"Stop making excuses, Bella. Take my hand."
With one pale hand extended, a playful grin was sent the other woman's way, daring her to take the leap. Tanya wanted her to. More than anything she wanted Bella to take her hand so that she could show her all of the things that Edward had failed to show her when she had been his.
"There's my good girl." Tanya purred as a warm hand slipped into her cooler one. It felt amazing. It always did. Tugging on the hand, Tanya gently brought her human into her arms. She could have sworn that she actually felt a warming in her heart when Bella wrapped her arms around her neck and pressed a soft kiss to the underside of her jaw. Tanya closed her eyes from the sensation, humming. "Now what exactly was that for, hmm? Maybe you aren't my good girl after all. Good girls don't use their lips to distract people."
Bella only shrugged into their embrace, kissing her again.
"No, no." Tanya giggled, pulling back just enough to look down at her human with scolding eyes. "You are not going to distract me from this. We are leaving this apartment and we are taking a little drive. Trust me, love, it's worth it."
"But it's cold out there. I want so stay in here by the fire. Drink some wine, watch a movie or two, snuggle..." Bella played with the soft curls at the back of the vampire's neck, a coy little smile on her lips. "Please can we stay in tonight? I'll make it up to you."
"Oh I don't doubt that you would, but we're still going out. Nice try though." Tanya dropped a quick kiss to her lips before she pulled away and, gently dragging her pouting human with her, headed for the door. She was still grinning ear to ear as she collected her car keys and tossed a warm coat in Bella's face. "Don't want you to freeze," She laughed as Bella huffed and pulled the coat away from her face with a glare. "What? I'm being a good girlfriend." She shrugged innocently. "Now let's go. The stars wait for no man!"
"We're not men." Bella shoved her arms into her coat and, still pouting, let Tanya move in to button it for her. "And I'm not a child."
Tanya rose an eyebrow, a little grin still on her face as she finished buttoning her human's coat.
"No, you most certainly are not." Her Bella was definitely all woman. "And I will certainly have no problem proving that to you soon, but right now," Tanya finished buttoning her coat and dropped her lips to Bella's in a soft kiss. "Right now I would like to show you something I believe is as beautiful as you are. Then I will show you just how much I do not see you as a child. Fair deal?"
"Will there be snuggling and a movie involved?"
"Maybe not a movie, but definitely snuggling. Likely without clothes, but that's neither here nor there." She shrugged, grinning again. "Now let's go. The night is clear and the stars are bright, and I know just the place for you to see them in all their beautiful, twinkling glory."
"I have seen the stars before, baby. You know that, right?"
Thinking of the soft blanket she had laid in the boot of her car earlier that day, and the sweet wine and even sweeter strawberries in the basket by the door, laid beside carefully placed glasses and a small container of the finest chocolate dipping sauce Tanya could find, Tanya could only giggle at how cute her human sounded. She was fairly sure no lover Bella had taken before her had gone to this much trouble to watch the stars with her. It was a first Tanya was excited to give her.
"You have never seen the stars with me, baby. You'll see."
