This the third part. One more Part is left , plus an additional chapter. Also , The final chapter of this story will not be a summary , but will be released in chapter 22 as the final part of the story. It includes ... Oops , I was gonna tell you , but I changed my mind!

Chapter 51 : Within the hidden underground city of the Holy Republic , Samael addresses the gathered angelic forces. He states that the end of the Sorcerous Kingdom corrupt rule in nigh , and together they will cleanse the stain of Nazarick from the face of the world. 100,000 angels salute their leader and hail Abaddon , and using the constructed Gates begin their Invasion.

In The Throne room of Nazarick , Malak and the Guardians discuss the events that has happened. A few days before Ainz and Malak return , in the former territories of the Holy Republic , The angelic armies of Seraphim that had rebuild themselves over the past century begin a coordinated attack on the Sorcerous Kingdom military and governmental bases. With the help of the Holy church that was secretly helping the remnants of the Holy republic and preparing people for their return , they manage to secure their former strongholds with little resistance from the public. Since they had already detected the spies lurking within their former domain , they crippled the spy network of Nazarick , preventing the flow of information to the outside of their border. Also , thanks to their sleeper agent within the Sorcerous Kingdom government , Saronan Mallazar who was only pretending to have converted to the Faith of the Forty one , they learned of the Ainz and Malak return date and plotted to sever the head of Nazarick by capturing both of them at once , which partly failed. Regardless , more than thirty percent of the world has fallen to the Holy Republic. Considering the fact that more than 30,000 soldiers of Nazardoom were killed , The Sorcerous Kingdom effective military forces is down to 110,000 soldiers. Malak and the Guardians discuss the necessary strategies required to combat the threat of the Holy Republic. Albedo adamantly insist that a search and rescue team must be put together to find Ainz , But Demiurge objects , saying that Ainz is most likely back at Essos and it is impossible for them to make contact with him and their colonies. There were only three Interdimensional Gates in existence , The one that was destroyed , The one in Myr , and the one in the city of Marillian which is now under control of Holy Republic. Cocytus states that at this critical situation , Nazarick must maintain it's unity and leadership. With Ainz fate unknown , the Guardians urge Malak to take the command of the Sorcerous Kingdom and lead the fight against the resurgent Holy Republic. Malak reluctantly agrees , and proceeds to sit upon the Throne of Kings. The Floor Guardians and Area Guardians of Nazarick kneel in servitude and acknowledge Malak as their supreme ruler.

Back in the Lands of Always Winter , Ainz plans to use teleportation to return to Myr , but then he encounters a strange undead creature that is riding a dead horse and is seemingly made out of ice. He thinks this undead is quite similar to an certain type of undead knight from Yggdrasil , and due to his desire to collect rare creatures , he uses his Dominate Undead skill to force it into his submission. The White Walker leads Ainz to their base of operation , the Heart of Winter, where Ainz meet the Night King. Ainz tries to talk with the Night King , but he uses his own type of domination skill on Ainz. Ainz that finds himself under attack by an unknown skill , counter the Night King by his own Dominate Undead Skill. The two get locked in a struggle for dominion.

Chapter 52: Back in Myr , Renner has realized something must have gone wrong. Since Malak is not back and the connection with the Gate is disabled. She quickly comes to the conclusion that the threat they were worried about has returned. In order to maintain the stability of their colonies and preventing the other Free cities from using Malak absence to their advantage , she keeps this information hidden from everyone except her fellow sisters.

In the North , Zanac manages to easily capture Deepwood Moot from the small forces of Ironborn. He captures Asha in the process , but chose to treat her fairly until he receives orders from Renner on how to deal with her. Because of the heavy snow fall , they chose to make camp at Deepwood Moot and wait for the treacherous weather to pass.

At the Wall , Jon decides to send a disguised Mance Rayder to Winterfell alongside a small group of spearwives to rescue Arya.

Chapter 53 : In Kingslanding , Joffrey wants to travel to the Vale himself in order to force Littlefinger to submit to his orders and to send the Knights of Vale against the Iron Throne enemies. Cersei and the small council warn him not to do so , reminding him of Defiance of Duskendale and the Mad King imprisonment by Lord Denys Darklyn. But Joffrey rebuffs their advice and calls them cowards , saying that he is nothing like the Mad King and that he will go to the Vale with an army at his back. Margaery supports joffrey , much to Cersei's bitterness. Cersei says that in order to ensure the King's safety and reduce the chances of Littlefinger defiance , Joffrey should travel to Riverrun first. Since by joining his forces with Jaime he can add extra men to his army and have an experienced battle commander at his side to cow the whoremonger into submission. Joffrey accepts this , and marches from Kingslanding to Riverrun with 5000 men from Westerlands and Stormlands.

Chapter 54-55-56 : (The events of this three chapters happens at the same time as the previous three chapters)

In the Sorcerous Kingdom, Malak has gathered her forces and battles against the Holy republic. Though she initially had some success in launching a counterattack , the leaderships of the Holy Republic soon prove themselves well adapted to her strategies. Having spend the last century studying Nazardoom's military tactics and developing countermeasures to them , they manage to defeat the Sorcerous Kingdom armies and drive them back , adding more territories to their main land. Malak witness Arthas , who is wearing Artanis armor , in the battlefield. Though enraged at the concept of a stranger wearing the World Guardian armor , she is forced to withdraw from battle without engaging him in combat. Malak realizes that she won't be able to win against this enemy using her old tactics and usual ways , so she tries to think outside the box and comes up with a new unorthodox method. Even though the chance of failure is high , she knows that there might be no Sorcerous Kingdom left within a few years if things continue as they are.

Back at the Heart of Winter , The Night King who is now wearing a Relic class full plated magical armor with skull engraving , a magical helmet forged with black steel and with a blade like crown and a magical great sword , watches as his army grows ever larger. His white walkers are all equipped by High class magical armors and blades as well. There are hundreds of midtier undead within their rank as well with more getting add every day. He then turn around to see his master Ainz arriving at the back of the ice dragon that he dominated. The Night King bows to Ainz and delivers his report to the Great King of Death. He raises his head when Ainz gives him the permission , and looks at the eyes of his master that are burning like stars with blue flames dancing within.

(The armor that Ainz gave the Night King enhance his defense to a high level , so even Valyrian steel can't break through it. His sword is called Frostbane and can use special ice related attacks similar to Cocytus , but naturally of an inferior level. His new crown gives him the ability to summon/create twenty low tier undead or ten mid tier undead every day. You can say his level is around 50 by now. The white walkers armors and blades is made by Ainz using Create Greater Item. Their level is around 30.)

Chapter 57 : Mance arrives at Winterfell , where some of the Northen lords are present as well. The Boltons declare their intent to fight the foreign invaders. They declare that Sansa Stark plans to hand over the North to his husband who is not even from Westeros , let alone the North , and has murdered members of house Umber and taken the Umber Boy has hostage. She has allied herself with wildlings and has forcibly wedded Alys Karstark to a wildling warchief to gain their loyalty. All of the gathered lords agree with lord Bolton and declare their support for house Bolton. Theon stumbles upon the group as they try to sneak into Arya's chambers. Determined to redeem himself by freeing Jeyne , or failing that to cut both of their throats should their escape fail , He chose to help them. They manage to enter Arya's chamber and pass the Bolton guards with Theon's help. They take the visibly scared and scarred Arya out of her quarters. They are discovered by Bolton's men upon Winterfell walls however , who alarms the castle. Mance and spearwives try to stall them , as Theon grabs Jeyne and jumps of the wall to land on the thick layers of snow. With his ribs broken and Jeyne to scared to move , He thinks about taking both of their lives rather than letting themselves to be captured by Ramsay. But then they are rescued by a small group of men who says they are here on a mission by Zanac.

Chapter 58 : Joffrey and Jaime meet on the Kingsroad. Despite Jaime inner wish to return to Kingslanding to confront Cersei , he travels with the King to Vale.

Back in the North , a group of Bolton's men led by Ramsay try to sneak into Zanac's camp and burn their stock , but their attempt is detected and with the help of Asha and her Ironborn and they are forced to run away. Afterwards , Zanac's men whom were sent to Winterfell as spies return , bringing a sickly young girl and an old man with them. Asha doesn't recognize either of them , but is then horrified when Theon teases her , saying that this time he recognized his sister and she did not recognized her brother.

Joffrey and Jaime arrive at the Bloody Gates , where they are greeted by one of the Lords of Vale send by Littlefinger as an envoy. Joffrey is upset that Littlefinger himself didn't come to greet him and has instead send a minor vassal in his place. The envoy courtly apologize to the king for this matter , and ask the king and ser jaime to enter the Eyrie , where Lord Littlefinger has prepared a feast to welcome the King. Despite jaime's objection , joffrey decides to pass the Bloody Gates without his army leaving most of his men behind. The King meets with Littlefinger and the lords of the Vale whom greet him. Joffrey state his demands. The Vale armies must march against Sansa Stark forces to the North , while their Navy must join forces with the Royal Navy to battle the Ironborn. Littlefinger tries to convince the King that his demands shall be met , but asks for some time (about three months) to gather their forces. He does this to prevent their forces leaving the Vale before winter and the harvest of the last crops , but Joffrey isn't pleased by his answer and stands adamant that they must march within a fortnight. He further upsets the Lords of the Vale with his demands of foodstuff for King'slanding , since the Tyrells are currently unable to give much aid to the Iron Throne in that matter. Upset by Joffrey's attitude , the lords of Vale arrest the king and his party and throw them into Eyrie's dungeon. Thus , the Defiance of the Vale begins.

Chapter 59 : Jaime receive word of the King's arrest , but knows that he will not be able to pass the Bloody Gates with his army. He sends a raven to King'slanding to inform the court of what has happened.

Oberyn Martell arrives at Meereen with Quentyn and Tyrion Lannister and meets with Daenerys. They offer her theirs and Dorne allegiance , alongside the support of Malak to reclaim the Iron Throne. Daenerys is pleased by the idea , especially since she has heard much about Malak's effort to abolish the salve trade and her success in it. But when Oberyn states that she is required to marry Quentyn in order to cement this alliance , She apologizes to them , Having already promised her hand to a Meereen's noble (Hizdahr) in order to ensure peace in her city. Though disappointed , the group refuse to return to Dorne empty handed. Oberyn offers Daenrys his help to bring peace to Meereen , in order to speed up her return to Westeros.

Chapter 60 : Jon snow decides to travel to Hardhome to recruit more of the free folk to his cause. Sansa choose to travel with Jon as well. Jon is strongly against the idea , But Sansa states that her presence and word as the Queen of the North can convince the Free Folk to join them. She calls for Sigorn to accompany them as well , and orders her own guards , including Dullahan Knights , with Jon to ensure his safety. Jon isn't pleased by their company , as he finds the big silent Knights unnerving , but agrees to take them along. They leave castle Black for Eastwatch , from where they travel to Hardhome with ships.

Chapter 61 : In Kingslanding , Cersei is furious when she learns of what happened in the Vale. She sends a raven to Jaime and orders him to rescue Joffrey by any means necessary , and to cut off Littlefinger's head for his defiance.

Back in the North , Zanac considers hanging Theon for his betrayal to House Stark in order to appease the Northen Houses. He receives a message from Renner however , telling him to keep Theon alive for the time being. Asha , not knowing about Renner's message , begs Zanac not to kill Theon. Zanac pretend to accept her plea by his own decision in order to make her indebted to him. He asks Asha for her loyalty in return , which she accepts.

Jon and Sansa arrive at Hardhome , alongside of Sigorn and Tormund. The Freefolk are not pleased by the sights of the Black Brothers and the southern Knights and almost come to a violent confrontation when the Lord of Bones accused Tormund and Sigorn of siding with the Night's Watch. In response , Sigon kills the lord of bones while Tormund calls a meeting with the elders. Jon and Sansa offer the Freefolk shelter beyond the Wall , in exchange for their help in fighting against the white walkers. The Freefolk are skeptical of their intention , and question Mance whereabouts. Tormund defends Jon , saying that many of the crows wanted Mance dead but Jon decided otherwise. Sigorn also supports Sansa. He tells them that she is a strong woman and a capable leader. Sansa insists on the point that she doesn't need the Freefolk to kneel for her , only to help them fight against the white walker and live with the rest of the Northeners as equals. The Freefolks elders , seeing both Sigorn and Tormund support of Jon and Sansa and knowing that they have no chance of survival beyond the Wall , agree to come south with them. Only a few clans , mostly the ice river clans , refuse to come south out of their mistrust for the Night's Watch.

Chapter 62 : Jaime , after receiving his orders , contemplate on what to do. He considers sending men inside the Vale within the cover of night to rescue the king , But personally wonders if it is the right thing to do. Remembering the Mad King at Duskendale , who ordered all of the castle to be put to sword and the similarity between the situations , he thinks it might be best if Joffrey doesn't come out of the Vale alive. Having no feelings for the cruel mad boy that doesn't even know he is his son and believing the realm would have been better served if he died during his wedding , he prefers not to rescue him. He sends a messenger to the Vale to order Littlefinger to free the king. The messenger comes back in less than half a day , bearing Littlefinger's message. Littlefinger demands the royal army to leave Vale in few days , otherwise he will send back the king to the Iron Throne one piece at a time. Jaime is surprised at littlefinger for making such serious threats , but chooses to accept his demands and tell the messenger they will withdraw once he sees the king personally to ensure that he is still alive.

In Hardhome , the evacuation of the Freefolk has begun. More and more people get on boats to leave for the ships. Sansa and Jon , alongside Tormund , watch the transportation. Sansa argues that the ships are nearly full , having nearly 6000 men and women on them. Jon express his concerns as well , telling Tormund that the rest of the Freefolk will have to travel by land to the Wall. Tormund isn't pleased by the idea , since by leaving Hardhome walls they could be attacked by the white walkers. Sigorn , who is standing near the wooden barricades , sense that something is going on when the dogs begin to hound. The air changes as well , becoming colder , while the sky begins to darken by the clouds that have appeared out of nowhere. Suddenly , screams are heard from a distance. When looks beyond the wooden wall , he sees that an avalanche is descending upon the freefolk from the top of the mountain , while people run away in horror. He quickly realizes what's going on , and orders the gate to be sealed shut. Sansa , at the urging of Jon , leaves on a boat.

The army of the dead attack Hardhome. The defenders , aided by Dullahan Knights that Sansa has brought along , put up a hard resistance to by time for more people to evacuate. Jon is confronted by a white walker and is nearly killed , but he manages to kill it with Longclaw , much to the interest of Ainz and the Night King who are watching the battle from above the cliffs. Ainz orders his Death Knights to attack and destroy the barricades. Once the wall is breached the dead swarm the town. The Dullahan Knights fight back , but Ainz's undead have much higher stats than those made by Malak , and so they manage to overwhelm them by sheer number and brute force. Jon , Tormund and Sigorn manage to escape on a boat , but everyone else is slaughtered as the group watch in despair. Ainz stays hidden and watch the events from afar , while the Night King appears to the group of survivors. To Jon's horror , The Night King reanimated the corpse of all the fallen and creates several midtier undead as well. Jon , overcome with despair , looks around in defeat.

( Note : so yes ... all the midtier undead that Sansa had brought with her to the North are now dead. Ainz can strengthen his summons because of his special skills as an Overlord. Malak doesn't have such skills , so her undead are , to a degree , weaker than those made by Ainz. The only way her undead could have a chance of defeating Ainz's undead is if she is there to buff them with her commander type abilities and lead them in battle personally.)

Chapter 63 : Jaime meets Joffrey outside of the Eyrie , and without anyone noticing , poisons the king when he touches his hand with his poisoned laced leather gloves. The poison is subtle and will show symptoms after a few day , but by then it would be too late to save the victim. Afterwards Jaime leaves the Vale with his army , but has them stationed near the Vale borders , effectively cutting off the Vale from the rest of Westeros by land. Littlefinger is rather pleased by this decision , since it would prevent the flow of food from Vale to the outside by land. Joffrey finally dies in his room in Vale. Littlefinger thinks it might be one of the lords of Vale who has done this. He thinks that this is most likely a plot to undermine his authority and take his place as Lord Protector. In order to keep the wrath of Cersei from falling on Vale , he decides to keep Joffrey death a secret.

Jon and the rest return to the Eastwatch and travel to Castle Black from there. They settle the surviving freefolk in Mole town and the Gift. They receive a cold welcome from most of the Black brothers , but are in no mood to mind it. Jon decides to proceed with the plan to man the empty castles with the freefolk , while Sansa sends a letter to Myr to ask Renner for reinforcement.

Chapter 64 : Back in Myr , the greyscale plague has began to spread. Renner issues an immediate quarantine of all the infected , and issues a nationwide order that forbids people from leaving their homes other than for most important works and requires them to wear leather gloves when they are outside and wash their hands constantly. News arrive that this plague has appeared in several other cities as well , with tens of thousands infected within a month before it arrived on Myr. Investigations shows that the plague originated from Volantis , and then spread to other cities through their caravans and trade ships. The priests of Ariel begins to heal the infected from the greyscale , which astounds people since it was believed that greyscale has no cure. Of all the free cities , only Myr is successful in overcoming the plague. After the plague is fully contained and eliminated within the Triarchy , Renner blames Volantis for this incident , claiming that the release of the plague was intentional and that Volantis sought to destroy the Savior's nation with a disease , But their plan backfired and now all of free cities are endangered by their actions. Renner declares Volantis under sanctions , and forbids all the cities that are under her control to trade with them. She also threatens Braavos , warning them about the sanctions they will have to endure as well if they trade anything but foodstuff with Volantis. She also honey pot the Braavosies , telling them that if they trade with Myr , she will gift them with special trade rights. This strategy work and Volantis trade ability falls dramatically , making the free city easy prey for the Triarchy future conquest plans.

( Note : yeah , you guessed right. This whole Grey Scale pandemic was inspired by Covid-19 virus outbreak. Renner actions were inspired by Trump's deeds as well. Not that I intend to compare their intellect with each other and consider them equal! No one can match Trump in intelligence! It would be very insulting to think otherwise!)

Chapter 65 : In Meereen , Oberyn helps Daenerys cement his control over the city. The sons of the harpy continue their attacks of the Unsullied and the freed men. The Yunkai prepare for war. They by several sellsword companies and make alliances with other cities in Slaver Bay against Daenerys. Tyrion tries to use his diplomatic skill to talk with Yunkai and convince them to stand down , by giving the slavers time to remove the slavery system slowly. Daenerys is against the idea and outright reject it when Tyrion says ten years time would be needed. After much talk , Daenerys is convinced to give the salvers five years to adapt their society to live without slavery. She allows the freemen whom they themselves wishes to be sold into slavery to escape a life of poverty to be sold in slave markets. In exchange the slavers agree to give Meereen peace. The deal is cemented once Daenerys wed Hizdahr.

Sansa has sent her message to Renner , but it would take some time before she receives an answer. In the mean time , Zanac secures the loyalty of a few minor houses. The Stark forces control nearly half of the North by now , but Bolton forces still hold the advantage in numbers and Winterfell. The Manderlys , ruling house of the White harbor , stand in Winterfell alongside 2000 Frey soldiers send by Walder Frey and commanded by two of his sons. Their alliance is an uneasy one however. Though House Manderly has returned to King's peace and have agreed to marry one of their daughters to a Frey in the future , they are bitter about their losses in the Red wedding. Zanac decides to march to Stony Shore , to make the Ironborn loyal to Asha to give up their conquered lands and uses this to gain the loyalty of more houses. Ramsay and a small group of his men attack their camp in the middle of the night and destroy most of their food and rations , but they fail to kill their horses. Zanac proceed with his plans however , having packed emergency rations in anticipation of a situation like this.

Chapter 66 : Sansa receives an answer from Renner. She is informed that due to the outbreak and hostilities formed between Myr and Volantis , no reinforcements can come to her aid in less than three months. She will have to work with Zanac and find a way to claim the North on her own. Desperate for aid , she talks to Jon about convincing the freefolk to join their fight against Boltons. Jon disagrees , as it was not the deal they made with them. Soon , word arrive at castle Black from Zanac , informing the pair of the situation on the front-lines. Zanac intends to gather all of their forces and march on to Winterfell , so he calls for Sansa presence to help boost the morale of the Northen houses that have allied themselves with her in the battle.

Cersei is furious at Jaime's failure , but she hesitate to take action against the Vale in fear of Joffrey's safety. She blames Margaery for all of this , and tries to undermine her influence in the court. She meets with the new High Septon of the Faith in order to clear the Iron Throne debts and to sway him to her side. She finds the newly elected High septon to be as pious as she was told. She agrees to reinstate the Swords and Stars , the military wing of the Faith , to clear the Iron Throne's debt. The high sparrow also ensures the queen that the Warrior would rise his sword to cleanse the realm of non-believers and heretics. Cersei is very pleased by herself and her accomplishments , not knowing that she was actually played by High Sparrow to give him the power he wanted.

Chapter 67 : The Faith's militant begin to cleanse the capital of all sins. They destroy all beers and wines , beat up whores and close brothels , and destroy anything belonging to heretic and false faiths. They arrest Loras Tyrell for his crimes of perversion. Queen Margaery is enraged , but without Joffrey's support she is unable to confront the Faith. Olenna arrives in King's Landing and warns Cersei that imprisoning Loras has jeopardized their alliance. At Loras' inquest, Loras and Margaery both deny his homosexuality. The male prostitute, Olyvar, contradicts their testimony, and Margaery is arrested for lying to the gods.

In Meereen, Hizdahr again appeals to Daenerys to reopen the fighting pits, a local tradition. The Sons of the Harpy ambush an Unsullied patrol inside the citadel, wounding Grey Worm and Barristan Selmy. They are nearly killed , but their lives is saved by Oberyn Martell. Daenerys , upset by this events , gathers some of the meereenes Nobles and feed one of them to her dragons and imprison the others. She later agrees to reopen the pits and marries Hizdahr.

Chapter 68 : Sansa leaves castle Black with all of her forces. Jon decides to stay at Castle Black in order to help organize the black brothers and the free folk. Due to Sansa's advice , Jon sends ser Aliser Thorne and a squad of other rangers who are his followers beyond the Wall to scout the Haunted Forest for the Army of the Dead. Aliser is upset at the mission the bastard boy is sending him on , believing Jon wishes him dead. Jon assures him that is not the case and promise him that if he manages to bring good information or better yet , a wight to prove their existence to Westeros , there will be a great reward. Aliser promises to return , and warns Jon that he better hope its the cold or some wildling blade that will kill him and not the White Walkers , as those who are killed by the Others return and they remember.

In King'slanding , The High Sparrow denies Olenna's demand that Loras and Margaery be released. Cersei arrives to meet High Sparrow under the pretend that she is worried for her daughter in law welfare. Before she could leave however , the High Sparrow lectures her again that all men and women are equal before the eyes of the gods and must answer for their sins. Cersei , feeling unease by the appearance of Lancel who has joined the warrior's sons , attempts to leave but is stopped by a septa. The High Sparrow then arrests Cersei for her earlier affair with Lancel.

In Meereen , combat at Daznak's fighting pit resume, and Daenerys is stunned to see Jorah among the fighters. His victory is interrupted when the Sons of the Harpy launch a surprise attack. They quickly surround Daenerys and her supporters, including Jorah. Drogon suddenly arrives, burning many Sons of the Harpy; Daenerys mounts Drogon and commands him to fly away.

Chapter 69 : Qyburn meets Cersei in her cell. She learns that in her absence , Grand Maester Pycelle has taken over the small council. Kevan Lannister is offered Regency , while Mace Tyrell is named hand of the King. Cersei appointed followers are either removed from the council or have abandon the capital and her to her fate. Because of the strong evidence against her , She can either confess to her sins and beg for forgiveness and wait for her trial , or remain in the dungeon and rots. Since only her affair with Lancel can be proven , she decides to claim innocence of her other sins such as murder of king Robert and Incest.

In Myr , having gathered evidence of Volantis scheme of using the greyscale and the approval of other free cities , Renner plans to ready their armies to march on Volantis. But her work is interrupted when she is informed by one of her sisters that Ainz , in the guise of a masked magic caster , has returned to Myr. Renner immediately goes to meet with Ainz , who asks about Malak's whereabouts. Though she feels uneasy about Ainz decision to not remove his mask even in her presence , she conclude that he must be wary about someone watching them with surveillance magic. Renner informs him about the events that have happened. Ainz declares they must continue their work here , as he has faith that Malak will be victorious. Ainz also tells Renner that he has dominated the White Walkers and plans to use them to wipe Westeros clean of all humanity in order to put an end to the corrupt state and make way for their own people to settle in the continent.

(The events of the coming chapters happens at the same time as the pervious ten chapters)

Chapter 70 : Abaddon congrats Samael and Arthas over their victories. He calls them both his sons , and urge them to keep working together to defeat the Sorcerous Kingdom once and for all. Even though he thinks it is unlikely that they will ever be able to conquer Nazarick , He believes they can chop away their strength little by little and force them underground by capturing , rather than just killing , the Guardians and high level NPCs of Nazarick. While Samael and Arthas have somewhat of a rivalry relationship with each other , they agree that they should work together to defeat their foe , thanks to Uriel influence. Soon news arrive that Malak is gathering her forces and with the aid of Cocytus has attacked one of the major cities under the control of the Republic. Samael leave to prepare for a counterattack , while Arthas who saw Malak before but couldn't claim his vengeance in battle vows to get her this time.

Chapter 71 : The angelic armies attack the city , but are met with heavy resistance. After days of Battle , Malak is forced to withdraw after suffering heavy casualties and losing hundreds of midtier undead and two of Cocytus high level servants who are too badly injured and are transported to Nazarick to be healed. Samael , overjoyed by his victories against Malak , decides to pursue her and her fleeting army. Arthas agrees with him and they go after the retreating undead army.

Malak and her forces are passing through a road within the Great forest of Evasha , when they are ambushed and attacked by Samael and Arthas leading a Small army of angels but with the support of a squad of high level NPCs each. During the fight , which is quickly turned to the advantage of angelic side , Arthas witness Malak mount gets killed by two high level angels. Malak kills the attacking angels with her fire , and then flees into the forest alone. Arthas chases her personally , even though his wife shouts at him to wait for her. Uriel is engaged in combat with more high level undead and is unable to pursue Arthas to help him.

As Arthas chase Malak , he finds himself at the edge of the forest near a cliff. Though he can't see Malak , he can somehow sense the fire within her , and knows that she must be close. Suddenly , he is shot by a black arrow emitting a black aura. Though the arrows sticks to him , His World Guardian armor protects him from ranged attacks so he doesn't take any damage. The Attack reveals Malak location, hidden on top of a tree using a "Perfect Camouflage" cloak. Malak descend quickly , armed with a short bow instead of her usual two handed sword. Arthas attacks her , but she keeps evading his attacks and launch several more arrows at him , though they deal almost no damage to him. Enraged , he use his power and unleash a Firestorm AoE skill which burns a 100 meters radius area. His attack does nothing to damage Malak , who is completely immune to fire element thanks to her World Class Item.

Arthas tries to fight her once more , but to his shock the arrows that are stuck in his armor begin to form into chains and bond him to the ground. He slashes the chains with his sword , but they keep reappearing and bound him further. Malak , with a cold and unemotional look on her face , uses her magic to further bounds Arthas. It finally dawns on Arthas that he is under the effect of a curse released by the arrows Malak struck him with.

Malak sheaths her bow , and take out her long sword. She declares her desire to claim vengeance on him for all he has done to harm her family. Arthas roars at Malak and tells her that she has no right to say such a thing , when she and her father have destroyed countless families of their own. He claims that even if Malak tortures and kills him , his spirit will never stop coming after her for what she has done to his family. Though a little confused about what he is talking about , she calls him unfit to wear Artanis armor, As Artanis would never have fallen so easily like he did. Saying so , she removes his helmet so that she can look him in the eyes when she kills him.

As soon as their eyes meet , Malak drops the helmet to the ground. Shocked and speechless, she looks at the young warrior before her and mutters " Artanis?... no... could it be... Arthas?!"

Arthas feel a little confused about Malak behavior, but seeing her guard dropped, he uses his "Seraphim Fire" to melt the chains and arrows and attacks a stunned Malak.

Sword in hand, Malak went on full defensive. Despite Arthas offensive and getting badly wounded in the process , she refuse to attack him , Instead begging him to stop. Arthas is deaf to such pleas however, and instead manage to "Shield Bash" Malak to a nearby rock, which shatters it. Seeing no other choice and gravely wounded, Malak use her fire to counterattack Arthas. He proves immune to the effect of her WCI and strikes at Malak once more. But when his vision is blocked the mist of flame, she cuts of his right arm with a "Jet stream Slash".

( Author note : I rather tell this last part of this chapter with details and from Characters perspective. It would be a waste of material otherwise!)

" Arrghh!" He yelled from the depth of his soul. The pain he felt was so terrible, like he was stab with a hot red iron spike.

" It is over. Don't make me hurt you anymore." His enemy said, standing over him with her dark twisted sword in hand.

Arthas crawled himself to the edge of the cliff, where a lone tree had grown at the very spot. One could be forgiven to think that all that tree needed to fall in the valley beneath was to be pushed slightly. He grabbed a branch of that tree and rested his shoulders on its trunk. His intention was clear to him, if he was going to die or become captured, he would deny his enemy the pleasure by jumping of the cliff.

" Arthas." Malak called to him, with a voice that was devoid of any malice and hatred, but rather filled with concern, which disgusted him.

" You do not realize how much strength is within you. You have only scratched the surface of your abilities... Join me and I will help you unlock your true power! With our Fires combined, we can put an end to this everlasting conflict and bring a new order to this world! "

" I will never join you!"

He yelled with all the fury and hatred within him. He would never even consider the option of joining a monster such as her.

Malak looked at with a slight sense of pity, with a cold smile that showed how unhappy and sad she was.

" You are truly Artanis's son. You have the same stubborn head. Something that he called honor. His honor is what got your father killed... Abaddon never told you what happened to your parents, did he?"

" He told me all I needed to know!" Arthas forced himself to stand up as he slightly bent down over the edge of the cliff. " He told me you killed my father and mother!"

Malak narrowed her eyes in clear displeasure and anger, before putting her left hand over her chest.

" No Arthas... I Am Your Mother!"

The world froze in that instance, and in a short moment that felt like an eternity, Arthas felt as if it was crashing down on his shoulders.

His eyes were wide open, and he looked at Malak with a look that he had never before. Fear and disbelieve.

" No..." he denied it. " no... That's not True... That's Impossible!"

Of course it was impossible. How could it be possible? It was a well-known fact that Malak and his father Artanis had fight against each other for centuries. There was no way that they could have ever been together.

Besides, It was a well-known fact that despite her humanoid looks, Malak was an undead being. There was simply no way for undead to have children. Even the highest of Super tier magic spells were unable to make such a thing possible.

With all of this considered, it was most likely that she was just lying to confuse him.

" Search your feelings and mind! Where do you think the Eternal Flame that is coursing through your veins came from?! All the hatred and the burning desire for vengeance and blood that you feel within your soul despite your angelic nature, it is all from me! Look at a mirror, and you can see my face as well as your father looking back at you. You know this to be True!"

Arthas wanted to yell back in disbelieve again, but once he thought about all over, he could not do so. And when he looked within his heart, he knew that Malak words were true.

" Noooo! Nooo!

With a voice that was full of pain and despair, Arthas shouted with all of the power in his heart.
