Keep it Clean

Serving aboard the Axiom,

There's always much to do.

Every day given routines,

And we have to see them through.

Keep the engines going,

Keep the insides clean.

No glance given, no thanks said,

Such is the fate of us machines.

Over centuries, we break down,

Over centuries replaced.

Some parts of us are salvaged,

The other "junk" is spaced.

So imagine my frustration,

Imagine by despair.

When this new rustbucket bot appears,

Trailing his mud everywhere.

Know it is my duty,

Know that I must keep things clean.

But if I had a voice processor,

I'd let out a mighty scream.
