The second day is a day to build gadgets.

The sound of tinkering and clanging filled the room as the pink-haired mechanical genius continued working on one of her "babies". Once she finished, she took off her goggles and smiled towards the boy who was waiting patiently for her.
"So what can I do for you, Midoriya?"
"H-Hey, Hatsume. I was wondering if you could make some adjustments to the gloves you made me. I think something came loose or something as they feel off when I'm training," explained Izuku as he handed her the gloves.
Mei raised an eyebrow in confusion. She personally made those gloves, so there shouldn't be any problem with them. Regardless though, she was going to get to the bottom of this!
"Don't worry, my babies! Let Mama fix you up and then you can go back with your Daddy!" exclaimed Mei with a grin as she started looking over the gloves.
"P-Please don't word it like that!" squeaked out Izuku, blushing greatly at Mei's words.
The Zoom Quirk user mostly ignored the green-haired youth as she continued with her work. It didn't take long to figure out what was wrong.
"You must have gone through the ringer with these, Midoriya!" exclaimed Mei as she turned to Izuku. "One of the brackets got bent which is why they feel different. Looks like our babies will be staying with me over the weekend until I find a stronger material."
Another blush came from Izuku as he tried to ignore the "babies" comment from Hatsume. "I-If that's what it takes. To be honest, I'm surprised that they broke in the first place, considering your inventions are top notch."
Mei beamed at the compliment. She knew there was a reason she liked Midoriya and it was because he knew greatness when it was right in front of him.
"Don't worry, Midoriya! I'll have them fixed up ASAP!" stated Mei with determination. Izuku could only smile back before giving his thanks and taking his leave. Before he completely left though… "And next time you see that froggy girlfriend of yours, tell her that if she ever needs any underwater gadgets to give me a ring!"
"Eh?! G-Girlfriend?!"
Mei cackled to herself as she got to work and ignored the muttering Midoriya. Not only was she going to upgrade one of her precious "babies", but if she played her cards right she could be getting a new customer as well.
Life was good.

What can be said about Mei Hatsume? Yeah, she's a bit crazy, but she's still one of the better girls in the series.
