Mikan blinked before realizing, shut she must have said that aloud.

"Uhh you heard that?" She unintelligibly muttered.

"Damn right."

"Eh?...uh sorry then I'll be on my way." She literally scurried back to where her bike was.

"Running off back to your husband?"

Mikan stopped, she was as fierce as a Lioness when in came to Rei, she adored the man, and she would claw out anyone's throat who said something against him, even the slightest of threat to him, she will eliminate it without second thoughts.

She sniggered, "Envious are we Hyuuga? Cause you don't have anyone to run back to?"

Natsume narrowed his red eyes at her, "Quite a tongue you've grown, last time I checked, you couldn't talk." He said, amused.

"Last I checked you were an asshole, fuck! You're still an asshole, my bad." She sarcastically shot back.

"Keep a leash on it, I might do something we both would regret." He warned towering Mikan like he used in highschool.

"Fuckin' make me bitch."She fiercely challenged, no way was she gonna let this sucker intimidate her.

And they had one final battle of eyes, her hazel browns dripping in caramel wrapped in rebellion, valour and courage while his crimson reds held dominance, superiority and totalitarianism, there was a raw and untouched enigma in both of them, it almost made Mikan's heart wrench in it, while Natsume stared at her in absolute yearning, which was odd for him to even think of let alone, feel, he broke away and went back inside and didn't look back once.

Which by the way was fine with Mikan which rode her bike and for some reason she found a childish happiness when she overtook Hyuuga's car, and raced away.

She had to get home fast.

After all, Rei was waiting for her.

Sometimes I wonder if my mind is really so jobless to come out with stories like these.

Maybe it is.
