Notes:

So it's been 5 months since I last updated. Honestly my motivation for the story kind of dwindled. But I was just not feeling up to writing any of my other stories right now and I decided to check up on this story and I finished it. I was going to add a few more chapters but I feel like this is a good place to end it. And maybe it will motivate me to write book 6.

Since I do have a plan for book 6. It'll take some interesting turns that nobody will expect and hopefully I will get up to updating that regularly again.

Thank you all for sticking with me for such a long wait for this chapter. I'm so glad at all the attention this series gets, it's probably one of my most popular series aside from "Transitioning into the Unknown."

So it's over this chapter I kind of wrap it all up and it's left on sort of a cliffhanger until the next book.

Enjoy

Two days later, when it all ends…

Dean POV:

"Cas, bees aren't important right now, we have a plan to kill Dick freaking Roman, and you're still on the honey collecting shit," I say into the phone trying to get Cas on the case.

I mean, I'm not letting Stiles in on this plan, it's a small shot that this will even work.

"But Dean, the bees are the centerpiece of your food system. How will the plants grow if you don't study the ways of the bees? It's so important, Dean." Is Cas' reply, and it takes all my willpower not to curse at him.

If I do, he'll go off and disappear for weeks again.

Outside POV:

Dean and Sam convinced Castiel to come to help them. It took a bit of persuading on Dean's side, but eventually, the plan was made. Though Dean and Sam did not know that two methods were being made and carried out. No, only Stiles and his group and Bobby were privy to that information. Was that a stupid decision? Probably. We all know Stiles makes excellent plans, but as always, something goes wrong.

And did things go wrong...

The plan was carried out in the very beginning perfectly. Sam and Dean created the perfect distraction so that Stiles, Peter, Allison, and Lydia could sneak in. By crashing their car to the front and going in guns, blazing nobody paid attention to the back exit, just like how Stiles had thought. While Dean and Sam made their way up to Dick Roman, Lydia got in place with Allison. And Peter and Stiles kept going forward.

After three minutes, Lydia screamed. Every supernatural creature fell on the floor because of their overpowered hearing. Of course, this hurts Peter a bit, but since he knew this was going to happen, they had planned ahead. Peter had stuffed cotton in his ears enough so that he could barely hear normally. The humans in the building, of course, also heard the screaming and as deafening as it was; it wasn't as bad. But from hearing the scream, a bunch of leviathans headed towards where it came from so that it wouldn't happen again because that caused a lot of deaths.

After all, Dean and Sam continued through the pain somehow and kept Boraxing those motherfuckers like a boss.

Coincidentally Sam, Dean, Peter, Castiel, Stiles, and Peter all arrived in front of Dick Roman together. The shock on Sam and Dean's face was easily shown on their faces, but they pushed through it to focus on the mission at hand so you can see the underlying anger in Dean's face at the apparent betrayal of trust.

Castiel had a weird look on his face when looking at Peter though it passed quite quickly. Since it wasn't the time to ask questions. But I wonder what those questions were?

Anyway, Dick Roman gave the evil villain speech. Honestly, it was so on point with what Stiles said he was probably going to say that even Stiles was shocked at how stupid this guy was. I mean sure he built up a lot, but considering how completely overpowering he was around a bunch of ignorant humans, his success wasn't really unexpected.

When Stiles learned what he was doing and all the foods that they couldn't eat, he was upset. He couldn't go to his favorite diner and get curly fries for fear that the restaurant may have used the goop that Dean said was in the sandwich he ate that made him stoned or something. Stiles didn't really get told much; all he got was half stories and bits and pieces.

And the fact that they took away his curly fries.

Nobody does that. Nobody!

After the whole evil villain speech, Dean stabs him with the fake weapon.

Of course, Roman laughs in their face. He talks about how he coined Crowley to his side until they were the ones getting played. He talks about the new faces in the room. But it didn't matter because they were the superior beings.

However, at once, Peter shifts into a werewolf and attacks him, as per Stiles' plan. There is definitely shock on his face at seeing a monster work with hunters.

I don't know if you could call Castiel a monster. He was weird for sure, but a monster, I think not. A holy creature, maybe? Who knows?

But with the distraction of Peter knocking Dick Roman to the ground, Dean used this opportunity to take out his second bone knife and stab him directly through the throat. It went in through the front, and out through the back, it was really bloody and kind of grotesque. Though I don't think Peter minded since he was already covered in Dick Roman's blood from his momentary beat down, as per Stiles' plan.

Dick Roman fell down motionless and dead. The feeling of euphoria, from just doing it. Completing the hunt, all that they've fought against, for the many months, at least for Dean and Sam. The weight lifting off their shoulders that they actually did it! The feeling of just screaming "yes!" at the top of their lungs.

No anger on anyone's face, just pure joy even the betrayal of trust and the plans behind people's backs did nothing, as only joy and the feeling of accomplishment was felt—an endless sense of joy.

But that endless joy did not last endlessly. Peter backed up when he noticed something weird happening in the air. Almost like the air was vibrating. He backed away from Dick Roman's dead, lifeless body.

Dean was still standing next to the body, hands on his knees after breathing pretty hard. Just letting out is pure exhaustion after the fact. Stiles walked right next to him and slapped him on the shoulder, his own joy overwhelming him and just being happy.

Peter noticed it a little too late. He didn't realize what was happening until Dick Roman's body caved in on itself. He tried, Sam and Peter tried so hard, both reaching for Stiles and Dean but both falling too short.

Castiel also noticed what was happening and was quicker and happened to grab Dean and Stiles. But instead of helping the situation, he just made it worse, by getting himself, Dean and Stiles pulled right into the caved-in body of Dick Roman.

The moment that they entered the black hole that used to be Dick Roman's body, a bunch of black goo just started coming out of the walls, the floor, through the doors, just all being sucked into that black hole. And a few seconds later, the black hole collapsed in on itself, and they were standing in an empty office.

The leviathan may be gone but, so was their family.

Lydia POV:

After all of the leviathan drop dead to the floor, Allison and I started heading higher up, figuring that we succeeded. We quickly ran into the room, but it was weird. Peter was kneeling on the floor with his head touching the floor. And Saim was standing there with his arm held out, grasping at nothing. And nobody else was there. Where the hell did Stiles and Dean go?

I walked up to Peter with Allison following me, and we touched his shoulder to see what was going on because neither of them was speaking, just staring.

"Peter, what's going on? Where's Stiles?"

Allison walked over to Sam, who was still standing there, motionless. She tapped him on his shoulder, trying to wave him out of the trance he seemed to be in. Behind us, Derek and Malia walked in.

They were told to stay by the entrance in case we needed back up. Stiles didn't want Malia to come in just in case, and Derek opted to stay with her. They also look confused. We were basically clueless until either Sam or Peter spoke.

Peter seems to break out of the trance first, though I started to get a bad feeling after he shifted and howled. It was such a heartbreaking howl.

Derek seemed to stare at him, confused, slowly understanding what was going on. Malia also seemed to understand what was going on, but the humans in the room were still quite confused.

I asked again because it seemed Sam had snapped out of whatever fancy was in the moment Peter started howling.

"What the hell happened?"

Sam looked at me, finally noticing everyone else in the room.

And he sunk to his knees, "They're gone, all of them, they're gone."

What?

Allison asked the question on the tip of my tongue,

"What do you mean they're gone? Where did they go? Peter, what happened? Where is Stiles?"

Peter looked lost,

"Gone…" he looked at Sam seemingly to ask with his eyes, 'gone where?'

"They probably went where the leviathans came from, they probably got sucked into purgatory. What the hell are we going to do now?" he says, sitting on his knees, just staring at a pile of blood on the floor.

I assume that's where they killed Dick Roman.

It hit me a little slower because I didn't witness it properly but does that mean that Stiles was gone now. Was he d-d-dead or just gone? If he was gone, we could get him back. But-But if he was the other thing, I-I-I don't know what to do. Stiles was the one to come up with the plans.

I sink down to the floor next to Peter, and Allison joined us. Peter was already halfway to crying, but he wasn't exactly crying yet. It was more of a whimpering sound like a sad dog would make, which didn't really help the matter.

Allison started crying, coming to the same conclusion I came to probably. I didn't cry, but my eyes began to water, and I was barely holding on.

I looked over to Malia, who also started whimpering like Peter, slowly moving closer to us. Probably wanting to be with her pack, because that's what we kind of were. We were a pack with Stiles, but without him, I don't know?

Outside POV:

The next day, after they all moved out of the office building and went home to Stiles' father's house. They had to tell the news to the sheriff. Who broke down crying along with Lydia, Allison, Peter, and Malia.

Sam went to tell Bobby in the hospital. But unlike everyone else who is grieving, Sam was already decided to get his brother, Stiles, and Castiel out of there.

Whatever the cost, in true Winchester fashion.

In a few week's time, Peter disappears, not entirely, but no one knows where he went for a week, he comes back red-eyed and very tired looking.

Lydia, in that time, has the inkling to scream, but she doesn't, so in a way, she thinks that maybe Stiles isn't dead, that perhaps he's just stuck somewhere. But as the day's progress, her hope dwindles.

Allison just sits in Stiles' room, they've been friends for a while now. Stiles was her best friend. And now he's gone, whatever that means. She mourned for her friend's loss by crying on his bed, holding his lacrosse jersey.

Derek, Derek took it pretty hard. He stupidly blamed himself somehow, saying that he was cursed and that all his girlfriends/boyfriend died because of him. He smashed some stuff and left Beacon Hills, putting himself as far away from everything that Stiles cared about, because he didn't want to destroy that too.

The sheriff had a mini-heart attack. After he finally realized that Stiles was gone, and maybe gone for good. It wasn't a full-blown heart attack but enough that he had to stay in the hospital for a week before Melissa let him out again.

Everyone in the old pack was informed about what happened to Stiles. They all mourned in their own ways, but not to the extent of his real friends.

Bobby finally got out of the hospital, though he felt useless. He feels better after everyone else is gone. He goes back to his junkyard, drowning himself in a few bottles of alcohol a day. Because he didn't just lose Stiles, he lost Dean and Castiel as well.

Sam stays for a while; he makes sure that the sheriff is okay for Stiles' sake, then he disappears, searching for a way to bring them back. Though the search doesn't come fruitful soon enough, and he goes on hunts, a lot of hunts taking out his anger on the supernatural.

Malia, even though she didn't know Stiles for long, she starts reverting a little bit back to her coyote nature. It seems the magic that Stiles used on her is slowly weaning. She's trying to get herself under control. It's working slowly, but with her pack in shambles, it seems to be an almost impossible of a task for her.

With the disappearance of their core, everyone left in the world of the living is destroyed. The fight may be over, but at what cost.

The End

Notes:

That's all folks, this is The End of part 5.

I make no promises when part 6 will come out but it will be in the works. I have a few ideas for what will happen in book 6 so hopefully that will all come to fruition.

Thanks for all the love throughout the series and I'll see you another time in another book.
