I do not own…

A/N: This is a crossover of Inuyasha and The Mummy but there is also another crossover in it that will be reviled in the next chapter. I hope you like it. Also you may notice a familiar Disney scene in here.

Chapter one: The Priestess traveling in time

It was stormy night as a tan man with blue eyes was in his study room looking over ancient books. His name is Akins Kassis and he lived in Japan with his wife and their four year old daughter. He stopped reading when he heard his door open and smiled when he saw his daughter Kagome. She stood by the door rubbing her right eye and let out a cute yawn. When she opened her eyes she had the same blue eyes as him. She may have her moms' looks but she had his eyes. She was holding her stuff dog and wearing her pink Hello Kitty feety pajamas.

"My little Sapphire? What are you doing up at this time?" Akins smiled

He got up from his seat to walked over to her and picked her up.

"I couldn't sleep." Kagome said and let out another yawn. "What are you reading?"

"Books from my old homeland. These are the Gods from Ancient in Egypt." He said while sitting back down at his desk. "Do you remember what their names are?"

She nodded her head.

"Okay…then what is the name of this one?" He asked as he pointed to picture with a falcon head.

"Ra." She said as she cocked her head to the side cutely.

"And who is he?" He asked

"The Sun god like Lady Amaterasu is the Goddess of the sun." She said

"That's right. And who is this one?" He asked and pointed at another one.

"Anubis." She said

"And…" He said

"God of the dead." She said

"Good." He smiled "And this one?"

"Osiris, god of the underworld." She said

"Very good, and what about this one?" He asked

"Isis. Goddess of magic, marriage, heal and protection." She said

He chuckled "That's right." Then he took something out of his drawer. "Your mother and grandfather may be priest and priestess of Lady Amaterasu but you have half of my blood in you too. And my ancestor has been the priest and priestess of Lady Isis for thousands of years." Then he placed a medallion of Isis around her neck. "Just like Lady Amaterasu, she will protect you as well. Come on, time for bed."

He stood up and took her back into her room. Akins placed her in her bed and covered her in her sheets. A soft meow was heard from the floor and he looked down and saw their pet kitten Buyo. He chuckled as he picked up the kitten and placed him in the covers with Kagome.

"Can you tell me another part of the story papa?" Kagome asked as she cuddled with Buyo.

"Another one." He raised a brow and gave in when she gave him her puppy eyes. "Alright, one more. Let's see, where were we?"

"Princess Isis just let her pet lion Sabra chewed off Prince Bari's pants and the Pharaoh was not happy." Kagome smiled

"Ah yes. Now I remember." Akins smiled "After Prince Bari left the Pharaoh went to the royal garden where the young princess was.

.

.

"Isis!" The Pharaoh called "Isis!"

He walked towards her but stop in a halt when Sabra stopped in front of him with the princes rip piece of his cloth in her mouth.

"Sabra dropped it!" Pharaoh ordered

But the lion did nothing but went back to her mistress. The young princess was by the pool that was filled with lotus.

"So, this is way Prince Bari stormed off." The Pharaoh said

"Oh father, Sabra was just playing with him." Isis said and cooed her pet lion. "Weren't you Sabra? You were just playing with that overly dressed prince Bari."

Sabra just purred. Isis looked back at her father and saw that he was not pleased at all.

"Dearests, you need to stop sending the suiters away." He said

"The law said you must be married to a prince." They both said

Isis got up and walked over to the bird cage.

"Oh your next birthday." He continued as he followed her. "Just like your sister did."

"The law is wrong father." Isis sighed and gently took a bird out

"You have three months left my little one." He said

"Father, I hate that you're making me do this. If I do married I want it to be for love." Isis smiled as she gentle pet the bird

The Pharaoh's face softened at his daughters' words. Out of all his children she was his favorite and worries the most. The Gods had blessed her with so much kindness, beauty and was selfless towards others that he wanted to protect her from the harsh cold world.

"Isis…it's not just because of the law." He said and gentle took the bird out of her hand and place it back the cage. "I'm not going to be around forever. I just want to make sure you're taken care of. Protect always."

Isis sighed again and walked back to the pool.

"Please try to understand. I haven't done a thing on my own. I haven't even made a single friend." Isis pouted

Sabra looked at her with insult in her eyes and growled.

"Accept you Sabra." Isis smiled

That seemed please the lioness and lay back down.

"I haven't even seen the outside of the palaces wall. If I am to rule one day father shouldn't I know my people." She said

"Isis, you're a princess." He said with a stern voice

"Then maybe I don't want to be princess anymore." Isis said and turned away in anger

The Pharaoh huffed and headed back to the palace. He could see that she had inherit his stubborn side. Isis walked over to the bird cage and freed them. She watch them flew away in envy. Freedom. That's all she wanted. The palace may seem beautiful on the outside of the wall but inside the young princess felt like prisoner. The princess had made her decision and tonight she was going to leave. She heard Sabra growled and Isis looked where she was growling at. On the balcony she saw the high priest Imhotep looking down at her. Isis had always been kind and tried to see the good in everybody but he and along with her father's mistress she could sense darkness in them."

Akins stopped when he saw his sapphire finally asleep. He made sure that she safe and warm in her covers before kissing her forehead.

"Good night, my little sapphire." He whispered "May the gods protect you always."

Kagome had finished looking over a few ancient artifacts for the museum. Once she was done she placed it in the area where she was going to present it. She sighed and played with her necklace. It the medallion that her father had gave her but it was embedded with the Shikon Jewel on top of it. When she had destroyed the Shikon jewel she was cursed of immortality and was now stuck in the past. Thanks to the help of her friends she was able to adapt to it and started traveling the world. As the years have passed she had decided to become an archeologist. She had been all over the world but she fell in love with Egypt history as it was a part of her.

She went back to get some more artifacts when she heard a loud noise in the library. Having a feeling on who it was she set the artifact down and went to see if she could save her friend from the boss man. Once she was half way there it seem that she was too late as she could hear Dr. Bey yelling at Evy. Kagome walked in the room when he was done scowling the librarian.

"Evy, what happened here?" Kagome said in amusement.

"Oh hi Kagome, sorry, I made a little mess here." Evy said in embarrassment

Kagome looked around and saw all the book shelves knocked down.

"Little." She raised a brow

Evy cheeks turned red in embarrassment. A noise was heard in the other part of museum and the two girls went to check it out.

"Hello." Evy called out

They saw that nothing was out of place and no one was there. Kagome grabbed a torch from a statue and they both walked in.

"Abdul. Mohammed. Bob." Evy called out

Kagome scanned the place and sensed that someone was here but it was harmless. Another loud bang was heard and it was coming from an open sarcophagus. When they were closer to it the corpse suddenly sat up. Evy screamed in fright while Kagome just rolled her eyes. After all her years she was used to actual dangerous things popping out of nowhere. Then a familiar laugh was heard.

"Have you no respect for the dead." Kagome said with a stern voice to Evy's brother Jonathan.

"Of course I do. But sometimes I'd rather like to join them." Jonathan said as he wrapped his arm around the mummy's shoulder.

"Well I wish you would do it sooner rather than later, before you ruin my career like you ruined yours. Now get out." Evy demanded as she tried to fix the mummy back into place.

"Oh my dear sweet baby sister…I'll have you know that at this moment my career is on a high note." Jonathan said as he stumbled drunkenly out of the sarcophagus.

"High note, please." Kagome rolled her eyes again

"Jonathan please, I am really not in the mood for you, I just made a bit of a mess in the library…and the Bembridge scholars rejected my application form again. They say I don't have enough experience in the field." Evy said as she sat down at the base of one of the statues.

Kagome and Jonathan saw how sad she was and they sat down beside her.

"You'll always me old mum." Jonathan said

"And me." Kagome smiled

It seemed to cheer her up a little.

"Besides I have just the thing to cheer you up." Jonathan said "Well maybe the both of you."

He ran back to the sarcophagus and searched for something. Both Kagome and Evy groan as they knew what he was up too.

"Jonathan, I'm not in the mood to look over another useless trinket." Kagome sighed and rubbed her temple

"Me too. If I have to take one more piece of junk to try and sell for you…" Evy trailed off as her brother handed them the item.

Kagome and Evy looked at it in amazement.

"Jonathan, where did you get this?" Kagome asked as she took ahold of it

"Oh, I dig down in Thebes." Jonathan hesitated

Kagome narrowed her eyes at him as she knew was lying. Especially since she had been on a dig in Thebes last week and never saw him there.

"Please you guys tell me that I found something." Jonathan begged

Kagome roamed her fingers around it and noticed something. She twisted it around and it opened. All three of them looked at the piece of paper that was inside.

"Jonathan." Evy whispered with a smile

"Yes." Jonathan whispered excitedly

"I think you found something." Kagome said

She took out the paper and it turned out to be a map.
