Minato was on his phone at the breakfast table. Hearing footsteps, he looked up and saw Yu and Minako coming down the stairs.

"Morning you two." He said.

"Morning." Minako replied.

"So, Minato. Any luck on releasing Naoya, Tatsuya and Maya?" Yu asked as he and Minako sat down.

"Nope. Atlus's basement lock is really complex. It took me ages to unlock Minako's cell. Don't know if I can unlock theirs."

"Ah well, we shouldn't give up." Yu said, taking a sip of coffee. "By the way, where's Akira?"

"You didn't hear the news?"

"What news?" Minako asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Akira's in Smash Bros."

Yu spat out the coffee he was drinking in Minato's face. Minako was spluttering for a few seconds, before yelling "WHAAAAAAT?!"

Wiping the coffee off with an irritated expression, Minato nodded. "Yup. He got the invitation a few hours ago."

"OH COME ON!" Yu yelled, throwing his arms into the air. "WHY WASN'T I CHOSEN?!"

"Don't you constantly complain about being in 'spin-off hell'? Why are you complaining?" Minako asked him.

"THIS is different! THIS is Smash Bros!"

Minato's phone rang and he picked it up to see it was Akira on the line.

"Hello?"

"Put it on speakerphone."

Minato shrugged, but did as Akira said.

"SUCK IT NARUKAMI! YOU TOLD ME I WOULD SUFFER IN SPIN-OFF HELL! NOW I'M IN SMASH BROS AND YOU'RE IN THE SOON TO BE FORGOTTEN BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE! HA HAAAAAAAAAAA!"

He then hung up.

Yu punched the wall before leaving the room to scream in anger and jealousy.

"So... you wanna go get some breakfast somewhere else?" Minato asked.

"Good idea."

A/N: Hey guys! Wanted to let you all know I'm not dead. Been busy on the other sites I'm active on (YouTube, Deviantart, Twitter) and a lot of school stuff. This is a little update.

Azure of Berseria is NOT dead. It's currently on the backburner though.

I also have a Persona 4 x Danganronpa fic in the works, so look forward to that as well.
