I have messed with the ages of some people from Jurassic World since with Harry and magic, the new park is getting built quicker than in canon.
Chapter 16
"Uncle Harry!" a familiar voice squealed.
Harry turned and bent down, scooping the boy off the ground, tickling him.
"No Uncle Harry!" he wriggled wildly and Harry laughed, settling the five year old on his hip.
"Are you trying to escape your lessons?" Alan asked his son as he walked up and Charlie pouted.
"Ah, I see, I'm just a way to get out of lessons," Harry pouted and Charlie shook his head, hugging him. "Alright squirt, get going." He set him down and he ran off down the hallway. "Does he ever run out of energy?"
"Never," Alan admitted and they both laughed. "How are things with Masrani?"
"He's…enthusiastic. Very much like Uncle John in the whole 'spare no expense' attitude. We've got enough set up now to begin putting the animals into enclosures to ensure they work but…I'm not so sure on some of his hires for InGen," he shrugged.
Uncle John had died a few months after the mess with Ludlow and in accordance with his will, Simon Masrani had been given Hammond's share of the company. Hammond hadn't wanted to push even more responsibility on him so he was still the second largest investor but with Masrani in control. He missed the man who had become an Uncle to him over the years but in most ways, he thought John had made a good choice in Simon. None of the rest of his surviving family would have been a good choice, except Tim who'd still been in school and was now at university. While Lex had the brains, she wanted nothing to do with dinosaurs after the mess at the Park and he could understand that. He was hoping that once Tim graduated he could be coaxed to work on the islands, either in the Reserve and therefore for Harry, or at the park, likely with InGen.
"What do you mean?" Alan asked as they headed for the helipad since they were due on Isla Sorna to meet with some of the scientists currently there.
"Well, he's promoted Henry Wu, remember him?"
"I do, don't remember him liking you all that much. I've seen a few papers since the park, he has kept up his work in the area."
"He's brilliant, no doubt about it. It's his ethics that worry me. We're pretty sure his work was involved in that incident back in '98." And hadn't that been a nightmare and a half!
Some idiot had illegally bred a few new species and tried to slip them onto Sorna; Ankylosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus, and Spinosaurus. The company had still been somewhat in chaos after John's death and a scientist had managed to slip their work through the cracks, they just hadn't realised how much Harry had tightened security on the island after the Ludlow affair. In the end, they had checked the animals over thoroughly before carefully introducing them to the island, it wasn't fair to euthanise them, they'd done nothing wrong after all. The Ceratosaurus couldn't compete with the other two big predators or the raptor packs so kept to themselves on the other side of the island. The Spinosaurus was very different from what science was finding out about the species and was obviously very heavily altered genetically. It also did not get along with the T-rex's. They'd had to put a ward across the island to keep the two species apart.
"Is he the only worry?"
"The InGen Security Division," Harry admitted as the boarded the helicopter and put their headsets on. It appears well on its way to becoming a private army and the guy in charge, Vic Hoskins…he kind of reminds me of a mix of Fudge, Dumbledore, and someone scarily competent."
Alan just stared at him, that was a very strange mental image. "And they're in charge of park security?"
Harry nodded. "We've got some of ours there too, it's my land after all. We made sure everything magical was set up before they arrived though since they're all non-magical and none of us trust them enough to let them in on that. If he gives any trouble I'll appoint Amelia as my rep on the island," he grinned and Alan laughed. It was a great plan, the ex-Auror and Minister would be able to keep him and his people in line.

Hermione looked up and smiled as Harry joined her in the library, sharing a gentle kiss. He collapsed in the chair next to her and opened up his laptop to work on his latest paper for class. She had been so proud of him for getting into Yale University, still dreaming of a degree in palaeontology. Just because he was King, didn't mean he had to give up on his education.
She had been accepted at University as well, but had decided on a degree in politics, international relations and law. Every year Sanctus was drawn more into the world around them and they needed to be careful in how they dealt with other nations. As Queen, she wanted to be able to handle things without always having to rely on others. She enjoyed her studies just as she always had and she though it was a good way to split the work of government between them; Harry handled their home while she dealt with things on an international level.
They'd been married for three years now and it was wonderful. Oh they had their arguments but what married couple didn't? they also ignored all the joking comments on heirs, they would have children when they were ready and not before. At the moment, the plan was to complete their studies first so that she wouldn't have to take maternity leave part way through her degree. They also planned to be very involved in raising any children, the beauty of having a small, island, nation was that they had more time than the monarchs of larger nations.
Jurassic World was also due to open in the next few years and that would make things very hectic for a while, not a good time to start a family.

"Harry! How are you, my friend?" Simon walked up, shaking his hand firmly and Harry grinned.
"I'm good. I hear you've found an operations manager?"
"Indeed I have. This is Claire Dearing, Ms Dearing this is His Majesty, King Harry," Simon introduced them and Harry smiled when the young woman hesitated, unsure what to do.
"It's nice to meet you Ms Dearing," he offered his hand to solve the dilemma for her and they shook.
"Thank you, your Majesty."
"I am here as an investor, not royalty. Harry or Mr Potter, please. How do you like the Park so far?"
"It's amazing. I never imagined I would be working at a park with real dinosaurs. That the secrets been kept so long… you were there for the original incident, weren't you Mr Potter."
"I was, even before it happened I had begun making a list of improvements which Simon and I have worked on to ensure greater safety, such as the underground bunkers. The protection of these incredible animals is the main reason behind my purchase of the islands."
"Will you be here often?" she asked and Harry smiled.
"I hope so, I am currently studying for my degree in palaeontology because I've always loved dinosaurs. My wife isn't quite as keen, especially after she found out what happened during my visit to the original park. She prefers watching them from the bunkers."
"Well, shall we get to the grand tour?" Simon asked so they left the office that was to be Claire's and headed out into the Park. Landscaping still needed to be done but the enclosures were done, many already with animals in them. The monorail down to the ferry was almost complete and the hotel was complete, the streets of shops ready but empty. "We should be able to open within the year," Simon announced proudly. "The hatchery is operational and we have two new species that were not in the original park."

Claire looked around her new home, still a little in shock over everything. When she had been approached about a position at a new Park, she had never dreamed it would be something like Jurassic World. It was part resort, part zoo, part amusement park, and that was a little scary. Running either of those three could be difficult but one that was a combination? Well, she always had loved a challenge.
Then she'd met the King of Sanctus! Youngest Monarch in the world, only a few years younger than she was. He was very relaxed, down to earth, which she hadn't expected.
How had the kept the news from leaking about what the parks attractions would be? The world would go crazy once they found out that dinosaurs once again walked the earth…..and she was going to be right in the middle of it…she couldn't wait!

"Happy New Year," Hermione kissed her husband and he kissed her back.
"Happy 2004," he grinned at her. They watched the fireworks from their balcony, taking the night off from Royal Duties like they did every few years, rotating which holiday they retreated from view for. "I can't believe it's been so long," he shook his head and she laughed.
"Thirteen years since we boarded the Hogwarts Express for the first time," she agreed. She would never forget or regret that day, but she also didn't regret leaving Britain and Hogwarts at all. Things back there had improved a little, thanks to the work of Amelia and then Kingsley Shacklebolt as Minister but conditions were still nowhere near as good as even those in America, let alone the islands.
"Any regrets?" he asked, wrapping an arm around her as she snuggled into his side.
"None," she promised. "Just don't get eaten on opening day," she teased and he laughed.
"I'll do my best," he promised. "Sure you won't come?"
"I will be sitting an exam that day so no."
"You know your absence will lead to speculation."
"Let them," she shrugged. They wouldn't start trying until next year when things should be calmer. Harry had finished his undergraduate degree and was taking a break before starting postgraduate work because of the park, she's jumped straight into hers…and was using a time turner to get it done a bit quicker. Since she was the one doing all the work, it wasn't cheating.

Ian chuckled as he saw Alan shifting uncomfortably, not often the man was forced to dress up. He was much more at home in jeans, boot and his ever present hat and not the suit he was wearing for the event. They had arrived early and were watching from the penthouse suite of the Hilton, watching as the monorail disgorged the press and celebrities, anyone who had snapped up the limited tickets for the day. He was pretty sure there were even some lesser Royals in the crowd from several countries. Harry and Simon Masrani would be leading the day but they were being included as experts who had consulted on the park. Ellie and Sarah had remained at home with the kids.
He'd never planned on a fourth but when Sarah had become pregnant they'd been excited. Little Henry Malcom was almost two now, far too young to come. He also had his suspicions that Ellie was pregnant again, if she was it was likely to be the last of the Grant children. They were all waiting excitedly for the day Hermione would announce she was having the next Potter but the couple had made it clear they were using contraceptive potions for at least the next year and it did make sense. Most of their friends were married with at least one kid or at least one on the way. He was just thankful that Blaise had been very happy to wait for Kelly to finish school before proposing. He liked the boy, he was smart, polite, and doing well for himself. The biggest thing about him to like was how happy he made Kelly.
"Ready?" he asked as Harry wandered in, dressed in full Kingly get up.
"As I'll ever be. I am so glad I convinced Simon he should handle most of this as the majority owner."
"You just hate the press," Ian snickered and Harry grinned.
"Yep!"

Harry watched the crowd from the stage as Simon approached the microphone.
"Welcome! Everyone, welcome to Jurassic World!"
TBC…
So Claire is older than what the timeline i found said she was in 2002. it says she was born in 83 or 85 but i wanted her a few years older than Harry since the park is opening earlier.
