Hey guys, here's the newest chapter.

Sorry for the slightly late update, I have my semester finals coming up, and a lot of shit in life. So the next update might come in... Give or take two months? I don't really know when, but I'll try to finish it soon after I finish my finals and stuff.

Anyways...

NeonGamer973, I personally don't ever think I'll be ever be able to live up to the hype. Pretty sure the anime won't, or it will, depending on how they do it. Considering they skipped a lot of stuff in the light novels, I doubt so... But we can hope. And about posting this on Wattpad, if its taking time, you don't necessarily have to do it. I personally don't plan on posting this on Wattpad, if anything it'll be an original story that I do plan to write in the future.

KiriaMizuno, yes, its Maple. I'm currently considering doing a side chapter show casing the Underworld while the war goes on, cough for Mash and Maple... But well, we'll see. :)

Nameless Guest, yeah, Kirito will join in the next few chapters. It is all but confirmed hahaha. But speaking of FGO, I hope I can get Maid Alter in the summer event haha, and all other SSR/5 stars. But regarding Arthur's NP, hmm, it is nice, but I doubt I'll be putting it here. The lore behind it doesn't necessarily fit.

Saint Saber Fang, hey, nice to hear you're out over highschool. I'm coping pretty well, well, as good as I can get...

NinjaFang1331, thank you.

Dasgun, I don't know what your comment is intended for, but okay. :)

Anyways, here's the next chapter.

XXX

(Day 2, 2nd Division)

The second division were at their camp, somewhere around the beach.

Like the first division, it was hard to ambush them. The White Zetsu clones were hidden in the ground and the ocean.

But considering they weren't moving too close to the beach, it wasn't much of a problem, and they wiped out most of the clones with no casualties.

Now, Gaara was in a tent looking over the data they had.

Similar to the first division, all the other divisions were to stay at their current positions due to the same reason. Lack of information.

Gaara sighed, "So far so good..."

Then, someone entered the tent, or rather, three people, revealing to be Temari, Itachi and Suguha.

Temari asked, "Gaara? How are you doing?"

The Kazekage nodded, "I'm okay. How is everyone outside?"

Suguha answered, "Pretty good. The Tsuchikage's presence, and the Integrity Knights really seem to be boosting everyone's morale."

Gaara nodded, "I see. That's good."

Itachi then asked, "So, are we still to standby here?"

Gaara nodded, "As far as I know, for now, yes. There's no new info from HQ, no doubt the intel division is working hard to find out what the enemy is doing."

The Uchiha nodded, "Yeah, well, I know Jiraiya excels at information gathering, but it's still a waste that he's not on the front line."

Gaara chuckled, "Well, considering how strong the Integrity Knights are, and with you and everyone else, I believe its enough."

The three ninja nodded. Yesterday had been rather eye opening, as Siegfried alone had wiped out one wave of the White Zetsu clones in one slash with Balmung.

Of course, Eugeo had explained that the Full Armament Control Arts was something more akin to a finisher move, especially the Release part of it. But it still was a sight to see an entire battalion gone from one single sweep.

Gaara then looked back at the map, "Anyways, I want to scout out as much ground as possible. Itachi, Temari, can you get your summons to do that?"

The two shinobi nodded, and Itachi commented, "Yeah, I already have my crows on watch for enemies, I'll have them expand the area."

Temari nodded, "Same here."

The Kazekage nodded gratefully, "I'm counting on that."

The two ninja just nodded, before the two excused themselves from the tent, leaving Gaara with Suguha.

After a short moment of silence, Gaara asked, "So, how do you feel about this situation?"

Suguha looked at the map, "I really don't know. One side wants to destroy the ninja villages, another wants to dominate the world."

The former Jinchurikii chuckled, "Well, if you put it that way, it seems ridiculous."

The Nanabi Jinchurikii nodded, "Yes... And well, at least, we got Kirito-kun back."

The Kazekage nodded, "Yeah... That's true..."

The tent then opened as someone came in, revealing to be Eugeo, "Excuse me, can I come in?"

Gaara nodded, recognising the Integrity Knight's tell-tale armor, "Of course."

Eugeo smiled, "Oh hey, Suguha."

The girl smiled in response, "Hello, Eugeo-san."

Gaara merely nodded, "Hmm, so, is there anything I can help with?"

The knight of the blue rose nodded, "Yeah, I know we're standing by, but we just want to know if there are any updates. The others think the enemy may set up an ambush."

Gaara nodded, "Then they're not alone. Our location is hard to set an ambush, but not impossible. In fact, that's why we're not moving too close to the beach."

The knight nodded, "Yeah..."

The Kazekage sighed, "At any rate, there's nothing much we can do. I've sent two of our ninja to send out scouts to check the area around us. So they'll alert us if any enemies come."

Eugeo nodded, "I see... Then what can we do to help?"

Gaara chuckled, "For now, rest. Who knows how long until we'll get another chance to have a break like this?"

The blue rose knight nodded, "I see. Thank you, I'll make sure to tell everyone."

The Kazekage nodded, before Eugeo left, leaving the former Ichibi Jinchurikii to his own thoughts.

(Linebreak-meanwhile outside)

Bee was in a slightly secluded area, working on his rapping, or rather, an awfully inspired idea of doing haikus with rapping.

As he hummed, a loud boisterous voice reached his ears, "So this is what you spend your time doing?"

The Hachibi Jinchurikii turned to see the blonde knight wearing bright red armor approaching him.

The man raised an eyebrow, "Hmm, who are you, interrupting my flow?"

Nero grinned and made a dramatic pose, "The Red Rose of the Underworld!"

Bee stared at the knight for a moment, before he nodded, "Hmm, not as lit as mine, but yours works just as fine."

Nero's grin widened, and soon enough, the two began trading lines, horrific lines that would cause everyone within hearing range to cringe.

Some distance away, Siegfried sighed and shook his head at the two.

(linebreak)

At the same time, Scheta stood at the other edge of the camp, facing the beach, catching glimpses of crowd and weasels in a distance.

As the knight stood there, a voice sounded from behind, "Lady Knight, may I umm, ask why are you staring off at the ocean alone?"

The Integrity Knight turned to see one of the knights that came with them, taking note that she was one of the students from Centoria's sword mastery academy from her basic customized purple armor.

Scheta stared at the girl passively, "I suppose I am taking watch, in case of an ambush."

Yuuki blinked, before she smiled sheepishly, "I-I see... Do you mind if I join you?"

Scheta regarded the girl again, before she nodded, "Do as you wish."

Yuuki nodded, before she sat down a small distance from Scheta.

The two then watched the sea, taking in the surprisingly peacef sight of waves crashing against the sand.

After a moment of awkward silence, Yuuki asked, "So umm, Lady Knight, would you perhaps know where Kirito is?"

Scheta didn't take her gaze away from the beach, "Hmm, why would you want to know?"

Yuuki smiled, "Well, Eugeo's in this division, so I was just curious where he is."

Scheta nodded, taking note of the familiarity in her tone when she mentioned the two Integrity Knights by name, before she answered, "If that is the case, then wouldn't it be better if you asked Eugeo about it?"

Yuuki smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head, "Well, I did actually, but he just told me Kirito's around in another division."

Scheta nodded, glancing at the girl, "Hmm, I see."

The twelfth Integrity Knight considered for a while, before nodding, "To be frank, Kirito's not on the battle field. He's in one of the ninja villages."

Yuuki blinked confusedly, "Eh, why? Wouldn't it be a waste if Kirito's not here? He's pretty strong, right?"

Scheta nodded, fond memories of the young Integrity Knight, or rather, the god of blades, coming to mind, "I suppose you're correct in that aspect. But that also is where the problem lies, Kirito is not capable of combat as of now. Bringing him here would only put him in more danger."

Yuuki blinked, "W-what?"

The Integrity Knight nodded, "Yes. I am unsure of the details, but something happened, and Kirito became incapable of combat."

The purplenette frowned, "Then why didn't Eugeo just tell us?"

Scheta sighed, "Probably not to worry you and your friends. If memory serves me correctly, Kirito was pretty well known amongst your peers."

Yuuki nodded, "Well, yeah... He was the top student in the academy after all."

The Integrity Knight nodded, "And he went to become one of us. So how would you feel if someone you knew to be strong, suddenly became weak?"

Yuuki nodded, "We'd be worried..."

Scheta nodded, "Exactly, well, of course, you can also take this as another reason to win the war, apart from saving the world."

Yuuki nodded, before she stood up, "Thank you very much, Lady Knight. I'll head back to my post then."

Scheta spared the young girl another glance as she ran back to her post with her friends, leaving the Integrity Knight alone.

The woman then turned her focus back onto the ocean, before a familiar voice broke her thoughts, "Consoling a young girl, that's not like you, Scheta."

The black haired woman turned to see Siegfried walking to her, and she replied passively, "I thought you'd be watching Nero with that Jinchurikii?"

The dragon slayer chuckled, "And potentially damage my sanity? I'll pass."

Scheta offered a small smile at that comment, before Siegfried asked, "So, just curious, you were never one to talk a lot, what made you talk to that girl that much?"

The woman looked at the ocean, "No particular reason. I just felt like it."

Siegfried chuckled, "I see. Well, just wanted to tell you lunch is almost ready, and considering the circumstances, it's better to get the most out of our breaks."

Scheta nodded, "Got it."

The silver haired man then turned and left for the camp, "I'll see you later then."

After a while, Scheta let out a breath, and a certain memory came to mind. A memory from another time.

(Flashback - Approx two centuries ago)

Scheta held her sword in hand, having cut down countless beasts in one of the forests.

It had been a few weeks since she became an Integrity Knight. Quinella had personally chosen her and gave her a Divine Class weapon, the Black Lily Sword.

However, the woman never really interacted with her fellow knights, and she usually spent her time training. Her tendency to stay silence also didn't help.

Now, the woman stared at the corpses of countless wyverns on the ground, sheathing her sword before she heard a voice.

"So this is where you were."

The woman turned to see a young black haired man walking to her, wearing simple clothing.

If anyone saw him, they'd have dismissed him as a simple villager. Scheta knew better.

The woman instinctively went to one knee, "Lord Kazuto."

The aspect of blades chuckled, "No need to be so formal, and no kneeling before me."

Scheta nodded, before she stood up reluctantly.

Kazuto smiled, before looking at the countless boars, bears and wolves in front of them, "Hmm, did you kill all of them?"

Scheta nodded, "Yes. I apologise if this offends you."

The aspect of blades chuckled, "Calm down. I am the god of blades, this much doesn't bother me at all. Contrary to what you'd think, I'm rather impressed, seeing as you did all this with one sword."

The woman glanced down at her sword, the only reason it was visible being her holding it to have the flat side facing her.

Scheta looked at the god, "Does it not bother you? I am someone who likes to cut things in half, and here I am as an Integrity Knight."

Kazuto glanced at the woman, giving her a smile, "You're talking to the god of swords, my domain is made for just that."

Then, his smile lessened, "But, I don't believe you should suppress those desires."

Scheta blinked, staring at the god in surprise. From the short time she knew him, Kazuto was anything but cruel.

The woman asked, "Why would you say so?"

The god just grinned, "Because all you need to do, is steer it in a direction. Well, not saying you shouldn't kill, but you should choose what to cut down."

The man looked at the dead animals, "And well, you don't need to care about what others think. Just do what you want. Hell, king or not, Gilgamesh certainly doesn't give a damn about what others think of him."

Scheta smiled, "I suppose so..."

The god patted the twelfth Integrity Knight on the shoulder, "Just don't close yourself off. Instead of just cutting down anything you see, direct that desire to ones who deserve it."

Scheta merely nodded, before the god turned and headed back for the cathedral, "I'm heading back, and I'll also send some knights to get these corpses. They should do well to keep some of the villages going for several months."

The woman blinked, before she realized her killing spree had resulted in a large amount of meat that could last a village for a few months.

Scheta blinked a few more times, before turning to look at the god's shrinking figure.

After a small moment, the knight decided to head back to her own room.

(Flashback - End)

Scheta let out a breath. That conversation had stuck with her even until now. The woman had always hated the part of her that loved slicing up stuff.

It had also been a reason she had next to no friends before becoming an Integrity Knight, regardless of how long it had been.

Compared to the other knights, Scheta probably didn't interact much with Kazuto. But the god had given her a way to use that desire, and it had helped her conscious a lot. No more did she hold back when she fought with the fear of her desires taking over.

Scheta let a small smile grace her normally stoic features. But the smile immediately disappeared, as she spotted movement within the sands.

Turning to glance at the camp, Scheta's lips thinned before she turned to face the beach, drawing her sword.

The female knight took several steps, taking notice of the subtle movements in the sands.

Then she moved.

In comparison to most other Integrity Knights, under normal circumstances, Scheta lacked power. Her Release Recollection would certainly close the gap, but that was something that shouldn't be used casually.

Instead, she had technique. In fact, amongst her fellow knights, Scheta was probably one of the best technique type fighters.

In that sense, the knight couldn't flush out the enemies. But she could take them out before they could move.

If anyone were to watch, it would seem as if Scheta was swinging nothing but a hilt at the sands, occasionally catching a glimpse of the flat side of a sword.

But underneath the sands, were countless White Zetsu clones in hiding, being cut into pieces before they could even move more than a few steps.

As Scheta dashed along the beach, slicing at the sands, one of the ninja nearby witnessed this, and his eyes widened in realization.

The man immediately turned and ran back to the camp, yelling as he did, "They're here!"

That set everyone into full alert, as they immediately got ready to face the enemy.

But by the time they reached the beach, Scheta had already cut down over half of them. The White Zetsu clones having chosen to emerge from the sands seeing it was useless to hide.

Scheta quickly took notice of the reinforcements, with Killer Bee and Suguha among them.

The knight let out a breath, slicing yet another White Zetsu clone, before letting her comrades take care some of the other clones.

As Scheta took out another three clones, she took notice of Eugeo cutting down a clone, before approaching her, "Scheta, you alright?"

The stoic knight merely nodded, "Yes. It wasn't a problem."

The blonde knight smiled and nodded, "That's good to hear."

Scheta nodded, before cutting down another Zetsu clone.

And before they realized it, they had already cut down all of the clones.

Temari frowned as everyone regrouped, "Hmm, we'll need to extend borders. It's bad enough they managed to sneak up on us like that. Why didn't the sensors sense them?"

Most of the other ninja frowned, unable to answer her question.

Siegfried looked at one of the remains of the clones, "Hmm, could it be possible that these clones are immune, or rather, invisible to your sensors? They are not normal humans, after all."

Temari nodded, "That could be a case... We'll have to report this to HQ... But why didn't we notice this before?"

Suguha answered, "Hmm, we've only fought them yesterday. And come to think of it, we saw them before they attacked."

The others nodded, and Temari turned to head for Gaara's tent, "I'll inform Gaara then. For now, make sure all our borders are watched. We don't want another ambush."

The others nodded. They knew if it wasn't for Scheta, there might have been casualties, and things might not have went as well as it had.

(linebreak)

Later, in Gaara's tent, his sister had just finished reporting the situation to him, and the Kazekage frowned, "So they had means to avoid sensors... That's going to be trouble."

Temari nodded, "I've told my summons to keep a tighter watch on our surroundings, and Itachi had agreed to do so for his crows too. We've also had more guard parties around the camp in case of ambushes."

Gaara nodded, "Thanks... I'll have to contact HQ and tell them. Hopefully we will know what our next step is."

Temari nodded, "I'll go get a Yamanaka to come over then."

The Kazekage nodded, turning his focus on the maps in front of him, "Thanks, go get some rest after that."

The blonde gave her brother a smile before she left the tent, going to fetch a Yamanaka before heading back to her own quarters.

A short moment later, a Yamanaka jounin entered the tent, "Sir, I heard you wanted to send a message to HQ?"

Gaara nodded, "Yeah, it's about the White Zetsu clones that appeared just now."

The Jounin nodded, before flashing through a few handseals and placed his hand on Gaara's shoulder, effectively connecting the Kazekage to HQ.

Gaara let out a breath, and thought, 'Inoichi, do you hear me?'

The Yamanaka clan head's voice came back loud and clear, "Yeah, what is it?"

Gaara focused his thought, 'Just a few hours ago, we engaged with a battalion of White Zetsu clones. Apparently they were planning an ambush, and if it wasn't for Scheta, that ambush would have succeeded.'

Inoichi hmm'd, "I see. I can also assume that none of the sensors felt the clones, is that right?"

Gaara nodded, 'Yeah. So the other divisions had something similar as well?'

Inoichi nodded, "Yes. The third division got hit the worst, well, not saying the worst, considering that they only had a few injuries. But the other divisions didn't suffer a single scratch at all."

The Kazekage nodded, 'I see... That's good then. But then, that gives us another problem too. If the Zetsu clones can't be detected, how can we fight them?'

Inoichi sighed, "Yeah, that is a problem. But unfortunately, we're still at somewhat of a crossroad here. Jiraiya-sama is trying to find the Akatsuki's hideout, and the Dark Territory has yet to make a move too. If we head on to fight the Akatsuki, that god Vector might sweep in and wipe both sides out. Or at least, that's what Bercouli and Shikaku think."

The former Ichibi Jinchurikii nodded, 'I see... That does make sense. Very well, we'll hold the fort until Jiraiya can get more info.'

Inoichi nodded, "Appreciated. Good luck."

With that said, the Yamanaka clan head disconnected, allowing the Yamanaka Jounin to remove his hand from Gaara's shoulder.

Gaara let out a breath, before looking at the Jounin, "Thanks, go get some rest."

The man nodded, before excusing himself and headed for his tent, leaving the Kazekage alone.

(linebreak - Akatsuki hideout)

A few hours later, Zetsu returned to the hideout, reporting the situation to Madara and Obito.

The reanimated Uchiha nodded, "Hmm, I see. Well, given that it's only one day in, I'd be surprised if they pushed all the way forward."

Obito nodded, "True... But, has the Dark Territory forces moved yet?"

Zetsu shook his head, "No, they seem to be really taking their time."

Madara huffed, "Well, considering what we know of their forces, they wouldn't want to charge in, lest they risk having their side wiped out."

Obito nodded, before he looked at the data he had, "Hmm, well, we lost roughly an eighth of our clones, and apparently the Alliance suffered no loses at all. What do we do now?"

Madara narrowed his eyes, "Hmm, the Bijuu should be saved for later, same for the Gedo Mazo. I say we let the reanimated forces go out."

The masked Uchiha nodded, "Hmm, that's one way of doing it."

The reanimation looked at the Gedo Mazo, sitting some distance away beside the Zetsu farm, "And if all doesn't go well, I'll head out."

Obito merely nodded, before he went to ready the reanimated army he had in other hall.

(linebreak - Next day)

The next day, with the second division, Gaara looked on in front of the camp, to the direction where the Akatsuki hideout supposedly was, and the direction where the camp of the Dark Territory was said to be.

The Kazekage narrowed his eyes, thinking about the Ichibi he used to hold.

However, he was pulled from his thoughts when he heard someone speak, "Are you thinking about where they're gonna attack next?"

Gaara turned his head to see Siegfried standing beside him.

The Kazekage regarded the knight, "Sort of, I'm more concerned about the Bijuu they have in their possession."

The dragon slayer nodded, "If I remember correctly, the Ichibi, Yonbi, Gobi and the Rokubi. Four Bijuu."

Gaara nodded, "And that's why one of the reasons why we split the alliance into four divisions. One division for one Bijuu."

Siegfried nodded, "Hmm... But, I believe we can handle anything they throw at us. Not to say that the Bijuu are to be weapons, but, we have two Jinchurikii with our division, and one in each of the others. Plus, we have our Integrity Knights. It would take a lot more than one Bijuu to take us down. "

Gaara stared at the vast openings in front of him, before he nodded, "I suppose that is the case, isn't it..."

Siegfried nodded, "Yeah, so I don't think we need to worry much."

The Kazekage stared at the openings in front of him, before he nodded, "I suppose you're right."

The knight smiled, before they spotted something at a distance.

Gaara narrowed his eyes, glancing at the Integrity Knight, "Alert everyone. Get them ready."

Siegfried nodded, immediately turning for the center of the camp.

As for Gaara, the Kazekage took several steps forward, eyeing the vast army of White Zetsu clones, easily numbering up to a thousand.

Then the former Jinchurikii frowned. He hoped his eyes weren't deceiving him. But fate wasn't as kind to him, it never was.

The Kazekage frowned, spotting many shinobi walking among the White Zetsu clones, the army stopping some distance away from him.

Leading them were three ninja, three that anyone from Suna, Iwa and Kiri would recognize.

The worst thing of all, one of them was someone he knew very well.

The man spotted Gaara's sole figure in front of the camp, and he spoke, "Hmm, I assume you're Gaara?"

The Kazekage stared at the man, forcing himself to calm down.

The man raised an eyebrow, "I'll take that silence as a yes then."

Gaara took a breath, before he spoke, "Yondaime Kazekage, how are you here?"

Rasa stared at his son passively, "Reanimation."

The Godaime Kazekage let out a breath, cursing inwardly, "Edo Tensei, huh..."

Rasa nodded, "Unfortunately, yes. Seeing as you're out here alone, I assume your prowess as a weapon has not deterred."

Gaara stared at his father, "You've got that wrong. I'm not here as a weapon. I'm here as the Godaime Kazekage."

Rasa blinked, he blinked again, before he chuckled, which slowly evolved into full blown laughter.

One of the other reanimated ninja looked at the fourth Kazekage, "Oi, Yondaime Kazekage, what's so funny?"

Rasa glanced back at the man, the former Niidaime Mizukage, "Ah, sorry."

The dead Kazekage looked at Gaara, his eyes filled with guilt and regret, "You see, my son over there... He was supposed to be a weapon for my village. But now, apparently he's the Fifth Kazekage."

The Niidaime Mizukage raised an eyebrow, clearly recognising the resemblance, "Hmm, a weapon? That's fucked up. But well, can't blame ya."

Rasa nodded, before he looked at Gaara, "If you're the new Kazekage, then clearly the village has made a wrong decision."

The current Kazekage huffed, "I'm not the weapon you molded. Not anymore."

Rasa stared at his son, before noticing the battalion of the second division gathering behind the Kazekage, "Hmm, if that's the case. Prove it."

Gaara merely nodded, before Temari stepped forward to stand beside her brother, eyes widened, "W-what?"

Rasa regarded the girl, "Temari, it's been a while, hasn't it?"

The woman blinked, "F-father?!"

Gaara nodded, "Apparently the enemy has access to the Edo Tensei. They have multiple ninja in their ranks, including the Niidaime Mizukage, Niidaime Tsuchikage, and our father."

Standing in front of the reanimated ninja, the Niidaime Tsuchikage raised an eyebrow, "Oh, so the current Kazekage knows of us? That is certainly an honour."

Rasa glanced at the other two Kage, "Enough. I wasn't keen on fighting, but, if my son has become the fifth Kazekage, then I'll have to test him."

The Niidaime Mizukage chuckled, "Fine fine... So, who do I take?"

Gaara regarded the three former Kage, before he glanced at the Integrity Knights, "Eugeo-san, I'll take on my father, can you take on the Niidaime Mizukage? He's an expert on water based techniques and genjutsu."

Eugeo stared at the former leader of Kiri, "Very well. I'll try."

Suguha nodded, "I'll back you up."

The blue knight nodded in appreciation.

Siegfried then looked at the Niidaime Tsuchikage, "Then, I'll take on that mummy, is that okay?"

Nero grinned and stepped to stand beside the blonde, "I'll help."

Gaara nodded, "Yeah, appreciate it."

Scheta sighed and nodded, "I'll help out too."

Eugeo nodded, before he turned and looked at Gorgolosso, "Gorgolosso-senpai, can you take charge of our knights?"

The other normal knights blinked upon seeing the Integrity Knight addressing the young but obviously strong man.

Gorgolosso nodded firmly, "Got it, count on me."

Eugeo smiled, before he turned to face the Mizukage, with Nero holding her sword firmly beside him.

Gaara nodded as the knights stood beside him, and he looked at his sister, "Temari, watch my back. We'll take down our father."

The older sister of the Kazekage blinked, before she nodded determinedly, and followed her brother to meet their late father.

Then, on an unseen signal, both armies charged.

As the two armies clashed, Gaara looked at his father, both Kazekage's silent and not moving at all.

Temari merely gripped her fan tightly, not moving her eyes away from her father.

The Godaime Kazekage let out a breath, "Temari, watch him, we don't really know the full extent of his powers. I'll engage, you analyse, and then we'll see what to do."

Temari looked at him, before she nodded, "Be careful."

Gaara only nodded, and he stepped forward to face his father.

Looking at his son, Rasa raised an eyebrow, "You're facing me alone?"

Gaara stared at his reanimated father in the eye, "Yes."

The Fourth Kazekage nodded, "Very well. Let us begin."

Immediately, a wave of golden sand rose from the ground from behind Rasa.

In response, an equally large wave of normal sand rose from the ground behind Gaara.

The two waves of sand clashed, before, to Gaara's shock, the golden wave pushed his wave down.

Rasa let out a breath, "Don't be so surprised. Gold is still heavier than normal sand."

Gaara calmed himself down, before he nodded, "I see. That makes sense."

The former Jinchurikii reminded himself he still had the advantage of volume. The sand from the beach was just a small distance away, but his father's golden sand was limited in volume.

Then, before anyone could react, the two waves of sand clashed again.

But this time, the golden sand was brought down, as Gaara used three times the amount of sand he previously used.

Rasa raised an eyebrow, "Oh, I see you've gotten quite some control over the Shukaku's powers."

Gaara shook his head, "I'm no longer the Shukaku's Jinchurikii. It was extracted from my body by the Akatsuki a long time ago."

The former Kazekage blinked. That didn't make any sense. His ability didn't allow control over sand at all, his magnet release only allowed control over metal, in his case, gold.

In fact, his magnet release wasn't even a bloodline at all. It was only through extensive research that he had managed to recreate the Sandaime Kazekage's magnet release.

So how could Gaara, someone who had no ability over magnet release nor a bloodline, control sand without the Shukaku?

Rasa cursed himself for getting caught in his thoughts as he noticed a claw made of sand flying at him.

It was only because of his experience that he managed to use his golden sand to slow it down enough for him to jump away.

As soon as he landed on the ground, Rasa's eyes widened as he felt something grab hold of his ankle, and he glanced down to see a sand arm attached to his feet.

Cursing himself for his carelessness, the man infused his legs with chakra and forcefully pushed himself off the ground, quickly summoning a platform of golden sand.

Gaara narrowed his eyes as he studied his father's body. The current Kazekage could pretty much see the tell tale features of the Edo Tensei.

The problem was he had no idea how to beat it.

The Kazekage glanced at his sister, who nodded him, also having similar thoughts.

Gaara looked back at Rasa, and quickly made a message engraved in a small slab of sand before he charged forward towards his father.

As Gaara traded sand blows with Rasa, Temari quickly saw the slab of sand flying towards her. The Kazekage's sister narrowed her eyes before she turned around, spotting a Yamanaka jounin amidst the raging battle.

The princess of Suna quickly caught the Yamanaka jounin's attention, and she spoke, "Connect me with HQ now."

The Yamanaka nodded, not wasting time as they hopped to a safer area.

In a moment, Inoichi's voice sounded in her mind, "Temari? What is it?"

The blonde closed her eyes, "Edo Tensei. The enemy has the Edo Tensei."

Inoichi nodded, "I see, and it seems you're not the only ones."

Temari frowned, "So Orochimaru is working with the Akatsuki?"

Inoichi didn't reply, instead, Shikaku's voice came through, "No, we don't think so. Jiraiya-sama believes he values his experiments too much to participate in a war, which would further paint a huge target on his back. Rather, we think someone else stole it."

Temari nodded, "I see. Then how do we beat it?"

Shikaku nodded, "You seal them. I was just about to broadcast the info. The First Division also engaged with the Edo Tensei, and Hikari told us sealing them is the only way to do so."

Temari nodded, "I see, got it. I think Gaara has just the thing."

The Nara clan head nodded, "Got it, good luck."

The princess of Suna merely nodded, before the connection cut off.

Temari nodded at the Yamanaka Jounin, "Thanks, we know how to take down the Edo Tensei. Tell everyone to use fuinjutsu if they know any."

The Jounin nodded, "Got it."

Temari nodded, before she leaped back for Gaara.

The Jounin then prepared to broadcast the message throughout the battlefield.

With Gaara and Rasa, the two Kazekages clashed sands countless times.

Rasa would try to use his heavier sand to pull down on Gaara's, and in response, Gaara would use his overwhelming amount to counter it.

Rasa let out a breath, "Not bad, Gaara."

The Fifth Kazekage huffed, "I told you, I'm not the weapon you made."

The former Kazekage nodded, "So you claim."

The former Jinchurikii then flicked a wrist, sending yet another trail of sand at his father.

In response, Rasa did the same with his golden sand.

The two streams of sand clashed against each other, forming a stalemate yet again.

Then, Temari landed by Gaara's side, something that both Kazekages didn't miss.

Gaara glanced at his sister, "So, what have you got?"

Temari looked at her youngest brother, "Sealing him is the only way we can beat him."

The current Kazekage nodded, "I see."

Rasa nodded, "But you'll need a suitable seal. I doubt any of you here knows fuinjutsu."

Gaara shook his head, "No, I might have something that might work."

The Fourth Kazekage raised an eyebrow, "Really? Well, by all means try it, but I doubt my body will just let you."

The Godaime Kazekage stared at his father, "We'll see about that. Temari, back me up."

The blonde woman smirked, "About time."

In an instant, a platform of sand formed near her, and Temari quickly jumped onto it.

Gaara stared at Rasa and raised a hand, "Suna Shigure."

A cloud of sand formed above them, sending showers of sand shooting down at Rasa. The former Kazekage cursed, quickly forming a barrier of golden sand around him, effectively shielding himself from the sand shower.

That is, if not for Temari, "Fūton: Ōkamaitachi no Jutsu!"

Swinging her massive battle fan, the blonde unleashed multiple cyclones at her father, effectively blowing away Rasa's golden sand, leaving but the platform he had been using.

Rasa could only gape in awe at how strong his daughter had become, right as several streams of sand wrapped themselves around his waist, before more sand immediately latched on, holding him in place effectively.

The former Kazekage nodded, "I see, well done. But how will you seal me?"

Gaara merely raised his arm, "Sabaku Sotaiso... Fuin."

In an instant, the sand layered up, forming a pyramid as seals ran over it.

Rasa smirked as the sand quickly covered his vision, "Well done, Godaime Kazekage."

Then, the former Kazekage closed his eyes, before allowing his body to be sealed in the massive pyramid.

Gaara let out a breath, "That's over."

Temari nodded, "Yeah..."

The Kazekage turned and faced the raging battle in front of him, "Let's go, the battle's still going on."

The older sister of the sand siblings nodded, before they headed back to the battle again.

(linebreak- same time as the battle started)

On another area in the battlefield, Eugeo and Suguha faced the Niidaime Mizukage.

As the battle raged around them, the former Mizukage raised an eyebrow, "Hmm, so you kids are my opponents, eh? You two seem quite strong. And well, considering the circumstances, I suppose its the best to not send everyone else at us, right?"

Eugeo gripped his sword, "We'll definitely take you down."

Gengetsu smirked, "Heh, I know you will. Besides, I don't really wanna see my villagers killed off, especially by my own hands."

Suguha nodded, "Then we'll have to take you down here."

The Hozuki chuckled, "Of course you will. Listen up, I excel at genjutsu and water based ninjutsu. My taijutsu is decent at best, for a Kage anyway."

Suguha nodded, understanding what he meant. It meant while close ranged combat was the best way to go, it didn't mean they should underestimate him.

Eugeo nodded, "I don't suppose you can give us more clues?"

Gengetsu chuckled, "I suppose I can. My genjutsu primarily relies on my clam summons. Keep from that, and I won't be able to use my genjutsu. As for my water ninjutsu, I use them as hyper condensed bullets."

Before he could continue however, the Niidaime Mizukage's body stiffened, "Ah crap, guess whoever summoned me doesn't want me to reveal anymore. I'll try to help you out as we fight, okay?"

Slowly the reanimated ninja raised his hand, forming a finger pistol, "Dodge!"

Instantly, a bullet of water formed at his fingertips, before it shot out towards the two.

Not missing a beat, Suguha and Eugeo managed to roll out of the way.

Eugeo rolled to his feet, gripping his sword, before he shared a nod with Suguha, and the two swordsmen charged forward to face the Niidaime Mizukage.
